Fear, the Other, and Escalation of Conflict

"FBI Director James Comey on Monday defended his agency's position that too-tough-to-crack encryption poses a threat to national security, arguing that terrorists are increasingly using the technology to lock out law enforcement and coordinate attacks".

It passes through my mind that the general belief and perception that proprietary technologies are 'secure' is what is needed for the tech sector to be able to sell them. Just as the perception of stability is part of the markets game. In fact so called leaders or the puppet-masters behind them are giving more energy and attention to managing and manipulating perception than they are to actually connecting wirth reality - excepting within the scope of their own spin -  such as embodying the phrase "unless you force them to".
On the other hand, the attempt to manage 'reality' albeit at perceptual level is a hugely complex and taxing - indeed exhausting - enterprise. So much so that the disguises are peeling away and the underlying psychology revealed in raw sight. I believe that THIS raw dump of fear and guilt is what human consciousness has - in a sense demanded protection from.
Caught up (identified) in the role and character of 'protector' or 'saviour', and drifting into self-justifications that protect against ANY other way of looking at or even approaching the core issues involved, the programmed robot brings on its own destruction whilst believing it approaches victory.
The key to the false identity in fear is in my opening paragraph. One only has to conceive and believe in a threat to erect a defence against it - and that defence then propagates and persists the very thing it was supposed to defend FROM as perception of threat. This then withholds the essential basis of trust and communication by communicating itself as a strategic presentation -  indeed a mask of communication  - in the guise of some currency of mutual acceptability or justification.
The mutual projection of fears onto each other results in fearing, hating and fighting the other - as if to resolve or expel a split within one's own consciousness that is designed to hide itself within the desire to SEE it in the 'other'. In the one who is no longer recognized as sharing Life and the qualities of Human existence - but is put down to raise one's own perceived status 'up' - or indeed set up to be exploited and then put down when stripped of value. In this perception, one has lost sight of one's innate or true worth and is struggling to make an identity of relative worth with the materials and resources to hand - the first of which is judgement.
Judgement fixes and locks down perception in meanings that are always loveless - even if couched in terms of caring or kindness. And so it almost always results in a reflection of defence, opposition and adversity.
Investing in an identity of one's own making - that is - the achievement of adapting to a loveless existence and actually believing it is true power and presence - when in fact it is an assertion of a defence against one's primary fear-conditioning - becomes the currency of mutually agreed self-definition that for the most part operates tacitly - because we almost all of us - most of the time operate from such defended reaction as normal. But that does not make it natural.
Our nature is an 'Is' but our personality structure is a 'does' or an act that requires the constant vigilance, maintenance and defence of a continuity manager or else the true nature will restore because it is the actuality and wholeness that is present - but denied awareness and attention by a split off sense of self that no longer trusts or recognizes its true Self - being fitted to the fears and demands of its world.
The devices by which such self-imaged identity is maintained include every kind of obfuscation, diversion, dissociation and denial. For YOU are empowering such defence in belief that the thoughts , beliefs and perceptions of threat are fixed, real and demanding of immediate response - indeed automatic reaction.
The projection of the 'shadow self' is different for each of us and yet the same in its fundamental function of seeming to split us off from a truly FELT Sense of Life, Presence and Communication - and thus scrabbling and struggling for power OVER what seems to be a chaos outside of us.
Safety is an inside job. Regardless the circumstances - this is so. Nothing external will actually bring a sense of safety to one who is divided, unsettled or disturbed in themselves. Problems always expand to fill the space available. There is no end to them.
To feel safety is actually the undefended relationship to one's own true Source Nature - which paradoxically can know such safety through the course of a crash, a fracas or an otherwise challenging situation, without self-conscious reflex to attend one's own needs because they are integral to serving the need of the whole situation.
So what we call self-worth is a cover over a sense of inadequacy by which we feel specially invalid in some way, and what we call safety is a temporary sense of security that by definition does not abide or last - and so like an addiction must be forever attended to.
In American movies the corny line of promising safety is almost a signature trait. The promise of safety is not in the world, but in the Spirit or true Consciousness that  is all that is presencing Itself right where you Are, regardless of any challenges arising to you in your experience of what is here and now, or indeed from your recollections or anticipations of what is otherwise NOT here now.
What else do the movies offer? The bad guys and the protagonist or central characters - who regardless their faults are the good guys.
This kind of thinking is mythological. The device of seeing what is wrong with everyone else and the meeting with that which is in some sense coming to get you  - because it is part of you unrecognized and wants to be released, not rejected.
As long as the investment is in the war-minded personae script, nothing of the consciousness responsibility can come through. For if anything does, it is only allowed so as to make a better image or a better armour or a better weapon. This world can be easily seen. I invite you to shift perspective and see an entirely different world - even if the forms are at first the same.
Railing at 'bastards' and loving to join in hating scapegoats is exactly what perpetuates war-mindedness in which offensive or pre-emptive defence is seen as totally justified - and collateral damage unavoidable. Stop acting like prey. Stop acting like potential predators. Find another way. Address the issues with more honesty than the personal investment would otherwise allow. It is after all, up to you  and not your employed 'defender'.


