It is true that a mind sees what it wants to see.

It is also true that neither this or the Sputnik article gives links to sources - but in the era of astroturfing - this becomes harder to validate.

Taken just as a story - and parsed for manipulative design and intent - I find the 'western' Media to be operating aggressive and destructive deceit or 'narrative control'.

The patterns of propaganda are recognisable in stirring fear, hatred and willingness to align in support of life-destructive acts.

When a would be unipolar dominance is targeting regions of non compliance to an ever tightening system of broad spectrum controls, it is appropriate for such regions to resist or not comply - while seeking for multipolar recognition. But all the Russian state has to do as propaganda is hold a narrative for Russia - they do not need to actively undermine the 'West' - for it is already undermined and operating a self-destructive or self-contradictory agenda - that is effectively capitalised and targeted to prepare the way for an acceptance of a global government - but... according to who's plan?

Russia's english news only need give a platform and a voice to those who are denied or walled out by their own Media - or rather by corporate media assets.

But your point regarding automatic acceptance is valid - even if your judgement casts you as the one calling everyone else sheep - as if you have never followed or responded to a suggestion without first checking in.

It may be that there are no real sides in any of the wars - soft or hard. Global finance has no allegiance to anything but temporary usefulness for ownership and control. What does it profit a man to gain a world at cost of Soul? A harvest of denial.

In a world of lies - how to know?

In a mind of lies - what seems to be an asset turns out to be a complex instrument of toxic debt.

That COULD be the way to wake up - because self-honesty is the grace of noticing.

It is easier to deceive a man than convince him he is already deceived (Twain).

How can a mind given to (accepting) deceit, lead to any other outcome than a world of lies?

But having made such a world (of denial) can it serve any other purpose than that which made it?

Purpose is not IN the world. Purpose is accepted in and as the mind. Whatever anyone else chooses - you are the determiner of the purpose you accept for you.

By investing personal identity in private possession and control - is power given to conditions and interpretations of feared, wished or imagined meanings as if to protect and extend our self-investment - and thus become subject to a world set outside ourselves - and then seek to adapt to, escape, or overcome by opposing.

But still within the original 'error' of the belief in possession and control - which reveals itself as a false possession that dispossesses us of whole Souled awareness, set under a tyrannous substitution for the true and free will - or the grace of noticing and aligning in a true recognition.

Don't be deceived!
Self-hate is at the root of the projection of rejected and denied thought and feeling.
This is invisible from WITHIN the fragmentation that occurs so it is likely that you will not be able to hear or understand what I am saying. The war-minded cannot know of wholeness.
For the split-off mind that seeks to validate and defend itself (and indeed prevail over its world  and others) - believes itself the exclusive or separate whole 'self' in a world of hateful others. Why hateful? Because who hates themself MUST hate others. Hence Jesus points to the original: love others as yourself - and indeed your Life, Source and true being (God).
Hate has brought the destruction of the world - very nearly now - and that is not successful...
Hate has disguised itself as acceptable and respectable and protective - which are properly qualities of love - and to be successfully deceived is not exactly commendable!

It is all a matter of perspective - and our current definitional framework creates that perspective. I do not share in a currency of hatred - which feels false or deceptive over and against all that I hold true of myself. So when and as and if I meet hatred I look for hidden triggers of agenda  in myself - and release or heal that in myself. I am not trying to convince you - but I am willing to share with you from where I take joy in being. That bodies can be attacked is self-evident. That minds can be deceived is also clear to see - but not when under such a deceit.
Uncovering deceit so as to 'put it behind me' is a matter of discernment. While triggered in hatred - no discernment is possible; one's mind is in a sense temporarily possessed or manipulated by conditionings.
Whatever challenges we meet in our life, the first call is to recognize our own part - for if we see ALL the causative responsibility or power OUTSIDE ourself, we are thus deceived into neglecting our part while hating or fighting or resisting the part ascribed to others.
Inflammation escalates a diseased state. Fanning the flames or fuelling fear with hate is not the Way - but is a further attempt to obstruct the Way - which must start with one's own healing (of perspective) - otherwise the hate-blinded lead the fear-blinded along the purpose of the power-blinded  which serves a denial of Life or death as if it were victory OVER Life.
While we let un-owned and self-righteous hate-reaction play into the role of 'enemy' such split-minded deceit finds reinforcement and justification to persist through all its conflicting parts.
There are many ways to say NO as an act of integrity. While also saying YES to an integrity of Life that may be heavily covered over by scripts of self-hatred and yet IS there to uncover and restore. It is not that any of us are 'good' persons - but that persona is the mask raised to conceal the fear and hatred of the self-conflicted.
No one IS their survival strategy. Everyone DOES their strategy - but largely unmindfully and in ways that trigger reaction in others. Mindfulness or awakened consciousness opens choices that fear and hate cannot allow if they are to survive. Each has the choice to identify in hate and vengeance or to be identified in a true extension of Presence. I write as part of illuminating that choice within a world predicated upon its denial. To take joy in pain is to sacrifice joy in Life to a false god.

