The emotion-backed opinion and demand that has been sold to the public as freedom to choose, market force efficiency and accountability for 'delivery', made into policy and legislation and enforced with self righteous blame and shame methods ... is coming home to roost.

Instead of a real relationship in which needs are discerned, and met proportionately with due priority, we have blind systems that divide everything into disconnected parts and then attempt to join them together in such a way as to tick the right boxes. We have people working so as to appear to be working or so as to account for their work in ways that undermine and disrupt their work.
That it is not bedlam is only because underneath all this nonsense, people actually care. They also care NOT to be vilified, penalised, deprived of funds or employment, and so mostly, common sense and uncommon discernment, are withheld from open communication.

Surely, the attempt to make humankind - and treat humankind in the image of the automaton, is simply a reflection of a certain kind of thinking - that itself is a loveless mechanical mode of manipulating externals with no regard whatsoever for the truth.

Now this mentality may seek to define truth and indeed prove that if there is such, it is current best theory or un-understandable scientific esoterica, but I am talking of the truth that can be felt, can be shared, can be honoured and trusted - and without which no human society or sanity is possible - indeed insanity depends on such truth to exist as a distortion - for it is a distortion of SOMETHING SANE.

What is the 'Second Coming' but the dawning in our mind of what is already in it but had been denied for self-seeking vanities? A Prodigal remembering.
And what is the emergence of the 'beast' but the exposure of the basis of a lovelessness which substitutes for a real relationship?

'It' will seek to apply ever more controls and rules and manipulations to 'engineer' a solution, but living relationships are not like mechanical systems that can be redesigned from an outside view, but must be rebuilt in trust and honest communication from within.

'Insanity who really cares, propaganda - all is phoney' sang Dylan. Opinion is a mask, we need to establish the conditions in which real communication can occur. We must grow trust from an honest account of where we really are - rather than presentations that meet 'correctness'. maybe it simply starts in our mind within ourself - but must extend as discernment and prompt call forth, or we deny the answers to our need.

Our thinking and therefore our culture has succumbed to a market based model. Not a market where shared value is exchanged in a just and trustworthy relationship - but where a corporate template mentality is applied. Soul-less.

One can find this almost everywhere and it has the same hollowness, the same lack of real communication, or relational service in which care and attention is given rather than a conveyor belt of logistical check boxes.

The mindset of divide and rule is part and parcel of the scientific mind - for it does not live as a true participant in relationship excepting as can be measured and quantified as data. Though there clearly is a place for it as a tool - it is not the basis upon which we should live because it lacks the essential human qualities that are tangible and innate to being a human being or a human family.

The Heart in its spiritual sense of wholeness, needs articulating in a way that calls the babel-like parts into a unified purpose, rather than seeking to impose a unifying corporate monoculture.

Cultural renewal is called for when it becomes apparent that our culture is bankrupt, not just in financial terms, but in vision for living, sharing and working together in shared purpose.

To light a candle rather than curse the darkness is to bring witness and true communication into play with all the force and compassion and patience of genuinely caring and not as grievance or blame based reaction. Education is something we can all share in, IF we are willing and actively committed to finding a better way.

We relied on rational systems based on our own thinking - but far from being rational, they have strayed from Reason as anyone can readily observe. The qualities of the heart are discernment, trust, willingness, patience, compassion, integrity and so forth. None of these are 'added' by head learning and the conditions in which they are learned or uncovered in our being, are those that honour (there's another one) and nurture the Heart in the way in which everything is done. For it isn't a datum thing so much as a qualitative context. Call it a pervading field such as the Higgs field - in which what matters is naturally discerned and given appropriate priority. Anyone can demonstrate the power of love - but in an airless place it is very hard to shine a candle - for the whole culture is stacked against spontaneity, intuition, and true involvement.

The brainwashed cannot feel directly and cannot operate outside the machine without a process of education in building trust. Our way of thinking blinds us to the most obvious of truths - and yet the distancing from each other has been a choice that reflects a distancing from ourselves. There will be no renewal without opening an intimacy of being both within and with each other.
Intimacy is not sex, but is known and shared in all these qualities above. The Heart needs witness, and the thinking has to give priority to and express the purpose of the Heart - to a Unified purpose that rises as our innate guidance, intuitive sense, wisdom, and desire - when the manipulative consciousness is stilled.

