While a major catastrophe MAY trigger an awakening, 'catastrophism' is the mentality we are to awaken FROM!
You only need to have the eyes to see and the ears to listen, in order to receive and perceive truly - if YOU essentially define yourself in such a way that ONLY catastrophe can 'break the spell' of your own self-programmed identity the YOU need catastrophe to get you to listen up and pay attention!
The more we train our mind to notice the ways by which we listen instead to our own propaganda - and choose to leave it behind us - unused - the more we discern Life within its Own Recognitions instead of via the filters and distortions of a false self-premise.
Because we all live in each other as well as with each other we will find our own 'homecoming' coincides and meets with others along the way. But if we set ourself up as a shepherd to get everyone else to tune in to what we believe is true then we haven't let truth speak through us - and are still in the business of asserting power rather than sharing power. Asserting belief based reality rather than sharing knowing-based reality.
The mindset of 'power OVER' is one of competitive exclusionism - a selfishness that allows only for a 'love' that IT can command and control. Its symbols in the world are those persons, institutions and corporations that exemplify such power ideals.
Give unto the mindset of Caesar what is due unto it; namely disregard and withdrawal of validation - of heartfelt allegiance and identifications derived FROM it either positive or negative.
Give unto God - not some jealous exclusive power-god who would 'lord it' over Life - but unto the Life of your Life - and the true qualities of your shared existence ALL that Is due unto 'Him/Her' and which the 'lording it over' mentality presumes to take as witness to its own power.
This 'corrects' the mind of self-delusions and vanities by acknowledging truth. I do not have power in and of myself excepting to share it as it is given me in love. If I choose to share the idea of self-power that creates unlike love - that is in secret from its own true nature - then I choose to forget who and what I am as Life Expression in order to wilfully persist in dark, fearful and unshared thinking. That we can seem to join in such thinking is the only power it has. But there is no intimacy in conditional demands set and met - no matter how ingeniously we devise and disguise our transactions.
To regain true power one has to release false power. From the perspective of false power - there IS no true power but only force and guile - that makes truth in its own image. But You do have a Source Consciousness - and its Gift is undefiled by anything you can think or do. Freedom is what You Are - and only pausing from misidentifying definition will allow You to recognize this is forever true regardless the circumstances. Of course we ARE mostly deeply identified within our character and script and unaware of it - and the script operates in darkness in order to be experienced real. Thus Gilad is correct in saying we only need to live and speak and act from the light that refuses to hide fear and thus hide in fear. 'Goyim' could be a term for the non-illuminated - that is those who are unaware of the script-level. However, I venture that a true illumination exposes and dispels any coercive or manipulative persona-status as a scripted deception no less than any other dreamers of a curiosity in loveless segregation.
The hatred of the Light is the fear of non-existence and personal 'damnation' - yet that is only a reflection of what fear has MADE of the Light. There IS no fear IN the Light - yet even our persona and world becomes a vehicle of Expression when given TO the Light. Anyone with music in their heart knows this in practical terms; an absence of coercion opens a channel of true communication and sharing. Humanly we have explored all the ways we can of trying to bend the light to our will and suffered fragmentation and conflict in fear, pain and isolation.
In our ultimate defeat is our true hope - for what we try to take by guile and force is freely given to the willingness to share. It took millennia to learn the mindset and world of scarcity and limitation that false power demands and it will be a process of releasing that distortion which reintegrates the Expression to its awareness of Source. But our Now is the point of willingness, discernment and desire.
It is impossible to hate what is truly owned and embraced as part of You - though it is completely possible to leave it unchosen. What we give focus to determines the world of relation that we experience. Waking up to the script is not the refuelling of another self-determination to grasp and wield power - no matter how 'noble' the surface intent.
We have become expert in self deception and thus self-limitation - for our own reasons. But we are not obliged to persist in that learning any longer than it is our desire to do so.
When a deceiver hides in any form, the form gets to be identified with fear and hatred.None of us are as innocent as we present to ourselves or our world - at personality level. And all of us are Expressions of a Life Creativity that can not be defiled - but CAN be covered over with diversions and distractions.
