90% chance of hidden rooms in Tut tomb

Hmmm... a 90% chance that something is true...? Consensus science is the result of denying personal subjective agenda - whilst presenting such agenda in a 'scientific mask'.
The so called 'news' is constantly awash with could and should and might and maybe 'science' or indeed 'news'.
Veracity loses out to mendacity.
I have a personal sense that there is vastly more 'news' or information and knowledge to reveal or allow to be discovered and shared - than is currently the case. However, some such 'news' may undermine the model of self and reality that is operating as the established paradigm, and so there are inhibiting motives as well as aligning the timing of radical change.
History is generally told by the victors to propagate and reinforce their own mythic narrative - and this is true of the current generation that seeks to 'subordinate' life to the myth of an ascending evolution of human rational power over life. Being as it were the 'pinnacle of evolution'. This self-reinforcing circularity operates the invalidating of Life in the Whole and therefore of its fragmented and desacralized 'parts' - and moves to bring destruction of the Planet whilst claiming to conquer and 'understand' the very Life it depends on to have a thought at all.
However, I sense that antiquity will break through to incontrovertible evidence of highly advanced civilisations and relationships of interaction beyond our current compass - and that these will play a part in the support of an emergent paradigm that will hold wholeness holy - not in projected specialness of a coercive identity and agenda - but in humility and gratitude of sanity and joy.
There is no 100% chance of anything - but there is the experience of an unfolding appreciation of perspective in which what seemed certainly limiting, gives way to a certainty of purpose - whose definition is individually expressed in unique diversity and not a coercive conformism.
Hidden chambers are also within. There is much that was forgotten that is in our Face but unrecognized. But its recovery is a matter of timing.
I write intuitionally - that is - to the feeling or stirring within. Never to tell anyone what is so. Always by invitation. Would you like to discover more about Humanity than the story we tell ourself? Then that conscious acknowledgement is part of your own desire to align in the timing of such information unfolding itself to you and within you. Now am I writing this from what had been a 'hidden room'? Or just making it all up? I leave that to you to decide for you and therefore rest in my own decision without hooking it up to require validation of others.
Hidden rooms need be so until the timing aligns as the synchronicity of having 'come forth'. But don't wait on time - live in willingness to act in alignment with honest discernment rather than from conditioned reaction.

Thinking and language can thus become a tool of deceit

What's "guilted fear"? When did "energetic" become a noun and stop being an adjective? Why do people think they sound wise if they write in passive voice?

"For to open to not-knowing is to put down or yield a self asserted 'self' - whose definitional 'past conditioning' fuels the assertion of a circular but negative or dis-integrative self-reinforcement, in the mythic role of control." For crying out loud! What is this gibberish?

My reply to Constant Gardener:

Fear given to a guilt interpretation becomes destructive, divisive, coercive and deceitful. Guilt tells you to hide your fears and to hide from fear. Thus guilt usurps your mind by your own acceptance of it as your own voice... your own purpose - your self!

Thinking and language can thus become a tool of deceit by which to mask and control one's experience of life and induce others to mutually reinforce such 'meanings' and their agenda.

The normal social repartee is part and parcel of all such mutual reinforcement of the persona or mask. So much so that our Soul-knowing in all of Life's innate qualities, is denied by a virtual overlay... given priority.

I have looked at this in myself or my own life and it is not who I am - and nor is it the true of anyone - and so I have in a sense stepped away from the basis that we call the mind so as to firstly reconnect energetically to presence and then to let my persona and its mind serve as a channel of expression, experience and reflection.

An energetic is a term I use for a tangibly felt reading of reality - of any situation or instance of communication. The form of an appearance is not its reality. As mask and scam bear witness. Those who are blocked from their native capacity to feel are easily induced to invest in Foxy Loxy.

I write out of the instant of an intuitional experience that is quite wordless or pre-verbal - but in order to convey meanings I have to clothe what I want to convey in word and phrase.

Re-reading what you you is gibberish - I find its meanings intact. Here's a different way to say:

so obvious now to see
A circular futility.
but if grasping insight in form
does the mind of chatter
assert itself
as a trapped attention
as if not to lose
and so is lost...

