Orthodox Quackery and the Throwing of Stones

I missed the comments window for this opinion piece in the Guardian online:

Don’t call believers in homeopathy idiots – it will push them further from science

Perhaps this is a rant with an agenda - but I state my desire is to honour and protect choice against the kind of deceits that would assert a pseudo scientific 'consensual reality' by law upon populations - actively regulating in favour of exclusive and coercive cartels of power and wealth extraction or asset stripping from the Living Body of Humankind.

Surely the belief that the cartel of corporate pharmaceutical and so called 'food' conglomerates are actually involved in health and healing or training doctors or the Good of Humanity is a bit too far fetched now for anyone to swallow it - unless of course the they've already swallowed the baiting of fear along with all the toxic and health undermining drugs, chems and exposures that then enable it to manifest in a slow motion suicide - for yes - until one is forcibly injected or administered or subjected - there are health CHOICES. And even so, there is a choice of Spirit or Purpose by which to shake off, and work against the usurping and undermining of true health.

'Vatican style' control mentality is alive and well in a vocal agenda hiding behind a mask of scientific militancy - who are only given encouragement because the particular targets are becoming themselves significant $$$ interests - as a result of choices made despite all the propaganda of an old paradigm. The health scam is as much the fear that gives power away as the fear that seeks to take it away.

Iatrogenic disease is a scientific name for sickness CAUSED by medical interventions and no statistics or protocols are in place to ascertain the true account - but is likely the third most likely cause of death in the US - and likely similar in other 'developed' countries. The Pharma farms a sickness but is fronted by reputable institutions, a cowed media and a false scientism that the lower ranks do not or dare not question or challenge. No the valiant defenders of the faith go after 'Homoeopathy'. Oh brave and dedicated champions of truth! Let power and wealth set off a meme and the mob take it up and enact it for free.

I recommend people tune in to an inner honesty from which to discern the nature of their condition, what their own part in it may be, as well as what it may be serving them or message it may be bringing them, and follow such discernment as to who and where and what they then meet in the willingness to health. If you want to have your sickness managed with things that make you sicker then that too is a choice. And regardless of all science pretends to know or represent, there are other ways or kinds of knowing and healing than patented drugs™, regulatory protections and cartels, and media propaganda.

Now are people idiots who give their power and trust to those who knowingly or unknowing do not know or care as to the causes and cures of sickness - excepting it is provides an ongoing revenue stream and an upholding of the model by which  a 'scientism' usurped a true scientific endeavour?
They may seem to be making idiotic choices as a result of the perspective of other choices by which they blinker themselves, from which in time, they will learn, one way of another - in this life or the next.

I wish you all true health and happiness - even those who do not believe in happiness - but substitute it with the seeming power and status of getting more at someone else's expense and passing off as real.
As for associating My Corbyn or anyone else with perceived invalidation - the trick will start to backfire. A coercive agenda is neither science, nor communication, nor an honest integrity of relationship. It is hollow will directed by fear and fed with illusion. Just say 'No!'

Homoeo-phobia or attack on Consciousness?

Ars Technica published an article on homoeopathy that felt to me to be propaganda for a personal agenda rather than sharing communication. The attack on homoeopathy is a current political agenda being driven by a self righteous and arrogant materialism that may or may not know it fuels and furthers pharmaceutical monopoly.

 - - -
I wrote this to the article and the commentators who associate truth with arrogance:

Once people believe something true, it is accepted as a foundation from which to interpret, experience and relate within - as if such an identity is in fact who and what they are and as if the world actually is as their thought defines.
The identity then naturally forms to seek validity and reinforcement and to resist, overcome or avoid threat to what is held to be true and one's self - and thus operates as a distorting filter to the actuality of what we truly are in asserting a bubble reality that can just as well align with fearful self-denying belief as with loving self-extending belief. Indeed belief can operate a reversal of consciousness such that love is redefined as fearful and fear redefined as protective to oneself against 'fearful' love. The 'need' to be right riding roughshod over the will of others just as it does within one's self.
That belief works is evident. The power beneath belief is the power in and of which reality is experienced as point of view. The attempt to manipulate belief or use it as mask merely adds levels of complexity and confusion over what is actually believed.
The belief we have and are a power unto ourself over life and self and others is 'playing out its bubble reality'. But the belief and the wish that causes us to want to accept it is at a cost of a true awareness of the power and nature OF consciousness AS reality - which is unlimited in its integrity as in its scope.
Wholeness IS health. Division and conflict operates sickness as a scam, as a racket. As a device through which to assert power to separate will over Life. Not that this applies to the one suffering their belief for they know not what they do, because they know not who they are.

So then challenge your belief system by doing a homeopathic proving. See my response above.

I replied:

I have experience of homoeopathy 'working' despite or regardless that I did not believe it would work. I cannot tell you 'how' it worked - and I cannot tell you how this ever present moment of awareness exists. In fact there are innumerable aspects of 'how' that are beyond my capacity to know - and as I am not seeking to know in that sense - I don't need to know. I am communicating without knowing 'how' - although the mind can overlay all sorts of models as to what it wants to believe is going on. When people invest exclusively in one true model, they become ignorant of other perspectives and arrogantly seek to prevail. It doesn't matter what the model is, its an investment of identity.

