Rather than blindly operate current definitions and presumptions of “We” who have not - at least officially - found or been found in relationship with life beyond the confines of our Planetary sphere or indeed of our general dimensional identification in the temporal-physical plane... consider that within Infinite Consciousness, any definition will generate correspondence of reflecting reinforcement.
In order to open a more inclusive communication and relationship, look to the limiting and excluding factors in our personal and collective self-definitions - because what seems to be a fixed perspective by which to experience what we then call ‘world’ or ‘universe’ or ‘outer reality’ is in fact fluid, elastic and operating at frequencies of which we are generally, currently blocking - as a result of tuning in to a specific sub-set for specific purposes - that have characterized this particular facet of the the Human Experience. The current use of mind operates a blocking and limiting device for a segregative focus within body frameworks that deny or usurp the living communication through body.
One of the issues of expanding perspective from a narrowly defined exclusivity to a more universal and multidimensional appreciation is that of psychotic breakdown as a result of unprepared re-entry to Consciousness from a Newtonian sense of control over separate bodies or indeed ‘separate’ thoughts.
That communications are already operating between diverse facets and dimensions of ‘Life’ is simply always - whether recognized or not, but the human mind has learned to not see or recognize its integrality within wholeness in the belief-attempt to operate a discrete and separate identity.
Intimacy is not the bringing or rubbing of bodies together, yet communication of an intimately shared purpose of thought and feeling can be traumatic to an insistence in maintaining distance. Hence willingness and desire for communication is part of the re-discovery ad re-cognition of the ‘more’ of who you are and what Life Is.
Communication cannot be forced - and the matrix of thinking that passes as ‘communication’ operates a force-field of exclusion and denial. You are as alone as your identification dictates - and this is a choice though it seems an insurmountable conditioning.
Find (or be found in) the Life that you are - that is being all there is where ‘you’ seem to be, as a true and unwithheld presence. Now are you a point of presence that participates vibrationally instead of a conceptual fragmentation set in forms of conflicted denials.
Oh.. and we are all equally ‘special’ as a focal point of reflection and communication within All That Is. The gravitic catchment of self-specialness is in fact an incredibly weak ‘force’ that requires great compression of focus to operate within - but is then felt overwhelming within such ‘local’ perspective.

Ism Isn't a True God but Idol-ogy
Socialism, the God that Failed – And What's Coming Next
The above links to political comment on the 'death of socialism' in terms of its original inception or inspiration at least. For versions of it are becoming hardwired by technocracy via financial and corporate leverage.
Gore Vidal, the recently demised American writer, once famously quipped that the US economic system is "free enterprise for the poor and socialism for the rich".
I find isms to be rationalized attempts to map or formulate and then control or apply accordingly - and as such they are all 'dead' whereas the actuality of relational event or communication is alive. The sacrifice of individuality for presumed or assumed collective good is itself a further development or expression of the sacrifice of true nature for the identity of compliance and conformity. This mask or persona is part of being able to survive and operate within physical existence - but within the core template are imprints of guilt and fear that effectively deny and cover over the core being - and make perceptual multilayered distortion or 'mind' as an interloper to relationship and communication.
All such conditioning manifests in and as our lives, our relationships and world in repeating recognizable patterns, now generally accepted as 'the human condition'. Most thinking operates within the dictates of such conditioning, but insights and illuminations are bleedthroughs or openings of the mind to a greater perspective. Some come to question their surface reality and uncover the conditioning, so as to be free of it - but many seek to use it to gain personal advantage over those still unaware - because they themselves are under illusion of being free of it while it is running the script of their supposed conceptual and perceptual superiority in the terms it sets.
Collectivism (of any brand) is one expression of the identification within conceptual identity that denies Individual free willing - because free willing is always truly relational. Individualism as an ism or identity is a conceptual framework to which relational being - our Feeling Awareness - is subjugated and subjected to denial thereby. Not that conceptual models, maps or frameworks cant play a role where they are fitting - but the contextual agreement to use them is a relational outcome of communication in the largest sense, not a coercive trick or pressure of force.
The elitism is the idea that only the elect - the chosen - or indeed those who have chosen, are fit or worthy and the unworthiness of all else is required. Being inherently self-seeking and hierarchical, it does not integrate EXCEPTING in common antipathy to anything that threatens its 'free will' - as interpreted in terms of defending NON-relationality or a state of seeming separate independence.
Identifying power elites as unfair spoilers of the game for anyone else is still within the strategy of coercing outcomes rather than arriving at outcomes through relational willingness. Trouble begins at home and trouble abroad is a ruse to divert attention from disclosure of a kind that
would result in transformation - free willingly - in the truth of an open perspective. To the gamer - this is pulling the plug on play and so all players of every variation will play to prevent or delay this occurring - even choose death rather than let this occur.
The only way free of addiction is to restore perspective experience of wholeness and dare to find out what the outcome is of such a willingness. It is said that there is no communication with an addict until and unless they bottom out - because whatever they say or seem to agree is able to be triggered and replaced by the subconsciously operating persona - that cannot be rationalized away or communicated with excepting by living a new and consistent pattern of actions from the trigger places.
A deep and pervasive cultural distrust of our Life, our nature, of receptivity, and the Feminine Principle of Feeling awareness is part of the self-castrated male aspect seeking to regain and assert a sense of lost potency by separating off from and imposing blame on Life - and making war on it as if there could be a winner!
There is no way to wrap or map Life in concept and make love or be love with it. It remains a private fantasy in which to worship a kind of death as victorious while presuming to rise above the abandoned gross and weak unworthiness of Life. But all that does is store up 'treasures' in hell. For what is rejected and denied is forever part of You and only your relational balance with all of who and what you wholly are will make a heaven of it. Investment in judgement is investment in Face and if everything is focussed in your Face book then you've forgotten Who you are until you lose face. However disillusionment is just another illusion of face unless truly opening from self regard to a true relational responsibility. If you are not vigilant to establish and maintain a presence of awareness then the mind will spin you into old patterns of reaction and you will not even know it - or will struggle in conflicted mind as if you are as it's thought narrative frames you to be.