I've come back to this thread to say that a strategic response to a situation and indeed a strategic identity is a way to lose freedom for the promise of getting there in some future moment or reclaiming a freedom believed lost as a result of the analysis of the moment at hand.

I'll add that this is the normal ,but is not the original nature of human being. Yet if it is the predominant belief structure it must be worked with to open it up to a more direct and less obstructive communication - or there will be no communication.

Such strategic analysis accepted and reacted from as true operates as a conditioning reflex that becomes in a sense and automatic response that maps out the situation in terms of definitions and meanings made and accepted in the past. Indeed the range of such judgements and strategies constitute one's sense of identity in the world; our conditioned sense of self. The sense of freedom of such an identity is freedom FROM perceived threat and freedom to maintain self-protection and prevail over such threat or at least keep it at bay.

The resort to offensive strategy as effective defence then follows and is justified by the perceived threat, and wounds from the past become valued and restated as value in supporting one's offensive or justified strategies of prevailing or manipulating outcomes and behaviours.

The 'chess game' of reading the strategies of others and developing counter strategies becomes the box within which thinking then has to operate to have any validity. One strand in the overall game of strategies is that of libertarianism. All strands operate and support each other as an identity in struggle or game of power - where power has been redefined in terms of minds that are equated with or limited to bodies, acting upon each other, along a set of meanings arising from the belief and experience one is not free, whole, and worthy.

THAT such conditioning occurs and becomes our personality construct is observable. But the capacity to observe it in act - within our own consciousness is itself an awakening of consciousness at a level that is not enacting the identity of conditioned reaction but free to accept it, or allow and invite a fresh perspective that is a current take on the whole situation - accommodating to one's readiness and willingness to accept and act from a perspective of wholeness. This is a spontaneous event and not the result of machinations of mind - and yet it may be filtered through machinations of mind as part of accepting it is in fact what is desired.

The be free flowing presence may be similar to being 'in the zone' because its spontaneity is in a sense quite thoughtless and selfless - yet not as a result of any denial or coercive intent to suppress or diminish thought or self. there is simple a sense of getting out of one's own way and allowing a unified desire - that is no longer oppositional to but embracing of all that is present in relevance and resonance to the current theme of focus and desire.

Oppositional will is a key idea in the redefinition or the negation of free will - which is prior to any idea or definition about it. Indeed  minds that think they are bodies may define freewill in body terms to act without restraint  - without opposition - and yet also to limit and restrain the acts of others that do not support or ally with their own ideal or idol or model of conditions that must be met for them to feel themselves free.

The shifting balances of meanings, judgements, reactions and perceptions that operate as the 'balance of power' themselves become the object of attention - to come up with strategies of negative cooperation in which self-limitation is imposed and accepted as an attempt to equalize or bring parity wherein specific points of focus are partially addressed at the level of behaviour - if not at cause. Such 'sharing' and 'equality' then becomes a new arean of offensive manipulation through which any minority 'victim' can become a proxy for a third party agenda to use to undermine existing levels of integrity and function - and indeed engage naked enslavement plunder and coercive dominion in the guise of regulatory capture and control through the ideas and identities developed in the attempt to become free. Beneath the mask of self-righteousness, is a blind hatred unleashed. Who hates themself but 'sees' the hated in another - and scapegoats them to satisfy a secret appetite?
The image I present here is ubiquitous as the deceiving device whereby shadow power operates a wolf in sheep's clothing. Using the desire to take offense, in the name of crying victim, within the guise of the suffering of others, as a manipulative device.
Fear OF communication is inevitable to the mind that attempts to use coercion in the form of communication and defend such a position as an agenda of power or indeed of notional security.
The deceit by which we subscribe to a currency of assertion of power over communication - over truth, is that in which the forms of truth are weaponised. But ONLY as one elects and accepts such a false frame of reference to cuckold one's true being.
So notice and discern and choose what and how you witness. For hatred feeds and fuels a false god. Love the true and realise what Jesus means by "resist ye not evil" - for that is its bait and hook to make you its own. Who loves to hate must fear to love - yet love alone reveals a wholeness of true being.
To love truth is natural to anyone who recognizes and releases attempts to love a power of self-specialness - as if it alone is true - set apart and against all else.

To reclaim true power is to act from it and in it and as it. To operate from a position of having been attacked is to use the ruse of one's wound to accuse and abuse another in like kind. That abusers learn the model of abuse is notable, but that this is the only or best model for relating is questionable and false. SOMEONE has to be willing to break the cycle and that someone can ONLY be one who owns a deeper honesty of being than vengeance and self-specialness.