Oh and of course the idea of enemies of ANY kind having a secret means to operate 'behind your back' and under your radar - is acutely fearful to our 'protectors' - as is their ability to do so to any of us for any reason any of them decide is justified, without due accountability for some blanket cover of "National Security". They are priming the pump of fear by persisting in such unscrupulous acts as have been revealed and found to be their normal fusion of corporate and national interest - though those on the inside know it is not the nation that is being protected, but the growth that it hosts. Until its assets are stripped and it is discarded for another host - for which strategy is already in play - for their investments demand it. The term intifada means a 'shaking off'. This must be primarily an extension of Presence that communicates itself wordlessly. The fearful seek to dehumanise and then manipulate and exploit. Meet the fearful, not the 'powerful'. Find your true Roots - not in the past - but in living presence. You are still here hiding your light because the world was not safe enough to be your true self . Well its hard to see anything in the dark except fear's imaginings.

I don't feel to engage with all your various points many of which I resonate with, but to observe in an individual's life, that crisis are often generated from denied fears such as to eventually force some degree of integration and transformation. This is a Collective Lifetime - indeed an epoch ending. A Big Shift. Or maybe a Big Extinction. Perhaps we each choose every thought, moment, minute and day the world we wake as living - and the idea of the One Objective Reality is simply a good backdrop for the particular kind of play we have obviously agreed to set up together - or we would be playing something else.

The blindly despotic may think they are forcing their agenda - but Life always has other plans - and uses everything that is available in our consciousness to serve towards an integrative resolution for each perspective and all of them together. No one has to listen, but there are increasing inducements to do so.

Someone I forgot said "If it weren't for the last minute, nothing would get done". Between a rock and a hard place, an expansion of perspective is the only out. Indeed it can show everything in a new light without having to change. And then one can choose what one prefers without the dilemma of the split mind in negative charge and attempted defence. Death also opens perspective - bit that is not what I was suggesting - though in some sense transformation is inherent to all that is invested and identified within the world of change.

If State paranoia is going to figure my exit and not a bear or a bus or a burst blood vessel - then let it be whatever it will be. Right now I am interested in wholeness of being - for in that is a freedom I cherish and embrace and enjoy anyway.... any way I can imagine or uncover in my experience of relationship called 'now'. I am not driven or attracted to hate. I have uncovered it within myself enough to see why human beings needed to project it away to 'survive', but I am finding a willingness rather than reinforcing and propagating a wilfulness. But this is not an imposed set of ideas so much as learning by living.

The need to know opens resources that otherwise are simply not available. If you exceed your remit you will meet a 'permission denied' in one way or another and have fun with a bear... I bet you find Phil Zimmerman is focussing in what he believes is legitimate rather than in what he hates - or he couldn't embody the pathway he is in a sense sharing by loving what he does.

The issues of communication, privacy, integrity and trust are coming up in BOLD as an increasing dysfunctionality from which we can learn. I read this article and many of the comments at Ars Technica - and posted the following:


The focusing upon and operating within, a coercive mind-set, runs as a segregative reality experience in which communication is filtered and distorted so as to mask weapon or phishing intent of coercive private agenda and corresponding development of defences in the evolution of the founding idea.

But beneath all appearances communication is still true or actually there to be uncovered and discerned.

Listening receptivity of an uncoercive mindset - a mind you neither create nor interfere with, via the mental overlay of personality conditioned reactions, is a SHIFT of focus, at a foundational level.

Focusing upon and within the flow of true communication has no need to pry or snoop in order to know what one needs to know when one needs to know it, Indeed to be coercive upon the flow of communication that IS Life, is to limit oneself to a fearful victim mentality as a reflection of one's own desire given acceptance and belief.

There is a way to listen and act within the flow of relationship as fluidly 'defined' by joy.
The belief in sacrificing joy's true knowing for the 'power' of fear is a false 'god' by which we become at war with ourself - or rather, identified reactively within our own conflicted self-definition.

This seemingly chaotic outcome, activates and seems to demand and compel the command and control mentality to subvert and usurp all natural functions - for it is war upon Life in the name of a separateness of segregated or separated 'life' called "me and mine" - in an exclusive and other-denying sense.
Living in such survival mode psychologically has become a second nature of a conditioned protection racket. This is becoming increasing obvious in our world-experience.

Fear defines 'relationships' as a means to an end because fear cannot SEE that which it interferes with.
Embracing one's relationship with everything and everyone as the living CONTEXT in which our true self is restored to our awareness, inherently de-conditions the mind of pretending it can ACTUALLY exist apart from or outside relationship itself. Such self-illusion cannot 'survive' because it never lived - but one can WISH it true and give it the Life you truly are.

If you followed the gist of this you may sense that our first and only true freedom is of what we accept true of ourself - for everything else follows on from that as a matter of course.
The WORD we each give and receive is the fundamental definition of worth and value in this and any moment. The game of conflict draws the crowd to the arena and the attention feeds the combatants. It is all a matter of choice - but at a level we have trained ourselves collectively to disregard and deny in order to ENJOY the game. When a game loses or is recognized to be joyless - or meaningless - or insane - then the call is to waken to choose differently - in line with you you know yourself to be - now that you have had such a clear experience of who you are not.

Where we are coming from - in any moment - in any movement - IS our responsibility to check in and verify - or else we give our power away to be harnessed in bot-nets of rogue agendas that lose any pretence of connection with anything worthy, sound or sane.

Integrity and trust ARE communication, accept nothing else at face value. The hunger for power speaks of a deeper powerlessness trying to act itself out in the world. The problem is not firstly IN the world and so it will never be healed or answered there. The problem is a faulty self-definition. A failure or breakdown of communication that calls for realignment within integrity - reintegration.

