Jordan Peterson's Shadow?

 

 

Jordan Peterson is a fighter.
He is also a professing teacher with a following.

While he teaches about the shadow self - or denied psyche - he doesn't exemplify healing but fighting. I could call it negatively framed ideological capture.
Jesus - who does teach healing - warns in the context of all else he also teaches: "Resist ye not evil!"
Why"
Because what we resist persists in the shadow of a masking or covert Id set as 'war on evil" or in modern terms 'countermeasures'.

ideological possession is a state of being phished or possessed by our own imaged thinking - given priority over and therefore overriding all else - which becomes subverted, subjected or sacrificed to judgements accepted as irrevocably true.

from what I see, he uses the 'scapegoat' awareness for attacking 'anti-Semitism' (a weaponised term for a special or overriding form of racism) - but overlooks the same mechanism entirely in respect of those who resist tyrannous occupation and ethnic subjugation, violence and extermination/expulsion from a land grab that cannot have peaceable borders - as all 'others' are deemed both lesser and a threat - excepting to operate under compliance as a captured and controlled asset.

Jordan Peterson might consider that the faces of Nazism and Bolshevik communism were supported by the same financial-industrial cartels - that may be hosted in specific nations but are not subject to their laws. They cultivate polarised identity fragmentation as part of maintaining social order - in terms of this oversight & control.

The captured and controlled slave or asset is a given and trained in a status of golem rather than as a living human being - because the overriding identity of control runs a 'jealous god' - in the sense of a self-reinforcing elitism or self-specialness - to which life as it is, is seen unworthy, treacherous, threatening and thus to be suppressed, denied and only the elect or chosen to be trained and accepted to insider status.

I read a very succinct account of the exact same pattern this morning in a book called Pharmakon: Plato, Drug Culture, and Identity in Ancient Athens by Michael A. Rinella

There is a tension between polarities of mythos & logos - but logos has presented as the overriding order - yet as bound to fail as Prometheus.
When the 'solution' mask and run as a repackaging of the 'problem', a pharmakon of magically distorted consciousness persists in ever shifting variants to inevitable breakdown or 'stasis' (as Plato used it) that the 'solution was invoked to save from - and can thus 'reset itself' from?

What is a covert identity but a masking presentation be-lived real because it is seen to get what we want or get away or get rid of what we dont. In its fantasy it is self-special BY definition. That we are all invested stakeholders with 'flesh in the game' so to speak, is our adaptive identity within mutually shared or agreed definitions. It's a kind of virtual operating system for selective unconsciousness, that knows not what it does.