Death and Taxes

A lie is a form of death to a whole or undivided awareness. As if a personal investment has spun itself separate of it true context and then spins a redefinition of its context to support the lie. Taxes are the overhead of maintaining a lie. Lies grew in the mind of Human a very long time ago such as to adulterate a true currency of Thought. However a lie feeds upon truth even whist denying it for there to be ANY true capacity to believe it or want to believe it. The parasitic mind of the lie interjects between a wholeness of relational being - between the need and the provider of need as the 'moneylender in the template' - and does so within the fear of fear or the wish to hide fear and escape magically by clever thinking. Devotion to the lie as if it is the truth of order against chaos, or power against powerlessness, relegates it as the lesser evil and therefore accepted conditioning from which one acts oblivious because it is not questioned or challenged - and to do so will merit rejection and exclusion from fellow devotees, as a lie must seek external alliances of reinforcement - positively or negatively, in attempt to validate itself.

I write at the level of consciousness. The world reflects back the ideas, beliefs and definitions that fruit in the various scenarios that unfold. The idea of coercing the world is the idea of coercing Life. Such gives rise to materialism of a sense of disconnection from the higher more inclusive levels of consciousness, and the will to power and its resultant spiral of reaction. Its war on symptoms and refusal to address true cause - always projecting it away onto the world in a device of diversion and division.

If the problem is a false foundation (re sentence 2 above), the answer is simply the recognition and release of the false - for the true is already there to replace it. The mind believes this is nonsense or heresy because it is the belief that it is the guide and protector of the self and all else is enemy. And so everything sets up as a defence of the mind that has been given a function it cannot really perform of fulfil, and as coercive control engenders reaction, so does it ratchet up the perceived need for more control. It is an addiction to a sense of power outside oneself that one otherwise lacks, and we 'get our fixes' in a multitude of ways of multi-layered complexity. False needs set up a false economy. Until the economy relates more to what is destructive to or undermining of Life than to any actual abundance, and yet the principle of abundance is simply operating in the negative, as an abundance of lack, of debt, of problem, of fear.

"Go forth and multiply" can be interpreted materially as is generally accepted, but it is the fundamental nature of consciousness itself - for what we give focus and desire and value TO by accepting as true of us - DOES go forth and multiply.

In respect of polarized arguments that fail to achieve communication, I invite the consideration of a third party that profits from such distractive device. In the world there may appear to be those who work to manipulate from the shadows while diverting attention with bait that sets the attention elsewhere. This is the pattern in the template of human consciousness as generally conditioned, that I draw attention to. Even if one can deal with one or more of the symptoms, the cause remains.

The cause can be compared to a bot-net of compromised computers that are not aware of being reprogrammed to operate a foreign will. This also occurs in many parasites in nature who have the capacity to alter the thoughts and behaviours of their host to act in the parasite's interest and not of the host or its colony.

A fundamental truth is that an unwatched mind has left the door open to any kind of thinking and often may not be aware of being deceived until a prodigal wasteland really hits bottom. Deception is a choice we don't know we are making. When we become aware it is a choice or the result of a choice, we are free to choose differently. More in align with who we know, feel and believe ourselves to be. And this resonates a wholeness of being; a joy within, even amidst adverse circumstance.

Creative endeavour is a collaborative synchronicity inspired by passion and presence both. It embodies and reflects an inner wealth of the inspiration and imagination to a shared appreciation, and a growth of a wider culture of valuing the source of the movement of true desire.

The shift into a negative or fearful imagination and agenda is evidence of a breakdown of communication within our own consciousness and not a proof of an evil will to be hidden or denied and yet lurking in the shadow to come out when 'justified' as vengeance or simply hate.

Vigilance, or being mindful of the thought beneath perception, and a willingness for discernment of resonance with who we truly are detoxifies the mind and brings it back to its core functionality. For like a government it is a servant of a greater - shared will. Not a mob mind or a lobby of coercive intent - but as the dynamic balancing of interests within consciousness - as opposed to the rational constructs that seem like good ideas but have back door agenda unbeknown to their followers.

One is simply not going to talk to the false identity and expect it to listen. But within every living call is the instinct to move toward nutrient and away from toxin, but the mind of fig-leaf justifications for false self-definition, would make the nutrient more fearful than the devil we think we know. Thus are we more than capable of believing we are choosing for our good - or against our greater evil, when in fact fuelling and maintaining the very framework by which we are unknowingly deceived. Witness the love of hating and the hate of loving - such that 'kindness' and smiles are used to mask loveless intent, and 'truth' used as a weapon for private agenda.

Sickness can be an evacuation or retching forth of what does not belong - and as such a process of renewing health. But to seek to get rid of our hatred and fear by scapegoating the other is a temporary relief that fuels a deeper cycle of suppression and inevitable crisis.

Bringing forth integrity of being through whatever we do and whoever we meet is not a call to sacrifice life to a moral coercion. It is to be restored to the joy of sharing life as an alignment and expression of who you truly are. The 'How' is usually demanded by fear of change; by the establishment. But one step at a time is an ongoing practice that shifts perspective from manually controlling life as if it is hostile to us, to an inner rebalancing and integration in flow - that includes and embraces and harmonizes the identification within the personality, so as to become more conductive to the intuitive AND truly intellectual qualities of expression, rather than locked into rationalisations of a failure to love. Love is an extension of the gift of Life - in all its qualities. To seek to make our self special is to reject the Gift in order to exclusively focus on our pet project - which can only result in a conflicted experience.

