I came upon this news of a big pharma corp winning a lawsuit brought against it regarding the misinformation as to withdrawal symptoms associated with the use of one of its drugs.

Lilly used the argument that many taking placebos also suffered withdrawal symptoms and so the effect (withdrawal symptoms) is in the patient's mind as an already pre-existing mental sickness - and not the drug.
I find it interesting how the placebo is brought out as an escape route.
Whilst there are much deeper layers to belief than the tip of the iceberg we tend to presume as a personal characteristic, it remains so that clear and honest communication embodies true relationship and indeed sanity.
It is on some level true that we are already operating world of distorted deceits - that is we are almost all of us un-sane or dissociated from a clear and present wholeness of honest communication and relationship - yet the only reality a false or distorted assertion has is the belief it engenders - which is reinforced by the experience derived in reacting as if it is true.
When enough people react as if a fearful belief is true it is no longer a fearful belief - but mutually agreed reality.
We individually AND collectively generated the distortions from which a mad world HAD to ensue. One of them is the belief in personal guilt that then is denied only to project away onto OTHER and world and WANT it to rest on them so as to expunge or excommunicate the hated within ourself... without releasing the power we believe we get FROM attack.
Labels like psychopath can become as meaningless as nazi - for they simply assign guilt and invalidate. That is not so say others may not be embodying psychopathic behaviours.
Waking up to that ones thinking - and identity built on such thinking is insane is to open to at least a relationship with sanity - from which perspective, distortions, falsehoods and errors can be corrected or undone.
Jesus' example and inspiration has been neutered by fearful interpretation that makes special to separate and thus 'save' the separate self sense from true relationship as one's foundational integrity. However, he did not claim power to heal but accepted healing for himself and extended it to the willingness and faith of others who were attracted at whatever level to releasing affliction. Now there IS a vibrational quality in the true presence of Life through whatever agency - and there is the free willingness to match or accept such a quality in oneself. Likewise there is a resonant attraction of fear thinking with magical or manipulative 'answer' that merely redistributes or redefines the same problem in complex derivatives made to seem new.
The Pharmaceutical 'answer' has brought the original problem back with interest in more complex forms. The attempt to treat symptoms as if they are causes reflects a fundamental confusion. As does the attempt to kill the messenger rather than read and accept the message. Each of us has a capacity of discernment from which to use even negative experiences for positive outcomes - while actively choosing positive outcomes. Corporate entity operates a disproportionate power because that is how our choices shape our reality. There is always a call to check and limit insanity that harms and the growing recognition of the deceits and coercions of systemic and institutional corruption, will not cease as a result of not 'winning' a particular lawsuit. Wouldn't you look at it and see that winning such a battle is a publicity whereby they are losing credibility and legitimacy? Hence the increasing of deceit and coercion to maintain the mask - as if the mask is the reality and all else must conform to it. Insanity. Who is without mask - let them cast the first stone. Well who is without mask seeks healing, not vengeance. Bringing the fear and shame that drives such behaviour into the light that heals.

