Making sense of of pre-sense prior to pre-tense

We are one sense; feeling.
Awareness feels tones, qualities and textures of thought.
Awareness is not directly aware of anything but its own objects and is in no way separate from its objects.
Self awareness is a movement of recognition by which awareness knows itself aware amidst the knowing of its object. When such knowing identifies with an image or thoughtform of itself, it creates an interference pattern in the reflection of Mind, which is never static though what Mind is never changes.
This sense of a self identification has no sense of itself differentiated excepting that while identification occurs the totality 'collapses' as an ideational event of specificity and yet dissolves to totality. This collapse is experience of limitation and yet not exclusively identified. and so is concurrent with infinite or unbounded communication (Totality).
The apparent separation of consciousness as exclusively identified with limited experience is a matter of focussing of desire as attention, and interpretation of resulting experience via attraction and repulsion.
The duality of such interpretive comparisons of values reflect the active identification, and comparison of states - memory - provides the building blocks for the evolution of interpretive identifications to interact as story or process of becoming. The assumption of personal responsibility or guilt, for the sense of disconnect that this process engenders brings with it density, and opacity of experience in which a 'body' of light is covered by a symbol of separated and separating consciousness. This proxy or virtual self attempts to deny the Mind in order to maintain its mind. Yet all of the power of creating its experience is directly coming from Mind - because the separation is not actual - it is not possible to be separate from Mind and exist - even in virtual identifications of an interpreted reality.
The fulfilment of function is in reopening mind to Mind as an integral wholeness of being. To be 'in the world but not of it. Mind is invisible only because it is all pervading. Its in our face - it is our face. It is invisible to the egocentric identification. But it remains true, that awareness feels or knows its object and recognizes itself in the extension of itself.
In a conventional sense we can realize in all honesty that we do not know what we are or what anything is for. This allows native being to reintegrate and transform the interpretive sense to become porous or transparent instead of self conflicting and opaque. This may be experienced as insight, inspiration, integrative answers or prompts of guidance and direction.
It comes  from beyond the capacity of control and it comes to an at least temporary suspension of control and is recognized by the desire that called it forth. Which is already moving before you knew you wanted it.

This is sketching - for feeling into. It is not an intent to define or defend as a 'body of knowledge' or point of view. It starts with the presumption of awareness. Not self, not world - but awareness or Mind.

We think, therefore we are

The mind has ever tried to map an experience of its own existence - and so becomes distracted from this living mystery of which the true nature of mind is concurrent; That it simply Is. Thus engaged in identifications with its thought and belief as its own self illusion, it thinks it exists, by its thought - and that all is as it thinks it is.
This is an incredible accomplishment - not unlike a virtual reality in which to explore the experience of one's own thought. The capacity to be bored amidst Infinite Being, is no mean feat - whatever anyone thinks about it! It is not, however, joyful.
Never underestimate the power of the mind!

The human bubble is one of a sense of separation and control. We call it our life, we locate it as our thoughts within a body, we identify with conflicted and conflicting interests (of our thoughts) as if they were outside us - (as our world). Yet every experience is only experienced within a current awareness. A quality of awareness that is never actually the result of - or actually affected by - our thought. Though our thought filters and distorts our awareness of being such as to create an overlay of experience we identify as our life.

In our own 'meanings' we lose awareness of Meaning. If that is noticed, then we naturally release identification with our own thinking and welcome the restoration of Meaning as our direct and shared experience.

For the nature of our own thinking is private or withheld from the nature love's sharing as like our first-born son is withheld from the true Source or Nature of being. We fear to 'die' in loss of self-will. The thoughts of loving are wholly shared and express unified will. This uses what we made in a dream of separation as tools of awakening

Philosophy may serve such a movement as the heart (honesty) guided enquiry that dissolves the presumptions on which our identity and thinking rest (and all actions proceed inevitably from such belief). But not merely to existential vacuum in which disillusion masquerades as if it were real.
The movement of being is Itself - and knows Itself as all in all. One can say it knows how to be in all its relation. This is not available to the mind of division and selection, but is available to a willingness to question and release a self-assertive mind.

I wrote this on spec as a willingness to share ideas that may … give rise to an intuitive opening of the heart's knowing. But all forms may also be used to fuel a conflicted struggling self. The purpose that governs all life is not ours to create, but is ours to accept. In non acceptance is struggle and mask - and many feel this as their identity and their safety.
Know Thyself! - is not a directive to separate out from life and map it all by yourself - but the innate movement of being to know and share all that it is - as it is.

Thank you for your attention

Can you trick your body into feeling younger?

"If elderly people dress, live and talk as they did in their heyday, does this help them feel younger and fitter? Michael Mosley explains how he tested this theory on six faces from the past." See above link for article.

This simple but profound shift in perspective opens up a simple truth - always true. For humanly, we tend to 'live' in our thoughts and accept what they define us to be - both in our pride - and our fall.
"As a man thinketh in his heart, so he is", is not relating to the thinking of the head - and the emotional and physical states that that induces.

If there is one thing I would like to see come through into human awareness - it is the (Copernican) realization that we truly exist or abide in Thought - and through Thought - and I am not here referring to the superficiality of self regarding imaginations and spin that are programmed to present ourselves as we are not - (to ourselves and to others). Curiously, this realization is unlikely to occur while we are thinking that we are thinking - for this is the result of accepting a mind as our own that is in fact a strategic attempt to cope with dilemma into which we become 'locked'.

It is not that we need to think positively or differently - but that we need to regain a perspective on our thinking itself. For when there is a  fresh perspective arising in the heart - we are truly renewed and healed of some hindrance from past experience and thought that we had allowed to shut us down.
My point is not to try to improve our lot as masked minds amidst a seemingly hostile or unsupporting universe - but to wake up to the nature of the blindfold and release what no longer serves us as we find a better way.

The advent of computing gives us a clear model where we can see that software can emulate hardware - and run a different kind of software on the emulated hardware. It is time to see the world with new eyes.

The key is the willingness to have faith beyond the experience that defines you as less than, or other than, the love that you truly are.

It isn't a matter of self-will or belief - but of trust, willingness and acceptance.

Temporary conditions can allow a truth to be realized - but then it is time to be willing to live from that truth and not from any self-made thought based understanding that substitutes and tries to replicate it manually.

If you've read this far you'll see that self-deception is the same old story. But don't think you understand - unless your heart feels great peace - or your thought will seem to carry you away from your peace and tempt you to struggle again.