I write to add a perspective to the consideration that each is of course always free to receive or not, and accept or not, as is resonant and relative to the currently active purpose in the reader.

Original Nature and original sin

The investment oriented news and comment site 'The Daily Bell' is basically a libertarian orientation to economic, political and social ideas, institutions and events.

The IDEA of original sin has been almost universally interpreted and applied within the idea itself. Or it would not be original - but derivative.
The idea; 'sin' has become devalued as a useful term by being used as a WEAPON and shield for invalidating self and other and world by some idea of a rationality or power that is presumed 'without sin' - as the 'Judge' of self, other and world.
That IS the original error.
The 'error' by which one obscures and depreciates one's awareness of self, other and world, but the error cannot be observed with the mechanism of mind that the error gives rise to.
The mind that we presume to operate FROM is part and parcel of the world-construct as we define and experience it. But IT presumes itself apart from - so as to divide and define in terms of its own presumed 'power'.
Everything that proceeds from the father of the lie can only be the lie. In this sense the root is not in the effects but at the cause.
Original Nature is that which is believed to be lost, obscured, distorted, corrupted and usurped by (original) sin.
Original Nature is expressed as innate and inherent worth - that is not affected or edited or changed by anything one thinks or does - ever. And sin became the idea of uncorrectable error backed by an unyielding or fixed and merciless judgement.
But to sin is to miss the mark - not least because of aiming at a mistaken reflection of the target.
The paradox of nature and nurture reveals both AND more are actively one experience of cause and effect operating in TIME.
The 'more' is the embracing and pervading Consciousness of which a polarized mind in struggle and reaction is oblivious of and distracted from.
Greater perspective is not gained within the framework of the conflicted mentality - nor by a coercive attempt to enforce all but what the dominant power asserts 'rational or true' to be invalid, unworthy and heretical. So therefore to be denied.
The way the deception operates is from a level above or upstream to the apparent events and outcomes. The redistribution of blame does not ever address the cause - but perpetuates and propagates it in the guise of answer.
To address the cause, one must awaken as the responsibility at the level of cause. In simple terms one cannot change that which one has refused to own.
Original sin is not way way back in time - because the error persists and propagates moment by moment by moment... AS an experience of time in which cause and effect are NOT one but delayed, and in which delay it can seem meaningful that a loveless and coercive means could yet give rise to a love-worthy goal or effect.
Such is the person-prismed prison of the mind 'apart from' that identifies and operates 'over and against'.
"See what YOU made me" it screams, asserting its injustice as justification for hate and attack.
Power seeks only freedom to operate in - and then to progressively free itself of any adversity or obstruction that would hold it in check - which it 'sees' everywhere and in everything as an ever shifting delusional nightmare from which it refuses to awaken.
But is it power? or is it the grasp for power, the wish for power, the fear of losing power, the fear of powerlessness?
The power to heal is in us - as is the power to destroy awareness of the power to heal. But the effects cannot unmake their Cause.
Rationality is simply a subtle disguise for un-owned attempts to escape conflict of fear by denial, through personification of 'objectivity' that is then used as a puppet by unconscious and destructive drives to vindicate or validate that which has no basis of existence at all.
Rationality adopts the guise of Reason - which is Sanity of un-conflicted congruency.

Note that not only is the justification for coercion in the name of freedom blind to its own deception - it is actively defended against such exposure.
It is inevitable that the one who would reveal the falsity of an anti-terror terrorism be associated with the terrorist.
Is it not clear by now that the apparently opposing polarities share a single agenda!

Here is another reason to 'love thine enemy' - for it is the one who seems enemy to you, who brings to you the recognition of that in yourself which you judge against, and feel fully justified in hating and attacking.
"to arrive where we started. And know the place for the first time" is to recognize the entrance-ment to a mind/world of false division given to fear and hate - and see it meaningless.
When the false is undone, no truth need be asserted - but is simply evident as the obvious.
Freedom is known as truly aligned wholeness of being. Heart and mind as one.
Loss of freedom is believed and experienced in asserting misalignment as if to get to or become free.
The experience of a polarised and conflicted world will continue to intensify itself until the difference in each CHOICE is recognized. But true choice is only available at the level of Cause. All behaviours are conditioned by the Ideas that they embody. There is no freedom at the level of behaviour itself.
Trying to make it so is to deny one's cause.
Denying one's cause is the 'original sin'. Its progeny all persist the same patricide. This is evident as the patterning of the history of the 'independent power'.
Surface mentality is a mask by definition. It can serve as a lens of experience but can hardly be used to define the depth - much less control them. Yet such is the conditioned arrogance of human ignorance that believes it knows - yet has no peace of Knowledge.
Tyranny can and does express itself in and as any kind of form. If the imposed collectivism operates in denying expression of thought, the imposed market based 'individualism' operates in framing all permissible thought in an illusion of freedom in which token resistance, token freedom, token enemies, are allowed and supported and encouraged.
The sucker is the one who WANTS to believe they can get something for nothing, or indeed make something worthy out of an ongoing unconscious delusion by which he/she is cultivated.
The other sucker believes they can exploit suckers and retain their own integrity. But they prey to self-specialness and arrogantly assume 'power', elite status and except themselves from law until they can remake it in their own image.
It takes two to tango...