Coming from what might be called a spiritual perspective - of a willingness for self-honesty, integration of insight and alignment of acceptance, I note that the generally acted-out from model of 'life' is of seeking a personal survival on the basis of a personal 'body-bagged' identity in a world of presumed 'dead or dumb stuff' that is essentially to be used or exploited for the support and reinforcement of the separate self sense. Which operates a self reinforcing loop of fearfully conditioned behaviour and identity.
Light is also a term for awareness itself, as well as that quality of which seeing is. 'Letting the light back in' or letting ourselves be drawn back into the light, is a significant shift from the 'getting' mentality of a scarcity consciousness - towards re-cognizing our nature as receptors and communicators of Life and Light.
Information does not have to be translated into human mental terms to BE the communication of Life - but exclusive identification within self-specialness or fearful errors of our own modelling can work to make us blind and dumb to our true participation within an Infinite Communication.
The idea of food is of connection to Supply, (Mother) and the belief in separation from Source is the idea of coercive control at the cost of manual override of otherwise natural functions and this is the mind of conflicted powers that attempts to usurp anything living communication to its private agenda. But to get back to the food of light - I feel to acknowledge this discovery of what is already true but we had not 'known' it - or included it in our model of understanding - is potent as symbol as well as sustenance, for symbol is an integral template level of our consciousness, which manipulators seek to use as leverage, but which Life can resonate as awakened intimacy of insight, direction, purpose and passion.
That is to say, a blindness falls away that we did not recognize we suffered under and there is now more light available.
I expect etheric or subtler qualities of communication to come into view as a result of the renewal of a wider science than corporately captured technologism allows. Everything is relationship, but to let back into Life is also to encounter the fear of the loss of control. Truly embraced and embracing instances of health, restored function and consciousness of such reconnection to living relationship, witness to a basis from which to live that renders the fear-driven urge for coercive control obsolete.
Ah but I have a highly developed quality of discernment - and can easily discern wheat among the chaff - or indeed the lack of ANY signal in mere noise.
What makes such 'noise' but the defiant denial of true meaning in which to assert its own story at the complete disregard of all else?
A none-sense mind can only perceive a none-sense world, though it can fantasize applause - or the pain of rejection and invalidation of its story.

Crazy Man
I enjoyed reading and interview with: George Burdeau on the Magna Carta, Subsistence Culture and the Future of Western Civilization - at the Daily Bell.
With regard to a phrase used in the commentary on the interview:
"How societies should be organized" is symptomatic of the lack or problem based consciousness. I would say that how societies choose to organize themselves is free of the idea of an external coercion working upon a defined lack.
With regard to the roots of the craziness in the 'white man' that has spread across the earth:
The sense of disconnection from Life (with a big L) is a foundational aspect of the 'white man's sickness'. Even though he might try to devise or imagine systems of asserted or imposed unity upon his psyche, and his world, they express the same root fear.
Unconscious fear belies our conscious waking experience, as which we imagine ourselves to be a segregated, private, separate organism or power unto our self - amidst a perceived conflicting competition of powers and adversities. That is we identify ourselves over and against our experience and seek to prevail and have dominion over our world such that it witnesses to our glory/achievement/importance.
This capacity of psychic disconnection from Life was developed over millennia - as a tool of exploration of experience. It can be seen in terms of many layered multifaceted psychological defence mechanisms. In this sense human consciousness/society is insane.
But the disconnection from Life is not actual, regardless the intensity of the experience of disconnection. There is a reintegration to true alignment and is exemplified by George's willingness in acting on and following his excitement, passion and joy in life. This is the key to resonance. If one does not act from felt-connection one reinforces the disconnect.

I feel the phrase "White man" had a particular currency for the Native peoples with regard to predominantly European settlers - but is more applicable to a cultural mentality than colour. To a mentality that is a stranger to itself, its world and its true relations and that seeks to redefine all things unto its own (self) image. This mental sickness was noted as distinct from simply operating racism in return.
I feel that mental sickness is the true nature of the problem and that attempts to coerce life arise from such fear and confusion. The concept of personhood itself has been disconnected from its functionality - as if the self-concept itself redefines its function. As if the mind redefines what mind actually is and operates as if such asserted beliefs are true and defends them with (and as) its 'life'.
Corporations are ego writ large upon the world.
Laws held some degree of order and limited behaviours acting against the interest of others or the whole but themselves became a vehicle of controlling others and disregarding wholeness.
Systems intending a fair and practical lawful transaction become corrupted to enact the power that pretends to legitimacy but is hateful in secret.
If everyone and everything is essentially here for you to get from, then there is no relationship, only strategy. Instead of sharing a blessing by extending the value of Life in the communications of meeting, there is 'gathering data'. Such a mind is fearfully programmed in a way that could be called 'mind control'.
Note that the mind is a channel of communication and experience, and the term mind-control is an oxymoron.
Yet in the currency of meanings and definitions that program our perception-experience, control not only feels real, it feels our most treasured possession - that is unless we re-integrate consciousness to Itself and relinquish the illusion of power in order to creatively engage the power of illusion.
If we choose to operate from a sense of self that makes us the enemy of Life, then that is the experience we have chosen to have. We may not set it in such terms, but if our personal or cultural self-specialness is worshipped above all else UPON the rejection of the other, then that is the idea we invest in - no matter how much obfuscating justifiction is summoned to its aid.