Faith in Life!
Monsanto Laments Dwindling Faith in Science
Following on from the last entry, because someone addressed my comment thus:
I speak of Consciousness. Consciousness OF physicality is part and parcel of BELIEVING and experiencing ourselves as a separated "mind" within a body within a physical universe of bodies. That one CAN experience and identify as this separated persona is evident. But no one is IN such a world any more than a wish can replace truth.
The notion of 'separateness' operates the lens darkly by which to experience a reversal of consciousness. However, there are limits to the ability or capacity of believing and identifying in the untrue. Pain and meaninglessness being chief among them.
Thinking without true relationship is a disconnected thought-mind - but mind is not, can not, will never, exist as an actually independent entity. While such thinking asserts its 'self', there are no ears to hear.
Whatever Life Is, already is, and is working perfectly. Each of us and all of us together are our own 'experiment' or theme of experience and exploration.
The nature of consciousness itself is integral to my experiential relationship and discovery. It is of course my joy or natural calling - along with the embodiment of an integrated consciousness. It is all a matter of perspective.
When ideas run - or are accepted into your mind, they are experienced as perception. Regarded as reality and then reacted to and acted upon as if true. By the power of your acceptance do ideas run in your mind. Fear usurps the mind but only while you give it the power to do so.
Will you - regardless of what anyone else chooses - choose to align with what you resonate most honestly as true of you in relevance to your current experience? I suggest that although this could be seen as a matter of time, it is truly a matter of willingness.
Holding onto a mistaken investment is like supporting a lie, for it costs the joy of a true movement of being, in which Soul reveals itself evident as Living Context rather than being demanded in sacrifice to a 'blind god'. Identity is investment. But to release all things to Source is to BE identified perfectly. One cannot bring love into fear but as sacrifice to fear's 'reality', but fears can be brought to love in willingness FOR Perspective.
It is all a matter of perspective - and that the choice to assert and coerce is the limiting and losing of perspective. Of course there is another way. But until there is a willingness, it does not appear. To find willingness, one may have to first honestly acknowledge and own one's wilfulness or unwillingness. There is fear, pain and anger in guilt that invalidates Life. There is a messenger here to be received. One never meets 'the world' but through one's own psycho-emotional-physical construct.
The opposite of blind (private agenda) coercive manipulation of Life is yielding (private agenda) into Life.
One cannot serve two masters of opposite and exclusive directions.
Faith in Life is implicit, the instant one recognizes the false as false, for the true stands evident and in that knowing is it simply obvious one IS Life and not somehow 'outside and apart and acting upon it'.
You cannot experiment UPON yourself who Are One Self. But you can engage in conception and perceive idea in which fear seems to split or fragment such a consciousness. Isolate and alone. But how could such a game of powers be played without rival, adversary, ally and enemy?
"It's Life, but not as we know it Captain".
Perhaps the 'third eye' is our true front ear. And 'space' is not 'out there after all, but reflecting an embracing awareness of All That Is. Time serves the unfolding script. But time is running out for the script to remain hidden. Does mon santo mean 'my holy'? Is that not the error in identification in a nuts-hell? For what you give (idea) is what then gives you. 'Thy holy' is a willingness to honour and acknowledge the presence of Life in Creation - that appears perhaps to be a world outside you. Do this 'just because' and not in order to 'get', and you will simply align with the true of you - and have the reflection.
Integrity is true relation.

The term 'faith in science' is an interesting term to choose.
Conscious faith is accorded what is accepted true of oneself, but blind faith gives power to ideas as ideals and indeed as idols.
That which is accepted true is given protection and investment, and the wish that distorts perception to serve the purpose of the perceiver is the ego-centric identification within attempt to 'control' reality; to exercise power over Consciousness, Life, Self and Other. This is not at all obvious to a mind that is designed to hide its power behind a sense of limitation, deprivation and lack. And it is impossible to convince such a mind that it is suffering delusion excepting by waking as the perspective upon illusion. This occurs spontaneously when the illusion disintegrates as a believable reality. When one's experience increasingly calls it into question and reveals lack of foundation where once seemed solid.
Clarifying our definition reveals a greater perspective. I use the term 'scientism' as distinct from the discipline of Science, I also see technologism as the inevitable effect of materialism - the materialism which operates as the active denial of Consciousness whereby to assert personal power upon a 'dead' universe in which death is the only natural outcome and where a kind of living death substitutes for real relationship. Materialism in this sense gets or sucks energy from relationships that it actually does not recognize AS relationship - because materialism ONLY sees relationships as a means to GET from.
The search for truth or the willingness to receive its illumination, can operate on many levels - all of which converge in a genuine willingness and capacity FOR relationship - because truth is a relationship and not an 'object' to be possessed, or used as a means of gaining control or power OVER Life.
The worship of coercive power is the religion of materialism. Everything derives its meaning from the god its serves for such is the nature of Source - or for what is accepted as a true foundation from which to live. And so 'science' as a tool of power is not concerned with true - but only with the power to make or subvert truths to its agenda. And to obfuscate its actions within complex layers of defence and diversion.
I look forward to rediscovering Reason and Science in cultural renewal, as a result of the deconstruction and exposure of the mind that would manipulate private or blind agenda at expense of the whole - including its own true interests. This exposure is not 'in the world' though our minds are reflected there. Deceit projects the unwanted and the rejected out from self onto world - where it may battle it or study it or engage in any form of apparent relationship with it, as long as it is kept apart and away.
A human world that poisons and destroys itself while engaging delusions of grandiosity and abject powerlessness is an expression of faithlessness - of giving faith to that which undermines integrity - which dis-integrates, segregates and struggles for power to 'survive'.
This 'self' is insane or operating from a 'disconnect'. Once one SEES it, withdrawal of investment is inevitable. Therefore it operates deceit by which to seem to provide power and protection. Divisions of conflict, fear and doubt trigger existential fears that call upon the re-enactment of the separation or split consciousness. This technique is so over used now that it too is wearing thin.
The mind - in the sense I am referring to the split-minded consciousness, is a trickster; an evasion, an attempt at denial or refusal of Life as Relationship, Communication and Creation of such extension and embodiment of presence. Refusing division is being of one mind by abandoning the drama of self - that is by pausing to listen or receive. The term 'higher mind' points to inspiration, intuition and discernment. Use it or lose it. But one cannot actually disconnect from the Consciousness of which one exists. One can only generate the experience of disconnection in subjectivity to power now seeming outside of and generally hostile to oneself; materialism.