I simply communicate from a different assumption of reality - that can only be accessed by sharing the foundational purpose.
If you think I write to seem wise - then you think out of the pallet of your self. Wisdom belongs to no man - and to all.
Ask and it shall be given. Knock and you shall be answered.
But barking up the wrong tree will seek so as NOT to find and indeed induce others to validate the search.

Artists express what is moving within them - because that movement is alive - not to exploit markets or remain bound by existing paradigms that no longer serve purpose or indeed life.

Reality by consensus is the denial of the individual excepting it conforms - yet only individuals can experience anything - even if within the belief in a common external reality. I have noticed that true sharing or intimacy is not conformity - but an extension of trust. To act from what one truly feels and believes is an extension of trust and what is met within that act is transformed thereby.

Unless of course one buys into guilt-baiting that says "Who are YOU to pretend to know anything?" and withholds the gift of genuine presence for a more 'correct' version of a form designed to mask the reality.

"Well a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest".
If you tune in enough to warrant giving a partly civil answer - then you at least LOOKED in but were then offended or frustrated. Neither is my intent - but thankyou for your willingness.

Worlds in collision

Our early solar system may have been home to a fifth giant planet

(My comment is general to the conversation of major changes in our Solar System within collective human memory).

Velikovsky studied the mythic record of the cultures of antiquity with a scientific discipline. He may have misinterpreted some of his findings - but the data held so many correspondences that witness a very different past than the one that this perception of an age constructs for itself presently.
Catastrophe is inherently associated with trauma, denial and dissociation or split mind. Even without the mythic record, the assertive and coercive nature of denial in humankind witnesses to catastrophic or overwhelming trauma.
Reintegrating from a split or conflicted sense of being is a matter of timing. Understandings cannot be forced upon an unreadiness to receive them. War and woe will keep them out.
The principle of becoming aware of bias as a result of emotional charge is one of honest self awareness, but the true clearing of such charge is through the acceptance and safe expression by which it transmutes and moves as a fresh understanding. The attempt to righteously deny the emotional body is the split off mind that effectively works destruction within ever more insane rationalisations.

The above comment mysteriously disappeared from the site. Nothing to do with worlds in collision then - but perhaps more a result of mankind in amnesia.
There's nothing wrong with wishing something true and asserting it as one's own - but when it distorts the record as an officially imposed 'reality' it smacks of that coercive control mentality that scientists thought to have locked the door upon - yet which turned the key for them.

Freedom and the State; Caesar and God: ends and means

This article on freedom and the state and strategies of libertarianism prompted various responses. Mine is below.

It is easy to react to what one has judged unawares - as if one is relating directly with an external or oppositional reality, when whatever is occurring is one's own definition overlaid upon the arising relational situation. Hence the adjunct to be vigilant against deception.

Mutually agreed definitions and judgements become competing 'realities' or 'truths' or ideologies, within which apparent unities of purpose or endeavour faction and fragment like the tower of Babel, when the context against which seemed a unity, shifts... as it will.

I do not regard myself as Christian - in the traditional sense -  in fact I do not regard myself as anything in terms of a locked in identity - because I find my true identity in the expression of the freedom to relate, to receive and to give and to know that freedom in act as well as recognize the same quality in others - regardless their current choices. But Jesus also addressed the issue of worldy power and obligation - vs inner allegiance and congruity of value in thought, act and deed. And yet an exclusive or militant materialism cannot engage with the Meaning beyond the form - for all forms have locked in meanings and the mind of such assertion is locked in its own thinking by its own choice.

The Meaning beyond the form is that from which all forms derive their meaning. Perhaps I might arrive at a useful exposition of this here.

Any sense of exclusively personal power immediately and inherently opens the possibility of personal powerlessness and inadequacy to meet the situation at hand. This feels dissonant as conflicted feelings and purposes - ie: a chaotic psycho-emotional state that is intolerable.

The desire to persist in the personal sense of power is not associated with the powerlessness which seems to be a result of oppositional wills or forces.

Identity in powerlessness (victimhood) appeals to the personal sense of power to protect and unify it against intolerable chaos. That is , it gives its power away to the idea of coercive control as 'protector'.

The resultant coercion suppresses and limits the range of the expression to a will and projects the conflict outside and way from what the realm of personal control it now identifies as itself.

