After reading this article I wrote the following into the commentary:

I share with you in willingness:

War is propaganda ; the dictate of a 'disconnect-mind' over true willingness - embodies in sacrifice that then is called upon as proof of  'power over Life' that validates 'disconnect'  or 'refusal' of relational communication as 'power'. (We all have a 'war-mind' unless we have completely re-purposed it. It is in our earliest conditioned imprinting. It lurks just beneath the surface to be triggered over and again).

The consolidation and focusing of this 'power' that is perfected in the idea of killing and death as victory of a mind apart from the living - operates as if such an exclusive unipolar 'mind' could even seem to continue to have any existence without the Life upon which it both feeds upon by denial and yet depends on for awareness of existence.

A 'power' directing a coercive narrative founded in deceits deemed NECESSARY against a feared outcome. But truth is not a narrative form so much as true witness in true willingness.

Forms of asserted deceits hidden in or among 'truths' that are plucked out of a context of true relational communication are targeted to elicit a false sense of self-inflation, power or specialness so as to then trigger defensive survival reaction in having such a sense of 'self' threatened.

IF such propaganda succeeds in hacking into and running your mind - you will be engaged in 'identity politics' - in that you will be drawing your sense of self from what you hate and fear rather than from a true presence of willingness and witness.

Life identifies you perfectly when you free-willingly align in receiving and extending true witness. You don't have to deny anyone or anything else to be who you truly are. You simply choose wholly what you prefer without using the charge of hatred or rejection to 'empower' or validate your choice.

The 'war-mind' simply cannot conceive of or recognize relational communication UNLESS and excepting it serves a war-agenda - for it is polarized into offensive defence as its primary motivation - while what is being defended - is itself defended against any exposure or communication that may threaten its 'power' and justification to survive and prevail against a believed or feared 'evil' that is projected OUT and away from a conscious awareness in the greater fear of owning it as one's own conflicted motivation.

War is firstly an attack upon One Self - in which a self-segregation asserts a narrative mind and plays out its personae as a would-be god. There are no narrative terms for what One Self feels and knows itself to be - but our Life redeemed from loveless purpose reflects this spontaneously - in any moment of true relational willingness.

Such witnesses are no given appreciation - and a resumption and assertion of continuity of 'self power' airbrushes and redefines a narrative of diversion into distractions so that free attention is too scarce to notice and grow any Consciousness within the gapped off sense of separate 'power' over Life.

I write in willingness to be found in the movement of a life that is my willingness - but not a loveless master or slave. Living from such willingness is within the art of presence - that mind-in-presentation pre-empts from revealing itself - because the false currency can no longer be traded in and passed off as 'real' in the actual presence of Life lived and shared.

Insofar as we are invested in false identity of masking what is felt too fearful to own or express we need transitional steps of addressing such fears without demonisation, for in a sense we all trigger each other's shadow denials and communication is the first casualty to war.

There is nowhere in the world to run, hide or evade or really 'prep' for the exposure of our core separation trauma - that in a sense our narrative of a world was made to hide from - and hide in.

To arrive at the beginning and know it for the first time - is to see with new eyes. To persist in the old paradigm is to repeat the past and the war-mind - no matter how checked and balanced, operates the endless, futile and tragic repeating of a past made in anger.

"Stop the world, I want to get off!" - can be translated to mean - "pause the war of a directed narrative-mentality, I am willing to listen and Feel for what is true here".

A world born of willingness for true feeling willingness - has to pass through the 'trials and persecutions' of being 'baited' - or it is not your willingness to recognize truth first and use the mind to reflect and embody it as felt or relational word and deed.

We simply cannot understand this with our mind unless we first change our mind about our mind. Unless we expand our imaginative freedom to experience and share in 'the more' of what is here - and who we are - rather than actively deny it in loveless definitions masking behind 'acceptable' faces.

Checkmate!

I've come back to this thread to say that a strategic response to a situation and indeed a strategic identity is a way to lose freedom for the promise of getting there in some future moment or reclaiming a freedom believed lost as a result of the analysis of the moment at hand.

I'll add that this is the normal ,but is not the original nature of human being. Yet if it is the predominant belief structure it must be worked with to open it up to a more direct and less obstructive communication - or there will be no communication.

