A Consciousness Perspective:

Identity theft is nothing new. Truth is not 'out there'. Insofar as anything true is 'out there' it is recognized through one's own truth.

As Consciousness is accepted as our Ground Reality there will be no need to manufacture or employ 'truths' as weapons of leverage and control because truth will be self-evident and beyond question or conflict.

In the mean 'minded' while, any form of anything is meaningless (or means anything and nothing) because the meanings given to things reflect a false or conflicting identification as the 'doer' or 'controller' of consciousness. This is self-illusion or vanity of ignorance and arrogance. Nothing worthy or sane can come of it save the recognition and release of what we are NOT.

Science predicated upon materialism already asserts metaphysical notions that filter and distort receptivity to truth. Of course many notions operate true within their specific range of focus and provide frameworks of intervention into existing patterns of relationship. When enough people agree, their mutually reinforcing definitions operate as currency regardless whether they share true value or pass off toxic debt in place of true worth.

"I" me and "self' are shorthand symbols for facets of the operation of will, but when will is usurped by conditioned belief, it operates the illusion of freedom under the tyranny of fear. What is given power to, becomes power over the giver, because it is asserted and believed true.

Hiding a lie or hiding in a lie may be 'justified' by the narrative of the liar - such as not publicizing information that reflects badly on one's institution and thus give ammunition to the perceived 'heretics' who must at all cost be prevented from gaining influence. But that has nothing to do with science as a discipline of uncovering the (already) true. It is simply the idea of war upon the hated self.

The egocentricity of the segregative or separating self is implicit in the use of the term self, in most usage. But corruption operates upon something true or it would have no meaning as corruption. Corruption begins with taking self-image over true relation and protecting it at cost of truth. It operates a mask or deceit by which NOT to know what in fact one knows. It splits the mind. It plays apart as if oppositional and separate, and seeks the validation that only real relationship offers by joining in forms that mimic aspects of unity without actually joining or relating with anything beyond its own strategy.

Recognizing 'out-of-true' is the opportunity to true up. NOW. Blame operates to divert from truing up, punishment to forbid it - save through long diversionary 'processes of change' that effectively kick real change into long grass while engaging hypocrisy (acting). Tyranny is first within the mind of refusal to embrace and embody change (life). Freedom is an inside job - an 'in-place' shift of perception and perspective that uncovers an already freedom which had been 'given away' to a dream of power and self-specialness. But freedom cannot truly 'leave you' at the level of your true nature - though one can actively deny it in assertion of imagined right to override true nature. We are free to war within ourself if we want, while it gives us something we believe we need or want enough to pay the price.

The baby in the bathwater is the uncorrupted service of science to true uncovering of Who we are and what Life Is. Because one begins from a false foundation there is a necessary revisionary shifting as a greater perspective illuminates the error of one's starting place. However, the inspirational movement to follow one's joy of discovery and gifting of talent in service of life is itself pure - even if imperfectly appreciated within the framework of egocentric identity and drives.

The model is 'all in the mind' - albeit in broad mutual agreement. I am in no doubt that Reality is Mind and that any holographic microcosm of Mind can yield or release its personal identification investment in mutual definitions and know - and I say know - Existence with no shadow of doubt or interference of any kind. But One - any one cannot share or give or communicate any facet OF Existence but through some degree of self definition in relation to the aspect of Existence that is moving as the focus of current desire. However, self-definition is not necessarily exclusive and indeed is free to shift perspective - infinitely. A Universe of Living Information or Communication that extends the Time-less Infinite as Idea is not 'inside anyone's skull'. But materialism diminishes Consciousness almost to want to render it obsolete - excepting as a leverage of technologism that in fact turns out to be directed by a private personal agenda after all. This is evident in cultural, social and political thought and consequent behaviour.

It really is a matter of perspective. But the mind of 'command and control' has science derailed from its desire to uncover truth into a presumed neutral and verifiable determination of truth. But all of it is model which may serve some purposes and hinder others.