Howbeit we are deceived?

The issue of Geoengineering as a blight upon our world and our lives comes up from time to time. I came upon this site initially in the context of articles on the Middle East madness and then commented into a page on the 9/11 deception. In particular to one who themselves commented "How can so many be so deceived?"


Because they do not want/are not yet ready to face their fear.
Be aware that running away from one's fear does not portray itself as such. It will spin whatever story protects it and assert it true over and above any 'facts'. Have you any idea how powerful is the will in one's own perception as opposed to how weake it generally presents itself?
The reflections of the world can serve your awakening FROM what you took to be your own mind - or at least the thoughts you accepted true for you and have thus used as your foundation.
One way of looking at what is going on is that fear - indeed terror - is exerting an increasingly intense suggestion of commanding allegiance to ITS agenda and you and I are obliged to choose whether or not we want to live within its agenda and base our lives on its assertion of power. In its own terms it holds the power of death, destruction, depletion and desecration - for it makes all things in its own image.
But it only has the power we give it in fear of change perceived in terms of death, pain and loss.
These fears are coming up ANYWAY - and the 'world' the mind collectively makes to try to keep them at bay is disintegrating.
Waking up is not just to that the alarm clock is going off - but recognizing from outside the dream what that actually is as your own Call to Wake. So walk out of the dream/nightmare to the embrace and guidance and support of a dimension that one might call inclusive Consciousness rather than a world of mental displacements and separations.
The alarm is not to be denied. But the use of the alarm to persist in the dream is a subtle deceit of seeming to wake up - but persisting in the mentality that IS denial, that is mental sickness in all its legion of personae and devices that defend the sickness.
Change: you cant fit the new wine (Living Idea) into the old bottles (mental framework). The desperate attempt to do so generates the kinds of crisis we are calling upon ourselves.
So if you choose you can live in a reality where SHIT happens and adapt to that as best you can OR you can decide that SHIFT happens by MAKING THE SHIFT of perspective within your own consciousness that realigns you to who and what you Truly Are - and not persist in asserting what does not and can never work.
The demonstration and witness of this consciousness is what triggers the metamorphosis or shift back into a unified expression of Consciousness Knowing Itself through all its parts - rather than the grandiose adventures, discoveries and conquests of an arrogant ignorance fed with Life Energy to prevail over whatever any shifting aspect perceives as evil, adversity, opposition.
Everyone plays their part whether they know it or not, but the awakening part is the willingness to live and love anyway - any way that you make your own because it is resonant with your core being. Love as a word is degraded and disinfo'd - so let love be the willingness to see and be that which is real in any situation. Life happens through you - not to you.
Changing the channel is an alternate to compulsive fascination with horror, a channel of true worth shared is one from which it is natural and easy to wake up gracefully.
Perhaps the destination is simply that which facilitates the journeying.
Perhaps forgetting who we are is part of setting up the journey home. Why not?
A judgment of evil tends to be that which we judge against with most intensity - giving it our power and energy in a presentation that then perceives itself as righteous - at least relatively so.
Jesus story - not the disinfo of fearful separation interpretations of magical wish manipulation - speaks directly to human beings. Thirst for truth only rises in those who have been disturbed and exposed to their lack of foundation - or the adulterated and distorted confusions as to who and what they are.
Everyone chooses what they in the moment define to be in their best interest, without exception. The key word is 'define'. Freedom is at the level of evaluating the definitions that dictate our conception of our self, our perception of the world and our experience of acting in it. As you are no doubt aware the term freedom can be used for slavery. It is up to you to be clear or honest with yourself.

How can you deceive yourself? Just watch the mind. Humans are expert at using deception to generate particular kinds of experience for themselves alone. We've been at it for millennia - but is the game of mind alone worth the candle?

There is a way of looking at Everything that presumes it guilty first and then decides whether it can be used to promote one's private agenda or not.

This mentality runs somewhat secretly in most of us - unless so blinded by self-righteous hatred that we openly display it as if fully justified.

From it's perspective, everything that threatens or is not useful to its agenda is an adversary or adversity to be overcome. It uses whatever means are available to achieve its goals by persuasion, stealth and guile, or coercion.

It is incapable of communication - for communication is redefined by such a mentality as a means to get something or get someone to do or not do something and 'listens' only so far as to determine threat levels, and neutralise them - along with turning any form of the communication into ammunition for its own agenda.