100% Faith
New Gods: Should we banish faith forever?
Presumed knowledge is blindness to what is actually present.
The terms faith and belief are misused and misidentified.
It is quite so that personal identity professes beliefs or to have faith in what seems reasonably evidenced to their particular perspective. But these are often aspects of a masking identity - for what we actually do, comes from what we actually define and accept ourselves to be in any given moment or situation.
Everyone has 100% faith - but what is it invested in (in any given moment)? One may have faith in 'rational thinking' and presume no faith is involved. But this is the realm of the mask or personae in which assertions of self are justified and defended against the ever changing un-knowability of manifest existence.
The higher mind is out of range to the personality construct - but is natural to one's awareness.
The persona self is a construct and not a thing existing in and of itself.
Identifying exclusively in mask is to be defined and to suffer a coercive and threatening sense of existence. Everyone comes up with their own ways of coping with this - including the supremacist arrogance of a presumed rationality. "Should we banish faith forever?" Is this the New World Order? A joke? or both?
A true science recognizes its foundation in definition - for without self-definition there is NO perspective-experience available. A false science operates as if its predicate is exclusively true.
The "One true God" mistake, is one of exclusive personal definition, and replicates as the one 'empirical truth'. This is a liability of the fight/flight mentality in which the personality has become pervasively identified.
No one has to 'justify' their beliefs in terms of another - but may communicate if approached in a willingness that values communication.
Rationalism divorced from Reason would invalidate anyone who does not conform and use the form of communication as a coercive device. This sort of thing feeds anti rationalism - because meeting a lovelessness in others, is the temptation to project one's own fears and guilts' - one's own feared and hated evil intent - ONTO those who blindly assert power or propagate lovelessness in ways that effectively undermine any other perspective than their own.
This reaction is then equally blind and easily manipulated. Power struggles USE such tactic as a matter of course - hiding within a masked agenda.
Freedom is the inherent capacity to accept into your mind only what is true of you. A conflicted mind is a split persona, and a conflicted world-experience. The evidence belies the foundation. Unless of course one WANTS to keep one's foundation hidden, so as to interpret all things in its defence.
Belief in separateness - whether apparently religious or apparently atheistic is the same faith. Science can be distorted so as to reinforce this 'faith' as can any spiritual or religious path or culture.
Materialism posits reality without consciousness - or WOULD if it could achieve it. Does not this reveal the hidden agenda of 'rationality' as DENIAL of Consciousness? Is that not THE 'faith' by which the human ego - in any disguise, maintains a semblance of believability and thus its operability in its filtered and distorted version of 'the world'?