The denied will is thus rendered 'unconscious' and the projected conflict perceived externally and reacted to as such 'protects' it from its core fears whilst embodying them as unrecognised external relations of separate and disconnected reality.

Perpetual war is the condition of living within such an identity - but it can be expressed and distributed in such a way as to seem to contain arenas of victory or truce, alliances and paths of discovery of freedom and enlightenment. But always the core conflict is propagated through all of its expressions because it is inherent to its predicate and is this its predicament.

There is no freedom within a compulsive identity of reaction but there is always the freedom to choose not to use it and thus release the identification in coercion.

In the fragmenting of the mind was Meaning lost to conflicted meanings that are by definition meaningless, but the desire to protect the meaning of personal power becomes a central focus through which attempt to unify the self operates and ascribes its own meanings to everything that it incorporates into its world. For everything is judged according to its perceived use or threat to the survival or persistence of the personal sense of control.

However meanings are not fixed and investments are released and some of this occurs as part of the normal process of development or adaptation to the 'world'. Some as a result of crisis that forces a transformation of thought and identity or trauma that reopens the core separation experience.

The recognition of the coercive will as unwanted may arise from realising one's self destructive scripts, or the meaninglessness of hollow victory, the pain of a sham , or any number of avenues of arising honesty.

The recognition and release of what does not in fact protect or belong is freewillingly embraced as an acceptance of reintegration through the separation experience to the free flowing restoration of unified purpose - which then expresses itself through the personality construct one had in a sense grown as a segregative attempt to unify or make a self of that which is not true of what in clarity of discernment is now seen to not be who you are.

Purpose is the underlying orientation of desire that focuses and aligns the mind. There is already Purpose inherent in Life but it is not coercive upon its expressions as to how that purpose is expressed or reflected.

The freedom to believe one can abort, defile, destroy, poison or oppose such purpose is inherent in a truly un-coerced and free imagination and the Human exploration of such ideas of limitation, separation, opposition, conflict, war and vengeance are experienced real because we act from the desire and belief that the power to do so is our reality. Freedom is expressed even here - but in ways that do not know themselves free - that do not know who they are because they choose to believe what they are not and blame it on their world and hate it for failing them and meet the hateful and are worn down and entangled in the taxes of their own defences. And so crisis necessitates transformation.

When everything shifts it isn't just that what doesn't work any more doesn't work - it is seen that it never was true but seemed so.

The old currencies of thought are not only unworkable, they cost - or work against the arising of the new. Until the mind of such thinking can be noticed rather than enacted. Then the devices of persecution or suppression work to more clearly illuminate the self-definitions we otherwise unknowingly carry that are the obstruction to our own appreciation of a truly lived existence Now.

Living from the already free is not a matter of effort, but of consistent and persistent willingness as awareness - not thought. One does not become free. One becomes more aware of the freedom one is. False notions of freedom enslave. Discernment is inherent to a true self worth. The wish for magical solutions invites a manipulative magician to synchronize with your current reality - but conflict is not solved by wishing - but resolved in wholly willing. There is no unity in a fearful agenda. But fears that are owned and embraced and lived through become the very means of releasing what does not belong.

What you give out is what you get back. Forgive and be (know yourself) forgiven. The attempt to get rid of hate and fear by projecting is the way to KEEP it fixed in your mind. One does not get rid of anything - one releases what is not belonging and focusses entirely on what does - what one truly resonates with in the knowing of that unique quality of being you know is you. Your world will in its own timing reflect an entirely different perspective as a result of you having changed. You cannot access such perspective from changing the world. That is the persistence of the attempt to solve ones inner conflict in external scenarios.

Anything I write is simply information or idea that can be freely considered or ignored. Authority dwells in the discernment of the receiver, for no matter what the apparent form of the source, it is the quality of recognition of true resonance and relevance that opens the insight or inner knowing that is beyond words - and yet can communicate through them in the qualities of life.