Privacy is a gift of love. Not a right of fear. Communication is what war is designed to disrupt, limit and control. There are many ways of saying 'No' that are honest, direct and open to genuine communication from another. Force is not inherently coercive. A true defence embodies true values. Believing our own spin turns everything to lies - in which anything is what you say it is even if you don't believe it so.

Be true to yourself, all the rest must follow on - but be aware that ID phishing goes right back the the Apple!

Keeping Up with the Snoops 6: A Game of Chairs

The article purports to be serious and then brings in the tin foil hat (link doesn't work for me). The tin foil hat has a place for imaginary threats taken seriously - but has been misused as an invalidator to the uncovering of clear evidence of a lack of integrity and of corruption of service, duty or office. As coercion usurps communication and the lie usurps truth it becomes clear there are 'moneylenders' in the template. Those who would intervene between you and your true Life in order to have power over others for themselves alone.

This template definition is ubiquitous as a contagion of fear in personal and collective consciousness (culture) which operates a 'botnet' of directed perceived reality and hence our reaction.

I recommend clearing out corruption in our own thinking templates - our own self-definition and core self-beliefs, so as to regain consciousness of true choice and indeed to live such life as consciousness responsibility rather than as a conditioned persona.

PS: have since watched the linked video at the foot of the article. When is satire part of the infotainment industry? When one focusses on being distracted and entertained rather than engaging in bringing attention present to a true honesty? 

Is paranoia itself a 'back door access' for fear's agenda?

An article on naturalnews.com asserts that:

May I use the article to reflect that your own 'thinking' is an example of a 'back door' violation of integrity?

While your consciousness is compromised by the hacks of a manipulative and fearful suggestion, it runs the agenda of others whilst believing itself 'free'.

Phishing (identity theft) and spambots (infected networking of fear and guilt-driven thought), did begin with the 'apple' in the symbolic myth of the Garden - but I tell you the Tree of Life is not gone away - but is your true inheritance.

A willingness to 'come clean' or OWN your own fear or guilt thinking so as NOT to let IT USE YOU in exchange for a virtual existence in a sense of power that wears you out and abandons you.

There is an ongoing balance to be struck between facilitating communication and blocking or withholding such data from illegitimate access or violation.

The issues of integrity (of a system) and of trust (authentic communication and identification) are primarily within our Consciousness. The nature of our dilemma reveals our split mind. You cant have it both ways!

Systems that embody integrity will arise out of integrity shared, but systems that seek to operate coercion in the form of an integrity (such as our current financial, healthcare, defence or security systems), evolve designs of extraordinary complexity and obfuscation such as to stifle Life Functionality and operate as the herders of the herded - or indeed the culled.

We may not realize that every thought we energise that is of the nature of coercion upon our own experience and relations feeds the 'world' of hate, fear, shame, sickness and war - and I do not say this to condemn - but to invite a fresh waking appraisal of the kind of consciousness we want to cultivate as our 'world' - for we all experience whatever the 'world' IS - through the consciousness we accept and validate by acting as if it were true.

IT IS DIFFICULT to transition from a world in which we thought solid and in some sense dependable, to one in which deeper fears are unmasked and realities crumble that we did not know we had built our house on until they fell away. The habit-choices of fear and guilt are exposed and our OLD way was to try to cover them up and 'escape' ASAP! But this 'genie' isn't going back into the bottle - so the nature of your wishes needs to align to your true will - instead of playing out a conflict by which you frighten yourself.

Love's integrity and awareness is beneath the coverings of fear and conflict - and yet also beyond their reach. Sites that do anything to attract attention so as to sell that attention its payload - or to sell its guest to the designs of others illustrate a lack of integrity. This is a choice from which all can experience and learn what they choose to access or call forth in their consciousness, including the ones involved in attempting something that works against their true interest - yet seems RIGHT or necessary because of the WRONGNESS seen in others or the fear of consequence of not acting as circumstance seems to dictate. 

Pride comes before a fall. A true humility comes as a rising light.

Read the Consciousness that is reflecting to our clear view:

A filtering, blocking, and distorting mentality substitutes its own assertions for an intimate and honest reception. It may not believe its thoughts are true, but it will believe they are truly necessary and thus usurps its true communication  with a 'personal agenda'.

Everything we believe about ourselves in relation to events, our world and our experience, sets up such filters, blocks and distortions.

Our self-definitions operate as programming of our perception-experience and thus our reactions.

Running as default, this operates the realm of the illusion of power - as defined by the fear and experience of powerlessness; that is, the sense of disconnection and invalidity that drives the urge to 'becoming' potent or valid. This drive itself is disguised so as to hide the fear. For the direct awareness of the fear reveals what the fear is in relation to.

Hence the bogeyman - or the investment in evil and in enemy; the use of the world and of relationships, for purposes of offsetting self-guilt, self-rejection, self-division.

The spilt mind operates as victimiser and victim both. It runs all sides of every conflict. It shifts at a speed that creates the apparent compartment of a segregated private mind as just one facet of a much larger purpose.

But filtering, distorting and blocking are a segregating intent within a greater Consciousness. The deceptive is absolutely dependent on what it distorts to seem to have any independent existence or power. It is negatively defined via sleight of mind.

While this mode of experiencing and identifying is held dear, given meanings and shared or traded as currency, it will persist. One can love to hate and hate to love, but the simple truth is that what we choose to focus our attention upon is our actual valuing or choosing - regardless of the packaging and presentation of the personal agenda.

Honesty as to our actual investments reveals  practical steps of re-integration within the consciousness of our being. Guarding a hidden investment persists in hiding (from) our true conscious communication - and all of its messengers. But what is really defended against is recognizing from within.

