Offers a portal for Idea as creative art in life rather than ideology of investments and private agenda.
However, it is a video channel without transcript and so it takes a linear process in physical time to watch the conversations take place. Perhaps this enourages participation beyond skimming for those who give their time, but I would see a transcript as a much more available medium of communication to complement the videos.
Beyond Truth and Falsehood: What is real?

Definition is fundamental to ALL that follows from it.
That which defines all things as relating within Itself is First - and cannot be Itself defined.
But all that relates within and as the extension of Source is of the same kind, and thus creates or extends idea within itself likewise.
The temporary expedient of defining Truth or Reality in image of symbol and idea generates a perspective of self differentiation from Totality and yet shares that perspective within totality. There is no separation.
But the experience of self differentiation may be explored or focused within such as to experience separateness within Mind whose nature and function IS Communication.
The segregative self-sense generates and depends upon an almost exclusively physical framed 'reality'. For there is no other way to maintain such a 'self' but through the denial OF Consciousness in the assertion of conditionalities that effectively generate transactional 'reality' in place of the Gift of spontaneity of a synchronous and unified expression of life.
To the segregative self, reality is war in which all things essentially conflict - and yet within which is a temporary assertion of survival attempt to make tolerable and wherever possible, to extend any capacity to prevail over or exploit the externalised world - for this is the coercive movement by which the creative is confused within the created - as a result of taking image or definition OF Self - AS Self.
When the coercive movement is recognized false, one yield to Source and are restored to true perspective.
However what is true OF you is not within definition so much as a clarifying and transcendence OF self-definition.
And so it is true that war 'survives' or persists as the sacrifice or covering over of truth. But whatever is acted out does not and cannot change the truth of you - because the truth or existence of you - (the very awareness of existence that is you, regardless what definitions are accepted and engaged in) - is Eternally changeless though experienced in infinitely rich perspectives that embrace and transcend linear time or locational properties of space.
What you choose - knowingly or unknowingly - to accept as true for you - must 'create' your conception, perception, and behavioral response that you have and share as your experience of Life.
But the level of such definition is largely 'hidden' in unconsciousness, and guarded by psychological defence AGAINST exposure, by the personality construct that you take to be yourself.
It IS a working focus within a physically experienced reality, but it is the vehicle or channel of You that has - in a sense - lost the signal - and seems to have got lost in a will of its own that is effectively acting against its own good and burdens itself with attempt to manage or control reality.
The idea of controlling reality is the idea of forgetting its nature. There is nothing 'outside' whereby to leverage excepting in agreement to play the game of being 'outsiders' who know not what they do - and who therefore make their OWN definitions and fight over them as if the truth is at stake.
True relationship is easy because is requires nothing of us - being already the case. Yet is impossible while we define it lacking and attempt to change its condition from a belief in unworthiness of relationship.
Blessed is the one who releases their self-certainty of experience in willingness to let truth be uncovered by which everyone and everything involved is recognized within a greater perspective.
There is no escaping the Embrace of our true Existence - but there is a wish to distract attention within a focus of self-specialness fueled by fear of love that does not know love's gift of unique creational participance as true living - and perceives only threat to its investment of identification in manual and magical control over life.
All realities are valid experience but all realities of experience are not relevant or resonant to the theme and signature vibrational reality OF you.
Getting in direct communication with your core being may be via the experience of recognition of what and who you are NOT. Therefore unreality or untruth serves purpose - albeit unknowing.
All things in the 'world' correlate or resonate or symbolically communicate aspects, facets and qualities of consciousness within, or prior to their embodiment. The light of the projector is prior to the film or the image on the screen. Light is shining. Mind is projecting What you give out is what you get back. But first recognize and own what is already being believed and reacted from, for one cannot change what one has not yet owned.

Science as rebellion?
The Institute of Art and Ideas - offers a rich and exciting willingness to question, to revisit or revise our ideas and our world with new perspectives.

