My comment:


Self-hate, denied fears and denied denials manifest in all sorts of reflections.
That then reinforce themselves as a triggered 'identity'.

Our true identity is not really manufactured but arises within a relational experience.
But the masking persona asserts an identity made upon someone else's loss or in projection of lack or invalidity onto the Other. A loveless sense of such a self uses hate and fear objects to justify and validate itself - as if to protect and thus 'love' itself.

It also uses the hate and fear of owning up to hate and fear feelings and acts as a basis to make narratives of collective reinforcement for collective 'identity'.

If a description of a mechanism becomes a HATE term for personal agenda - such as 'racist' - then such an invested persona diverts and blocks further curiosity or illumination of what is actually operating in place of a recognition and acceptance.

The investment in persona and personified 'reality' is the apportioning and validating of BLAME - by which to invalidate Other and hide a sense of self righteous in the judge.

Humanity has a deep self-hatred that inevitably projects to reflect a hateful sense of existence - and the layers of self that are made to mask and cover this hatred are defended as if our very self. But they operate divisively and towards a fragmented and segregative sense of self.

When we meet that which we hate or have masked feelings of hate toward - we are in touch with aspects of self that are beneath or in some sense upstream of the persona.

The attempt to eradicate or overcome hated or feared 'evil' in oneself is the very means to fix it and keep it as  the unconscious lens through which to seek a PERSONAL validation.

Jesus warned against this - but once self righteous blame is invited in and used as 'power' - a reversal operates in consciousness that defends itself against exposure - in your name.

I watched the documentary and resonated profoundly to her raw human feeling - so rarely ALLOWED to be embodied within a control mentality that fears and hates the true Feminine. And seeing her willingness to BE IT and give it voice as a black woman in a culture where being beaten, vilified and excluded because she is a woman, black, and because she defied the dominant cultures of denial and dared to Be Herself.
So my sense of her includes and champions black identity assertions of humanity in truly Felt terms - but also transcends identity in true Feeling.
I capitalize the term Feeling here because the mental substitutions and distortions are part of a fake world in which concept denies feeling.

When I read this article my feeling was that the power that runs the fake world were doing a hatchet job - indeed a whitewash - to replace a cultural phenomenon with sentimental entertainment. I might be wrong as I haven't seen it - and I may choose not to see it - as I don't care for  Hollywood's remaking of history in  its own image.

I don't care for taking offence to become a political weapon - I have no right not to be offended. But I have a voice. I care that real feeling can be expressed and voiced and that is part of the wholeness of communication - and is now part of this films commentary and context.

This is my witness - no one else's. I didn't really have words to say what I felt but I didn't feel to not say it.

Fear-ism - and the father of the lie

What Exactly is Racism?

Fear-ism operates a coercive and self-differentiating identity. It does so through any and every segregative identity.
Identities of fear-ism are ever shifting alliances and oppositions in which war is the basis for the protection and persistence of the "shadow power" of fear-ism.
The complexity of such disguise is such that it is impossible to establish and maintain communication long enough for the fear-ism to be exposed - as an act of will. For an act of will always embodies some aspect of shadow power - or unconscious hidden agenda - that then works against communication.

There is no ism for love, hence it is not within the radar of fear-mindedness and is thus deemed unreal, weak, inneffective and illusory. However, it operates beneath the radar in disguise that may seem to be enslaved and controlled, and harvested - not least because the denial of love is the only power source that fear-ism has - being an inversion of true creation within a collective mind-agreement.

The fearful identity is lacking true Identity - which only love can give and which love only gives. Guilting and invalidation is the conditioning by which one's natural being is demonized and a 'protector' mask-identity raised upon the 'death' of the true hearted communion within Life.
It is all very well to put everything of such nature in terms of what others, or society, or the human condition or God or any other notion of power - DID unto us, but such victim-assertion looks only OUT at the manifestations of the template of core beliefs of self definition that were chosen prior to 'entrancing' the human lifetime.