When a dark glass is no longer interposed as a lens over vision, light and clarity simply reveal themselves. The lens of the mind that we have co-created and share as our world experience is a lens of fragmenting judgement. We generally have no idea that our experience is created in consciousness - for we have 'put our power outside ourself' in both the selected idols and their shadows of self-rejection.

We no longer recognize our Self in all things, but instead are trained to 'see' and 'attack' the 'self' of fear and division - without recognizing that we ARE recognizing our self in all things - AS WE DEFINE ourselves to be.

We DO unto others as we would do unto our self. What makes the rule Golden, is our unconditional love for ourself. We cannot manufacture this within our conditional sense - yet it is inherent to our felt existence.

To exist is not the effect of thinking. All thought is the effect of the Movement of attention that SEEMS hidden while focussing exclusively within the thought of disconnection from Source; from the Living Movement of one's being.

I write to invite a shift of perspective from the ongoing presumption of an independent and threatened sense of existence, to awakening within one's true power to flow WITH Life instead of attempting to be coercive upon its flow from a point of no authority or capacity to do so. One cannot sin against the Infinite, but the belief in actual separation is the result of choosing to persist such belief as if it were necessity. No one forces us to believe anything about ourselves and world but our pre existing structures of belief.
Coercive beliefs are not joyful. Their apparent fulfilment is a temporary distortion upon pain and fear.

(This was written into a Mac - chat forum where I had quoted Joseph Campbell's 'follow your bliss' and was asked if such a mentality doesn't play into the Tesco webcam world of being manipulated - in so many words!)

Oh I suppose to begin with they can be proven and monitored to be anonymized, strictly determining a type that switches the appropriate ads on. But its a step of normalizing - as we already are in GB to being filmed in public. Petrol stations often already have cams that often also check number plates. It seems inevitable that privacy in public is a lost cause - and that privacy anywhere is also disappearing as all sorts of ways of surveillance are already in place if not activated.

Theirs a good film, 'The lives of others', set in East Germany, but that like many films focuses on something horrible by showing a heroic exception.

Terrorism, unfortunately is more often wielded by a state upon its own. This is so unthinkable that most hobbits wont look outside the Shire.

The State today is wedded with and very strongly influenced by Corporate powers under the aegis of the Financial Powers - who most don't even know of and that is an example of what is already in play.

Of course its all making sense - to have targeted ads means more revenue from those who have to pay huge sums to just keep their bit of brand and product mindshare from being usurped by their rivals.

The whole ad culture - whilst giving employment to a few - is an enormous overhead or tax upon business and is becoming the engine of society at ever deeper levels - such as Facebook and Google's model of making profit from selling customer data as well as selling customer mindshare to advertizers.

And while some use lighter more refreshing ways to invite attention most of it is a stark coercive intent with some kind of candy or bogeyman symbols.
And all of it normalises us to live within a coercive intent and be distracted with surfaces of mental implants - because it is not talking to the conscious level - excepting to grab a moment of exposure - even peripherally- they know that doesn't work. And so do politicians. It is talking to the unconscious - using symbols associations and repetition repetition repetition - you get the drift.

So it all points and moves to a herded, managed, underclass who are not required nor allowed to determine their own choices - and thus become ever more dependent on being managed. A very few who are completely above any kind of rule of law and can use anyone and anything at their whim. And a small serving class of those who have skills of a nature that the ruling class need - especially those who can institute the replacement of such a class with automated systems.

I think HG Wells saw it ages ago - though not in all its nuances.
Just as supermarkets are simple logistical solutions to dense populations and road vehicles, so our society is programmed by the factors that are actively operating - some of which is the management of mass populations - but within a mindset that has not been updated or refreshed, so much as mechanized and externalized.

Survival of the fittest means that that which fits its environment and expresses itself as an integral aspect of that environment, is selected.
Man imposes his own thinking upon life and upon the environment in a way that exploits it and undermines his own basis of existence - as well as overriding his own innate function of existing for his own definitions of himself that have been conditioned into his mind so as to make him blind to the Life that he is and that is all around him.

To end on a positive note - did anyone watch the BBC program Metamorphosis?
I felt it offered a real synergy of the arts and sciences in a way that carried a deeper message for us all - and for our times.

The word emergency is pointing to emergence. There are innumerable example in nature where very specific and extreme situations trigger the catalyst or the seed of a transformation.
I feel life is always about the difference between a hollow shell or a vibrant flight - but that sometimes everything comes to somewhat of a singular unavoidable point.

So while advertizers will use the phrases of your highest realisation - they will use it to deliver a coercive intent. It's the Real Thing, Coke Is.
No it's not - Is, Is!
Because you're worth it? Spot on - but your existence gives you worth and not your image - much less a plastic barbie doll who cant keep her head still!

Your highest sense of who you are is worth it - and brings you always into the Is - where there isn't a gnawing sense of lack and where all sorts of things line up naturally - and serendipitously!

But what about all the fears and sense of inadequacy and unworthiness that I have acquired since I cant remember when and which are very uncomfortable when they come into my awareness so I do whatever keeps them away?

This is the driving force of our society; the demand for unconsciousness.
You'll find Steve Jobs uncovered the same thing. It isn't really the evil bastards who take advantage of using power to get more power to get more power - they are just a variant of the same root addiction. It's the power we give away by not accepting and living our own responsibility for our lives. We make ourselves 'automatons' by not living our humanity.

