I understand the persona of mr Blair has become associated with deception and the power agenda of the very rich and powerful. I am not addressing this aspect of what is written above but of something that I feel moved to reply to… whoever said it.

Ideological identity operates a seduction that distorts and filters vision. But disillusionment (with such thinking) is only another version of disconnected thinking that is pretending to deal with 'the real world'.

Any thinking that is not connected to and thus expressing an honest and uncoercive presence is necessarily a mask - no matter what appeals or threats and protections are asserted.

One can elect to play the mask or persona and thus operate within the dictates of its self-justifications. Everyone who hides behind a mask has to justify their 'self' to themselves - and does so by seeking mutual reinforcements of both positive agreements and negative adversaries. Society itself tends to be a reactive layer of conditioned identities unless and excepting we truly pause from such disconnected thinking and regain a clear and unified focus.

Politics has been sidelined by changes with which our thinking has not caught up - and which are changing more rapidly than the old way of thinking can catch up. Our self and world definition has become so disconnected and delusional that it is disintegrating amidst a period of major adjustment or correction.

How we organise our society will reflect the consciousness from which we operate and which frames our perceptions and reactions.

A delusional foundation cannot give fruit to anything but more of the same kind. Jesus said it too. I don't hide behind Jesus - but stand within the same convictions. A disconnected world does not need saving, but waking up from a blind and default subscription that operates on fighting 'evil' rather than focusing within and extending the Good. Jesus also said 'resist ye not evil'. Most have tried to interpret him within the terms of a disconnected world of masked agendas. If there really is a desire to re integrate one's consciousness - one's thought word and deed - then one has to own one's own negative choices in order to release them AS choices no longer, and replace them with a fresh inspiration. Those whose allegiance to the mask actively sought to undermine the healing of a true communication, he called hypocrites (actors) or indeed those of the lie and the father of the lie. But truly he was identifying within Consciousness and not judging against persons.
To adapt to a world that is founded in a lie might seem real - but that is because one shares the wish that such a world be dearer to you than truth. Truly connected thinking operates of a different set of laws than that of Newtonian Physics - (or of the obfuscations thereafter which have sought to integrate an expanded view of a disconnected world).
But the new physics is innately hidden from powermongers great or small - for they are willingly and wilfully distracted in action and reaction and have no appreciation of a unified consciousness what so ever. Nor therefore of consciousness itself. The world YOU meet and experience and share is YOUR consciousness - which is a Gift - whether you choose to share in like kind to your Source Consciousness or un-kind yourself in hatred and fear and 'clever thinking'. Caring about each other and our world must rise above the dictates of a loveless 'correctness' that allows insinuations and assertions of victimhood to wield insidious power over our freedom to choose and learn by our choices.
The devil is not just in the details - but pervades the whole house of cards.

While there are 'ruthless' pursuers of a private self interest, that use any ruse to get wealth and power (as they define it), there are many more who have accepted the belief in man made climate change as an extension of man made pollution, exploitation and blind greedy selfishness in all his works.

When a view is accepted that validates judgement of an evil in another - or in this case ourselves collectively, it breeds a self-righteousness - especially when the other does not agree with one's persuasions. A superficial rationality is soon abandoned for more 'effective' measures - as the goal is used to justify the means.

Whenever a goal is used to justify the means, a masked personal agenda is distorting and filtering perceptions and interpretations such as to only allow those interpretations and communications that 'support' the cause. Thus communication is lost to coercive intent. And indeed the mechanism of denial that is inherent in such a dynamic is immediately projected onto those who 'will not listen' (agree).

That a campaign was uncovered to be operating as a kind of propaganda war rather than scientific endeavour may itself have been a reaction to meeting a propaganda war from vested interests in countering anything that was believed to threaten those interests.

But clearly, whatever issues of climate are involved - including our degree of influence, issues of consciousness have coloured and distorted them so as to make it difficult to discuss and debate in a simple willingness to listen.

I see this issue as being 'science on trial' - for Science Itself cannot be guilty of anything - being simply a tool - but the manner in which it is practiced or subverted is of course open to being fitted to masked human agenda - whether the opportunistic manipulations of deceit, or that of unconscious archetypes of the split consciousness in fear, guilt and projection.

Science is liable to vanity and arrogant blindness as is any human endeavour, and just as tacitly communicated collective self interest can fuel a financial bubble of unreality that then crashes to misery, so too can a world view - considered real in its day - come crashing around us to reveal that we were deceived in ourselves.

It is true that there are those who choose to initiate or guide and harvest from deceit - but to rest in such perception is a convenient truth for the continued evasion of the uncovering of one's own personal agenda.