It is not true that we choose our lives - at the level of the masking or personality level of asserted identity. But even at that level, are choices being made that can be shown and seen to be working against our good while seeming to at first be for our good.
Thus a willingness for pause from reaction, in which a deeper or more honest and direct communication can occur, opens the way for a reintegrative movement of consciousness. For what seems fragmented and at war within itself - and thus reflected as our world-experience, is a very specific focus of choices operating within ONE mind to facilitate experiential learning FOR the desire to know oneself - which is moving in and as all that Is.

Because, we are suffering the results of choices - albeit many of which are invisibly below our current noticing - because our beliefs and self-definitions are unquestioned and perhaps heavily defended against question, there is the freedom to own or uncover such choices within our consciousness - where automatically and spontaneously is the innate capacity to choose anew - from a truly consciousness perspective - that 'fear-simulated' substitute no longer hides.

The father of the lie is the assertion of being attacked, wounded and offended, with NO correlation to one's own conscious thought, intent or act. The splitting into levels and facets of consciousness is the cost of being ignorant of one's own self-attack. But should anyone complain of a dissonance and discover it is but the result of their own posture - they would merely realign and be finished with it in a moment. Hence the projection of hate and evil away from the self onto the other, so as to persist out of true while seeming not to suffer the cost - at least for a time - until it all comes home.

Individual and collective uniqueness can serve the recognition of the Infinite Creator in All - rather than the scapegoat of projected fear upon which to make a 'special self'. The opportunity to obey and reactively persist in fear-ism, is the opportunity to notice and relinquish it in willingness to re-member love's presence and be re-minded within consciousness. Suppression of the symptoms under guilt and fear is the device by which error is protected from correction.

Correction or realignment to one's core joy, is the absense of coercion and cannot be effected BY coercion. The means and the end are one, so whatever one notices as one's means - will only fruit a like goal. There is no loveless path to love excepting to thoroughly exhaust oneself of any capacity to tolerate lovelessness of self.

Shadow power or manipulating deceit false-flags its own attack to maintain a self-special identity from which to draw willing sacrificial obeisance. This device is pervasive to human consciousness up to Friday, June 26, 2015 - as we each and together define, accept, think, perceive, act and experience ourself to be. But that is all predicated on choices - no matter how well hidden are such choices by falsely framed narratives.

Do we identify in our story or our presence? Are we aware of our true presence? Are we aware of how everyone and everything are perceived through an acceptance of our true presence?

"This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man."

What exactly is racism? - an article in the Daily Bell that looks at the use of 'racism' as a coercive device of the State - although I don't give power to the State but to the ideas that it embodies.

My comment:

Whenever the identity of a 'good' (equality) can be defined over and against an identity 'evil' (subjugation of others on the basis of race (or any other qualifying filter of definition), a segregative mentality is invoked and engaged in the clothing of self-righteousness as self-justified and necessary to effect.

For such mentality - the 'enemy' may change and shift in shape constantly so as not to reveal the essential device or deception by which such self-illusion is maintained.

The compulsive dictate of a segregative consciousness is firstly and above all else; NOT to look within.

'Divide and rule' works firstly as an attack in the integrity of one's own consciousness and then patterns all else to its lens or distortion.

"Love thine enemy' is the reversal of the attack upon Consciousness.

For the mentality of fear, guilt and division HAS usurped the recognition of your very consciousness AS Consciousness Itself, and personalizes the self hating, self rejecting, self judging 'world' - as the veil or cover over its own consciousness responsibility - by which it feels temporarily protected.

Every situation and circumstance is a unique Life Expression - in and of and as - Consciousness. The mind that would 'step outside' so as to exert coercion or "lord it over" Life is the 'enemy of the world', or indeed the thinking of 'the world'.

The exposure of such mentality is necessary to owning that which we tried to deny and project onto others. Judging ourselves guilty or unworthy for having such thinking and feelings is the way to ensure that it is never exposed except as a fuel for an endless war ... on consciousness. Or more more accurately upon your own conscious awareness of Who And What You Are.