The Idea of Science operates a mind that gathers data to construct a model of reality that holds and reinforces the same inherent 'meaning' as the mind that thus seeks.
For such a 'mind' is inherently regarded as separated from its experienced 'world' of objects and thus free to act upon it, manipulate and exploit, map and define and control it.
Originally this arose from confusing a sense of dominion over nature that is inherent to the Creator level of Consciousness, with the 'mind' or personality construct of the central character in its script of unfolding experience.
While the Creator-Spirit identifies in character, that one is as one asleep - who knows not what he does.
Yet the Fact of Awareness of Existence is immutable - regardless the unfolding or expansion of idea as experience.
The illusion of power always costs the awareness of the power of illusion - that is the power of Idea accepted, believed, experienced and identified as reality by the mind that thus thinks.
Awareness of Existence operates through differentiation and desire to create unique and infinite reflections of Meaning. The core qualities of such Meaning include Beauty, Truth, Love, Joy, Peace, Reason, Justice. Such are the fruits of the Spirit of Wholeness.
A divisive, possessive, and coercive identifiction with the image, symbol or form of any of the Qualities of Existence redefines such qualities in its own image - as through a falsely limiting framing by which things seem to be self-existing entities.
Such modification of a symbolic representation of Awareness of Existence Itself, is an overlay by which Original knowing is filtered out, obscured and distorted.
When an moment of Transcendence of such identifiction is shared or gifted, there is a shift from the limited and limiting 'mind' to a direct experience.
Awareness is exactly coincident with its experience. There is no separation. This may seem the loss of one's power to 'become' a someone in one's own right - and all the hopes and desires that go with it, but is the restoration of an Embracing Perspective to that which struggled in idea of the imposture of rejection and exclusion.
Science operates on a material or external world that inherently rises from the rejection of the Spirit or Wholeness of an undefended Open Consciousness.
The nature of such rejection is a deceit by which to seem to be defending against un-chosen and unwarranted threat. Thus the split into conscious and un-conscious compartments - not in matter - but in meanings accepted, believed and asserted in reaction.
Science can serve as a technologism of weapon, shield and strategem for the segregating sense of self, or it can serve a love of truth in honest and undefended opening to the ALREADY true.
In war truth is whatever one can assert and pass off in order to support a private agenda.
In truth there is no war.
How can there be no war in the face of such experience as we take for the human condition?
By recognizing the deceit of self-attack, upon which is raised the seeming self of a split-minded struggle.
Within the perspective of struggle - all is war, but of seemingly varying degree. To the perspective of Wholeness or Peace - we but do this unto our selves.
The reality of the 'other' cannot be discovered but through your own. In another you meet your split-minded reflection in an alloy of alliance and rejection OR you meet the freedom to be That which you are - without first defining what you are in terms OF exclusivity and rejection.
Science, re-aligned to serve an integrating wholeness, supports and reflects the Qualities of Awareness of Existence. We are not personae in fragmentation, but channels of Creative Expression. There is no way to communicate the latter to the former what so ever. Let beauty and joy restore a unified Experience - and use that perspective to act from - instead of attempting to stuff the New Wine into old paradigms.

Howbeit we are deceived?

The issue of Geoengineering as a blight upon our world and our lives comes up from time to time. I came upon this site initially in the context of articles on the Middle East madness and then commented into a page on the 9/11 deception. In particular to one who themselves commented "How can so many be so deceived?"