I am describing a mentality that we can all recognize in ourselves - but which is in most of us recognised to be deceptive and mean-spirited or fearful. There is a growing embodiment of such mentality in our world - and while we consent to be fear-driven, it seems to shepherd us as if to protect us from our fears.

recognising a fearful and deceptive mentality becomes the basis of choosing NOT to use it - and pausing so as to discern a better way.

There is always a better way that acting out from a negatively defined sense of one's self - and that is from the willingness for a reintegrated sense of self.

That which we hate in others is that which we hate in our self. In the shadow of our own fear we hurt ourselves over, and over, and over again.

Therefore own our fears honestly and be willing to learn from them. This does not mean the lack of a firm and clear capacity to say NO! to unacceptable behaviour.

Are we to become the thing we hate... a terror state…?

Johnson said most Britons wanted “someone to come along with a bunker buster” and kill the man, reported to be British, “as fast as possible”.

But is not THAT precisely the aim and purpose of the video… to provoke such self-righteous hatred along with a blank cheque as to how it is used?

I am not an expert on Psy-ops but until a full investigation reveals the full facts, I see propaganda being propagated regardless of what those facts turn out to be - if they are ever discovered and published.

Those who WANT a war-mind are those who see it as furthering their own private agenda. If a majority of the population WANTS to be cathartically manipulated as if to scapegoat and kill their 'hates and fears', then they will choose to be so deceived to serve their own private agenda of remaining 'unconscious' and not responsible FOR that consciousness.

Wanting someone or something ELSE to make the bad feelings go away is the device by which evil seems to come into our world as a PROTECTION from a deeper fear. This is inherently a mentality of deception… "the lie and the father of the lie". If we personalise evil, we do so in order in order to separate from a mistaken sense of our SELF.

Radicalise is another name for polarise. There is nothing accidental about the concerted drive to bait populations into polarised and conflicted sense of themselves and their world.
Divide and rule has another polarity - and that is unify and communicate.
Denying the humanity in others is very likely to eventually make them cancerous to the whole - that is to seek out their own needs from under a sense of being denied by the whole.

Many 'in power' are seeking to act AS IF they represent and control in the name of the Whole - but they do not - or they would not need to use deception and force to achieve their/our aims. This kind of 'power' is also known as corruption, because a sense of wholeness of self is consumed and replaced by a hollowness of fearful disguise - that may promise all kinds of rewards, yet delivers only evaporations of indebtedness.

The US had 'Dubya' for a two terms, (before flipping to a seeming opposite polarity), so in that sense yes I can. An actor merely has to be able to play their part. Do you honestly believe 'leaders' are running their countries?

Nightmares are when what once seemed solid and rational suddenly shifts into a deceptive quagmire from which one cannot escape - not least because a dream never was what it seemed, and the persona that operates within it never was the one that makes the script.

Nightmares are (made of) unfaced fear. The personae often represent those aspects of ourself we have not yet recognised and reintegrated and focusing on personae operates as a way of protecting the fear from exposure.

Reflections on phishing scams and self deceptions

In a computer list-group the subject of phishing and malware scams comes up - as does frequently in news articles relative to hacking and snooping and using personal data for private agendas.
I started reflecting on the nature of scams and wrote the following:

Increasingly I feel that 'scams' are substituting for relationships of shared honour and integrity.

Phishing operates to seem like a known and trusted communication that purports to warn and or protect a danger or threat, or simply to offer special access to services or powers.

In a way a scam operates to take advantage of those who do not want to check in consciously with the legitimacy of a communication. This may because they want something offered such as a cheap or desirable bargain, to be true, or because they do not want a warned or reported danger or threat to come about.

In this way most of us are manipulatable in significant degree.

If a group of people dressed as policemen tell you to do something you will likely do it regardless that it goes against your natural inclination because we are conditioned to obedience simply from recognition of a uniform and associated behaviours.

Most people mostly 'play by the rules' most of the time, but increasingly, those in positions of power as a result of our extending such trust, act as if they own and have a right to such power, while we generally feel powerless and subordinate to be led or protected or receive service from such corporations or organisations.

'Keep one's head down and don't provoke reaction', seems to be what is masked within the sense of 'keep calm and carry on'. It isn't really calm for it is not a condition of peace in which joy and a discernment of what does not belong to joy are clearly and obviously communicated. It operates a kind of conflict avoidance. A risk aversion strategy that tends to back off and let 'others' or 'the rules' deal with or sort out any conflict situation.

In private mode, one might well engage in strong but private opinion and emotion, but this teds to 'express itself' in fantasy - apart from where dissatisfactions leak into our daily relationships. Hence the 'outlet' and apparent escape into tv, movies and computer games - but which generally feeds a negative loop rather than truly refreshing or recreational activity.

Conflict avoidance operates as a withdrawal of presence, a limited form of 'playing dead'. It is not that 'good men do nothing' which allows negative agendas to rise unchecked, but that true presence is blocked of its natural communication. In some sense guilt or a sense of personal invalidity operates to undermine ones sense of being able to tell the difference between true and false, as well as one's capacity or authority to call it out or give witness for what it is.