The alarm bell for a scientist or seeker of truth in any kind of approach is the symptoms that reveal a biased agenda. When science identifies institutionally it has an ego and can be seen to operate a self protectionism of the establishment. Believing neednt be a weak attempt to hold something true to ward off self doubts. For by belief is experience of had. The key - I feel to offer, is to stand in one's belief as one's presence extending as willingness to relate or communicate as part of an ever new appreciation. The belief is a decision in consciousness that operates more as a navigational pathway or channel of communication than as a shield or sword.

But the core Idea of violence as Creation is deeply embedded into the traumatised collective human consciousness and colours everything until it is observed instead of running a program unnoticed. The Idea of no time or timelessness - from which and in which EVERYTHING that is, is and is known to be in the Mind that it is OF, offers a release from the limiting, splitting, warring, mentality that has characterised the human condition for millennia and yet is a conditionING that can be observed and released for a more joy-aligned choice. This is not anti-science for joy is also our genius or more aptly, a channel through which Life Shares Meaning. Of course one can turn one's back on joy and make sacrifice of consciousness, the 'creation' of a self-sense in its own power, but never free of grievance and vengeance no matter how one used magic and rationality to present otherwise.

So busy looking out because of fear that within is an invalidation of self. Its a kind of scam. But one has to extend a true worth to regain one's own and that cant come from a wishful or fearful foundation.

That elicited my reply:

I had an emotional response to this site deleting my longer reply to yours.  But a coercive hidden agenda operates through notions of purity just as through notions of rationality or indeed the wishful and gullible self-seeking for protection. The price of being out of true is lack of peace, grievance, limitation, struggle and suffering one's projections as if they are actually 'out there'. I do feel the 'church' of scientism is in bed with corporate and financial technologism and that it is a racket.

Albert Einstein was a self centered, egotistic man who received credit for a lot of work he never did. In fact, his entire thesis or theory of General Relativity isn't necessary to describe how this universe works, because most of his work is entirely based on the Laws of Thermodynamics, force, and motion, and he never gave credit to Sir Isaac Newton.

My reply is to Rick's comment:

But he has been iconized and is now embedded in a directed 'history' that most everyone presumes to be genuine currency - and once people think they know and like what they think they know - they don't want to know. But not everyone, so thanks for your comment. We are all containing an ego-centric aspect that can often disguise itself in terms of respectability or acceptability. I don't feel to invalidate a human being as if to validate myself - NOT that I see you doing that - but it so often happens that we like to be right about the wrong we see exclusively or predominately in another. As I do not originate myself I cannot have an original thought - but I can extend a willingness for communication that does not mask a hidden agenda - to the best of my current ability. Passing off as something one is not is an expression of ego substitution for a genuine life. But in making mistakes we CAN become aware of poor choices and so come to better ones.

I don't feel a person needs to invalidate another to advance an agenda either. The fact is he was ego-centric and self centered as his relationship with his wife and children clearly shows. In so far as the rest. The fact is Newton's Laws of Thermodynamics are all that is necessary to create and demonstrate exactly how our universal model functions, and also disproves Einstein's theory of General Relativity.

Societal norms brought out the egotist in many males in many ways. There is a dance between the individual and their conditioning that often fails to transcend it.
I don't know about your assertion on Newton. What's your take on WHY or HOW the establishment embraced and reformed around Einstein's passing off? (If it is clearly not true, what function is it serving?)

Does the subatomic 'Universe' fit the Newtonian model? I think not. If there is a clear benefit, then a perspective has that much validity for the beneficiary at least. However reputation without substance may seem a benefit but actually operates a disintegrity. So true is a matter of self-honesty. Without such foundation - there IS no foundation!