Change is the only constant - even change changes! And by it does Life reflect unto Itself.
When we fall asleep in meanings that we defend against change, we become suckers to our own scam - and of course invite others to join our 'party' at both ends of the 'food chain'.

I have a globalist goal here that I wish to share - and that is for global well being. I feel that this is never going to be as a result of enforcing any agenda on anyone - but of course force is part of the spectrum of our communication and necessary in maintaining conditions in which harm to self and others is limited such that better ways can be discovered.

But coercion operating through a mask is the 'same old story' of a fearfully disconnected blindness that we all know in ourselves at one degree or another.

I appreciate being able to discern the archetypes and symbols of consciousness in the world that I used to think was separate from my consciousness experience of it. I feel that learning to see the world in terms of our underlying definitions and beliefs, is a key to rewakening at a creative level which polarised struggle denies us.

If we personalize the issue, we lose the capacity to speak truth to 'power', and inevitably act in ways that feed the conflict rather than reveal the true issues beneath it. Primate Change is not only inevitable - but is not brought about by the presumed primacy and power of primate consciousness - but rather through its disintegration as an effective mask.

In the experience of 'loss of control' any and every attempt is raised to try to regain one's mojo - or even a semblance of power and control. These are destructive and frustrate true functionality. It is a terminal decline in terms of the ability to avoid transformation. Change we will - whether gracefully or with much wailing, woe and gnashing of teeth!

Because the carbon idea was charged with the fear idea, it became real enough for technologists to align a movement in response to its call. Not all of this is evil intent but may be barking up the wrong tree!

Alignment with our true being - as consciousness responsibility, inevitably includes an intimate relationship with our environment and each other - because we have accepted such intimacy within ourselves - and not otherwise.

One can learn to recognize the coercive elements of any interpretation or communication from the checkpoint of a free consciousness. Free to be what it is without coercion of guilt and fear and all their progeny. Regardless of the degree of man's influence on the cycles of change that are inherent to our Living Earth - I reject the element of coercive fear and presumed but hidden guilt. For I see these as the 'deceiver' - not that it is a person - but that it will personify and seem to validate its dark and dissonant premise, with reflected personal experience.

I write not as wit or repartee, entertainment or to have or voice an opinion so much as to embody a listening to the meanings and feeling of idea that is beneath the world we so easily and readily engage. In this way I would undress (deconstruct) the mind of its story - and if that appeals to you, you'll read a bit more and if not, you'll enjoy your story.

Fantasy, sexual or otherwise, is a private affair. A separating affair - that seems to be something it is not - otherwise it would be freely alive rather than using YOUR aliveness for ITS enactment. ITS fulfilment is like a drug, that hits but doesnt really fulfil and only needs repeating. The process of which hollows out or depletes joy and desensitizes feeling to ever shallower conditioned reaction regardless of the self-justifying mentality of the fantasy self that is being 'explored'. (This is different where the fantasy is in no way confused with reality - but the appetite for fantasy dissipates in true presence).

To use another for fantasy purposes who is in some sense willing to be used in exchange for using you sets up a mutual agreement that runs in place of honouring the true relational reality. (In context of a truly loving relational sense, all things - including fantasy - serve a different purpose of an awakening intimacy of being. Intimacy is not bodies - but oneness. To have the form without the Spirit is hollow show - but to have the Spirit will always have tangible effect - though the effect is not where the focus is.

Mutually using each other as consensual relationships isnt as innocent as it likes to think it is - for as soon as the Life in the other is not honoured, they are seen as a means to an end - and in that purpose, the mind is actually at war with the other so as to manipulate an outcome to its own personal agenda and will use the forms of kindness as a mask as much as it will use an overtly coercive intent such as instilling guilt or fear and taking advantage of the traction that that gives the mind of control.

Normal can be anything - deception, slavery and war and appalling inhumanity can be normal in that they can be pervasive and unchallenged.

If an addiction can be normalised, then the addict doesnt have to meet the dissonance of finding their perspective dictated by a coercive or tyrannous intent.

Ultimately, the exploring of a fantasy must realize that it costs Reality - and the Reality is infinitelty fulfilling in ways that are ever new and this Alive - and of which the little mind in its little private show cannot even imagine.

Everything is permissable to Reality - in that there is no limit on thought and action and effect spring from thought. God doesnt censor your freedom to think. But not everything is helpful to you and you (as we all) learn there are consequences implicit in every thought.

It isnt that there is a you with a free will perfecting your self (or not!) - but that the thought you accept and validate as yours by living out from it is actively filtering and defining your identification and in a sense, creates your experience out of a mutuality of thinking.