Such strategic analysis accepted and reacted from as true operates as a conditioning reflex that becomes in a sense and automatic response that maps out the situation in terms of definitions and meanings made and accepted in the past. Indeed the range of such judgements and strategies constitute one's sense of identity in the world; our conditioned sense of self. The sense of freedom of such an identity is freedom FROM perceived threat and freedom to maintain self-protection and prevail over such threat or at least keep it at bay.

The resort to offensive strategy as effective defence then follows and is justified by the perceived threat, and wounds from the past become valued and restated as value in supporting one's offensive or justified strategies of prevailing or manipulating outcomes and behaviours.

The 'chess game' of reading the strategies of others and developing counter strategies becomes the box within which thinking then has to operate to have any validity. One strand in the overall game of strategies is that of libertarianism. All strands operate and support each other as an identity in struggle or game of power - where power has been redefined in terms of minds that are equated with or limited to bodies, acting upon each other, along a set of meanings arising from the belief and experience one is not free, whole, and worthy.

THAT such conditioning occurs and becomes our personality construct is observable. But the capacity to observe it in act - within our own consciousness is itself an awakening of consciousness at a level that is not enacting the identity of conditioned reaction but free to accept it, or allow and invite a fresh perspective that is a current take on the whole situation - accommodating to one's readiness and willingness to accept and act from a perspective of wholeness. This is a spontaneous event and not the result of machinations of mind - and yet it may be filtered through machinations of mind as part of accepting it is in fact what is desired.

The be free flowing presence may be similar to being 'in the zone' because its spontaneity is in a sense quite thoughtless and selfless - yet not as a result of any denial or coercive intent to suppress or diminish thought or self. there is simple a sense of getting out of one's own way and allowing a unified desire - that is no longer oppositional to but embracing of all that is present in relevance and resonance to the current theme of focus and desire.

Oppositional will is a key idea in the redefinition or the negation of free will - which is prior to any idea or definition about it. Indeed  minds that think they are bodies may define freewill in body terms to act without restraint  - without opposition - and yet also to limit and restrain the acts of others that do not support or ally with their own ideal or idol or model of conditions that must be met for them to feel themselves free.

The shifting balances of meanings, judgements, reactions and perceptions that operate as the 'balance of power' themselves become the object of attention - to come up with strategies of negative cooperation in which self-limitation is imposed and accepted as an attempt to equalize or bring parity wherein specific points of focus are partially addressed at the level of behaviour - if not at cause. Such 'sharing' and 'equality' then becomes a new arean of offensive manipulation through which any minority 'victim' can become a proxy for a third party agenda to use to undermine existing levels of integrity and function - and indeed engage naked enslavement plunder and coercive dominion in the guise of regulatory capture and control through the ideas and identities developed in the attempt to become free. It is easy to react to what one has judged unawares - as if one is relating directly with an external or oppositional reality, when whatever is occurring is one's own definition overlaid upon the arising relational situation. Hence the adjunct to be vigilant against deception.

Mutually agreed definitions and judgements become competing 'realities' or 'truths' or ideologies, within which apparent unities of purpose or endeavour faction and fragment like the tower of Babel, when the context against which seemed a unity, shifts... as it will.

I do not regard myself as Christian - in the traditional sense -  in fact I do not regard myself as anything in terms of a locked in identity - because I find my true identity in the expression of the freedom to relate, to receive and to give and to know that freedom in act as well as recognize the same quality in others - regardless their current choices. But Jesus also addressed the issue of worldy power and obligation - vs inner allegiance and congruity of value in thought, act and deed. And yet an exclusive or militant materialism cannot engage with the Meaning beyond the form - for all forms have locked in meanings and the mind of such assertion is locked in its own thinking by its own choice.

The Meaning beyond the form is that from which all forms derive their meaning. Perhaps I might arrive at a useful exposition of this here.

Any sense of exclusively personal power immediately and inherently opens the possibility of personal powerlessness and inadequacy to meet the situation at hand. This feels dissonant as conflicted feelings and purposes - ie: a chaotic psycho-emotional state that is intolerable.