100% Faith

Presumed knowledge is blindness to what is actually present.
The terms faith and belief are misused and misidentified.
It is quite so that personal identity professes beliefs or to have faith in what seems reasonably evidenced to their particular perspective. But these are often aspects of a masking identity - for what we actually do, comes from what we actually define and accept ourselves to be in any given moment or situation.
Everyone has 100% faith - but what is it invested in (in any given moment)? One may have faith in 'rational thinking' and presume no faith is involved. But this is the realm of the mask or personae in which assertions of self are justified and defended against the ever changing un-knowability of manifest existence.
The higher mind is out of range to the personality construct - but is natural to one's awareness.
The persona self is a construct and not a thing existing in and of itself.
Identifying exclusively in mask is to be defined and to suffer a coercive and threatening sense of existence. Everyone comes up with their own ways of coping with this - including the supremacist arrogance of a presumed rationality. "Should we banish faith forever?" Is this the New World Order? A joke? or both?
A true science recognizes its foundation in definition - for without self-definition there is NO perspective-experience available. A false science operates as if its predicate is exclusively true.
The "One true God" mistake, is one of exclusive personal definition, and replicates as the one 'empirical truth'. This is a liability of the fight/flight mentality in which the personality has become pervasively identified.
No one has to 'justify' their beliefs in terms of another - but may communicate if approached in a willingness that values communication.
Rationalism divorced from Reason would invalidate anyone who does not conform and use the form of communication as a coercive device. This sort of thing feeds anti rationalism - because meeting a lovelessness in others, is the temptation to project one's own fears and guilts' - one's own feared and hated evil intent - ONTO those who blindly assert power or propagate lovelessness in ways that effectively undermine any other perspective than their own.
This reaction is then equally blind and easily manipulated. Power struggles USE such tactic as a matter of course - hiding within a masked agenda.
Freedom is the inherent capacity to accept into your mind only what is true of you. A conflicted mind is a split persona, and a conflicted world-experience. The evidence belies the foundation. Unless of course one WANTS to keep one's foundation hidden, so as to  interpret all things in its defence.
Belief in separateness - whether apparently religious or apparently atheistic is the same faith. Science can be distorted so as to reinforce this 'faith' as can any spiritual or religious path or culture.
Materialism posits reality without consciousness - or WOULD if it could achieve it. Does not this reveal the hidden agenda of 'rationality' as DENIAL of Consciousness? Is that not THE 'faith' by which the human ego - in any disguise, maintains a semblance of believability and thus its operability in its filtered and distorted version of 'the world'?

Happiness

Happiness at its root is a core function of being - of our being.
Happiness always expands and gives permission for being - but tends to then be associated with the forms of the situation or event.
Egocentricity, is the sense of identifying with the persona and its mental chatter - which runs like a virtual layer of interpretive imaginations on top of what actually is simply present. It is conditionally happy - that is it defines itself such as to define happiness in specific conditions and by defining it negatively as unhappy conditions. This conditioning of nurture and nature - is founded on a sense of there being something fundamentally lacking, invalid or wrong with our self. This is a psychic divorce from our true nature upon which we construct a mask or persona - and attempt to make it valid, solid, respectable, powerful or loved. No supply of which actually satisfies more than momentarily - such that unhappiness is defined as the 'standard' where each seeks there consolations or distractions of choice from a dissonance of being that does not go away but must be kept at bay.
This is of course a crude and general sketch - but those who have opened within also recognize the territory, even if they have become more aware of the basis out from which they live.
Happiness paradoxically comes from giving it away or releasing the desire to get it. Abiding with and through boredom, doubt and discomfort is the releasing of the surface mentality that is not generally directly connected to anything real - being a mentality of conditioned reaction that believes itself free.
Freedom - to be what you are is happy - or rather the full acceptance of what is actually present always connects to a quality of being that is free of unhappiness. It also re-establishes a perspective for choosing or discerning that aligns with your joy.
Yet to wake from the dream of a life that is trying to become something in its own right - one has to become aware of the definitions that actively create our experience of any given situation - including the opportunities that are present within it.
Decide to be happy and then everything that arises can be used to serve your decision. Disappointment is the result of appointed expectations being unmet - and so one uses it to own the thoughts and feelings.
Most do not want responsibility of mind and so choose to protect unconsciousness by giving power to external agencies to supply them with substitutes or justifications.
Guilt or blame - self invalidation - is the undermining of well being. It is easy to see in act - and releasing it a Gift of Life to oneself and others. The attempt to coerce and control via guilt is never going to result in happiness, because self-betrayal is a poison that can only be healed by 'going straight', and honouring yourself and others with honesty of being. There is apparently no market to exploit in such wisdom apart from writing books perhaps - and so it has no relevance to a 'marketized and weaponized society'.
For fear can be spread in ways that 'create' dis-ease which then can be sold 'protection'. There is a global trillion dollar market for this and it has our definition of profit and value - running cancerous with a parasitic intent that has corrupted our body politic. Happiness is the antidote. True and free and joyful happiness as our ordinary now.