Fear operates a hidden agenda
The following article prompted a deeper response than that framed by its premises.
The context I write to is one where fear, confusion, distrust, and conflict generate a fear of 'evil' and unconsciously becoming defined and used by the very thing we hate and fear.

The hidden agendas running through so much that once was accepted currency of meaning, communication and exchange are as complex as the 'financial instruments' that attempt to coerce outcomes supposedly to 'maintain the economy' yet actually corrupt and work against true health, wealth and happiness.
One always uses 100% faith… it is just a matter of what it is invested in. The corruptions of our own thinking run deep, and no matter how much we may like to apportion blame and cry foul, we are collectively and individually in a net of our own deceits. This is not really news, human uses of consciousness have ever tended to ignorance and arrogance.
There are many facets to waking up. One is of the challenging and breaking of ideas and world-views that were presumed Reality, nut to serve Awakening in a true sense this is occurring within a willingness for integration instead of the wilfulness of a segregative, 'disconnecting' sense of self.
The story teaching and way showing symbol of Jesus operates as a reconnecting with the Reintegrating wholeness of being but its message is adulterated, diluted and effectively covered over by fear-based (segregative) interpretation. It does not matter what serves as the bridge or portal to such Awakened perspective and practice so much as that the communication of one's true presence underlines one's word and deed.
It takes one to know one. True presence is not coercive, therefore to regain a full awareness of own native or original nature and perspective, one will find oneself stepping outside the coercive mentality of justifying hate and pretending it to be power, appealing to fear as protector and guide as if it were a saviour, or employing guilt as a means to control and coerce our own mind or the minds of others.
Freedom cannot be thrust onto one long-chained in darkness, but it can be uncovered in true willingness, step by step by step.
Fear of death, disease, disaster, disgrace or pain and humiliation will have highly imaginative and active components.
I am talking about a self-honesty here at a level that goes far beyond ones presentations to the world or one's own self justifying mentality.
Fear of any kind distorts perception and thus sets up apparent oppositional wills and powers to Life - while it is being used to hide in, and being hidden from.
Moving through fear as it rises up and dissolves is a purificatory transformation.
Identifying with a fearfully defined segregated and separated self-sense does not recognise this Movement of Healing - but interprets it fearfully as loss and death and so defines itself against Life and becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
The blind will lead the blind always to maintain darkness. If you unsubscribe from such a 'guide to nowhere' you allow and invite the Guide for Life and Light to illuminate and prompt your noticing and choices in all things - including the good housekeeping and appropriate corrective actions in the case of healthy running and undoing or releasing negative choices and their effects.
In simple terms to pause amidst the baiting of reaction and check in at the heart will serve you and others well. The depth of this willingness and honesty will grow as it is lived. Living with a false integrity is living a lie; no matter how forcefully lies are asserted they cannot express and extend the truth of you - and nor will their reflections witness unto the truth of you.
Love is not what you do - it is what you are. But unless you live out what is revealed to you THROUGH you. YOU deny your life. Not 'them'. Not germs and toxins - excepting as we have all conspired to project our fear of evil OUT THERE.
The power that we 'give away' abides yet where it never left. We always operate 100% faith but where it is given can be cunningly hidden so as to hold onto a sense of specialness and self-power while playing the weak victim.
Learn to discern willingly ...if you will.

Living with a false integrity is living a lie; no matter how forcefully lies are asserted they cannot express and extend the truth of you - and nor will their reflections witness unto the truth of you.
Love is not what you do - it is what you are. But unless you live out what is revealed to you THROUGH you. YOU deny your life. Not 'them'. Not germs and toxins - excepting as we have all conspired to project our fear of evil OUT THERE.
The power that we 'give away' abides yet where it never left. We always operate 100% faith but where it is given can be cunningly hidden so as to hold onto a sense of specialness and self-power while playing the weak victim.
Learn to discern willingly ...if you will.
Fear contracts upon itself and rejects wholeness.