Blessed are those whose intuitive faith challenges their experience, because our experience is a constructed reality of belief and definition, accepted true.
Believing is seeing, but of course what one says one believes is belied by one's actual experience and the inevitable reactions that automatically follow on from whatever interpretation IS currently operating.
The underlying 'revolution' is a separation device operating in consciousness whereby a mind seems to have become itself alone in conflict of identity and world in chaos that it takes as the basis to assume and assert power over itself and its world.
The intent to define and understand in this sense is an assertion of control imposed upon a natural order or relational unity that has been/is being temporarily disrupted by the separation device.
One can symbolize this and that's the way the older approaches to knowledge operate, in symbols that used archetypes to story the reflection of consciousness itself - that increasingly became disconnected from original context and became used more as modus of social control.
The reversal operates such that we become defined by our own conditioning, that is like saying we believe our own lies or fall under the spell of our own Word.
So it is appropriate that what seemed to 'get us locked into' limitation, conflict, and a disconnected sense that attempts to use its externally mapped world of others to 'fix or resolve or work out' its own 'salvation', validation, or however it so defines itself justified or complete.
Curiosity and imagination can be used to question the basis of our 'self' and its corresponding 'reality'. For not only is there no separate 'god' acting upon or coercing a Living Universe/Multiverse into existence, there is likewise no separate 'self'.
The layer or level of mind is but one facet and itself operates many levels at once - unconscious, so-called conscious, and superconscious - and we generally assert our surface consciousness to be ON TOP rather than notice it screens a selective focus of possibility from a vast range of probability of a truly infinite range of potential.
Human 'reality' is in some sense like a sandcastle upon an infinite beach - or a bubble in an infinite breaking wave - yet the power of the wave is in it, and the focus of the desire and intent that Life Know Itself guides, moves and supports it. For there IS no actual separation or disconnection from That which moves and gives form to the Formless. Nor can one use the vocabulary-ability of a separated self-sense to objectify or make coercive relation with it or under it.
Anything undertaken from the basis of a dis-integrating movement brings the reinforcement of a dis-integrated self and world; a self in pieces. Humpty the broken cosmic egg-o.
So yes; the willingness to accept that we do not KNOW operates to allow the Knowing that is the Communication of the Whole as the Part, and through the Part in communication extended and relationship embraced. The nature of Reality that is unchangeable is that existence is; and that the one is the all and the all are the one, and that what one puts out is what one gets back.
Such is Creation - not of a separate and separating 'god' but in God of God and as God - for That which Is is, but how you - as an integral expression of All That Is - choose to experience existence, is through the sharing of and in and as Idea. No way of experiencing - or rather - of being the gift-communication of experience itself is in itself more or less valid that any or instant or facet of Creation - not least because nothing is in and of itself alone and apart to be so judged. But what is or is not relevant and resonant to YOUR core signature vibration of focusing desire and exploration is natural to disregard in the creative unfolding of the revelation of ever novel ways to experience and relate and feel and know.
All 'self's' operate against their own Good when they are defined in misalignment with their true desire. Protecting the joyless by sacrificing one's joy is absurd seen in the clear. But the mind protects against being seen in the clear for fear of loss and of change of pain and loss, by which it has conditioned itself to survive against.
Coming back into alignment is also the uncovering of a greater clarity of purpose, of vision and of a more integral meaning from which to live and be. It is our natural inheritance from a prodigal exercise within 'as if' - for Source remains Is - and you Know "I am" as your own Indivisibility of being - regardless that the mind can play divide and rule upon its own models. 'What' anything is and how you choose to relate to it be seem to be conditioned and determined by a universe of cause and effect - but any of this can be challenged back to uncover its roots in the Word or definition/belief we put out - in the understanding that the collective agreements constitute a structure of experiencing that like a classroom, is not an authority to overthrow or a prison to break down - so much as a living framework of opportunity for teaching and learning in rich reflection and shared appreciation.
The mind of revolution/evolution can fade to the appreciation of mind as servant and instrument of truly creative freedom shared. It really is a matter of 'where we are coming from' rather than where we believe we have been and thus are conditioned to repeat round and round in revolving whilst ever struggling to evolve within such self conflicted futility.
Science is a valid exploration within the willingness to uncover truth. But without the love of truth there can only be assertions, coercions and war to establish the version that serves whatever it is that one is choosing to love INSTEAD. Consciousness is inherently responsible in the clear for it sees that it does unto itself. Questioning a version of consciousness that refuses to pause and open to revisit its foundations is not an act of war but of love, though not at first recognized such in a mind that believes division and control as the condition on which its own existence depends.

Libertarianism or freedom?
Commentary to article on the Daily Bell regarding Conservatism and Libertarianism - with reference to various other ism.