I don't feel any desire or need to prove anything to anyone, nor to apologise or justify my own experience of being - and I extend the same freedom I accept for myself.

Controversy and conflict are attractive and exciting to some. I feel inflammation is a term for sickness. One can scratch it and manage it and make an identity out of it but it is not truly joyous. Each to their own.

A cure is a reawakening of conscious health - not merely management of disease. Materialism limits humanity to mechanism. I'm ok with noticing mechanism in act but not with the drive to control Life thereby. I am still in the Science that seeks to uncover what is already true, rather than assert an establishment model in the name of the one true way. Frankly I see scientific establishments as corrupted by corporate agenda and their ego or self-image. Not that scientist are unworthy but that scientism is used as part of managing perception - which is neither the job of science nor an honourable intent.

Ultimately, whether something is 'true' is not an asserted definition so much as a yielding whatever obstructs awareness of it. I clearly 'come from' a different set of presumptions than you - but that doesn't mean I don't honour your own unique journey of discovery.

I received this in return:
Good on ya'. Its nice to exchange with someone who actually has experience with homeopathy. I didnt read that into your post. I assumed I was dealing with the usual so-called "skeptic" whose understanding of homeopathy is limited to an intellectual level: "its too dilute; it violates the _known_ laws of chemistry and physics therefore it cant work"

I find it so often, this unwillingness to challenge ones own paradigm. I was there at one point, myself. I decided for other reasons that my life wasnt working, so I decided to start getting out of that box and trying other approaches that challenged my beliefs. Some worked, some didnt but it got me out of my very circumscribed way of thinking and being.

I think a homeopathic proving conducted by "skeptics" would work on two levels. They would have a direct experience which is more powerful than an intellectual understanding AND they would have objective data that they could evaluate.

To one who chose to ridicule our conversation:
Funniest thing I've read in a while.  Thanks!  I guess my 'spirit' needs some kind of a tune-up so I can understand things on a higher level.
_

Flippancy will one day flop and flip. Enjoy yourself - but of course. But neither you nor anyone do not owns or controls a 'Spirit' and the illusion that you do (as an 'independent thinker' is the basis of believing that your own understanding has usurped it. And while your control reflects your confidence, you may swagger as you will. What is generally presumed to be 'understanding' cannot but eclipse more inclusive perspectives - for all that a higher level is, is a matter of perspective - not of personal status or accomplishment.

Nothing is so blinding as the belief one already knows. When you need to understand on a higher level you will find your own way to access it, but while you don't it is in the pile of discards.

Yielding what we think we know is the way to access perspective. If what you have works for you, why demean or invalidate what others find working for them? Is that not an insecurity on your part? Is resort to ridicule the first sign of an un-owned self questioning?

 interjects another:
"Your dealing with a dog that wont let go of this bone".

No I am sharing a willingness without coercion or persuasion. The attempt to change others only invokes opposition and defence, whilst revealing one's own need to seek what one must therefore believe one lacks.

The mind in argument with itself sees argument everywhere by putting it there. While victory seems meaningful, such conflict will be treasured. But when it is seen to cost one's treasure, it will be abandoned.

Some things that touched me in times past, flowered in their time of readiness. Who is to judge?

To others comments on the placebo effect:

Prozac is a placebo with additional payloads. Internal reports revealed placebo to be 100% as effective as prozac. Public reports edited that to 80%. The nocebo is also very effective - such as being told you have only a few months to live. Placebo is much much more pervasive in everything including the 'power of the established reality'. Belief - like so many things - has surface masking complexities and primary core components. As a surface masking persona, you have no capacity to challenge or question or believe core belief because the persona is made OF it and to hide or protect it from exposure.

Consciousness is not the 'hard problem'. It is the soft and permeable Answer - but only to a like willingness and not to the set of rigidly defined self-assertion. Arrogance and ignorance operate self-delusion. Willingness Listens, discerns and conducts.

Someone responded to my posting with a phrase as if I had written it:

[Hi. I came here to claim that magic is real]
You are welcome to your self-empowerment philosophy. I think you're a loon.
My reply to them:
Did I write "I came here to claim that magic is real"?
Actually?
No - that is a personal interpretation.

Interpretation is a kind of magic. It can make things seem to be other than they are.
That it occurs is real, The experience one gets from it can be considered really experienced, but the interpreted reality is not true.
What I think of you says more about me than it would about you so I use what I think to learn more about what is running beneath my thought.
What you think of me is not my concern. That you extend some sense of a communication is received gratefully.
The power of the mind is unlimited - AND it can create the experience of being an almost powerless but separate mind within an external reality to which it is almost entirely subject. Of course one is free to believe whatever one chooses to accept - but having laid a foundation, the rest will follow within the parameters laid down - unless the foundation is brought into question.

I believe that much of what is generally accepted as 'my thinking' is a sort of surface routine that is a running of background processes that are not true of us at all.

A fresh perspective is called for

No more or less than any other health care service if it is found to be effective in practice.