The key to reclaiming it is a true self valueing that is not narcisisstic - but acts from the discernment of joy (One can use any of the inherent qualities of life if joy doesn't fit your vocabulary) - but what really excites and draws your interest and enthusiasm brings you alive in your integrity and connecting in ways that let others meet your actual presence.

Reclaiming one's life is not 'resisting evil' it is being true to oneself - and this is a basis to communicate from with integrity to others who have lost sight of their own rather than from a grievance or hatred.

I appreciate that I only managed to get Steve Jobs in as a sort of token connection to Mac Chat - but if the slide into a Grave New World is as blind and as suckered into a scam as seem from where I stand - I felt to share a bit of a perspective that does not succumb.

Security scams and snooping hacks?

An overwhelming 96 per cent of British businesses fear that their information security functions do not fully meet their needs - making cyber attacks the greatest threat to survival of UK businesses today.

Snowden's released information on snooping - which can hardly be trusted not to be used for economic espionage, and high profile hacks such as the recent Adobe - (many of which are not publicized), as well as schoolboys, criminal gangs and foreign governments - suggest that anything digitally stored and accessible can be in one way or another accessed or leaked if the price is right. The price being the cost of bothering along with the value of the hacked asset.

And on the other hand, security 'experts' are only to ready to promote a fearful confusion in which their services or products are required.

Being so dependant on digital resources is hardly the 'free' website to promote your business to millions that was once touted. Nor is the constantly changing environment of devices and systems and protocols one in which to reap the economic and productivity bonanzas, but yet another monkey on our back that taxes us in not only our cash but in our attention capacity and our time-perspective.

Unless of course one is one of the many who have been disenfranchised by the technology and systems that now emulate it as human 'relationships'.

So much of 'progress' is the default persistence of patterns of thinking that no longer fit.

Our conflicted consciousness creates extensions of itself (the Internet of Things) that perpetrate the ancient conflicts of secret self interest at the expense of the whole.

It would seem that one cannot ultimately guarantee digital secrets, but one could perhaps institute a Net that was transparent such that the caller ID was not secret or able to be hidden regardless of rank, status or function. No one really is attracted to this because they cant conceive of not being hidden or secret in their thought and intent, and have every sense of others abusing or stealing or penalizing them for their acts or assets.

Our own consciousness appears to be able to keep secrets from itself no less than our body politic - as is witnessed by 'psychological defence mechanisms'. These issues are rising up in our new technology whether we like it or not and I don't know that the genie can be put back in the bottle!

Issues of integrity and trust are at the very foundation of our sanity - and society. Especially of course in a context in which deception is everywhere and real communication lost to propaganda or simply drowned in noise.

This breaking of a such secrecy is not merely 'out there' but is reflective of a shift 'in here'.

Privacy, properly speaking, is given and received as a matter of honour - but secrecy is the concealment of what is without honour.

The concealment of dishonouring intent has been 'legitimised' by the pseudoscientific thinking that projects its own limited consciousness onto its interpretations of such data as genetics - as if 'survival of the fittest' has nothing to do with fitting into a living environment and everything to do with an urge to prevail over and control everything.

Our actions reflect our beliefs and our beliefs arise from the way we define ourselves and our world.

The more we try to control, the more out of control it gets and the more we divert of our energy and attention in ever greater sacrifice in order to maintain such illusion of control.
When the price outweighs a never arriving goal, a shift occurs.

NSA: One Ring to rule them all and in the darkness bind them?

After Edward Snowden's revelations....

The mythos or story beneath the Lord of the Rings postulated a very similar abuse of power and technology - albeit in symbolic terms. One Ring to rule all the others.
On the discovery that the guidance, skill and support of Sauron had been all along but a feigned kindness over an intent to control, open war broke out. Most 'power ring' wielders were absorbed to become simply agencies of control and domination while a few hid them.

While not presuming to swallow a 'fairy story', such stories nevertheless serve as vehicles of transmitting insights or cultural wisdom. For there is nothing new under the sun in it's principle, if not its form of expression.

My own contribution is to call attention not to the worldly expressions (regarding secrecy, privacy and control) in themselves - but to see that they are embodiment of a mindset of deception IN WHICH WE ALL HAVE A SHARE. It is inevitable that a pervasive mentality of control seeks to extend itself via new technology - using the veil of helpfulness, free goodies and promises of a better world for all. But we CAN recognize the agenda beneath the mask because it is our own REFLECTION. And we CAN change our mind - or rather the active purpose of our desire and intent.

In the Tolkien story, it transpires that one of the little folk of no apparent consequence - with no great store of a 'will to power' becomes the active symbol of the relinquishment of that 'will to power'.

While there are 'battles' of competing and conflicting interests in the world, there is also the dimension of our own personal will; that is, our thinking, our masks of secrecy and deception and a hidden intent which both calls these into existence and maintains their justification for employment.

Put simply it is the intent or wish to prevail over another, and over life, at the other's expense. This mindset has received a sort of sanctification in modern thought as 'genetic' programming at the heart (sic) of Life. But a moment's pause reveals that we embody it as a parasite upon our own Life - in terms of person, relations, and planet.

The issues of control and trust are as ever at the very root of human consciousness. To uncover the root to reveal a different foundation is not unlike the 'journey to Mordor'. Not where one would otherwise choose to bring focus to. But one might say that the darkness is coming after us whether we yield, hide or flee - ANYWAY. So to reconsider everything in the light of the thinking (beliefs and definitions) that embody it - as a direct observation in one's own daily living is in some sense to wake up from the compulsive or mesmeric fascinations of the Big Screen of the World.