Because they do not want/are not yet ready to face their fear.
Be aware that running away from one's fear does not portray itself as such. It will spin whatever story protects it and assert it true over and above any 'facts'. Have you any idea how powerful is the will in one's own perception as opposed to how weake it generally presents itself?
The reflections of the world can serve your awakening FROM what you took to be your own mind - or at least the thoughts you accepted true for you and have thus used as your foundation.
One way of looking at what is going on is that fear - indeed terror - is exerting an increasingly intense suggestion of commanding allegiance to ITS agenda and you and I are obliged to choose whether or not we want to live within its agenda and base our lives on its assertion of power. In its own terms it holds the power of death, destruction, depletion and desecration - for it makes all things in its own image.
But it only has the power we give it in fear of change perceived in terms of death, pain and loss.
These fears are coming up ANYWAY - and the 'world' the mind collectively makes to try to keep them at bay is disintegrating.
Waking up is not just to that the alarm clock is going off - but recognizing from outside the dream what that actually is as your own Call to Wake. So walk out of the dream/nightmare to the embrace and guidance and support of a dimension that one might call inclusive Consciousness rather than a world of mental displacements and separations.
The alarm is not to be denied. But the use of the alarm to persist in the dream is a subtle deceit of seeming to wake up - but persisting in the mentality that IS denial, that is mental sickness in all its legion of personae and devices that defend the sickness.
Change: you cant fit the new wine (Living Idea) into the old bottles (mental framework). The desperate attempt to do so generates the kinds of crisis we are calling upon ourselves.
So if you choose you can live in a reality where SHIT happens and adapt to that as best you can OR you can decide that SHIFT happens by MAKING THE SHIFT of perspective within your own consciousness that realigns you to who and what you Truly Are - and not persist in asserting what does not and can never work.
The demonstration and witness of this consciousness is what triggers the metamorphosis or shift back into a unified expression of Consciousness Knowing Itself through all its parts - rather than the grandiose adventures, discoveries and conquests of an arrogant ignorance fed with Life Energy to prevail over whatever any shifting aspect perceives as evil, adversity, opposition.
Everyone plays their part whether they know it or not, but the awakening part is the willingness to live and love anyway - any way that you make your own because it is resonant with your core being. Love as a word is degraded and disinfo'd - so let love be the willingness to see and be that which is real in any situation. Life happens through you - not to you.
Changing the channel is an alternate to compulsive fascination with horror, a channel of true worth shared is one from which it is natural and easy to wake up gracefully.
Perhaps the destination is simply that which facilitates the journeying.
Perhaps forgetting who we are is part of setting up the journey home. Why not?
A judgment of evil tends to be that which we judge against with most intensity - giving it our power and energy in a presentation that then perceives itself as righteous - at least relatively so.
Jesus story - not the disinfo of fearful separation interpretations of magical wish manipulation - speaks directly to human beings. Thirst for truth only rises in those who have been disturbed and exposed to their lack of foundation - or the adulterated and distorted confusions as to who and what they are.
Everyone chooses what they in the moment define to be in their best interest, without exception. The key word is 'define'. Freedom is at the level of evaluating the definitions that dictate our conception of our self, our perception of the world and our experience of acting in it. As you are no doubt aware the term freedom can be used for slavery. It is up to you to be clear or honest with yourself.

How can you deceive yourself? Just watch the mind. Humans are expert at using deception to generate particular kinds of experience for themselves alone. We've been at it for millennia - but is the game of mind alone worth the candle?

Alarms going off

I've lost track of the comment that my reply below responded to - but in a vernacular style it expressed incredulity that 'sheeple' or 'the conditioned' do not recognize the signs everywhere and are impervious to warnings.

A mentality of denial asserts a 'consensus reality'. So it wont listen to what would crack its 'reality' unless that reality is already cracking.

Then there might be someone listening.

Until then their reality is one in which no one REALLY listens to them - that is beneath the presentations to their true presence.

So we may serve others more in listening to them and discerning what they ARE willing to share and not trying to force our mind on theirs. They are powerful and can block you just like that!

We get a hit off of any role in which we get to be with the 'good guys' and save the world from the 'bad guys' - and it distorts our conscious appreciation of Life.

The urgency we feel has to first effect our own healing or else we run around as unhealed healers spreading alarm like a headless Chicken Licken.

The last place most of us want to look is within. But it is our dissonance that is alarming us and it is our calling to discern what exactly is going on where it IS and not try to solve it 'out there'.

I say this in appreciation of your desire to be helpful.

Others are expert in tuning in to our disturbance and using that to justify their defence. Let nothing then disturb you and they will listen to the witness that you are prompted to share. They still might not like it! But that's ok. It wasn't totally blanked.

What we use our consciousness for right now has its wages or fruits right now.

Sickness is not proof there is something wrong with our being - but that we are out of alignment with the truth of our being. Our world is undergoing a big shift or re-alignment now and deep fears and guilts are coming up to be healed.

A part of us is struggling to hang onto control  - especially that in which might equates with right. But we are not really happy being right - we are happy in the radiance of our joy. Aligning with joy is reclaiming our Life from external gods - be they nations, companies, ideologies, religions, whatever.

Would you WANT to be able to get deeply out of sync with your true joy without having alarms going off?

Are we to embody our awakened presence or blindly serve as a propagation and amplification of a sense of alarm?