This deception or fantasy is dancing for you now as a sense of a reality that fascinates and distracts as if to become something or indeed escape something.

I watched a woman walking her dog along a beach once. the dog chased every single pebble thrown out to sea in utter futility - and yet avidly, with glee! The woman herself was bored - it went on out of sight without let-up.

Boredom must be one of the wonders of the Universe. Do you thing Angels queue to see? The power of thought is not as we think it - but as it thinks us. To put power aside like an old toy is to let love come out to play. Was there all along but I just didn't notice, recognize or feel able to allow.

In a culture of win win opportunism, no one looks for - or cares about this sort of thing - and blowing whistles is like pissing in the wind. Almost everyone with a financial stake was participating in a culture of callous irresponsibility; spending the future.

Now there is a shift to escape a true accounting, by becoming suddenly righteous and seeking out scapegoats upon which we can displace what is ultimately our own uncorrected mind.

This is an ancient magical ritual that perpetuates a fearful and dishonest basis of identity and thought. It seems that some parts are sacrificed for the whole to move on - but in fact it is truth that is sacrificed so that self-illusion can play on.

The good news about awful self discovery is that one is no longer needing to run and hide from it. There is more good news to come - but it grows from setting forth from a different basis than the mask of deception.

This doesn't mean that there is isn't a need to bring institutions into alignment with the real needs of those for which they are to serve - but that the way of it can either be a whitewashed superficial makeover or a true change of heart and mind.

I agree with Mervyn King, that we need a culture change - but that the root of such a change is not found in rapping the knuckles and a telling off. Cultural renewal isn't about fixing up a corrupted system - but of discerning and embodying a true sense of value in all that we think and do.

Our relationships have become - 'whatever we want' or present them to be - excepting they are not real on such a basis - because they do not first honour the basis by which relationship MEANS something. Integrity and trust are necessary for communication to truly occur. Without them, all is war. This may seem to be justified by Darwinian interpretations, but a house divided does not stand.

The Babel of the modern mind is falling down even as I write - for it thinks to make itself in its own image - and believes it!

Instead of setting ourselves up to determine (or manipulate) truth-  we would be better served if we let ourselves share in truth. This is indeed a culture shift for it calls on a conscious relationship rather than a codified set of regulatory controls that effectively allow the mind to fall into an unconsciousness in which it is easily manipulated by thoughts that would be thrown out in the light of a shared and conscious reason.

Norway's dignity in the aftermath of Breivik

To look at the capacity of the human mind to delude itself with assertions, identifications, beliefs and justifications, could be a real opportunity for us all.

Our usual 'defence' is to vilify that in others which we hate and exclude from ourselves - and so we do not allow ourselves to see the way our own minds work and nor do we become free of the patterns of identification with thoughts, beliefs and stories that make our own life denying habitual mindsets.

A lot of life denying habit is socially normalized and doesn't attract interest or attention. But it still exacts its cost.

Breivik's acts are shocking in that he acted out fantasies that are not altogether uncommon in the opinionated and alienated, who are fearfully attracted to hate as a way of joining against what they fear.

Life denying habits of mind result in actions proceeding from that mind. If enough people start to feel mutually justified in their delusional projections, they become an atmosphere from which a 'hero' or leader will arise.

The mind of hateful opinion is an energetic that does not care what side it is on or what issues it transmits itself through. It uses any host that subscribes to it and hollows it out and sets it against itself and its fellows.

To look at such within ourselves and not subscribe to its agenda, is to free our minds of fear, and to regain a natural capacity for timely and proportionate relationship and action.

That is, to be restored to a sanity that we did not realize we had lost, because we were so sure that we already knew what was real, that we didn't  really check in and find out. (Delusion).

I commend the Norwegian's willingness to defend their culture by living its demonstration.

The restatement and renewal of cultural values via their tangible demonstration is the true protection against the mentality that would use the mere lip service to our values to serve their own private personal or corporate agendas.

Cultural Renewal is an expression of a fresh connectedness with the source of ideas and values that tangibly reflect or express our true nature in ways that fit our times. This is more than maintaining order; it is uncovering and sharing the basis from which order is freely embraced, rather than merely imposed upon.

When Breivik wakes up to his mistake, he will hate himself - or rather, his self hatred will surface as a core component of what he believes he is. If he then repents of loving to hate, he will suddenly find a fresh basis and purpose present in place of a terrorized mind, set to face always away from its own fear in acting out a masked fantasy self.

For now, he offers a demonstration of the nature of delusion in tragic consequence.

Evil is not the lie - but the commitment to the lie at the expense of truth. Be conscious as to what you invest in, by discerning in the heart. Without the heart, ideas run wild and recreate themselves in their own image.