Whatever the World Is - can not be known about but through the filters of our mutual definitions and beliefs. I am saying that Consciousness - in its truly active nature sets up the experience we are having and yet is inseparable from the World that is in a sense, dreamed real.
The technology of our day is reflecting the releasing of the apparent separations of our personal or human consciousness from its true Nature and Source.

Not everything about this Global Convergence of technologies is evil or dangerous, but the crisis that it opens in our midst is that of having to accept responsibility (not blame) for our thoughts - for our consciousness and for those aspects of what we called or rendered unconscious, to be accepted and integrated.

It is a fairy story indeed to think that one could hide from truly Living Communications within Concepts kept secret from All That Is. Truth will out!
But a mentality of manipulation and control will subvert this in any-which-way it can - so as to persist as your own.

Secrets are ultimately that which we are trying to keep from ourselves. Control at home is served by setting up a 'foreign agenda'. That's why we don't look within and simply see the deception de-cloaked.

But the recent events reflect that in fact this de-cloaking IS occurring in our conscious awareness.
"Just say No" to being part of the 'botnet' of intent to wield fear and division in an attempt to control in our Name.
As the ad says "Because you're worth it!".

Notional Security

The phrase 'national security' can mean whatever whatever anyone asserts it to mean - especially if in a position of power over others.
If one perceives one's national security as synonymous with control and power over others or world events then one has disregarded sharing power with one's people in favour of the mentality of imposing power upon.
The search for security of those who seek to manipulate others is both endless and futile because the nature of coercion is to breed hatred - regardless of whether it can be set in terms that feel justified to the aggressor.

The USA is a favoured host for the use of power on the world stage - yet it is actually hostage to influences and forces to which it has become indentured.

We might recognize that our national identities are becoming simply a leverage of manipulation rather than an expression of conscious cultural flowering.

We might realize that our notional identity - our ego or self image - is no less a leverage of a manipulative intent and THEREFORE wake up to relinquish secret manipulative intent and listen and feel for a conscious cultural flowering of an integrity that embodies and serves the whole.
Until there is indication from the ground up - of a sea change in culture - our leaders cannot break out from their Faustian pacts. The issue of secrecy is of a veiled loveless and dis honouring intent - which always corrupts its host and serves a disintegrating and rapacious death-wish dressed up as self vindicating struggle to prevail over adversity.

Maybe there is a willingness to see that such self-limiting mentality is inherently fruitless and let it go. Maybe there is a willingness to remember the true source and nature of life rather than demand life only in the terms we set it in.

Q: How can one look at the world we have made and not bring into question our very foundations of self and reality?

A: By looking only as fear and guilt dictate. Which is to say by not really seeing at all.

Porn, society, censorship and Angels

The once private aspects of our mind - of our collective mind - is becoming public.
Some of this are desires that are socially unacceptable or surrounded by taboo, inhibition and dare I say it - a relational consensual willingness.
Some are simply a wandering fascination in what is still 'taboo', out of bounds, hidden from sight, as if one were private in the act of looking.

The mind conditions itself by what you use it for. If you cultivate an appetite for fantasy 'satisfactions' in porn or shopping or any other realm of activity, then you cultivate a mode of private personal control that you get a 'hit' from and then a miss - or a trough in which to look again for the 'hit'. Not everyone has an obsessive addictive approach. Some can spread their addiction across many private satisfactions, like a gourmet, and keep also there actual relational life in some degree of balance. This is like having a compartment or many compartments for different aspects of your personality - but not losing cohesion among them so as to become dissociated in the sense of clinically insane.

What fantasy does by definition, is substitute for actuality. Escape into fantasy is an expression of a lack of joy in the currently framed moment of existence. The uncovering of a pattern of virtual self in its own made up story is a breadcrumb trail of reintegration - if reintegration, peace and joy is actually the accepted desire.
In ultimate sense true being is not damaged by anything because all the ideas by which such experience was had are ideas that are chosen and experienced. But the mind can seem to become victim to its own ideas and suffer as if compelled and victim to forces beyond its control. At this level, trust is the uncovering of an integrity of being that is both ground and guide. What you give out is what you get back - always, without exception. This is a current reality - of what you are currently putting out being the nature of what is reflected as experience. but the surface mentality that identifies a sense of personal control as survival and sanity is by default in denial of its so called 'unconsciousness'. So we are as ones "who know not what they do".
Beneath the surface, beneath the fear and guilt which taboos against looking within, is the be ing of love- apparently suffering the fantasy of our collective 'reality'. But within the loving nature of what we have mostly forgot, is the Angelic realm. One simply stops energizing the jamming chatter, to let a natural whole Communion/communication resume in an awareness that was momentarily distracted by grasping at some image or object or experience as if it could or need be possessed.

True Power does not hide behind a mask

The immature or disconnected mind, wishes to change external reality to make itself feel better or less dissonant, without any process of transformational change or growth of perspective. As it attempts this it not only meets opposition and adversity which reinforce the 'problem' in the terms it set; and validates the use of power or force as a necessary protection from the reflection/reactions of its own unowned acts.

A 'divide and rule' polarity sets up mutually reinforcing shadow fears, the 'other' becomes the means of justifying the breakdown of trust, of communication, of the extension of a sense of worth. This is then expressed as some kind of self-specialness, which in a sense is a 'war on truth', insofar as it blocks and distorts... the extension of a sense of worth in trust that communicates an integrity of being that includes all.

The understanding of our mind - in actually transformational terms - is not at all the mining of the data of spiritual or psychological insight in order to get a better handle on manipulating our world.