The shift of power

Energy price hikes 'inexplicable'. The Archbishop of Canterbury has slammed the recent energy price rises saying that they look "inexplicable."

Companies are not reckoned by law to have moral obligation and exist not as personal entities but as systems of making profit. The idea of market forces achieving balance falls apart in any monopolistic dependency and is only a small facet of a complex system that has largely developed from manipulative thinking rather than of serving the whole.

Blame and shame is part of the mentality of manipulative thinking - and if a large enough emotional reaction were generated, companies might indeed be influenced and also new legislation made law - but trying to balance off separate and conflicting interests is no way to 'balance' because it is being applied to, or imposed upon the system by force.

For every action there is an opposing reaction. But the action within the wholeness is called a 'shift' because it is an awakening from an expression of false premise and undesirable outcome, to a unified expression of willingness and intelligence.

How we organize our society is not dictated by those who fear to lose their apparent wealth and power over others, it is dictated by how we think!

Now thinking is made out to be an ineffectual wishful thing - not unlike imagination. With no power to effect change - unless one is ingeniously capable of devising complex financial instruments for the financiers of such manipulative intent, or any other specific intent to manipulate via the interference in discovered mechanisms of causation.

But 'as a man thinketh in his heart - so does he perceive' is no less true now that ever - for the unified power of thought and true feeling is the basis of all experience of existence.
"How will that keep you warm?". Well for a start it will shift you from a self protective dumb-terminal, easily managed and manipulated, to a greater awareness of what and who you really are - with everyone and everything, rather than apart from it.

We can often come to recognize and appreciate what resonates true, by first opening an experience of what is not. Think 'true' here not in lofty definitions but in terms of truly worthy of wholehearted commitment, appreciation and gratitude.

The 'church' has lost its voice if it speaks from within the cage that modern thinking has 'put it in'. Perhaps I could have said 'within the prodigal trough!' - not in blame - but in recognition that there is always a payoff for our choices - regardless of how hidden or disguised they are as our apparently but not very conscious agreements.

Fearful insecurity and rapacious racketeering go hand in hand. The answer is not war on evil (sigh) but a profound commitment to an honest self accounting. Call out the behaviour by all means - but in a way that elicits an opportunity to shift.

"Shift Happens!"

When our private lives become public online … will it make us more or less tolerant?

 

 

There is no such thing as thoughts that have no effect at some level - yet human thinking WANTS to set up so as to have a private mind in which to explore, enjoy and also mask and hide thinking that is mean-spirited and dishonouring of oneself, others and life.
And then one seeks 'like-minded' others for validation and support - and to create cultural or social environments in which to indulge and gratify one's 'avatar'.

The current mindset of corporate consumerism encourages such indulgence - as it can gain private advantage or profit thereby.

Where is the voice for integrity of being?

Not merely a calculated analysis of risks and benefits within a narrow range of vision - but the conscious expression of honesty.

There is such a thing as good clean fun that is not at the expense of others, but to access it, one needs to disinvest of an addictive or passive compliance with the thinking that uses our mind without having a genuine basis for being there. For much of our ego or self presentation is an attempt to cover or hide a sense of dissonance in fearful or guilt escaping persona.

So maybe it is a good thing to have come to a time where our thought is not so much controlled - but no longer private or provincial.
So we have to start to stand in and with what we say and do rather than live superficially within a sort of cultural permission to unconsciousness.

The attempt to control thought is very strong in the mind and thus will attempt itself through the Net - even as it does in politics, media and commercial activity. But it is always a self-defeating impulse, no matter how much of a short term hit it seems to offer or deliver.

Organic systems cooperate as expressions of a whole, whether they seem to compete at surface level, and so does a paradigm shift. The end of privacy will have profound effects which must include a fresh perspective of tolerance. For who is without sin - let them throw the first stone!

Looking for fault in others is a way of avoiding your own. Period. But apparent fault in others IS the way to detect your own - and thus become free of it.

There is a new perspective within the 'new wine' that is integral to it. While we seek to apply the old mindset we hold ourselves in the dark ages.

War on Consciousness?