If you choose not to accept your reality as it is, then you will demand that it be different than it is, and your mind will supply the device by which your will is done - at least within your own private sense of experience. Free will is not a capacity of independence, so much as an inviolate quality of Being. You/one is free to accept your/one's brother or sister as they are, because of the will to define and judge them as they are not. When we mutually agree to such definitions, we 'create' an experience of a world that consciousness is subjugated to - whilst attempting to prevail over. This is 'materialism' or separation from God, Consciousness, All That Is. How the evils are distributed so as to validate the 'chosen' or special ones is the only game in town for materialism. Power corrupts - whoever happens to get a turn in the role. Corruption is the adulteration of truth with fantasy - with ideas and wishes that are given priority over true communication and become confused with truth thereby.

Communication is the direction of Reintegration. The mentality that would coercively assert 'right and wrong' upon the minds of others can only function as a disruptor of communication, because it is the refusal to look and listen within the heart.

There is a mind that differentiates itself to be special - to get one up - to be favoured - to get what it wants regardless of whether it is real, attainable or truly desirable. We all have something of this in us and it cuts us off from the love - the unified being - that is always present beneath artificial divisions.

The willingness to put aside the mind of division is the allowing of love's perspective into a world that seemed unlovely and fearfully compulsive. In this culture we come to celebrate differences as part of a universal human experience in which our unique living presence is honoured and shared.

The unwilling cannot be forced, but nor need they be fed in terms of their habit and its presentation. A blind and fearful sense of self interest is callous to all but its own perceived or believed needs. This kind of 'self-protective' withdrawal of real presence, attention or communication might seem aggressive and contagious - because nothing baits us more to invest in or invite hate into our hearts than to guilt.

The mind that seeks to redistribute guilt onto others is as yet unwilling to put it aside. A true righteousness shares a true integrity. For lawlessness to meet limitation serves an education and rehabilitation. For the truth of us to meet limitation serves to deepen our determination to put our inner chains aside and find our true presence - which is not defined over and against.

It is always about power over rather than sharing power. It will use whatever is to hand to get, keep or grow in power and is a joining in hate - which is a way of not joining at all!

Darwin felt we were all of one life and sought to prove it. His findings point to the blueprints but haven't yet opened the experience and the realisation of true relation. On surface are all kinds of adaptations and cultural differences and on surface these look to be in conflict.
So relax beneath the surface and get a fresh perspective - despite all the compulsive urges of the mind to run as if it were independent of the life that Breathes It.

The ego is like a thought that has a thick heavy border around it. Inside is what seems to be tiny self in a vast and hostile universe - yet a universe surprisingly aligned for a temporary experience. But actually what is outside and 'other' is what we had denied or closed off from, in fearfully scrambling for some measure of control amidst a chaotic sense of division.
These conditions and rules that we each set around us are a sort of defence against our wholeness.
"There is no holier spot on Earth than where an ancient hatred becomes a present love".
What is the 'power' that hates to love and loves to hate? It is an imagination given the reality of our subscription.
Just say No!

When we give our Word, we define. And as we define - so do we experience. If you give a false word - a fiction - then you have a fictitious experience, a divided and disintegrated experience.
When you wake up to the power of your Word, you will be able to thank your experience and release it so as to make way for a Word that your tiny little mind didn't make up.
The True Defining Context for our experience is known in guiltlessness - which doesn't demand of or lay trip upon.
There was a baby in the bath when religion got thrown away. Because it was being misused by people who had gotten lost in the surface forms without sharing the Meaning.

Bonnie dismissed the 'Word' among other points she made. I offered a reminder that your Word is what you are giving - THROUGH which you are experiencing. The way religion withers is when it is interpreted within the world rather than about YOU. You can have no reality BUT Reality. You want a bit on the side? It's your will - and now you've got a split directive - with all the shit that hits the fan of and projects out as experience.

The mind that sleepwalks doesn't realize it is dreaming and anything you say to it is simply unheard or interpreted to support the dream.