Yet such programs run blindly on in every walk of life including the US Government. It is the zeitgeist that needs to change/is changing and this is  - if you will - a wave of recognition within us that many will accept, rather than seek to deny. What does not work and can not work is more than futility - it is depriving us of what can work and does work - while we engage, employ or give our lives to it.

Speaking truth to power is not so much a tactic as an extension of the presence of a shared worth. An act of witness. True power does not hide behind a mask - yet we give power to the mask of perceptions and presentations and play out as if this were all true.

The nature of Mind has some immutable laws; as you give, so shall you receive. There is NO coercion in this law. A coercive intent will reflect and rebound! The wish to keep it will hide in a masquerade in which a relative innocence is asserted as justification to defend - indeed to attack first! - the ones who are seeking to steal, deprive or threaten.

In all cultures are seeds of truth and tares of distortion. That which seems to threaten may in fact be that which serves to grow our perspective - and which cannot be avoided. The refusal to grow clutches a past that is not here.

The Prism on the dark side of the Net?

News of the US surveillance has set off a hubbub, and not surprisingly, because the issues of privacy and control, are so linked with that of honesty and trust.
I read the article and some comments, and then also commented not so much to the specific issue as to what it represents in the issues of consciousness and culture that give rise to the symptoms.

People are enjoying this it seems.  A wonderful opportunity to vent opinions and exercise imaginations. Never mind the actual issues lets vilify someone or spout doom - and above all, feel righteous!

Perhaps this attitude of making entertainment for personal gratification out of real social and political issues is why the 'mob' aspect seems to inspire those who feel to be in some expectation or responsibility for governance to resort to the advertising methods of mind control. However, the admen and the media and the Gov, are all so busy trying to manage perceptions that no one is attending to what is really going on.

Ideas that are accepted into our minds as to what we are and what life is for, will automatically go forth and multiply as policy and action and consequence. Trying to deal with things at the symptom level tends to obscure and dislocate problems into more convoluted proliferation that are not recognized as aspects of the original issue.

Honesty is linked with privacy in two ways. Honesty gives privacy to that which is peaceful and harmonious and doesn't interfere in what is not one's own business. It blesses such with gratitude.

Dishonesty demands privacy in which to operate. Hiding the lie is the 'mask' or false presentation in which one's true presence is usurped. This is now so ubiquitous that it is considered normal, natural and genetically dictated.

The mask goes hand in hand with 'getting something' at another's expense. This is now considered the normal and natural relationship between us - as if life was simply an opportunity for private personal gratifications that use and use up the resources of our spirit and our cultures and our world.

Writ large, the ego mentality - as I tend to call it - is played out by nations or rather governments - who are puppets to the financial and corporate forces of our times - for we are dependent on the kind of economy that... keeps us dependent and processes existences as if they were to be programmed - a description which to a large degree we conform to.

True presence is not programmed reaction, does not assert or demand control, but opens and extends communication - and invites the growing of trust and creative relationship in true educative collaboration.

Now the expression of creative relationship will not fit into the controller's range of vision and so along with the extremists, will be marked those who do not support the modality of control in passive conformity (which includes the styles and fashions of the presentation of non conformity).

Waking up is not becoming Chicken Licken, but is bring curiosity and enquiry to the very foundations of our consciousness so as to regain a grounded perspective of true presence from which we live and communicate and relate. There are such riches that we deny ourself in the mentality of guilt, fear and coercive manipulation!

When our private lives become public online … will it make us more or less tolerant?

 

 

There is no such thing as thoughts that have no effect at some level - yet human thinking WANTS to set up so as to have a private mind in which to explore, enjoy and also mask and hide thinking that is mean-spirited and dishonouring of oneself, others and life.
And then one seeks 'like-minded' others for validation and support - and to create cultural or social environments in which to indulge and gratify one's 'avatar'.

The current mindset of corporate consumerism encourages such indulgence - as it can gain private advantage or profit thereby.

Where is the voice for integrity of being?

Not merely a calculated analysis of risks and benefits within a narrow range of vision - but the conscious expression of honesty.

There is such a thing as good clean fun that is not at the expense of others, but to access it, one needs to disinvest of an addictive or passive compliance with the thinking that uses our mind without having a genuine basis for being there. For much of our ego or self presentation is an attempt to cover or hide a sense of dissonance in fearful or guilt escaping persona.

So maybe it is a good thing to have come to a time where our thought is not so much controlled - but no longer private or provincial.
So we have to start to stand in and with what we say and do rather than live superficially within a sort of cultural permission to unconsciousness.

The attempt to control thought is very strong in the mind and thus will attempt itself through the Net - even as it does in politics, media and commercial activity. But it is always a self-defeating impulse, no matter how much of a short term hit it seems to offer or deliver.

Organic systems cooperate as expressions of a whole, whether they seem to compete at surface level, and so does a paradigm shift. The end of privacy will have profound effects which must include a fresh perspective of tolerance. For who is without sin - let them throw the first stone!

Looking for fault in others is a way of avoiding your own. Period. But apparent fault in others IS the way to detect your own - and thus become free of it.

There is a new perspective within the 'new wine' that is integral to it. While we seek to apply the old mindset we hold ourselves in the dark ages.

Through a Google Glasses Darkly?

New technology will make us all agents for Google. Nick Pickles, Director of Big Brother Watch, says the implications for privacy are profoundly worrying.