The desire to persist in the personal sense of power is not associated with the powerlessness which seems to be a result of oppositional wills or forces.

Identity in powerlessness (victimhood) appeals to the personal sense of power to protect and unify it against intolerable chaos. That is , it gives its power away to the idea of coercive control as 'protector'.

The resultant coercion suppresses and limits the range of the expression to a will and projects the conflict outside and way from what the realm of personal control it now identifies as itself.

The denied will is thus rendered 'unconscious' and the projected conflict perceived externally and reacted to as such 'protects' it from its core fears whilst embodying them as unrecognised external relations of separate and disconnected reality.

Perpetual war is the condition of living within such an identity - but it can be expressed and distributed in such a way as to seem to contain arenas of victory or truce, alliances and paths of discovery of freedom and enlightenment. But always the core conflict is propagated through all of its expressions because it is inherent to its predicate and is this its predicament.

There is no freedom within a compulsive identity of reaction but there is always the freedom to choose not to use it and thus release the identification in coercion.

In the fragmenting of the mind was Meaning lost to conflicted meanings that are by definition meaningless, but the desire to protect the meaning of personal power becomes a central focus through which attempt to unify the self operates and ascribes its own meanings to everything that it incorporates into its world. For everything is judged according to its perceived use or threat to the survival or persistence of the personal sense of control.

However meanings are not fixed and investments are released and some of this occurs as part of the normal process of development or adaptation to the 'world'. Some as a result of crisis that forces a transformation of thought and identity or trauma that reopens the core separation experience.

The recognition of the coercive will as unwanted may arise from realising one's self destructive scripts, or the meaninglessness of hollow victory, the pain of a sham , or any number of avenues of arising honesty.

The recognition and release of what does not in fact protect or belong is freewillingly embraced as an acceptance of reintegration through the separation experience to the free flowing restoration of unified purpose - which then expresses itself through the personality construct one had in a sense grown as a segregative attempt to unify or make a self of that which is not true of what in clarity of discernment is now seen to not be who you are.

Purpose is the underlying orientation of desire that focuses and aligns the mind. There is already Purpose inherent in Life but it is not coercive upon its expressions as to how that purpose is expressed or reflected.

The freedom to believe one can abort, defile, destroy, poison or oppose such purpose is inherent in a truly un-coerced and free imagination and the Human exploration of such ideas of limitation, separation, opposition, conflict, war and vengeance are experienced real because we act from the desire and belief that the power to do so is our reality. Freedom is expressed even here - but in ways that do not know themselves free - that do not know who they are because they choose to believe what they are not and blame it on their world and hate it for failing them and meet the hateful and are worn down and entangled in the taxes of their own defences. And so crisis necessitates transformation.

When everything shifts it isn't just that what doesn't work any more doesn't work - it is seen that it never was true but seemed so.

The old currencies of thought are not only unworkable, they cost - or work against the arising of the new. Until the mind of such thinking can be noticed rather than enacted. Then the devices of persecution or suppression work to more clearly illuminate the self-definitions we otherwise unknowingly carry that are the obstruction to our own appreciation of a truly lived existence Now.

Living from the already free is not a matter of effort, but of consistent and persistent willingness as awareness - not thought. One does not become free. One becomes more aware of the freedom one is. False notions of freedom enslave. Discernment is inherent to a true self worth. The wish for magical solutions invites a manipulative magician to synchronize with your current reality - but conflict is not solved by wishing - but resolved in wholly willing. There is no unity in a fearful agenda. But fears that are owned and embraced and lived through become the very means of releasing what does not belong.

What you give out is what you get back. Forgive and be (know yourself) forgiven. The attempt to get rid of hate and fear by projecting is the way to KEEP it fixed in your mind. One does not get rid of anything - one releases what is not belonging and focusses entirely on what does - what one truly resonates with in the knowing of that unique quality of being you know is you. Your world will in its own timing reflect an entirely different perspective as a result of you having changed. You cannot access such perspective from changing the world. That is the persistence of the attempt to solve ones inner conflict in external scenarios.

Anything I write is simply information or idea that can be freely considered or ignored. Authority dwells in the discernment of the receiver, for no matter what the apparent form of the source, it is the quality of recognition of true resonance and relevance that opens the insight or inner knowing that is beyond words - and yet can communicate through them in the qualities of life.