Within this reality we call the human condition, there are those who have engaged a virtual life and identify it to the exclusion of their full awareness of what s and what they Are. It can get addictive and one can learn to screen out (sic) the 'interferences' to the continuity of one's virtual existence so as to give priority to the personal experience it offers.
In this example you choose to engage or 'enter' such a framework for experience and to do so, one has to forget to laugh at it. That is one takes it seriously; identification, preoccupation with its drama, and a protective sense of it's 'life' - and all that maintains it's 'life' - including its drama and ultimate (sic) import of its death - which is what provides the tension throughout.

The Word is the Idea - that you give or extend. By not giving true presence, we experience falsely. It's that simple.
The human consciousness is already a virtual 'reality' and the program is running as a layer of emulation. I am inviting communication 'outside the box' to coin a much misused term.
Because as long as we try to solve problems outside ourselves - that are only solvable within ourselves - we perpetuate the problem in different forms. Like the hero who cuts of the head of the serpent and three more grow in place each time.
Now that doesn't constitute a withdrawal of our presence in our relationships (though sometimes there is a period of 'wilderness' time) - but shifts us from a presentation to an actual presence.
The presence of life is not a thought construct - it cannot be defined or depicted in form - and yet pervades your Whole Life and everyone in it.
When we deny presence to play out a virtual sense of limited self - it is always at the expense of - always over and against - always a polarised experience.
So what is it we are against or at the expense of but Life, as Brother and Sister - because they share this Same Life, and our Self. "Even as you do unto the least, you do unto Me doesn't only mean the least - but means without exception. Until we change our Word we will not heal our world.

Genetic traits can be called racial - but remain genetic traits. We presume genes to be the Programmer of life - but without looking in any detail I bet it is turning out to be much much more complex than that - AND that somewhere below our conception of ourselves or our world, is a power of intelligence that delivers as it is asked. I'm not saying that little ego-minded critters get to choose anything or even have access to such a level - but the scientific crusade has tended to seek for the Cause of All OUTSIDE MIND - and disregard mind - (except for its defining and controlling rational talent) - as have almost all humans prior to scientists.

Mediumal57 rejoined: I can assure you it is both much more complex and at the same time remarkably more simple at once If one accepts that we are a product of Crick and Watson's double helix molecule then chemically all variation in life forms on this planet are essentially brought about by the way carbon chooses to combine with other elements. i say chooses, but of course I don't mean that carbon atoms make a conscious choice to combine with say oxygen to produce carbon dioxide. That process is best described using part of the standard model in physics. The trouble with discussing this subject, as indeed anything related to human biology, one soon finds one has to keep backing up to resolve other issues before what one is really after in being resolved can stand a chance of being tackled sensibly. It's why religious people prefer to blame God. 

Blame and God are incompatible - so you must be talking about blame and scapegoat.
I too find it is much simpler than I can say and remarkably complex to approach through any attempt to say it. I like you also feel that to address anything tends to need to back up to incorporate a structural process in consciousness that is essentially invisible or unconscious to a mentality directed AWAY from its own source and nature. Yet there IS no AWAY from truth excepting imagination - and so even scientific exploration is uncovering  Mind. Not a separate Mind, as in a magical 'god' with super powers. But Mind.

Everything expresses its source, and the notion that reality is split into mind AND matter is a polarized expression of a divisive intent, taken and used as a foundation.
The notion of choice is an imagination - a prop in a play - in which it is accorded status. Yet actually there is only the acceptance of the reality of what Is or the denial of what already Is or it could not BE denied.
Human consciousness is a complex of defence mechanisms, presumed to be acting for surface ego. They are forms of denial and dissociation. Seeking to focus exclusively on the gross aspects of what is external to this ego based experience is an attempt to escape the magical thinking of a personal mythology, not unlike Pythagoras with his sinlessly divine mathematics. (Apparently) abstracted from the sin of personal involvement.