The Wizard of Oz comes to mind. It was the dog who pulled the curtain.
Who was the Wizard of Oz behind the projected persona of power and dread?
Someone who'd gotten lost and then gotten more lost in taking on what he could not in fact live up to.
The psychology of power is the psychology of powerlessness - for who but those in fear of their powerlessness seek to wield forcefully what they neither believe they have nor understand.
If they had it, they would not fear losing it, If they understood it they would trust it rather than asserting force of will upon themselves and others.
The power that aligns and unifies is not trusted by the fearful who seek to manually manage what nature already does. Does the brain (or the heart), force its will upon the body? No. All of the parts share a unified purpose. But if one denies the body its full sustenance and submits it to stresses that accumulate further blockage to its natural functional renewal, then not only will the functionality and total communication of the whole dis-integrate - but that elements of the body will begin to function lawlessly - that is - as if they were isolated growth mechanisms that attack and seek to prevail OVER the health and renewal of the body. Self interest of a unified purpose mutates to self-interest of an apparently rogue element.
The key psychology is of disconnection from awareness of Source - for this is the basis of what is now called 'the human condition'. Every 'life' at some point expands beyond the consciousness of the body - even as entering such a highly specific focus serves as the 'birth' of a consciousness within such physical experience - which to some degree or another is also the 'forgetting' of who and what you are and what moves you to engage and embrace this experience.
All of us have known a sense of the illegitimacy of powerlessness that the physically identified self experiences and have raged at the Universe. This sense of insult rage does not abate so much as retreat in order to then more ingeniously strategize its own will to prevail. The will to power may work passively as much as aggressively - but it makes an interlocking alternative script to a truly intimate communication. The realm of action and reaction feeds polarized identities to its protagonists. Who rules this realm must protect the idea from which its power stems and keep the curtain drawn: the disconnection of the physical consciousness from its Life Source. The simple truth is that such disconnection - were it possible, would be your non-existence, yet direct awareness of such connection is the non-existence of the independent power - and thus we worship death in life as power and fear the Life Itself as our death. This is beneath the view our fearful mind allows.

Another words you did not want to view this and assume you are the all knowing without participation? Do have this right?
I watched the first 5 mins. I like Adam Curtis documentary stories. I like their lack of moralizing or telling us what to think. I agree that psychology is the 'dark art' when used to manipulate and control others rather than to shine a light for all to see. But you know - most don't WANT to see - they want their mind supported just the way it is.
I might get back to watch some more. I find the narration weird - what's with that? There's a market of at least attention for dark facts and dark insight that has an undertone of disturbing dissonance. I accept that we are disturbed by the breaking of our model of reality - but I do not stop there.
What I wrote above is not in judgement of you or the vid you linked. I write whatever comes up for me as a perspective shared. It may be dense, and lacking in qualifying protocols of normal conversation - but it is not offended by what you offered. It joins with you. There are many threads in a tapestry and people can tune in or out of what they feel moved to join with.
When a post gives a linked video without any accompanying extension of communication, it does not communicate as much presence for me. I told you a couple of things of why I resonate with Adam Curtis documentaries - which are well worth watching and freely so online.
I feel he approached the way ideas propagate and structure the society, and though there are persons through which these ideas spread and jump from one discipline to another - that view come closer to truth for me than the worship of the ego in its power.
When certain parasites infect a host, they influence its thinking. In a way I see that our consciousness has been hacked and that we are being led to our collective death, because the disconnect we interpret as death is the basis of a parasitic control thinking. It invites us to give up our sovereignty for the illusion of power rather than maintain a clear vision on the power of illusion.
Fear of loss, fear of death, fear of pain and injury to the body and mind - these things are known and exploited by promises of power and protection that actually keep us in the fear of losing rather than the wholeness of going for what we really want in any given moment. Who has the right to keep us in fear framed perspective? Answer, whoever we give the power to do so and then suffer as if it was theirs and believe we are denied.
We have broad agreements to not hurt each other - but there are many who do not share that agreement, or who turn a blind eye when the hidden hurt they support comes to their attention.
Or who cannot hold with their integrity when their own position feels directly threatened.
Shame is the demand to keep secret. Who hides in shadows must fear the light. Yet it is light that the shame is undone. There is a difference between shadow deceptions and discretion. But only those who honour life know what it is. Honour gives privacy to that which is honourable, and some see and sow generously where others see their own hatreds reflected. Every moment is a unique situation. I know nothing but the situation I am in now. (Though I can still fall for the illusion of knowing that blocks or diverts me from knowing what I need to know now. Such illusion is the human expertise).