This op-ed news article prompted this commentary:

The device of deceit by which consciousness 'fragments itself' is of many shifting levels masked by personae.

At the level of the personae an unfolding drama of the grasp for power, by a fear of powerlessness, is thus compelled to coerce in order to persist or 'survive' by getting or taking from others and from Life, that which it believes itself deprived of or specially deserving.

This 'worldly power' operates in cycles that essentially consolidate power, but at the expense of integrity and therefore functionality. Over-controlling life renders it uncontrollable, for suppressed symptoms merely arise everywhere and escalate the believed need for such control at the expense of communication.

Control mentality operates in isolation of separate self interest and while pursuing a sense of special self-interest, can only manipulate via 'incentive' that are negatively predicated - either directly as in fear of consequence or indirectly in seducing dependence within artificially induced scarcity.

I write about nothing BUT consciousness responsibility - for I see this as our next step - our awakening to the acts of definition within consciousness whereby we accept and trade a false sense of self and life and purpose.

I am not suggesting changing consciousness IN ORDER to change the world, but aligning consciousness truly in order to be the change we wanted the world to deliver.

Communicating the perspective of consciousness is difficult when the existing paradigm collectively has the map upside down. One literally has to freely yield one's thinking to connect with Wholeness... with and as Consciousness.

Thinking 'says' this wont make any difference.

Thinking says all kinds of things - but until the predication upon guilt and fear is significantly undone, thinking operates a scam - of sorts - for the attempt to hide FROM fear and to hide IN fear GIVES POWER AWAY.

BUT - what is true of you is not lost and doesn't need to be reclaimed or 'taken back' so much as RECOGNIZED.

Everything is a matter of perspective, and Consciousness ITSELF is the capacity to shift perspective and behold everything within a fresh 'take' rather than a 'mis' take.

However the engagement or preoccupation with trying to change the world first in order to then 'arrive' is a block to shifting perspective and simply locks one into a pattern of limitation and conflict from which there is no escape WITHOUT shifting perspective to where escape is no longer a meaningful necessity.

One doesn't 'escape' oneself - or any facet of oneself - but one does choose where to bring one's focus of attention within All That Is.

Focussing on the negative as if to get a positive result is a mistaken and futile self-deception - even if a few billion reinforce each other in the attempt.

Re-integrative consciousness is not trying to fix Humpty Dumpty under the King's orders but embracing the healing of one's own consciousness so as to in effect withdraw support for the 'botnet of fear' and align in true - joyous - purpose. Then one may speak true to the mind that is identified within un-owned fear. But otherwise the blind lead the blind - and of course all with conflicting agendas attempting to manipulate outcome.

Coercion is NOT the way of communication, honouring relationship or integrity and so truth is its first casualty. But that doesn't mean truth isn't true, it simply means it is temporarily denied witness.

Scarcity in the perception of power

A Summary (in quotes) of the first Media Lens book, 'Guardians of Power'

led me to write what I feel joins with the theme - but from an appreciation upon the structure of consciousness that runs beneath the world.

I've read and appreciated reading this but feel to note the political effect is one with the consciousness cause.

The idea of a dark lens of distortion is not new and the idea of a deceiving mentality is not new - but what is less often acknowledged is that its defence against exposure, and subsequent disregard, is the device of denial and projection - for these two are one. What is denied, hated, or rejected in one's own consciousness is made real or validated as a negatively charged fear, by the projection away from self - onto world or other - and then reacted to as true - in the seeking of mutual reinforcement and agreement.

This device purports to temporarily protect from intolerable guilt and the 'rational' mind is invoked to justify and support such division as if an actual separation.

The 'lie and the father of the lie', is the force of the wish to defend a fearfuly defined sense of self as if it is true. This inevitably operates at expense of truth and in disregard to others or one's own true interests. It is the mind of war to which truth is sacrificed.

In the identifying of the 'liar' within Consciousness - of which one's true being is an expression, one becomes free of the personality assertions that sidetrack and displace - or mask and hide  - the actual issues from exposure - and thus protect from resolution.