Regardless of any forms of thinking, they can be used to substitute for the freedom and communication of shared and embodied idea - and thus become a separation device for a coercive or mechanical subjugation of the living idea to the dead concept.
The freedom of idea creation and its embodiment cannot be got rid of, because it is you, but can seem to be lost to self definitions of a coercive intent. That we then seem to suffer within our consciousness and by reflection
While we merely react to, we persist in, and experience and identify as. This merely re-enacts past decisions or interpretations in perhaps new clothes.
That we are not merely reactive mechanism to be programmed, managed and subjugated is not proven by taking the bait of opposing such idea - but by embodying the freedom and communication of the shared idea. Of unalloyed inspiration.
The shared idea is not coercive upon us but reveals us to ourselves and each other. To the mind that is engaged in conflict and identifies itself thereby, the shared nature of existence is 'game over' and so it is predicated on persistence against all odds - and ultimately against all that lives. Fearful survival as a psyche, identified exclusively with the body.
Such mentality of a segregative self is blind by choice, though it insists there is no light or that it has killed it or been somehow abandoned. Its foundation depends on knowing not what it does and of course it redefines freedom in terms of the separated and secret self interest, which embodies as a 'war of powers'.
To be unconflicted in oneself is to embody the freedom to communicate within oneself such that nothing is denied or rejected. But what is chosen from all the strands that are presently moving, is that which is relevant and resonant to one's joy.
Enlivenment is not really a resurrection, so much as the sloughing off of what does not serve nor belong to us in our connected joy. If libertarianism is not an expression of the freedom it purports to aspire to or deliver, then it has been 'infiltrated and usurped' by a loveless or joyless intent.
Good News! A loveless of joyless intent has been uncovered whereby to own and release and thus more freely embrace and embody joy. If not for the feedback-reflections of our interaction we would not uncover our own self-imprisonments - and so gratitude is due to those who bring us such realisation - though they know not what they do,
The discovery that the light is not dead, nor absent, nor rejecting one's sense of self, is profound. A foundation uncovered that replaces that made in fear and darkness. Learning to live in true alignment amidst the old habit mentality is like a struggle - but is really a persistence and consistency of valuing one's self. This is inextricably linked with our valuing of each other and of Life - with a capital L - for life is not as we define it. It lives us and our experience of it is via the definitions and beliefs we choose and accept.
Perspective is always available, but identifying exclusively with a segregative mentality foregoes perspective to follow its own thinking. This is simply a matter of awakening responsibility as Consciousness. Yes, a capital C!

Ideas worth 'spreading'
I just noticed the TED branding and felt to also note that Mind shares or extends what it accepts, and thus gives as it receives. What you accept into you mind is validated in you by sharing it.
There is a deep level of this that cant easily be talked of - but all our actions and words are expressing or extending the ideas that we have accepted as our self and indeed our reality - and so we teach what we are... to ourselves - and each other. But what we learn is not forced upon us for we are free to accept what is in our minds, as it is - or as it is presented.
That is to say a conditioning can be observed and disregarded such as to accept a fresh appreciation of reality - and live out from there.
The undiscerning acceptance into our minds of thoughts and intentions and stories that undermine our integrity and our peace - perhaps for some short moment of personal thrill or satisfaction, or to maintain an imaginary facade we wish was true - leads to the undermining of true communication and culture.
Ideas worth sharing are not only the articulation of thinking that inspires or awakens a sense of life's value in wonder and appreciation - but the ideas that we live out from as our current sense of value.
The seeking of control over communication is part of the mentality of the wish to be special. We all can readily observe this in our own consciousness. Yet the valuing of the conditions in which true communication can occur is the willingness to enter into communication open-minded, listening attentive and in an extension of trust and shared value.
The egoic mind is reactive and obfuscates such as to disconnect or introduce distraction or noise - yet a persistence in listening will uncover our own resonances to such and enable us to move free of them in ourself - and thus be more aware and discerning and less easily baited or provoked.
Ideas worthy of sharing are those that share value rather than seek to own or control it; giving as we would ourselves receive.