I am one whose life has been an exploration of Consciousness – although I feel that its nature is not an exploration of a human intellect or personality – but a willingness to be guided through my own mind by honest observations amidst a perspective that is from outside the mappings and control mentality (these tend to be one and the same thing).
I feel that a scepticism of one’s own thinking is healthy – but a scepticism of Life itself is an absolute block to knowing anything real.
The extension of trust is not gullibility, but a willingness and capacity to put aside our own thinking and actually pay attention.
From such an act, an intelligence is accessed that communicates something of the nature of reality – not as a definition or analysis – but as and expression of integrity, helpfulness, or wholeness. Not because there is a communication from a God to a personal mind in fragmentation and dissociation from its Mind or true inherence in reality, but because an undefended appreciation of reality releases some of the distorting bias or filters that could be called a ‘war on Consciousness’ – excepting there is no battle but a mind at war with itself in identification with image and symbol and concept of reality or self.
The assertion and experience of the material basis for existence is a defence mechanism that is needed until there is a willingness to release it – whether its disintegration occurs via drugs or via a series of honest observations that are NOT censored but allowed to be held open despite the sense of threat to one’s established identification.
One could see the limitations as a womb or egg to be grown out from – or indeed as a straightjacket that cannot be undone until there is a fundamental trust restored.
Idea are the stuff of all else. Every culture is an exploration and embodiment of ideas, ad the world is an exploration of many and conflicting ideas – yet the term world there was used for an experience and not for the Actuality that is both beyond definition – and therefore cannot be experienced as any kind of object – and yet is the ONLY THING going on – right where ideas of self, of time and space and non-self, arise and form experience.
The human mind has defaulted to look ‘outside’ because its identity as an independent explorer of an unknown reality serves as a mask against the revealing of its foundationlessness as a power or entity in its own right. This it equates with death and its first drive is to prevail against the very Life that is its source of its sense of existence: survival of self within definition. Yet the laws of the nature of Mind cannot altogether be lost but are applied to that which self conficts and yet self protects both. This is a sort of riddle for trying to maintain incongruent and untenable conditions requires maximal ingenuity to keep inherent futility from awareness, as well as to create substitutions for a sense of Meaning of relation, connection and identity such as to keep a promise of fulfilment amidst what can never actually fulfil.
The Universe that our minds can understand – in the scientific sense, will be revealed to be our minds themselves – in ways that we don’t expect, because the mind works to deny and project out from itself that which it seeks to disown in order to prevail or survive (in its own terms) and yet all that is denied has become the matrix of its own experience… unrecognized, and remapped or redefined in terms of the drive to exploit it. All things and relationships are thus reduced to a means of validating a sense of self-separation or limited consciousness amidst One Mind.
Yet for any who come to look not out there as if it really is out there – but see their own non-existence or pseudo-identity, not as conceptual fodder but directly as an ultimate humiliation to any capacity to maintain their image and control over their experience – a transformation occurs; a shift in which something actual has replaced what was before conceptual.
The ‘mind’ habit usually ‘restores normal service, such that intuitive insight and revelation is as if a timelessness that get covered in time – yet it cannot be the ‘solid’ reality that it once took for granted and a process of metamorphosis now occurs because there is some part of the mind that is awake to that it is a direct expression of Actuality – no matter how much else is brought to bear.
The self of the ego personality tries to use all things to make its identification valid or solid- be they apparently material or apparently spiritual, and yet in the process reveals itself step by step in its strategies and intent. Once one knows, one cannot live as if one knows not except as a lie and with the cost to truth that defending a lie demands. So we are progressively undone of what once we thought real – and yet become more open to communicating or expressing a passion and a presence of life in whatever fields our movement uncovers and shares in – if we release the blocks of a false self-protectivism in embracing what we feel called to engage in.
Life Works, in that we cannot escape our ultimate self-inclusion – but from the posture of reactive self-interest in feigned relative innocence or feigned insignificance, it doesn’t work – even if warring is given sanction by its high priests, and psychological sickness is redefined as healthy, and the whole mess massed into the ‘human condition’ and given over as a problem to be endlessly engaged in distractive preoccupation.
Whatever the presumption of self is – or the presumption of reality is – the mind will extend out from in support of its premise.
Change the foundation and all else MUST shift.
There cannot really be a war in our mind, but only an interpretation that conflicts with itself and yet is maintained as if in compartmented thought.
Yet the identification with our thought should not be underestimated and the tragic misery and pain of fighting such war is an isolation of meaninglessness that really operates as if it is winning – or holding the fort – or being persecuted, betrayed or abandoned.
We do what we can with what we have. Both fear and the light of awareness are in our mind and much of the fear is hidden beneath layers of fear disguised as protection, for it is the fear of light that keeps our mind tiny and ineffectual.
Science is expanding our vision but it also feeds the mentality of control. To try to keep both is to re-enact stark insanity.
A true control is not imposed upon a wholeness – but operates within it as its own process of communication.
I read most all the commentary here and join with the willingness to reach for better ways of communicating. It is I feel a wholly worthy goal and a very relevant skill.
But it is true that the new foundation cannot ‘talk’ to the old and nor can the old ‘talk’ to the new. So no need to polarise in failure but simply be alert for all signs of life and join with willingness wherever it can be discerned.
My first experiences of opening consciousness were terrifying, because in simplest terms, the love of life was not expressing and the attempt to control was dominant.
Yet an honesty of not knowing is the condition in which true learning occurs, and that remains so no matter what we think we have learned or become. Not knowing is the resting in the emptiness of self definition or assertion such that it is full of the edgeless intelligence of being.
One doesn’t learn how to be – though one may have to learn to release the blocks to its native awareness.