Rather than seek moral righteousness in opposing the wrong, we can embody an integrity or congruency of being that is able to communicate itself and address the issues without being baited or lured into the crab barrel of futility.

A current ML article uses the term 'rewilding'. I remind those open to symbolic wisdom that God's response to the Paradise Pair who thought to be masked and self-empowered by their own thinking, was "And who told you you were naked?".

Who tells us we are shameful, blameful, inadequate to our life, unworthy of love, etc etc?
The liar does. Whether apparently externally or apparently internally.

Jesus said - (and I don't use him here as an 'external authority' to hide in), that it is what comes out of a mouth that defiles it and not what goes in. Just let 'mouth' stand for mind and see that whatever we are exposed to, it is up to us what we accept, share on and thus identify and belief true for us. For if we give our focus of energy and attention, we are choosing it - even if we do so in 'secret' or by the device of a  'compartmentalized' division in place of knowing and sharing wholeness.

Fear frames all choice within its own founding dictate and so operates as a tyrannous will, masked in the illusion of freedom. But fear itself is a choice, and to recognize that fact, is to resume the use of a power we have never really 'given away' - but covered over in the belief we got rid of it. Why? Because one can use the idea of power to hurt oneself in such a way as to then seek to limit loss and protect a fragment. The mind is then split in the search to regain its power/love/identity through the very relations that it has projected its own rejection upon.

The diversion into fear operates as a reversal within consciousness  where the effect is put before the cause - and becomes believed to exist apart from and thus becomes (in its own belief) its own cause.

In truth such false identity attacks and undermines its own power source for its seeming 'power' comes from denial of true. That is, it has all the power you give it in the belief it is you - or your protector and guide.

While in principle this is simple, the investment in fear is deeply layered with defences such that communication access is effectively denied. Not unlike addiction.
However, the true nature of Consciousness IS Communication and so there is a perspective available in which to recognize or waken from the mistaken identity, and we can seek and find and extend the conditions in which such communication is freely accepted.

Lets all blame it on the symptoms!
"God is dead - there are ONLY symptoms!"
"Symptoms lock us into a war that we cannot opt out of!"
"You are the problem - I hate you. No, you are the problem - I hate you and your hate proves I am right".

Many at the Daily Bell know that a significant aspect of problem is actually the assertion of 'answers' that really perpetuate the problem in disguise and are not answers at all - but are traded AS IF they were. They 'redistribute problem'.

A true accounting must remove falsely framed agendas and assertions so as to simply know.
Thinking about and opinion-asserting is grabbing at straws.
The idea that truth is ours to determine gives rise to a personal or private mind, and agenda
If such 'power' then consolidates so as to Lord it over a world it effectively dictates - why would we be surprised?
But without its game of power such 'lord' is nothing. Nothing at all.
What is it that pays tribute unto this dark 'lord'
but fear's displacement.

Thank the reflection for revealing a truth that it neither frames nor imagines.
Even if that such is to recognize what has no belonging in a unified purpose and so none in me.
We invest and trade and identify in a currency of ideas. This but reflects 'downstream' as the world such identity establishes.
Until the whole thing is brought to account, there can only be the desperation of positions within a fear of loss.
Upstream is the consciousness at template level that operates in secret and guile only because of what it is being used FOR.
Upstream of that is the Creative - which the ingenious denies in seeking self-specialness without consequence.
No one in their right mind seeks self-specialness.
Wrong-mindedness may become the norm here, but it will never become love. Hence it MUST deny love to seem bearable.

Power-envy operates the manufacture of grievance.
Who has ears, let them hear!