Virtual identities and dislocated consciousness

I feel that digital 'virtual reality' is an extension of a process of self commentary and self presentation that is ALREADY running as a virtual overlay in our minds.
Thus, one can look at the blatant and easy to see aspects of digital dislocation (if one is not consumed and identified within it), and pause to see this replicates the way our mind is already tending to work.

Identifying with illusions is a bit like 'dressing up' or constructing a self-identity as a better 'mask' or handle on the world.

Clearly this can be fun, entertaining or thrilling - but can become a substitute for what life actually is, when we take our identifications and our investment in them as more real than the fundamental experience of being and feeling aware of existence.

So yes there is a 'new territory' in which to engage in surrogate experience that our daily or working life may not otherwise afford. There is also the 'flock' mentality of becoming caught in the opinions and impressions of a mentality that is essentially conditioned and reactive.

To be able to use technology of the mind - or the digitally extended mind - without becoming lost in it or possessed by the urge to possess what is not even real - is to be truly grounded and connected in one's Self, in Life - in real relationship.

The lack of real relational honesty leaves one open to every kind of nonsense. But if this then undermines the joy and fulfilment of life it will create the conditions for re-evaluating one's orientation and foundation. BUT on the way, every kind of defence will be called upon to try to make a false foundation work. One of these is distraction from an honest appreciation or accounting - and being able to 'escape' into surrogate realities is the 'name of the game'.

But as they say - 'wherever you go, there you are'. Regardless of apparent conditions and presentations of self, reality is not affected by the mask - and yet our awareness of it IS.

Consciously on purpose life is fulfilling where it holds us in a present appreciation rather than chasing a promise or running away from a fearful or meaninglessness.

Mind - or Consciousness is so fundamental to everything we experience, that I feel to suggest exploring it as a participant - or living scientist, who is the curiosity AND the experiment. Nothing is so blinding as the mind that thinks it knows - though the most complex and convincing programs of experience and thought may arise as a result.

Garbage in - garbage out. One cannot 'save' others from their own learning experience. But nor do we have to withhold communication from a willingness to listen and learn.