(Three comments into a product that brings home some of the implications of the Internet of Everything - of which data-mining is driving as if it offered THE ANSWER).

1. The only way I feel the Internet of Everything working beyond the reach of any private self interest - be that personal or corporate, is if everything is tracked and traced without ANY possibility of corrupting the datastream.

Then those that provide the information as well as those that access it will be identified. Any attempt to manipulate would be identified.
'What's your business" can be asked of anything that has none.

Violation can be marked up as a trace on all parties involved. What is our business? Is it our own business in the sense of exclusive and hidden, or is it open to all legitimate approach?

God's Reality could be considered a state in which privacy is an absurd idea and everyone 'walks in a garden' where all is shared as it is needed or called for.
No need for dense bodies in a realm of Light.
But if you wanted a private experience you have to usurp the Living system by promising extra powers and giving out some sweets. "Hey come on in - this will blow your mind!"

These glasses are a bridge to the biochip. Events will be hijacked or indeed created to induce adoption. The Beast appears. Do you see that it isn't the form but the intent to manipulate and control.

And of course it didn't SEEM evil to the elves that made the magic rings. In fact these particular elves were groomed on the shiny halo of doing none!


Someone commented that we would be crazy not to embrace this tech and that Glasses are no different from phone-cams anyway.
2. Each step is incremental so in some ways - yes you can walk around with a cam or phone etc - but this would become as normal as having a smartphone. And yes it cuts both ways as police brutality exposure vids show.

The thing about abusing a knife is that its range is limited. So yes technology is always abused but its range of effect is growing incrementally at an accelerating rate.

If you are willing to be managed and essentially farmed, there is a place for you - as long as your demographic fits.

The Faustian pact was a symbol of having added powers that robbed your soul. Now the Soul is not even felt - amidst a flood of information and distraction, so maybe the last part of the process is welcomed as if it was freedom.

But if others OWN your life - your freedom is just what they feed you while the milk yield is high.

The more we invest ourselves in technology - the more we disinvest of our real lives. Sure you CAN do both - but that requires a great willingness of discernment that runs counter to everything we are raised to believe - and so that is what I feel the Call of our times is.

Its much easier to take the ride. That's what everyone felt during the lead up to the financial crash. "Who cares if it cant last - this money is sweet now and there's more!"

Discernment has to come from a place that hasn't already got an investment of private self interest.

There - now that is an awakening invitation to identify what we love to hate in others... in ourselves, and to NOT employ it.

Truly shared interest is enlightened self interest.


Someone pointed out that the new tech could replace all signage with virtual signs (an idea that has some appeal in a cluttered world). So the speed signs appear only when exceeding Another replied that you'd be zapped and fined as soon as it showed!

3. There are no speed limits and no signs - the car is also on the grid.
If you have the money, you can have the ad free experience - maybe ad minimal. But hey - here's a free option, hook up your mind to our inputs and we'll zap you over and over and over and over... you know what I mean ;-)
Its cool that you can defend your mind because that creates a new vector for applications we can sell to target you and others like you - so as to zap you over and over and over- with what you really WANT. WANT.WANT.WANT.WANT.WANT...... you know what I mean ;-)
Now in amongst those guys that have things to sell and services to offer is also a desire to put something in, to trade in something worth having or doing - or there would be if there was a way to get a toehold in an economic system designed to undermine a truly organic relationship.
If the 'devil' had a trade what would it be? Advertising? Movies? Lawyer? What I'm aiming at it where something comes between and  breaks what it promises to make.

If we are already destabilized and identifying with a meaningless existence - we are susceptible to the false promises of a loveless intent.

(As it happens - I expect the virtual system will keep the illusion of personal control going so as to maintain the power of guilt and punishment aka 'control'. If the car is controlled universally, then 'thought control' stands in line. (which is the true nature of manipulative intent all along).

I just find the words flow once I start typing into the general thread of this stuff.

Cablegate - exposure and opportunity

In a world predicated on gaining or maintaining oneupmanship we are in a sense always at war and always seeking strategic alliance for self serving ends that we justify to our particular self or business or nation - as survival - as well as calling on our particular mythology of specialness.

I feel there is another way of communicating than with a two faced approach and that we cannot imaging what such an approach can bring in terms of benefit - because we are so deeply programmed to fearful and exploitative ways of 'relating' to ourselves - each other, and our world.

The Golden Rule is to do as you would be done by - and there is simply SO MUCH that is currently accepted currency of exchange that is less than that - that there will be considerable fear and reaction to the loss of privacy in terms of exposing a manipulative intent.

However, let them who are pure in heart and mind throw the first stone. The blame game is itself just another mechanism of manipulation. My point is that we are invited by circumstance to find ways to communicate that are really effective communication - rather than playing the game of deception.

I don't believe this is imaginable as a practice until some kind or heart awakening honesty pulls the lawless self-will into alignment with a Greater Purpose. But then again, the increasingly unstable scenario of our times begs the reevaluation of who and what we are and what life is - as well as our true function as participant expressions of life.

The contagion and disease of fear is not only poison to the spirit - but sets the scene whereby we are easily manipulated and controlled so as not to awaken and be expressive of our spirit. Yet the enemy is never really 'out there' but is a mentality that we think we can use and 'get away with it'. But it is a hollow path that brings loneliness, poverty and suffering.

Yes there are other aspects to the wikileaks - but the reevaluation of the basis of our relationships and communication is the aspect I feel most fruitful of engaging

I am sure to sound hopelessly naive. But the reality of love is not a matter of belief- but the context in which everything meaningful aligns truly.