Identity has become a matter of differentiation in form - where in truth we are identified by our Source Consciousness, and the unique signature we each communicate is a differentiation of the freedom to embrace, extend and reflect within the infinity of Life Expression. At this 'level' we are Spoken through. True love or creativity is spontaneous and simply cannot be done - though mimicry can pass off as a 'fine set of clothes' to a fearful (self-doubting) audience.
Self-doubt is in 'search of identity' or validation - but our existence is already wholly given and is not in doubt unless we confuse existence with concept, image and idol. The 'world' of warring identifications is necessary to maintain a false id. Hence the need for the enemy or other to 'unify' that which otherwise would disperse in its own free directions of Life-integration. But to the 'jealous god' of an exclusive identity such reintegration is the greatest heresy and threat to its 'power'.
When the self righteous shout their hatred of the lie - be sure they are covering their own. That's how it works. If, like Jesus, one recognizes the capacity to lie (or assert fantasy at cost of truth) and the kinds of ignorances and fears that drive such behaviour, then there is already a capacity to embrace the being and forego the behaviour - and the thinking behind it. There may also be the capacity to serve as a reflection of worth to those who feel they have to steal it to have any - simply by not joining in hatred.

"To see illusion as it is, rather than to see illusion through an illusion, is to wake from the dream".
The set-up for the scam is financially orchestrated. The 'rationale' for opening up the remaining commonwealth to disaster capitalism seems then unarguable, but it is because the terms within which choice is made have been predetermined.
I feel that we don't see this because our own minds operate the same kind of deceptions. That is to say, the world we see is an unrecognised reflection of our consciousness, individually and collectively - for Consciousness is BOTH.
The polarized struggle of the 'individual against the collective' - is an illusion of power within which we experience ourselves segregated and disconnected from our true nature, and in a state of perpetual war for survival (on our own terms).
The engagement and hope of 'winning' of such a war operates as the depletion and further disintegration of order, such as to increase the fearful demand for command and control that set the scam in motion.
The split-mindedness of such polarisation is that we do not recognize we do this unto our Self - but instead identify with a secret 'elitist' agenda that is unconscious of its fearful programming by dint of its self-righteous justifictions.
The result is a distorted perception (and resultant identity thereof), whose filters of definition and belief effectively block recognition of the situation as it is.
While we choose to operate FROM such a basis, we are not free to question or challenge its authority. Of course to challenge anything set in motion to bolster a fearful LACK of authority will trigger defences that will frame such enquiry as heretical or subversive. Know that one's conflicted struggling sense of existence is ALREADY evidence of a subversion 'passing itself off' as The Version.
In order to be in receipt of a current version - and discern what is relevant and resonant with what and who you truly want to be - is the transformational honesty that lays down or puts aside self-specialness.
Our true power - and glory - of individuality is known only within relation to another and to our relations with the 'All' of the World.
The transformation from 'prodigal wasteland' to true and rich abundance is a turnabout away. To turn from an elitist exceptionalism of a segregating mentality to an Embracing Humanity, is a grace whose timing rests on willingness and not wilfulness. But the cost of wilfulness is being laid bare with every unfolding of the drama of 'power' let loose upon the world.
Will is what you want, even if pretending to be who you are not. We can not 'escape' our choice, and do not need to. We only need recognize our will to connect again with a living choosing - as which we are free to choose anew. The play of victim is the first deception whereby to become as one is not. This is not 'easy' territory to reclaim - but neither is to be victim to the ravages of fear and guilt in a world gone mad.
Rising to the challenge is Life Force Awakening. Reacting to the bait is choosing to persist in unconsciousness. Austerity is coercive - but learning how to do more with less is opening the door to a true abundance. It is all a matter of focus and purpose. What Do you want? Free Will effectively Creates you AS this Expression - but what we choose can pre set the terms of all successive choices if we set such choice as a lens through which to serve private agendas of an un-shared nature.

The dynamics of power are not news to those in the know - but it is news to be in the public domain and is a loss of face to those who maintained some credibility with their respective populations.
Power is wielded by controlling perceptions, by holding information advantages that can either make or break careers, by inducing 'partners' into corruption or reputation shattering complicities and then holding that veiled threat amidst 'preferential' treatment for compliance. Or simply into believing the 'enemy' must at all costs be defeated and secrecy must sacrifice integrity to a negative self appreciation.