Any attempt to force against our will will work against us, we have to uncover a greater perspective than personal reactive 'protection' and make commitment to giving as we would ourselves receive.
And learn to discern what in we receive so as to not keep passing the sh*t around as blame, hatred, grievance and vengeance. Its a wake up call.

Care fees paid AFTER you die

Trying to control life seems natural to a selfishnessness that sees everything in terms of its own interests. But it always paints itself into a corner, struggles, wears itself out and dies.

The breakdown of economic capacity to support the extraordinarily complex and conflicted entanglement is the revealing of lost or false foundation.

Be willing to question the foundations of the beliefs and ideas that are expressing a failed culture as a living alternative to persisting in an old conflicted and conflicting mentality.

Old ideas had their time, but become idolized out of context. To live within a context of unquestioned beliefs which run like a template may appeal to manipulators - but there's no fresh and lovely Life in it.

To be baited or seduced into grievance and reaction is to be sold a sense of self righteousness in exchange for your Real presence.

Your Real presence can feel the same in others. Care for all that is truly Home.

Comments on UK NHS

 Sketches of comment added to a post calling for a more vocational culture to our National Health service.

The system of 'health service delivery' has been quantified and rendered into pseudo market terms. The processing of 'customers' often involves an impersonal lack of courtesy. The increasing reliance on ever expanding (costly) hi tech health management solutions - along with never ending retraining can lose all sense of proportion when basic nursing care human dignity is subordinated to mechanical functions. Love, to be itself, must be practically embodied. It doesn't have to be 'called' love - but it does have to be tangible care and not 'provision of care services'. There is so much in our current setup that works against the willingness of those who feel a vocational calling - in NHS as in the country as a whole. I consider it a spiritual vacuum - not in terms of religion per se - but in terms of a culture of inspiration, trust and cooperation. Relationships of trust cannot be mechanized In terms of incentives and real communication does not occur where there is lack of trust and of each other's worth. The NHS needs a spirit of renewal, a re evaluation in truth - and the economic aspects will then also find their due proportion. But this can only be part of a similar movement culturally as individuals speak and act in integrity with truth. Thats what renewal is - not a rebranding with ideas painted on and targets to indicate progress - but the green shoots that grow from those who have readjusted from outmoded or false mentalities and are daring to act from a fresh perspective.
It is a most wonderful thing that when any one of us needs help - help is given.
But we must be vigilant not lose the heart that inspires and underlies this willingness.

No more or less than any other health care service if it is found to be effective in practice.

A great deal of scientifically provable medical intervention is provably dangerous - often to society as a whole and not just the patient. It is also based on a model of invasive interventions to deal with the removal or suppression of symptoms and does not have a true or positive regard for health. Within such a culture the use of homeopathy is less effective because it is not the same order of intervention as a manually applied chemical force. It idealy promotes a response of the life energetic of the 'patient' such that the movement of health restores the psycho-physical organism to be aligned with life-expression rather than with siege of complex layers of psycho-emotional logjam.
It is my sense that the 'complex layers of psycho-emotional logjam' is of a wilful ignorance - an ego defence mechanism.
We (generally) do not accept responsibility for our thought and instead seek to indulge and exploit our self, world, each other - as if that were sane. This has a real cost as it undermines health of mind, body, culture and environment - and the ingenuity of man is set on finding ways to mask, mitigate and lubricate the continued suffering arising from living against the grain of our essential nature.
The NHS could be renamed the NSS - because it increasingly focuses on managing sickness. I write here to suggest that fresh approaches must begin with a discovery and appreciation of health - as a positive tangible spirit - with similarly tangible fruits. Perhaps one of the most beautiful of which is restored trust. You cant tell this to a thief and be believed. But breakdown of trust is the breakdown of the integrity of communication. This applies at all levels. The arrogance that would make of life a mechanism to require manual control by man - for his own selfish agendas - is delusional. How far this goes before the bubble bursts is anyone's guess.
Suppressing life force is not a long term proposition - no matter how well it is presented as protection and rationality. The NHS needs a framework of thought that allows a practical love - to be given its rightful authority.

Love is not a lab rat. Therefore it either doesn't exist or - is illusion. (sic)
Consumers are lab rats, and are just as manipulatable in terms of the 'industry' of sickness as of any other 'service'. We are in relationship - and need to live from and within relationship. This is not a contract or pre targeted - it is a dance in which life reveals itself whole.

Meanwhile, use whatever common sense works. until something better replaces it. The idiocy of 'new ideas' ignorantly applied is as wasteful as old ideas kept past their sell by date.