Making sense of of pre-sense prior to pre-tense

We are one sense; feeling.
Awareness feels tones, qualities and textures of thought.
Awareness is not directly aware of anything but its own objects and is in no way separate from its objects.
Self awareness is a movement of recognition by which awareness knows itself aware amidst the knowing of its object. When such knowing identifies with an image or thoughtform of itself, it creates an interference pattern in the reflection of Mind, which is never static though what Mind is never changes.
This sense of a self identification has no sense of itself differentiated excepting that while identification occurs the totality 'collapses' as an ideational event of specificity and yet dissolves to totality. This collapse is experience of limitation and yet not exclusively identified. and so is concurrent with infinite or unbounded communication (Totality).
The apparent separation of consciousness as exclusively identified with limited experience is a matter of focussing of desire as attention, and interpretation of resulting experience via attraction and repulsion.
The duality of such interpretive comparisons of values reflect the active identification, and comparison of states - memory - provides the building blocks for the evolution of interpretive identifications to interact as story or process of becoming. The assumption of personal responsibility or guilt, for the sense of disconnect that this process engenders brings with it density, and opacity of experience in which a 'body' of light is covered by a symbol of separated and separating consciousness. This proxy or virtual self attempts to deny the Mind in order to maintain its mind. Yet all of the power of creating its experience is directly coming from Mind - because the separation is not actual - it is not possible to be separate from Mind and exist - even in virtual identifications of an interpreted reality.
The fulfilment of function is in reopening mind to Mind as an integral wholeness of being. To be 'in the world but not of it. Mind is invisible only because it is all pervading. Its in our face - it is our face. It is invisible to the egocentric identification. But it remains true, that awareness feels or knows its object and recognizes itself in the extension of itself.
In a conventional sense we can realize in all honesty that we do not know what we are or what anything is for. This allows native being to reintegrate and transform the interpretive sense to become porous or transparent instead of self conflicting and opaque. This may be experienced as insight, inspiration, integrative answers or prompts of guidance and direction.
It comes  from beyond the capacity of control and it comes to an at least temporary suspension of control and is recognized by the desire that called it forth. Which is already moving before you knew you wanted it.

This is sketching - for feeling into. It is not an intent to define or defend as a 'body of knowledge' or point of view. It starts with the presumption of awareness. Not self, not world - but awareness or Mind.

Cyberwar

Human beings maintain their sense of identity or 'live' by illusions. So clever manipulators provide them and seek to control the market. Except that it teaches an entirely false set of values that works against our health, wealth and happiness.

Real arms control would not be a matter of cold war type thaw - but a realisation and application of wisdom.

Weapons make shields and counter weapons - communication breakdown; it's always the same.

Distraction, disinformation and effective mindcontrol can take socially acceptable or illegal forms - yet the underlying motives are the same; to get for yourself - (or your group) - the specialness or self validation that feeds your privately held desire.

The information age will be our most short lived epoch - yet significant as the transition from a private mental intent presented as to be more or less acceptable or more or less demanding, (depending on the current power balances), to an awakening desire for truth - and therefore a heart-centric approach that releases the blinkers, filters and blocks which actively undermine the experience and appreciation of communion, trust and creative endeavour.

Why would I suggest this? Because the abuse of our channels of communication for manipulative ends makes sickness - and that sickness will in time fruit an utter distrust and incapacity to participate in soul-less illusions that are without fulfillment.

So though the intensity level can be increased for a short term effect - it only exposes the program further.

Interrelatedness and interdependency are the way of life. The ego spin of being a power in our own right is a self illusion that costs the Earth.

The internet can be used to manipulate, control or get advantage over others - but to do so sets up the very scenario that cripples it of its innate capacity to share information.

When the mind that poisons everything it touches is found to be a mentality we engage by subscription, then not feeding it will emerge as the active wisdom. Those who choose and learn the way of 'not feeding the troll' bring forth recognisable traits of helpfulness that share selflessly as an expression of a culture held in common; a spirit of selflessness that works across a range of apparent differences.

A self hurtful mentality draws to it the experience of constraint, limitation and deprivation - the very conditions that must in time force a fundamental re-evaluation - and a change of heart.

To see the value in limiting and constraining the mentality of deception - wherever it expresses - is to begin to starve the war-mind of value and attention.

The position of strength to bring to negotiations - is an honest willingness to receive the worth and value of those you meet. A hidden agenda makes impotent - such that guile and charm and incentive have to be forcefully applied. In a word - war.

How does humanity deescalate insanity?

By taking one step at a time as an expression of sanity.

What is sanity?

Relating to the present as it is.

We need each other for competition, control or domination - but only as proxies for private agendas.

We need each other for sanity - for war kills truth in which the power of the sanctity of life is active.

The wars in the world are reflected symptoms of the war in our self.