It allows me to share the same article in different forums to simply altar one letter. Otherwise the system will not allow me to share it in different discussions where it can, and will apply. Do you make much of a living as a philosopher?
I imagine that you have encountered a spam/cross posting defence that is designed to limit or protect the system for communication, from noise.
Everyone places what they value on the altar of their beliefs and has their reward in accord with their investment. My appreciation of the living word rather than the dead letter has not been weaponised or marketised, so as to become a someone or get something special. So the Living that I embrace is nothing that is not available in essence to anyone who uncovers integral worth and who follows their heart's discernment. The form our lives take is not the meaning they hold and share, so if the form has become the meaning of your world you will be hostage to those meanings you have invested in.
Everyone's life holds the exploration of themes at various levels within the richness of reflection. The human perspective sets value in ways that invalidate most of what it is to humanly experience this... living... moment. When people use the term 'reclaim your power', they dream of impacting the world, as if the world's meaning is to be impacted. This power will never inherit the Earth because it invalidates its divinity. There is an unseparateness that an integrated consciousness naturally expresses and is aware of, before and beneath the suggestive insinuations of 'divide and rule'.
Making a living is often confused with getting something - out from a belief and fear of lack, or with becoming a something in one's own right as acquiring or achieving self validation - again supplying a sense of lack. I have noticed these core beliefs or definitions of self-lack and am uncovering a foundation that does not share such distortions. Any such life-experience has intimate value as undistorted expression of joy, but it is the uncovering of the intimacy itself that restores a sense of tangible communion or connectedness as the foundation rather than the goal.
There are times for roots, for shoots and for fruits. "getting man" imagines a self that just suckles on fruits without true roots. It sucks the life out of him while he makes a living because he sacrifices his joy for a fearful or negative sense of him/herself.
I give what I can because I can, to that which I hold true or valuable. Its a moment by moment thing. There's no money in it - as a separate translated framework of meanings, and so there is the willingness to rediscover or give welcome to a direct reflection of wealth by which to regain an integrity of communication - in all aspects of what communication/relationship/exchange can mean.
Instead of 'what's in it for me?' there is 'what is this saying to or inviting or offering the reintegration of my consciousness with the whole - and with its Source?'.
Is it better to have never gone for or lived what moves your life and to die in hedge of securities than to risk into uncovering who you really are - even amidst the often conflicting or confusing human experience?
Was it Socrates who said 'an unquestioned life is not worth living'? Is this not to say the mere seed or dream of a life is not the worth of its realized potential? The disturbing reality shift that is under way is the conditions for questioning and challenging everything we think we are or know. But you still have to want sanity more than you want (to make a living out of) repackaged confusion.

Invalidating a greater perspective
"Is a viewpoint valid, if someone believes in an adult version of Father Christmas?"
I met this comment as a gesture of refusal to even begin to consider anything apparently religious to have any viewpoint to consider or learn from - apart from reinforcing a self-righteousness of superiority in one's own terms.

Your viewpoint has a validity in that you are no more or less valid than any other human being. That doesn't mean your viewpoint is true, but it means that you are not invalidated by that you are using something and making it true for you at some level.
If you felt the symbol of giving is useful to its reality, you might not need the symbol to do more than work as a focus for intention attention.
If you were to be open to that quality of existence that is a presence and a gift, it may dawn on you in all sorts of ways as a result.
What life is, is something that comes through us and shares itself to then reflects to us.
The symbol of getting is one that takes forms of meaning out of context and redefines to a self-defined context so as to replace art of living with artifice.
So if I said that I still believed in Santa, the fact that I believed it is valid, but not the belief.

Extraterrestrial life
Articles on E.T Life that make the news tend to be those that fit comfortably with the scientific paradigm and anything more specific that doesn't arrive as microbes, fossils or distant radio waves is too risk to be seen to be associated with and still have a 'reputation'. So I looked at a tag for extraterrestrials when Google had an article on scientists begging for a million pounds to fund ET searching, to see what else flagged up. Not a lot. Not such as THIS fairly recent event featuring many credible participants - including a Canadian defence minister
But I looked at this page - (Are we alone? Athens State speaker to discuss evidence of extraterrestrial life) - that had a poll:
The vote suggests that life comes from
worlds. I cant vote for that! All life is an expression of Infinite
Intelligence (for lack of better words).
Human consciousness - AS ASSERTED - is based on - AS IF - we are separate from Life - as a self existing orphaned or random entity. We are not alone, but All One. When we step outside the fences we use to differentiate our mind from our experience, we will re integrate to the MORE of what we truly are. The limitations of our thinking give us the experience of the 'Universe out there', which our current science looks to, in order to solve the riddle of its own existence. Truth is NOT 'out there', but our perception and experience is a valid reflector of the active 'background' processes that are most intimate to our sense of identity and our identifications and definitions of our world, and each other.
The infinite expression of Creation is a whole or unified extension of Mind or 'God'. There is no separation except in thought - that is, there is no 'self' alone and apart and mysteriously possessing powers of autonomous control - though you might say it has a virtual reality in the focus of your attention.
Aliens are others are un-recognized brothers. For Life being the Source of all - we cannot NOT be family. But this is no less true within our own local world - in which we have tended to act out not from the felt quality of communion - but from the assertions and validations of specialness that focus almost exclusively on difference amidst a mentality that operates by divide and rule. We call THAT intelligence - but it is a distortion of coercion and attempt to control.
Just as family dynamics express needs that we each are invited to work out with each other, so with Earth Consciousness and some other Intelligent species. The key is integration - the lock that seems to deny is the urge of control. What we attract is simply reflecting where we are coming from. However, modern man sleeps on the surface of his mind and thinks his self-justifications are real - but beneath the trance are suggestions that are our own limiting conditioning - along with those who take advantage of our suggestibility. Search for Bashar if you are willing to listen to the communication of an 'Alien' who is in many ways Our Future. We are always free to disbelieve - or else the Universe would be coercive upon us - and this can not be so - because of That which truly Lives us - even if we hardly recognize Life in our busy distracted and self absorbed reactivity!