Computer interface, cultural values and conditioning?

I see it as an opportunity to talk about the almost invisible layer of architecture and conditioning that communicates and inculcates cultural values - or indeed the lack thereof! So this isn't just about Mac - but a perspective on the extension of our mind - into virtual digital realities.

Without making this a personality thing, I feel this article is missing the trend in computing that has largely abandoned an educated responsible user interface and opted for a dumber, entertaining, utility front end. There are all sorts of issues in this that are very worthy of discussion and acknowledgement but 'news' itself has also succumbed to the same template approach of dumbed and entertaining fodder.

Issues of control and communication are fundamental to a user interface.
There is a lot more at stake and involved than consumer edification in all of this for it is symptomatic of the prevailing culture or mentality of our times.
Computing has in a very short time, become a layer of both environment and an enabler and a lens of communication and function.
There are lots of things about the mind that are 'invisible' to those who simply 'use' or identify at the front end or surface. This is also true of the digital network - which is an extension of our lower mind.
I say lower because, the conscious qualities of a living presence - such as insight, discernment, recognition, honour and gratitude,  transcend and precede the programmed and programming mind.

We collectively have drifted into identifying ever more deeply with 'control mind' - and are losing the call and the culture of our truly Conscious being.
That which identifies control as safety, order and a self justified specialness of self, is blind to the truly Conscious and only sees it insofar as it can exploit it.
Meeting in shared purpose is very different from forcing outcomes. The quality of trust is extended and embodied.

Our architecture reflects our values - as does all that we embody. But it also inculcates those values as a subliminal conditioning.

Billions of us are spending a lot of time in this new 'environment' (regardless of the particular brand). I call for a conscious discernment as to the choices that collectively we are each and all making - because what we make tends to make us in its own image.

To sell a virtual world as a distraction for a desecration of our living relationship, (the Life), may provide meds against despair and chaos - but it takes another step away and ultimately only delays addressing and correcting the core issues that set up the experience of conflict, distrust, dissonance and dis-ease.

I was drawn to the Mac in the 90s in part because I felt a machine being fitted to Man rather than man being fitted to the machine. And in a way that made the machine more 'human-friendly' and creatively fun and less clunky, ugly and conformed to corporate business edicts. But that core principle was abandoned with Mac OSX - or at least adulterated and compromised to a marketing mentality. (And there are historical reasons which account for why).

The blindness leading up to the financial collapse is as nothing to the blindness of our passive acceptance of the cultural developments of our time. It is not as a conspiracy theorist or doomsdayer that I write - but simply in witness for a Conscious appreciation of the Life that we share (whether we like it or know it or not), and in a desire to wake up (from a dead end) to a life more abundant.

Its not just a product, its not just an operating system. It is mind expressing itself - consciously or unconsciously; wisely or chaotically.
Much that seems wise for the short term reaps a bitter harvest. We have to do more than think-react. (Or should I say less? Yes we have to calm down a bit, connect with our being and feel more).