It is time for individuals to actively disarm of a hurtful and loveless intent and accept conscious responsibility for life.

I don't mean become defenceless to the hacker or scammer - but defenceless to our own heart.

A trojan is an executable instruction that appears to be something else. Such is the nature of the deception to which we subscribe to in ignorance. It runs as a loop, but is alert to threat such that it creates distraction conflicts or even crashes the system rather than have its true source exposed. It would phish as your own thoughts and use your life for its hosting service.

Discernment, wisdom and trust extended.

Environmental Consciousness

Current mentalities on the environment are subtly at the source of the problem. Of course one can focus on one facet of a multidimensional issue and identify a fearful or adverse outcome or enemy and righteously align ourselves against it - but see how dumb so much of this becomes and how easily it is reduced to 'good' and 'evil' polarities not based on reality but on currently prevailing perceptions.
There is a fundamental waking up that is called for - and the nature of this waking is to the nature and politics of our own mind-set.

To be human has been defined and asserted as a private mentality in an independent organism that can then possess and exploit its own life and its own world.Writ small, this was largely held in check so as not to damage or undermine too widely - but now it is writ large in the corporate and consumer mentality that has no real relationship - no basis for love or joy - beyond the short term selfish 'getting' at long term expense - and at the expense of others - of our and other cultures - of our natural world in companionship and of our natural world as life support system.

The desire to see the deceiver/evildoer external to our own mind is a scapegoat mechanism that has to be relinquished if we are to be honest.

Only by recognizing the pattern within our own mind can we allow a change of heart to change our mind. Such change is freely and willingly embraced for though fear may initiate a sense of alarm - it need not blind us such that we merely react mechanically in selfish ignorance again - and yet again.
The resources that are available to a shared will - and a shared responsibility that grows from the ground up - are inconceivable to the mentality of separate and competing interests.
But without the awakening of a true responsibility for our use of our own minds - we cannot but continue to be deceived, manipulated and mechanically driven into the further density of a self destroying and loveless delusion.

Good Housekeeping in a Good Home, marries the practical expression of loving relationships.

Perhaps it starts with ceasing to deny or hide from the desecration of the home we share - both at mind level and world level - and sweeping out the crap that actively undermines trust and communication.

Fear is always used to distract and manipulate attention. But wisdom is resting in the heart and feeling an issue from a larger perspective than what fear would offer as your 'protector'.

Mitigating symptoms may be a part of a process - but intelligence needs to awaken to the real causes. They do not require science or intellectual prowess - but simple and profound honesty - in a context of what has been called humility.

For all the blight that humankind seem to bring to earth it is well to remember that we can also be the very beholding of the glory of the living universe. We can feel and know true inspiration and be moved to share and live on an awakened basis - despite the histories of habits that have yet to be replaced with a more heartfelt and conscious valuing of life.

The good news is that - though we can sell our soul and thus lose appreciation of the depth and interrelatedness of all things - it remains held for us on trust - until we change our mind and turnabout.

There is much talk about cooperating with nature rather than fighting it. Learning from it rather than enslaving it. This is a simple matter to anyone who isn't blinded by their own thinking.

Mind control isn't really the work of the media, governments or corporations - but is an estrangement from our own nature that sets images and meanings and definitions of self and reality - above the actual living relationship that is always present - where awareness rises to meet the world as it truly is, rather than as we would have it be.

If inspiration and insight and guidance were truly desired - they would be simply available - and effective.

What do we really want?

This question isn't addressed to an intellectual level but to our heart. This is the most fundamental act of which we are capable; to listen within and discover the desire that is truly moving in our heart. Until we are willing to truly reevaluate everything from the ground up - we run on and within old and false desires that are not sane, but are false promise based on false premise.
Be creative in your relationships with everything. Be present in your own life. Don't let fear blind you  - no matter how subtly it presents itself as you.
When Spring comes the seeds that lived invisible in the dark come forth. But the thawing of the heart is the season of your own willingness.