Science tends to try to 'reverse engineer' life as if to know it from the 'outside' and use such 'knowledge' to control it. But I assure you, neither you (nor anyone) is outside it in even the tiniest degree. We live out a play of 'as if' in which the mind 'steps outside' or indeed between, to define and judge all things in its own image.
I accept that all things real are a direct expression of an indivisibility and that includes what is real about a double helix molecule and you and I.
A scientist posits a reason behind a pattern or behaviour, because of splitting off of effect from cause and then assigning the experience of a past as cause, I posit that there is a Movement Implicit in all events that is concurrent or Cause-Event the function of the Living Universe, that is perfectly unified and indivisible. In our terms it could be called 'Know Thyself'. It could also be seen as the inherent nature and function of mind. It is the underlying motive force - yet there is nothing outside or apart from itself to act upon - because it creates out of itself and through its creation knows itself in all its expression. Now this is merely theoretical unless you are uncovered beneath the nature and level of what is called 'your own thought', and still wont mean anything unless the momentum of the divisive intent is recognized and released. But regardless of any attempt to articulate in ANY kind of system of description - truth is uncovered and not determined by the mind of man. And what is uncovered pulls out the rug from under our feet. (Therefore seek and don't find is the interference pattern that keeps the sense of time from falling away to an edgeless Now.

The truth of data is a sort of code modelled out in ideas, but truth of being is at rest in/as its own dynamic and communicates a tangible presence.
Scientific AND religious people tend to use blame to justify a self righteousness, instead of consigning guilt to history and opening to a greater honesty. I realize we are in different systems of thought and I do not expect either to function or make sense within the other - but that doesn't mean they are in conflict. Lovers can also practice science. But not at the same instant - unless the science of love is the uncovering of the truth of an undefended conscious awareness, and innocence of being, a wonder of delight, an ever fresh curiosity. A deep sense of safety and gratitude. A capacity to relate that remains unimaginable to the ego sense. But none of the 'fruits' constitute a handle of control over ones existence so much as the provision of a clearer perspective in which the need for the personal sense of control is undone. To seek control is the action/reaction experience of division. But to come back into an integrated and congruent perspective is to be aligned with rather than resisting, Life.

The right to be rude? Insult a criminal offence?

It is clear to see that special cases are given priority where other cases of a similar nature are ignored.
Where defamation of character is reasonable to challenge in law, hurt feelings are not.
A quickness to use a law that was supposed to protect, as a weapon, means that all other means are not first tried before a last resort.
The criminalisation and public demonization of thoughts is a tyranny that blocks the possibility of the healing of such thoughts.
As if fear and punishment and blame can stamp out fear and punishment and blame.

However, the non acceptance of habits of behaviour that were once accepted or unchallenged is a movement of integrity - and worth finding a better way of holding.

The capacity of the mind to dehumanize or blank another, devalues both the apparent victim and the apparent victimizer - though the recipient does not have to support the mentality to which they are exposed. One does not have to validate victimhood to express an integrity of being that calls for and witnesses truth.

The value of such understandings to humanity in its currently bankrupted and insanely dislocated state are INCALCULABLE - because they unlock the mind from its own self limiting errors and open pathways through which life flows abundantly.

But the passion and identification that human minds hold as their attempt to prevail or their attempt to protect from being prevailed over - make it almost impossible for such perspective to find welcome.

The true response to error is to correct it - but this is misunderstood if we think we can see a sin in another and escape it by stoning the other. Correction is witnessed by a realignment of harmony and not of an enforcement of will upon another.

Because we have each grown a vocabulary and perception of conflicted self, conflicted interests and a loveless or mean spirited and self righteous attempt to present ourselves justified - we have a war of communication. That is we use communication and 'truths' for a war that seems unquestionably real to us and a war which a fearful sense of self WANTS to be real - as it maintains the conditions in which we are hidden. It enables us to keep our mask without the knowledge that it is a mask.

A harmony of life is not a great mystery - though the depths of potential for such an alignment of heart and mind and communication surpass anything we could imagine possible.

One does not say to one who feels victim - "don't be a victim" but support that one in awakening and expressing their integrity - an integrity of being and not a mask of righteousness.

But when 'shit' comes to us, we do have an opportunity to pause from what may seem a righteous reaction, and listen deeper for the part we play in setting ourselves up for the experience. I am not saying that we consciously are responsible for our experience of what happens in our lives - but that we are unconscious to much of our wish, thought and intent - and that this is still active even though it is 'outlawed' or denied awareness. It simply manifests as our experience by different routes if one of them is blocked.