Clearly the nature of 'scam' is an art of deception that has evolved over generations and part of human consciousness for millennia.

Our first experience of deception is perhaps that of fooling oneself and blaming it on others. One can set up a mask of relative innocence as a protection from a conflicted sense of self. As a kind of escape from situations that in their moment are intolerably fearful or painful.

My sense is that all who come into this world learn 'the mask' and in a sense become it - or at least become confused with it in various ways and degrees.

the sense I have of negative agendas rising increasingly fearful within our world is a natural consequence of the confusions implicit to a masked sense of existence. It operates as a sort of tacit 'conspiracy' of negatively defined self interest. For fear is the substitution for a true sense of identity and existence, and if we do not challenge it and discern its true message, we consent to be dictated or ruled by it in exchange for a surface reality in which we are forever hiding from or even warring what lies beneath. It is true that the strategies of fear are loveless to all excepting a special and segregated sense of oneself alone - even when that sense extends to one's special others or group. 

To be exposed in such a mind is generally humiliating because one loses 'face'. One is revealed 'sinful' and thus rejected, reviled or invalidated as a human being. But no matter who might engage or join in such activity, the one whose judgement really cuts and invalidates... is one's own against oneself.

Once one acquires the belief of an evil or a shameful or inadequate sense of oneself, a split or segregated mind seeks to hide or mask it. While much of our social adaptation can accomplish this in ways such that this becomes invisible - because 'everyone else is doing it too' - there are pervasive aspects that remain active as an ongoing defence all the time that we seek to make unconscious - as if to thus make escape into a world without such fears - or at least a sense of our self free of them.

Truth needs no defence for it rests in its own appreciation, but a lie asserted in place of a true appreciation must be perpetually asserted, protected and maintained. This is what gives rise to a mentality of self-justification - which I sometimes call self-justifiction. In symbolic terms it is the mentality of the 'fig-leaf' in terms of a separated self-sense that lost awareness of Eden and took upon itself alone, that which once came naturally as a communioned sense of Life.

Clearly we all experience what we believe to be true even if later we discover it was an illusion, trick or scam. So at the level of our experience it is ALL true and there is no contest as to THE Truth. But a true reflection or expression of who and what we are, is what truly resonates and is relevant to the choices that you accept into your heart - not least because the movement of listening to the heart uncovers them there.

Housekeeping is a basic responsibility for keeping order by setting a clear unified purpose. When conflicted and divided purposes arise that bring conflict and division - and corresponding lack of peace, then it is as if one has a house of unwanted guests who do not belong here. keeping house is a realignment with what wholly belongs - such that attention or hosting services are no longer offered to that which does not resonate with the clear frequency of your presence, and so either they leave or one chooses to live where they are not.

This is simply the effect of living out from a clear and consistent sense of one's innate worth - not specially above or below others. And the underlying scam that would prevent such a waking and conscious act of living is a deeply laid habitual program within our subconscious mind routines.

It takes persistence to break the habit - but only of a clear choice taken in the now of the noticing of the old choice. For habits are patterns of choice.

It seems too much to pay to live as a responsible consciousness, because so much of what was kept hidden in defensive hiding mode now comes to the awareness - and at first seems overwhelming to eyes that have not yet learned to see in the light.

But the actual cost of asserting, maintaining and defending a desire to make unconscious, that which is rejected or feared, is incalculable - and wears out such that the very fears and guilts and evils that were supposed to be hidden, rise ever more as the reflection of our 'world'.

It is said one cant teach an old dog new tricks and there is truth in that for the patterns become too set. But it is also true that an old trick that no longer works obliges one to learn new ways to live.

The times we now live in are obliging humanity to wake up because the scam that was hidden is increasingly becoming exposed - and so cannot serve as a successful illusion. This is the calling and the opportunity to align with the choice of our hearts rather than be led by the mind which seems to have gone off by itself and has forgotten what love is and what we are.

But the same calling can be seen as the witnesses and necessities for ever more fearful defence against an ever more evil world. The essential event or information is interpreted through the core beliefs by which we identify within our sense of self existence. A negative or segregating self definition will automatically interpret everything to obtain reinforcement of itself, as will a positive or re-integrating sense of self-definition.

It is not the advertisement or the politician, nor the peer group or the family or the cultural inheritance or past conditionings that give the Word as to who and what you are, it is through your own heart's acceptance that what you are finds expression and reflection and is thus shared and known truly - rather than through a glass darkly.

This paragraph was in my morning reading (shared after I had written much of this reflection):

"If you do not believe that which is not Truth, you shall experience Truth. But if you choose to believe the false as the truth about you, you shall experience the false and believe it is true". From 'The Holy Spirit's Interpretation of the New Testament' (NTI).

The term 'Holy Spirit' symbolizes that which knows you truly and which has never left your mind - though it has in a sense been turned away from, discarded and lost. Just as a cut will self-heal, so does consciousness reintegrate - if the cutting desisted and the healing was welcomed, because in truth what is Indivisible never could be separated from or attacked with.