A great deal of scientifically provable medical intervention is provably dangerous - often to society as a whole and not just the patient. It is also based on a model of invasive interventions to deal with the removal or suppression of symptoms and does not have a true or positive regard for health. Within such a culture the use of homeopathy is less effective because it is not the same order of intervention as a manually applied chemical force. It idealy promotes a response of the life energetic of the 'patient' such that the movement of health restores the psycho-physical organism to be aligned with life-expression rather than with siege of complex layers of psycho-emotional logjam.
It is my sense that the 'complex layers of psycho-emotional logjam' is of a wilful ignorance - an ego defence mechanism.
We (generally) do not accept responsibility for our thought and instead seek to indulge and exploit our self, world, each other - as if that were sane. This has a real cost as it undermines health of mind, body, culture and environment - and the ingenuity of man is set on finding ways to mask, mitigate and lubricate the continued suffering arising from living against the grain of our essential nature.
The NHS could be renamed the NSS - because it increasingly focuses on managing sickness. I write here to suggest that fresh approaches must begin with a discovery and appreciation of health - as a positive tangible spirit - with similarly tangible fruits. Perhaps one of the most beautiful of which is restored trust. You cant tell this to a thief and be believed. But breakdown of trust is the breakdown of the integrity of communication. This applies at all levels. The arrogance that would make of life a mechanism to require manual control by man - for his own selfish agendas - is delusional. How far this goes before the bubble bursts is anyone's guess.
Suppressing life force is not a long term proposition - no matter how well it is presented as protection and rationality. The NHS needs a framework of thought that allows a practical love - to be given its rightful authority.

Love is not a lab rat. Therefore it either doesn't exist or - is illusion. (sic)
Consumers are lab rats, and are just as manipulatable in terms of the 'industry' of sickness as of any other 'service'. We are in relationship - and need to live from and within relationship. This is not a contract or pre targeted - it is a dance in which life reveals itself whole.

Meanwhile, use whatever common sense works. until something better replaces it. The idiocy of 'new ideas' ignorantly applied is as wasteful as old ideas kept past their sell by date.

Perspectives on health

Perspectives on health - comments to Guardian online

A comment offered into the comment section of this page entitled '

Homeopathy doesn't work. But are the claims for other medicines any better?'

The article relates to a campaign against homeopathy, and a broader take on the whole pharmaceutical industry.

I have found it interesting to read some of this thread.
I see apparently conflicted perspectives many of which 'need' each other or have value only in reaction to the other.
I see ill health as being of a similar conflicted nature and many current efforts to 'cure' (or these days 'manage symptoms'), are interventions of force applied to specifically identified cause and effect aspects of the living system as they are currently believed to work from the view of analysis and study of mechanical relationships.
I am more attracted to focus on health than on sickness - particularly as a participant in a living relationship. I invite looking at the context within which we are operating. Why? Because to seek externally for answers to a conflict that is ultimately within us - is delusional.
I do feel we need stepping stones in the process of releasing a mentality of control, usurpation and denial - that is evident as the egocentricity of human arrogance expressed as independent will. For where our faith is given - so must we believe.
There are those who wish to manually control life - and seeming for a while to succeed, but only create more problems. Thus there are also those who are recognising a need to co-operate with life. And there are some who come to recognise life as unified being whose shared power is accessed by the act of extending intimate trust.
The effect of fear is fragmented - and loveless perception. But no matter how many engage it and act it out on each other, our bodies or on our planet - the underlying or innate unified unconflicted nature of life at its source remains accessible via trust. There's no ego in this, no market, no self gain to be gotten, no interest from those who are intent on life as they define it to be either. But there is an awakening as if from a mad dream. And life - while not really definable - is known and shared in joy, peace and love in all its nuance of expression. The devil is the reflection of our shadow self. To fight it is to feed it.
Anything that serves to enlighten our heart and mind helps dispel ignorance - but nothing is so ignorant as human thought worshipped as truth.
Comment to me:

Does that mean we can ignore the the rest of that incomprehensible post?

My further posting:

It would seem that in your case it does.

But consider the admittedly absurd principle that a self can attack itself - this is already true of many medical conditions as well as many 'cures' that cause harm.

Amongst other things, I am suggesting that the sense of 'self' that is generally acted out from - is of a false and ignorant nature that is pervasively undermining of the health of the body, our relationships and society, our environment and world - and our joy in life.

Now that last one to agree with that will be anyone committed to identifying and acting such a self. But not everyone reading here is locked into believing that they - or reality - is as they think it is.

As for trials of homepathy - I don't see how it can be done - any more than non violence could be lab-tested as a strategy in a conflict. It isn't the application of an external - but the activation of a process. If there is a measurable potency to homeopathic medicine then I am not aware of anything that can measure it yet - excepting a resonant patient.
Homepathy is one approach among many that is seeking to work with the Life force - by whatever name - towards restoring health. Mental obsessives may not feel the life force because their sense of judgement and control is more important to them. But they still live by it, in it and are expressions of it.

Human thought? - yes ok, point taken. Wisdom can express through human thought but I see it as a process of discernment - so that it is of the nature of a present gift rather than a process of computation based on interpretations of past data.