Power is wielded by undue and often hidden influence upon the systems of financial governance and regulation, by the dominance of corporate and shadow government hegemony. By the massive dominance in arms both conventional and secret, biological, technological, and neurological - but all of the above share the necessity for fear to be induced and maintained.
Power to control and manipulate does not share. It may create hierarchies of obedience with inducement and penalty - but is does not communicate or share Life. It is blind to Life in its attempt to possess it.
True power shares. true power lies in not using coercion, deceit or force for merely private advantage. Honesty and integrity may be considered naive for the 'real world'. But they are the ONLY basis for any real world, in which a co-operative intent can hold a diversity of creative expression in a shared sense of value. The only unified intent of the power hungry and the power dependent is to remain secret. The addict is in denial - but has trashed the family relations, stolen and squandered the money and given all true power away for a deceit that makes all things hollow - a prodigal wasteland.
So what about our consciousness then? Is the world not a reflection of the way the mind works. Is what we see in the world a reflection of our own conscious involvement? Blaming and hating works to deny this - but that is merely a redistribution device - not a healing. That's the means of self-deception. Accountability is an honest accounting for and not an Inquisition.

Pussy Riot and Russia's surreal 'justice'
When people become certain of their identity as 'fighting against' something believed wrong - or evil, they give themselves justification to break or except themselves from rules. If these rules are merely rules set by an illegitimate act - then those rules and the authority that made them is being challenged, and this can be an assertion of authority that witnesses to an illegitimacy. To take over a church as a stage and to be so dishonouring to the purposes and community that uses it doesn't feel like a witness to Putin's illegitimacy, or an act of legitimate opposition - but a shock tactic to get attention. It can be argued that such things 'work' - but I suggest that any momentary advance is met with a shift in mind that becomes more polarized and less available to any process of communication.
In respect of setting precedent, is it to be applauded or rewarded if anyone with a grievance or a cause, acts in this way?
However, to jail such offenders is entirely disproportionate - and is like the disproportionate sentences given anyone involved in last year's UK riots. It attempts deterrent rather than serve justice.
There may be a groundswell of a movement to rise up against or openly challenge Putin, and those within it may feel emboldened. If anyone gives the opportunity to use force by seeming to be a terrorist or an agent of foreign influence, I doubt Mr Putin will hesitate to use extreme force.
To withdraw allegiance and support for what one feels in one's heart to be illegitimate may not require taking a stance of being a lawbreaker or a rebel, but simply to provide only the letter of the law insofar as 'giving to Caesar' requires. To give others power is to lose one's own. It isn't worth hating or opposing if doing so makes of one's life a justified hatred or vengeance. Better to consciously focus on what is real in our lives and if called for, give witness from that shared reality when a communication needs to be made.
It is so easy to hate - and to love doing so when the 'other' is mutually agreed to be hateful. And there is a sort of hysterical attraction to it, in which we feel we are finding freedom, but are simply being used. Whoever gets in ... will tend to take the power role that fits or expresses the consciousness of the people. They may rebrand under new banners and change all the props and seem like a new beginning, but look around.
Instead of changing the world; change our mind about the world - by observing and becoming responsible at a level of awareness that manipulators (victims and victimizers both) do not want to be opened.
The issue of power over others, is so fundamental to our human consciousness - but in personalizing it, we play the game of divide and rule. The mind of deception and manipulation does not care who hosts it, and can easily insinuate itself into and as our personal thinking.
I write this in case anyone has some sense of this and recognizes themselves in it. The world is a sort of playground for getting experience and making identity - but at some point that becomes shallow and meaningless - and not a true or legitimate calling to the heart. And so we wake up to a different purpose or motivation - that expresses a wholeness into relationship rather than manipulate relationship for personal getting.
Growing the former, is starving the latter. As we grow this 'culture' within our own life we see and serve it in others. While the attraction to conflict and guilt traps attention, no one is listening, but these things do not truly fulfil us or hold allegiance forever and there are times when there is a genuine desire to find a better way.