The nature of the scam of an isolated ego power unto itself has been to initiate a journey within perception and experience. It is our perception that is healed or reintegrated to a higher or more embracing inclusion.

Once one sees through a scam one is no longer tempted to click the bait. It is then no longer an active liability. The forms of scams are innumerable and can multiply faster than one can learn to recognize their forms - indeed will mutate as the very means to 'protect' from scams. But a core honesty of self can discern the coercive intent in any or all of them without having to follow their branches to discover their fruits.

To be in a true foundation IS the capacity to discern the same and is the frequency of attraction to like kind as it is unavailable to that which has no belonging or conceivable existence in such open communication.

Sufficient be the evils unto the day thereof means, 'use that which is still residual to your own un-mindfulness to awaken and reintegrate as a wholeness of being' - instead of using it to persist in self-justifictions that no longer actually serve your desire.

What's in it for "me"?

"What's in it for me?" is the disruptor of honesty. Its coercive assertion re-frames all meaning within the terms of a private separate competitive interest - essentially at war with all other presumed to be 'private agendas'. Real communication is impossible in such a framework - but the form of communication is utilized as a mask both in dealings with others - and as a validating reflector of 'self-will'.

Those who seek to be honest WITHIN the phishing attack of a thought-based identity are those who are willing to break their mask in order to align with power as it seems to operate within the mask. Such are those whose behaviour reveals the corrupting influence of power - writ large. But they are manifesting the original thrust of such a script in raw terms - which as it is unmasked, becomes a reflection from which others (and themselves) may awaken.

There are two ways of looking at things and two ways of hearing. One is from the perspective of "me", apart from them, with an interest in the "me". The other is from the perspective of whole, a body of one which is a totality of Self. In this, there is no "me".

The script seems to thus have two faces. One serves guilt, fear and coercion. The other serves healing and reintegration.

It is all a matter of choice. The nature of a coercive deception is a trick in which a real choice is hidden by a counterfeit suggestion which frames issues in terms that suggest a special personal power or gain - or indeed in terms of threat and loss to such a special personal sense.

Coming back to choice. We invest our energy of attention and intent non-stop - but what are the choices we are habitually making as a sort of subconscious default? For these ARE determining the meanings and values by which we perceive.

Giving love (what else is your energy and attention but the love that you are?) to that which does not know you, see you or communicate with you, is to take on board a composite of self definitions that adulterate and undermine and deny your nature as love - replacing it with a masked mind of guilt and fear and a sense of aggrieved self-specialness - aka rage.

Material accounting is a dalek's eye view of even the manifest Universe. Discernment of 'spirits' is of PURPOSE. A true purpose is not manipulative or coercive on Life, others or self. But to the masked mentality EVERYTHING is perceived as coercive upon it - because it does not look within to see that it is merely getting back the echo of its own shouting into a cave. Instead it looks to the mask that justifies itself to itself - and if that fails, to the mask of such hatred upon self. life and other as to be intolerable. (Hence the call for the mask).

One way or another (as you will) the masks are being exposed - laid bare as devices and stratagems of defence and diversionary distraction.

How one looks upon anything is a choice - but self-judgement is a choice to deny choice because it is too fearful - hence a control mentality imposes or interjects itself into the flowing flowering being that you are - and makes shadows of the Light.

To suffer mental and emotional conflict without investment in the appearances is to let it rise up and fade. To rest the mentality of self-will in an honest willingness of communication allows Life's Presence to rise as your native awareness - free of coercion - and that is one of the signature vibrations of your truth. Within this LIVING context, self-will or the personal sense has become an instrument of a greater communication and participance - for it is not 'going it alone' on a covert operation as if to 'become' something special in its own right for others to worship, adulate or applaud.

Everyone operates the Script - but those who lack awareness of their innate and integral worth and power will seek it and thus prove they do not have it - no matter how powerful they seem to become in their zenith.

The ideas of a 'hidden hand' are symbols of the two ways of looking. I also call them the wheat and the tares.

When the harvest is called in, all that is without true foundation is in a sense 'nothing-ed'.

A book I have enjoyed summarized itself thus:

"Nothing real is threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the Peace of God".

Identifying with the imagined and the expected and the personified opinion, seeks and applies endless answers to endless convolving and mutating problems - but the actual problem is closer than the world and is a breakdown in communication that operates through a lens darkly.

While one is tuned to 'radio self-wilful struggle' one cannot receive 'Radio wholeness'. Therefore challenge everything that upsets or provokes conflict and discern directly as to whether it is a 'phishing attack' or truly is addressed to You.

Symbols are part of the way that Consciousness communicates within the dream of an unsinkable separateness. But as we all know, symbols can be associated with meanings as things in themselves. That their is a voice for deception in our mind need no longer be pretended away so as to operate unchecked beneath our mask of rationality.

Where we turn for our source will dictate where we invest - and the fruits thereof.