Power over Life? (Antibiotics are becoming ineffective)
This is one facet of a surge in our apparent capabilities which has fuelled a blind and overreaching arrogance, the pride that comes before the fall.
In computer games - which I met briefly when my kids were young - the character one plays through can uncover a temporary invulnerability - and hence passed unharmed through what otherwise would be hazardous. This so very easily resulted in the 'death' of one's character the instant the effect wore off!
Our scientific advances have in some measure enabled us to live in disregard of what Life truly is - to indulge our own vanities while unconscious of the actuality beneath our personal and cultural definitions.
In ignorance we feed back a sense of OUR power - or at least the power to use science to manually manage, as forceful manipulation upon everything about life that it can 'improve' to fit into its own current thinking of how life should be.
Science does not encompass or embody wisdom - only risk assessment, and it is rarely used wisely by human beings who are largely confused within their own ego sense so as to be self and other destructive. Depleting our Commonwealth and unaware of the true nature of health and well-being.
In concert with the disappearing magic wand of antibiotics is the finitude of fossil fuel, the finitude of phosphates for agriculture and an enormous and increasing demand to mine and use up non renewable resources - which are part of the cost of everything and so are dividing the haves from the have nots even at the level of basic needs.
The scientific mind is a specialised tool and worthy of appropriate tasks - but it is not seeing a unified picture and it is not free of dependency on vested interests that express not only a desire to retain power but outpicture the mentality of a managed and controlled 'reality' rather than a truly communicated presence.
Why is the media drip drip dripping the poison of scare and fear and calamity - along with a flood of trivia and distraction? Surely there is a mood of fear inherent in the desire to control Life. It may not seem so for we present our masks of justification to ourselves and each other. But the only ones who don't know what is going on are those who are so seduced by their own theories that they actually believe them regardless of reality.
Scaremongering can work in timely ways to herd others where you want them to go, but a pervasive mood of fear and distrust is poisonous to our wellbeing.
Ultimately is will - and is - going to cause many to withdraw allegiance to so called authorities or news sources - or even their own conditioned thinking - and listen and feel in a fresh desire for a foundation from which to live - not a managed existence - but a shared be-ing.
There is a hollowness that hides in 'good causes'. There is a great crusade in 'making sure xyz will never happen again', but it will, in one form or another, over and over again, until there is a fundamental waking of responsibility for what we think.
All cultures embody and express the ideas upon which they are founded. It isn't that we need more or better thinking - but that we need to put our thinking down and listen and observe in all humility and honesty to reconnect with Life - not in beliefs, symbols or theories - but Feel the Life.
When people cant Feel their own Life they are in the grip of reactive thinking. I write these things to the underpinnings of our human problems - but it is like trying to get the attention of people who are engaged in a fight. They just are not interested, while the fight is ON - unless of course you are offering super powers, magic pills and tactical advantage.
Life Heals. This is its INNATE movement. Human consciousness imposes itself upon Life as a distorting and interrupting filter. That is a conditioned action/reaction. When apparent power OVER Life is withdrawn or rendered useless there are two apparent options; acceptance or denial. Denial will seek magical protection by whatever means so as to maintain its private sense of 'separated power over', while acceptance releases the wish to 'Lord it' - and yields into a Felt Relationship with Life in which it extends and share the Life that is its own true Inheritance.
We cannot and do not by our own power exist, not a thought or any experience of anything can occur but that the gift of life is Presence-ing Itself right where you may think whatever you like and believe these thoughts your own.
I feel the failure and breakdown is an inherent part of uncovering what we do not want to know. What we greatly fear - and so try to 'discover' out in the world within a context of division and rule.
Death and disease are like terrorists. The more one wars on them the more there are and the more we become them.
A true culture of support first opens to the Feeling of Life and shares that in whatever practical ways are available - including the administering of drugs where these are serving the felt need of the situation and not the mere convenience or insulated unconsciousness of those who minister. Pain and conflict are ugly, hateful and hard to live with and come through.Where there is willingness to come through it calls for joining with. If we don't hold this in our culture, we become machines with a 'controlling avatar' front end.
I read today on another page of Facebook deletion phobia. Death is not what it seems to a mind engaged in its own thinking. There is Life beyond the social/personal ego sense. Now, now and always now. I have lost my own daughter and know directly the scouring of grief. But I also know what it is to truly be love - and let guilt and fear be released of its unconscious foundational role of guide and protector. A scratch can suddenly reveal the source of terror - but only if the surface is used to hide from Life. It is what we hide from that we are afraid - not what we face in light.
Thanks for your attention. What we do with our attention attests to what we value and give reality to. There is a great truth in that but only if we awaken to use it.

The mind in its story : Mind revealed in Story
The mind in story is a mind both based upon, and conditioned or programmed by, an active and many layered process of definition and interpretation.
Insofar as it is engaged in exclusively identifying with an identity within its virtual narrative, it is unconscious or unaware of the wishes and desires that constitute the virtual narrative and seeks to prevail, over a sense of chaotic threat to its own existence. It thus identifies over and against that which it cannot control by identifying with a desire TO control.
Perceived reality and thus behavioural response to it, is thus a contest of determinations and definitions that establish a broad range of mutual agreements established in tacit collaboration towards maintaining the narrative of an independent definer and determiner of its own reality.
Thus mind seems to make its own reality, and validate it by apparently sharing it through a process of mutual persuasions, agreements and collaborations, excepting the alliances of such intent do not truly share more than a partial aspect of their minds in highly conditional terms of alliance. For in the onset of threat as a result of conditions not being met, the status and validity of the other, shifts to be redefined in hateful or self rejecting terms.
But actually mind makes its own experience of reality as a result of setting up a sense of conflict within Mind - that is - within the undefined and undefinable, felt quality, of an indivisible self awareness. Whatever such pure awareness is, remains the undefinable true context of every experience, directly known or interpretively imagined via a derivative and conditional experience of self-limitation.
The narrative sense of mind in process of becoming in time and space is like an overlay of images and meanings upon an omni-projecting light, such that, instead of recognising our nature in our thought, we identify with a false reflection and feel trapped within our own thought without recognizing our thought. For the true nature of mind is hidden to the desire that would make itself lord rather than express true authority. Self-making denies true authorship in which one recognizes one nature or light in all - (and in all its infinite expression)

Not because This was in any way less, but because I thought to write a short reference linking to a longer article here - but the short reference flowed to be its own article. This, though similar, still makes points that felt worthy of reflection and so I also include it here. The mind is not going to understand its way to realization, but it can understand why it cannot understand! Essentially it cannot stand apart as if outside and separate to all that it conceives and perceives. It can however, generate such an experience and believe it, and does so by believing it. Investment of attention is desire, and to give attention is to extend your presence. But to give the gift of you to what is not true is to place images upon the heart and make false association. The gift of you is the basis upon which you know that you are - as you are. But the giving and receiving of what cannot be truly shared is the way of believing that you are - as you are not! To rest in the moment and allow an intimacy of being, restores the mind to its true function - as the beholding and recognizing of You. At first this might not seem You - but Being or Spirit or God or the Buddha-Nature - or whatever cultural symbol serves your own acceptance. The important thing is allowing the sense of being in and of - without recoiling or controlling or interfering. This is an extension of trust - and that is the realignment of mind in Mind - or a coming back into our right mind - which is entirely capable of holding your current local or limited sense as one with your Universal Source and Nature, and bringing it to a true appreciation of life, as we are willing to receive it.