Out of our Nature - out of our mind!
David Attenborough: most of the world's population are out of touch with the natural world - an article in the Telegraph
It is even more true to say most are unaware of their true nature. The 'world outside' is simply replicating our inner mindscape. Change the mind and you WILL see differently!
The defining and rationalizing commentary mind is not in touch with nature - but with a distorted and filtered virtual mapping of Life. Of course we are not really IN our virtual reality - no matter the forms and ascribed meanings of our experience - but are direct expressions of Life or Mind.
"Be still and know God" is a bit like 'shut up and listen!
To the 'thinker' such absence of distraction is an exposure to a nothingness or a lack of support or soil in which a 'thinker' can maintain itself as if an independent autonomous existence.
BUT whatever our programming, the event of meeting Life in a wild creature has a deep recognition or stirring and a sense of wonder and blessing.
Wilderness and the Natural world speaks of a time and place unspoilt by human thinking and is therefore 'medicinal' to our own need to release the crap we accumulate that covers over and pollutes our awareness.
To worship nature is a mistake - though to recognize and worship Life in anything and everything is to undo a mistaken self-separateness.
There's room for scientific endeavour, but if there is not a true relationship within our own mind - then it follows as night follows day, that we will be untrue in all our relations.
The scientific fear is that we are nothing in a meaningless and yet often awe inspiringly beautiful Universe - and yet by some freak are clever enough to know it - and to hide within the 'uncovering of truth' as if it gives meaning and purpose to otherwise ignorant lives.
The religious fear is that we are rendered nothing or even damned by a God that we have in some way failed, polluted, rebelled against or sinned such as to deserve death and punishment.
But fear is a mind at war with itself and any thinking that comes from a basis of fear is itself a conflicted and therefore self defeating.
To get in touch with your own Nature is to release your current definitions and extend trust that what is true, reveals itself to you - not from your database of past experience but as a currently felt discernment. There is in this movement, the awareness of an essential innocence and sanctity of being that is not particular or personal - but is simply true of one and all.
Hard to believe? I say beyond belief - and in fact is freely available as we release our investment in self serving beliefs of whatever kind. This is because the wilful coercive intent IS the lens and identification with conflicted being. Control mind is NOT your true nature but don't take my word for it. Get in touch directly.

Nor are we equipped to until we are ready to step outside of a 'managed reality'. This isn't just corporate intent - but a demand for unconsciousness as an ongoing temporary 'answer' to unfaceable or intolerable difficulty - though to be sure - humiliation is NOT unfaceable. We are as if trapped in our own thinking which - if you think on that - is absurd! Yet we ARE capable of being conditioned so as to effectively be trapped within thinking that suggests or insinuates a fearful and unworthy and impotent sense of self.
People who have a direct relational appreciation of the 'Good' have a responsibility to recognize it, honour it and share it - as a living Culture. The alternative is cultural decay, wherein what once held actual value is now but lip service or mere propaganda.
Man domesticated the natural world but lost the sense of the source and nature of his place within it, and now predatory man farms and exploits via the programming of consumer man and jobsworth man so as to strip out all living assets and lay all to waste. Predatory man is an idea in which we identify. It can be seen as a sort of addictive habit that is NOT hardwired into Original Mind - yet IS a fundamental of our (current) human consciousness.
The theology of a superficial rendering of Darwinian perspectives - taken to an absurd extent - has rendered us largely passive and impotent to function except as managed and controlled - excepting a very few who play the role of the predator or controller.
Protest may not be the most helpful option - for every action brings reaction. Speaking truth to power is from a different source than reaction. It honours others with something worthy - and not as a subtler manipulation. Waking up to a better way comes from joining in a truly shared purpose and not merely shifts in power from one group to another. Slice of Pi? Tau but no thanks!
I like reading this article. I am of the conviction that there is much in our foundations that sets us on awkward courses - no matter how intelligent or devoted we may be in all further application of those fundamentals.
I am not a mathematician, but can see the gist of this.
I feel that the most revolutionary discoveries to come will be in our awakening to the errors of thinking, perceiving and experiencing - which also carry conflicted payloads and distorting filters.
But rendering Pi as a mystery integer to simply abandon instead of calculate, could symbolize the release of an impossible and unnecessary activity and the opening of a fresh basis from which to live.
"How could we ever have operated under such a pervasively impractical and self defeating idea?"
The real change is not in reality - which remains as it ever is - but that our mappings and definitions limit or program our own capacity to see.