The current trend has been to manage and manipulate society - and this reflect perfectly the mind we accept as our self. If we want to see a more honest way of relating together we must honour what we are honestly feeling.

The mind of reaction is a programmed mind. It can be manipulated and coerced but to do so is to lose ones own communication to a manipulative mindset. To pause from reaction and release the emotional charge as a valid authority from which to act, is to allow a true authority to register in awareness.

We define freedom in our own self image. But freedom is itself free to disregard definitions and express itself in its true nature. While we feel our self concept must prevail, we suffer every kind of heartbreak and indignity and struggle amidst an overwhelming complexity of adversity - or numb our minds with whatever distracts so as to protect against the dispiriting weight of it.

The key to the release of self image and the awakening of a love and freedom believed lost, dead or impossible, is perhaps most simply offered in the phrase "Love thine enemy".
But realize that they are a role in your own script, that you are giving out - and that the welcome to yourself of what you had thought to deny and reject is your own Homecoming.

It will also reflect in the behaviours that proceed - but that is not the focus.

When is offence a matter of ego, or hurt feelings - and when is it offensive to the health and wellbeing of society as a whole?

This ought to be something that the relevant authorities concerned - starting with those involved in dispute, their employers, and if all else fails, a judge - ought to be easily able to discern.

Why not? Because a self righteous anti racist culture is setting the agenda. To fall foul of such a culture is to be vilified.

'Otherism' or scapegoatism - UNDER ANY guise or pretext - is undermining of truth - upon which we all utterly depend for sanity and integrity. It accords a negative value or lack of worth to another living soul because of taking offense.

When the offense issues from an emotional outburst arising from a heated exchange, an apology should be sought and accepted if offered - and made a basis of resumed relations. For such offence is the reaction of the hurt, hurting back - and this is hardly the act or intention of someone in their right mind.

To shift social attitudes so as to draw a line that says it is not ok to denigrate others in specific ways that before had been largely socially acceptable - is a step forward. But we cannot then attempt to use the force and the rule of law for controlling speech without nurturing the very conditions that seed hatred.

Externally applied control is a very dangerous tool, for life does not work, or align creatively and constructively, by being controlled - no matter how much force applied - nor how subtle or ingenious our lawmaking.

We need to use proportionate force to uphold and protect ourselves as a society so as to have stability enough in which to learn and grow in our humanity. For education is the dance of relationship in which conditions of trust are established in which blocks to creativity and intelligence are passed beyond and a mutual sense of worth is shared.

Life insults us daily - it does not support our personal plans. We are often frustrated, limited or opposed by every kind of circumstance. Some seem petty and others are devastating to us.

There are times to make a stand and if need be, our Spirit is our treasure, for if we let others cause us to lose our Spirit, we lose all that we are.

Those who do not live in their Spirit are mean-minded and blind to the living soul in others - having only the letter of the law.

The realignment of our society with truth is the adjustment from which all else will follow. If racism - or anythingism - is kept in the dark, suppressed but not undone - then it festers unhealed and continues to control us not only in terms of racism - but in terms of anti racism.

To ‘open a debate’ or to communicate with a purpose of healing rather than of strategic advantage, it is necessary that the notion and nature of speech or thought crime be properly discerned.

When we attack ourselves through the proxy of a scapegoat, we may get some sense of a passing satisfaction, but no one can put their hatred upon another and have it actually out of their own mind thereby! This is truth. But not the whole truth. For hatred is born of hurt, and hurt is born of a fearful sense of self and life. This is where healing can be accepted and conflict undone.

It is the currency of our notions of self and world that we trade as if real, that sets humanity up for a humiliating but ultimately humbling awakening.

To be vigilant for signs of personal attack so as to claim abuse is to feed the monster that sucks dry our Spirit. To attack attackers is surely self defeating.

Yes, we do need to constrain the self (or other) harming as part of a greater process - but that process must arise or extend from a true measure of love and wisdom - or else its just a recycling of history with all the inherent misery and woe wrapped up in a rebranded presentation.