Uncovering the living context beneath the narrative sense of being allows a reintegration of that which seemed lost or disconnected and thus of its perception or experience of being alive. The mind-in-story operates as a device through which we have an experience of self limitation within which, identifying with the mechanism, as oneself, engages a virtual or distorted and fragmented rendering of being.
This, in narrative terms is where a Singularity seemed to become a duality, from a movement of expansion and contraction - and subsequent fragmentation - or to put it the other way, where a mind seems to come into a separated sense of its own existence, upon the death or loss of unified and undefined being as a direct consequence of the wish and exercise of power over. The experience of self division gives rise to the attempt to rule. The split nature of the mind is such that guilt and fear arise as protecting and controlling devices relative to the ongoing wish for power. The imposition of a narrative sense upon what is native lawful and unified, becomes an unconsciousness, because truth that is simple awareness at rest in its own nature, MUST be denied or reinterpreted as to be rendered either unrecognizable - or in terms that validate what is essentially wishful thinking, but identified as one's self in guilt, fear and confusion.
This leads to an upside down or inside out scenario in which guilt and fear of power become the mechanism of believed power; the power to kill Life or Mind - yet also the power by which to prevail - albeit temporarily - as a separate mind in its own private experience.
The essentials of drama are all provided, the bid for power, the betrayal or abandonment, the loss and the suffering, the attempt to regain or the will to revenge - the sacrificial horror of the killing of the innocent - the watering of the roots of guilt. The righteous identity that needs evil or guilt in order to self-validate over and against.
This drama re-enacts itself unending until something stirs beneath the mind that thinks it is as it thinks it is. Honesty is not bases on narrative, but on a direct awareness - as a discernment occurring outside the realm of apparent control. We yield to it - or yield our own will in order to discern, to the degree our mind is able to accept - and this depends on its current investment in its own story as its self.
There is a process by which to heal the mind of unconscious divisions that play out over and over as 'the human condition', but it is not the exercise of a personal will prevailing over others in assertion of power. Nor of depersonalising this will in mechanisms of state or indeed of applying mechanical models for controlling mechanical process. Indeed there IS no mechanical way to relate, communicate, listen and discern and recognize wisdom. Yet in some sense we do so - DESPITE the imposition of such a mechanical process. Life still happens DESPITE our best attempts to control or have power over it. No one but has some sense of true blessing in their lives, however dark or difficult.
How much MORE can be revealed to our appreciation if we desisted from persisting in what doesn't work in the insane attempt to make it work?
We do need a new narrative basis for what life is, what we are and how to live together in law that serves all - and thus finds welcome in the hearts of all. But I do not see that this can arise from the persistence of a blindness to the true nature of our own 'identity' or mind. "Truth will 'out" because the lie becomes too convoluted and untenable to maintain. What I would say is that truth may humiliate - but that is not true. We are humbled of our self-image and thus open to see and recognize ourselves in others.
But Truth is not humbled or made small - for it is the light in which we live and of which we truly are. Unless we abide in a truly connected sense of being, we get lost in our own story and defend it against our truth. All of the abilities by which we try to control life become useful to a willingness to embody life. It is simply evident that the mind is deeply habituated to an addiction to its own story.
I am indicating the basis for awakening to a basis for a unified direction, regardless of what others may yet be willing to allow or accept as their own learning. The only certainty available to us is of our being itself. That this is brought into question sets the stage for self-certainties of belief or assertions of power.
But when our beliefs of self-assertion are released or paused in even a little true willingness, we receive in place a clearer perspective. This is a step at a time undoing or reconfiguring of the mind to a true alignment. We don't 'do' this but let it be done through us as we release identity in reaction.
When discerning the correction for behaviour that is harmful to oneself or others, we do need a process of correction and not a process of guilt and punishment. Correction is the process of coming into our right mind. This needs to apply to all involved and not focussed only on the one who is identified in the role of transgressor. It is appropriate to limit lawlessness by whatever means is proportionate. But the old 'law' of revenge is the worship of sin amidst a luxuriating in blame, in full justification for hate and the indulgence of the sense of power in personal terms.
As long as we appease the mind of war, we can have no peace - but only a phony and manipulated peace that lives in fear and distrust amidst an isolated and chaotic sense of threat. This may serve those who claim to offer protection, at a price, but actually undermines a true integrity of being. Yet the Integrity of Being itself - which is innate to being - remains un-coverable to a willingness and desire to live from it.
Guilt and fear present the most blocking device for the prevention of trusting and following an innocent curiosity. Truth is not truly obscured, but only wilfully so. Therefore to be curious allows the noticing of the wilful intent - and thus the opportunity to release it in favour of what is uncovered in the wisdom of our being - in place of an often unconscious fearful reaction. This is simply a conscious responsibility for our own mind that is a capacity for immediate discernment and release of an unreal or imaginative thought or intent, without requiring a process of mental self-validation. In effect to reconnect with a true sense of being is the condition in which all else will harmonize.
But the seeking out of guilt will ALWAYS find it - even if it only exists in the mind of the inquisitor. What we seek we ALWAYS find, and what we are finding is reliable witness to what we seek. The experience of finding conflicted and unfulfilling outcomes IS a reflection of conflicting goals. Until we wake up to what we are choosing to give and receive, we will not recognize what we do, and so are in need of forgiveness for an error of mis-identification from which confusion must proceed.
The alternative is the reinforcement of such an error in the minds of both the judging and the judged. There is nothing ultimately fixed or locked down about our mind apart from our own decision - which as an expression of mind is innately unlimited. Resting in such being allows a different basis for outcomes than an 'isolated chooser' amidst an obstacle course of fearful penalties.