Wealth Redistribution is almost as pernicious and destructive as Monopoly Central Banking. Both should be eliminated from the human lexicon, and relegated to the dustbin of history, where they belong. Yeah, I know, fat chance. : )

I reply:

Isn't the attempt to eliminate the way we KEEP things rather than release them? History does shoe remarkable persistence in repeating itself - albeit in ever more complex forms. But I like the idea of redefining everything clearly so that coercion is coercion is coercion no matter which 'side' of the fence it appears to be on - or how much justifiction it generates from its polar opposite.
History can mean what is not here now unless we choose to repeat it by reacting as if it is here. It can also mean the coercive narrative of a justification for wielding power at expense of living presence.
The coercive mentality makes its own version of 'directed history'.
By the way if the 'banking system' COULD be made a transparent and fully accountable service - such that no sleeves existed to hide false cards, no table to hide signal under and no loopholes that could be exploited to corrupt its service - what kind of system would it be?
And if wealth distribution was a movement of free will rather than of pernicious withholding via artificially imposed scarcities and reflected patterns of value shared.
The deceiver works both ends of the market, or the conflict, by interjecting a false framework onto a communication breakdown. I feel a world of difference between siding with freedom rather than 'fighting for it' for all wars are in a sense 'the banker's wars' although the corruption in the template is not IN the symbol that reflects it - nor the scapegoat offered up to relieve it from exposure.
But healing our mind DOES mean being more and more aware and responsible for our currency and usage of thought and word and therefore of the deeds that effect automatically from the only level that can be truly changed - for coercing behaviours is not freedom no matter what is 'eliminated' thereby. Reclaiming power must begin with recognizing and owning our part in a deception regardless 'who seemed to start it'. Merely operating a grievance aims victimhood at whoever and whatever the conditioning dictates as 'enemy'. I'm not suggesting there are not strong feelings associated with our sense of grievance, but they do not mean that the self-definition that gives rise to them is the whole truth.
History is also a perception and all perception is selective. One can perceive from a sense of lack and grievance or from a sense of wholeness. Many find great self-forgiveness approaching death and become illuminated by a tangible peace. I am not suggesting we put off today until tomorrow - but that we are not LOCKED into perspectives but by our own pride - along with a lifetime's conditioning to operate 'command and control' or else feel failure and powerlessness.
The microcosm is the portal to the Macrocosm. But one can indulge a sense of powerlessness so as to no longer feel obliged to live the capacity that one does have to embody and communicate a better way of living than fearful greed and shameful envy.
When everyone chooses NOT to choose their own integrity, the 'market' is wide open to corruption. Waiting to see if others will change first or justifying the status quo because 'what difference would it make if I changed' IS the investment in the status  quo - at the level of measuring everything primarily in terms of the sense of personal loss or gain that y/our history sets as the available options.
Though I include you in reply here I am of course addressing a wider attention and not focussing on you personally. That thinking makes it so is forgot in the wish that our thoughts be true. A disconnected thinking costs the mind an extraordinary overhead in defence and of course leads via bedlam to a prodigal wasteland.

Maybe the hand in the puppet regime doesn't want anyone commanding who shows hesitancy or inhibition in using weapons against their own population and construct any excuse to replace such faulty items with loyal dependable fully conditioned units.

The odd thing is this is thinkable in our current milieu. That a shadow power can infiltrate, subvert and usurp its host and thus operate through what had once operated under the guise of a national sovereignty.

A shadow power is that which operates to coerce and deceive in exerting power OVER life - and is inherently a 'death cult' for that is the power we give death in absence of a full recognition and acceptance of the power OF Life.

However 'blame' is distributed or assigned, however 'hate' is focused and directed, humanity does this unto itself of its own thinking, of its own choice as to being OF Life or OVER Life. The shadow is not in itself real, but in hosting it, we give it our reality and our power and it gives us a delusion of being a power, apart from Life, in and of our self. It hollows out and discards and destroys its host - for such is the nature of the lie.

The father of the lie is that which 'wants' it to be true, that finds some meaning or validation or justifiction for itself that it wants to keep instead of welcoming truth.
In truth we  each and all ARE the power that can withdraw allegiance from that which is insane, meaningless, and invalidating to all Sanity of integrated Meaning.
We have 'loved' flirting with power - even unto the ends of the Earth, as if it resides in a separate persona or even a separate god. But none can operate alone and apart for the basis for the ability to blame and hate and destroy is nurtured in every mind thinking it thinks alone.

Let the dead bury the dead - for such thinking is dead. Attend the Living. It's not so far from you but thinking makes its so. Are you under orders to believe your thinking?
The power to deny an intimate appreciation of power to share is a very strange use of the mind. Whatever the choice was to spell it out and entrance ourselves, is it what we choose Now?