We are humbled of our self-image and thus open to see and recognize ourselves in others.
But Truth is not humbled or made small - for it is the light in which we live and of which we truly are. Unless we abide in a truly connected sense of being, we get lost in our own story and defend it against our truth. All of the abilities by which we try to control life become useful to a willingness to embody life. It is simply evident that the mind is deeply habituated to an addiction to its own story.
I am indicating the basis for awakening to a basis for a unified direction, regardless of what others may yet be willing to allow or accept as their own learning. The only certainty available to us is of our being itself. That this is brought into question sets the stage for self-certainties of belief or assertions of power.
But when our beliefs of self-assertion are released or paused in even a little true willingness, we receive in place a clearer perspective. This is a step at a time undoing or reconfiguring of the mind to a true alignment. We don't 'do' this but let it be done through us as we release identity in reaction.
When discerning the correction for behaviour that is harmful to oneself or others, we do need a process of correction and not a process of guilt and punishment. Correction is the process of coming into our right mind. This needs to apply to all involved and not focussed only on the one who is identified in the role of transgressor. It is appropriate to limit lawlessness by whatever means is proportionate. But the old 'law' of revenge is the worship of sin amidst a luxuriating in blame, in full justification for hate and the indulgence of the sense of power in personal terms.
As long as we appease the mind of war, we can have no peace - but only a phony and manipulated peace that lives in fear and distrust amidst an isolated and chaotic sense of threat. This may serve those who claim to offer protection, at a price, but actually undermines a true integrity of being. Yet the Integrity of Being itself - which is innate to being - remains un-coverable to a willingness and desire to live from it.
Guilt and fear present the most blocking device for the prevention of trusting and following an innocent curiosity. Truth is not truly obscured, but only wilfully so. Therefore to be curious allows the noticing of the wilful intent - and thus the opportunity to release it in favour of what is uncovered in the wisdom of our being - in place of an often unconscious fearful reaction. This is simply a conscious responsibility for our own mind that is a capacity for immediate discernment and release of an unreal or imaginative thought or intent, without requiring a process of mental self-validation. In effect to reconnect with a true sense of being is the condition in which all else will harmonize.
But the seeking out of guilt will ALWAYS find it - even if it only exists in the mind of the inquisitor. What we seek we ALWAYS find, and what we are finding is reliable witness to what we seek. The experience of finding conflicted and unfulfilling outcomes IS a reflection of conflicting goals. Until we wake up to what we are choosing to give and receive, we will not recognize what we do, and so are in need of forgiveness for an error of mis-identification from which confusion must proceed.
The alternative is the reinforcement of such an error in the minds of both the judging and the judged. There is nothing ultimately fixed or locked down about our mind apart from our own decision - which as an expression of mind is innately unlimited. Resting in such being allows a different basis for outcomes than an 'isolated chooser' amidst an obstacle course of fearful penalties.

Jumping into Life

On a personal level, Wioletta Roslan died in the course of doing things she enjoyed - knowing that there were risks. We all pitch our lives at a level of risk and then take the life we get as our measure. It is easy to see the risk of a parachute jump. Less easy to see the risks of a mentality of security that suffocates the spirit and limits everything to a managed grey - even with many shades of it.
Going for the thrill is one of the threads of a human consciousness and it expresses in all sorts of ways through every walk of life at one level or another - and increasing in pseudo experience of film and game playing.
"I feel alive when I jump. I find normal life boring," Miss Roslan said.
This is very telling. We are born as beings of Wonder, but the light that is our in our presence and nature is increasingly covered over by a defined sense of self and world. The sense of self that we grow tends to be heavily masked by the persona that becomes our identity and our strategy of coping and communicating in life - as we each see it, from our particular personal and cultural perspective.
Many of us at some stage in life come to realize we are not - never have been - the mask - but are a real presence that is beneath the radar of the world and generally kept under a bushel - except in special circumstances.
For it is only when we 'take the jump' of living out from our heart's knowing, that we experience the world differently. Rather than make this an addiction to a particular form - as if to self-stimulate, I would bring this insight into whatever apparent situation I am in. A culture of a 'control' mentality blots out the light and joy in life - as well as the inspiration and promise of all that comes forth from sharing it.
The thinking that sees life before death as a short moment to exploit for our self alone until the 'sun goes down' is common. But untrue. Because we are not our self alone, but an Expression of Life Itself. This is something that can awaken from beneath any mask, because what we make ourselves, doesnt actually create or change the truth of what we are. There is Something Eternal that we have forgotten that has not forgotten us - or we could not Be.
I sense that this knowing is part of a capacity to take the jump into human experience at all. It is as scary and dark a rollercoaster ride as you can imagine.
But regardless of our mutual definitions or agreements - and the hopes and disappointments these create in our experience; we ARE love's sharing. So much more than our surface mind realizes.
If it is time to go - then a transition occurs. Our True Safety is in Remembering who we truly Are, which is never absent from any truly shared relationship. Wioletta has her own reasons and lessons, and our views reflect ours and not hers.
There are many things that are equivalent to a parachute not opening. Things that become invisible to us while they are just there, or just work. Until they don't. Gratitude opens appreciation in Wonder!

We dont have to get sick as we get older (Guardian article)
I suggest that a rigidity of mind creates a pattern or form of limitation that becomes an identification held against the actual open and universal nature of Mind or awareness Itself.
We get set. We get stuck in the mask of our own personna. We humanly create all too easily, a stubborn lonely secret life behind a veil of unwillingness to love or relate directly. Instead we 'relate' through ritual forms of association. We become driven by externalised demands that we believe and fear we must obey to maintain a sense of validity and acceptability in the eyes of (significant to us) others. We are pervasively insecure and sense life as a fragility amidst hostility.
Death is built into the program at the outset of a separating identity - for how can we live out a private mind but that God (or the Lght of our being) is shut out?
But there is another purpose through a born existance than exploitation and mere survival. To prolong such error is hardly an extension of Life - but is a stretching out the avoidance of the inevitable - and that is not living - but a desperation of a will set against life - "I want it thus!".

We can easily see that there is a journey of self awareness in a human life - but it is cut way short of its fulfilment by being stuck in postures of irresponsibility. In a childish getting for oneself or in getting a sense of independant identity by reacting against the perceived or projected ‘parent’ or authority.
The real Life that you really and truly are - is squelched or obscured by this whole process - by which you starve yourself to death in self depriving patterns that reinforce a false or private sense of self-lack. But life is not 'given to you' alone to keep and direct for your mere private gain - (even if that is to achieve merit for selfless action). Life is a Gift - and that Gift is eternally Given - in other words Life Is. Because we humanly subscribe to a sense of life in terms of our self made definitions - we are locked into form - but to release these definitions is to regain an innocent perception. Forgiveness. From such an awakened perspective we rest in the Identity of Being and discover an innate recognition and oneness with life that is truly Inclusive - even though we also walk and talk and work and play in form based relationship.
Health in its true appreciation, has a radiant and giving sense, of freedom to be all that you truly are - and allow its expression. This is ‘spiritual’ life and has nothing inherently to do with whatever belief system(s) served to awaken and free the spirit from a false life.
So to be willing to question the unquestionable may open the door to a greater discovery than we otherwise allow in. But to perpetuate the same sense of self as if _that_ is life is to invite the suppressed and excluded energies of a locked-down-life to break one’s peace in every kind of nightmarish scenario.
But that in turn causes us to reevaluate all that we thought we knew. A true responsibility for our own mind is inevitable - whether we seem to die once - or over and over and over again in attempts to avoid the Intimacy of Being in which we fear the very judgement or exclusion by which we have ourselves 'lived'.
Our use of the mind is largely spent in ways that do not see and share and appreciate the joy and beauty and wonder of life. This is a threshhold of discovery and not an opportunity to further exploit life.
I include myself in a sense of human liability - just as I include you in a sense of Divinity - of a heart-felt awareness welling up ever anew - regardless of the dramas played out on the surface.
Eternal is not the same as everlasting time - it is before - beyond and yet pervading time. I invite you to eternal life - not as a act of will - but as an act of willingness to step off of the map of control - and serve under the direction of the Heart.
This is not about a presumed destination - but of a truly connected appreciation of 'starting place'. Thought itself has to be reevaluated - for it creates our experience whether we realize it or not. Recognising this comes only of the willingness to receive, in silence, the Movement of Life or Spirit.

Grief - 2
It is common for another to say they are sorry for our suffering even when it is not any of their doing. Offering a 'touch' to a sense of one we perceive as hurt. I welcome the touch. I feel the hurt - but I don't seek to soothe it - but rather allow it to rest in me as one with my love. And as such it isn't hurt.
One of the things that came up strong in me while in grief was how others projected their stuff onto me and then acted out their fantasy on me - with expectations that I fit their needs.
Whilst it was easy if I paused, to understand the self defence mechanism at work I none the less felt at times outraged or completely unrelated with. In the former is my unmet desire or need for love - albeit in terms I can accept and understand - and in the latter is a true insight into the surface meaninglessness of much of what passes as currency as human relationship.
We are so unseen in this life - but then are we not ourselves likewise so often too 'busy' to notice and discern each other - until suddenly we cant find each other! We deprive ourselves of love.
I don't believe love is involved in struggle - but when we calm of our preoccupation in struggle, love's nature rises of itself - as the simple truth. And eventually we accept and align with the simple truth rather than fight with reality. At least to find the next step.
But all of us together - humanly - try to 'make a self' in a world that does not and can not last - and do so in ignorance of the love that we are. Searching for our own meanings in shifting and conflicting conditions.
When love finds its name written in our hearts - we begin to look out upon a different world - from a fresh perspective. Love’s loss - lived humanly - re opened me to love - because it is the loss that I would lose and the love that I will cleave to.
There is much confusion in the human heart to be healed and this can only come one willing step at a time. We generally don't like living in or through the territory of raw exposure and seek to cover it with a regained sense of self.
It took me three years or so before I freely came to a sense of willingness to move on. Until I felt it, I trusted myself to be as I was moved to be. I also lost my marriage at the same time. I knew it in my heart - but couldn't let that come out - that took many years of pain and in many ways is a kind of grief that is hard to speak of - losing a beloved one while they are alive.
I wore myself out going round and round the same thoughts, over and over. Seeking love where it was not.
I sense somewhere that that was the point - for me to live this and be changed by having lived so.
All things are known in silence. A fullness that cannot be found from within the noise.
I don't say this as any kind of answer - but simply as a possible direction.
To live each day - to live this day - from even a little willingness for the heart’s blessing to abide and share.
When we neglect or forget to love, we starve ourselves of life.
