Our early solar system may have been home to a fifth giant planet
(My comment is general to the conversation of major changes in our Solar System within collective human memory).
Velikovsky studied the mythic record of the cultures of antiquity with a scientific discipline. He may have misinterpreted some of his findings - but the data held so many correspondences that witness a very different past than the one that this perception of an age constructs for itself presently.
Catastrophe is inherently associated with trauma, denial and dissociation or split mind. Even without the mythic record, the assertive and coercive nature of denial in humankind witnesses to catastrophic or overwhelming trauma.
Reintegrating from a split or conflicted sense of being is a matter of timing. Understandings cannot be forced upon an unreadiness to receive them. War and woe will keep them out.
The principle of becoming aware of bias as a result of emotional charge is one of honest self awareness, but the true clearing of such charge is through the acceptance and safe expression by which it transmutes and moves as a fresh understanding. The attempt to righteously deny the emotional body is the split off mind that effectively works destruction within ever more insane rationalisations.

an officially imposed 'reality' it smacks of that coercive control

Framed in Darkness; opened to Light.
Astrophysicists inching closer to the physics truth about black holes
I sense a correspondence with the segregative identity and the paradigm of gravitic material separateness. Whereas the 'Electric Universe' restores perspective as an integrative identity of informational energy exchange within a Unified Event.
Mechanically speaking, the segregative identity operates a 'forgetting' device within 'Light' as a 'darkness' within which to operate exclusive local perspective - which is the idea of consciousness as 'power over' or coercive will.
Whilst I am expressing from an intuitive sense here, the idea of power to discern, define, discover and reflect is the idea of consciousness which IS the reflection and extension of focussing awareness through Idea.
The sense of separate consciousness is a construct, no less within Consciousness, in which All That Is , is experienced 'as if' apart from and outside of Self Awareness.
However, such experience is transformed and transcended in a reintegrative appreciation of 'as is'. Truth does not require complex thinking to maintain ideational constructs of identity, because the instant of existence is already a perfect demonstration of All That Is.
Thinking is thus released from defence and reaction to serve the signature joy of being - which is our unique 'creational unfoldment' of reflection and extension of The 'Universe Knowing Itself' as the totality of richly interacting facets. Including the capacity to perceive and believe ourself separate and self-determining within an experiential model of NOT-self. And give an exclusive priority to interpretation that can be coerced or co-opted into providing continuity for such model.

Why is there something rather than nothing?

"Why is there something rather than nothing?”
The illusory proposition takes the form of a question. Like a phishing scam, a statement in the form of a question sets a frame from which reaction is in a sense programmed by a mistaken or usurped identity.
There is Something; Fact.
Though Something is not 'there' rather than or in distinction to Something Else 'here'.
Nor does Is ever become 'was' or 'will be'.
Is Is. Is is all that Is.
What seems unapproachable to the mentality of a separated self-sense is richly reflective as an already knowing. But the knowing of being is in a sense eclipsed, by a diversion of attention and desire.
"What if nothing were as it really Is?"
This question is a fantasy for Everything IS as it Is and the idea of 'different than Is. is 'is not' or non-existence; nothing.
Pursuing the fantasy idea, and giving attention to the idea of nothing as if it were an alternative open the mind of choice. For one can release the fantasy of 'different than' or one can further attend to the experience of 'chooser' in division. Attending to such fantasy yields a personal experience of a distorted reality... within the Consciousness or awareness that Is one's existence.
The apparent alloy or adulteration of Is, with fantasy results a polarized experience of love/fear, life/death, embrace/hate, self/other, consciousness/matter, matter/space.
The presumption of a separately segregated private mind or self is the 'precious' image or concept of self generated OVER AND AGAINST fear of loss - and non-existence or death, victimhood and subjection, enslavement and meaninglessness.
The mind in its drama generates drama as the basis of an ongoing distraction of temporary darkness of ignorance within which to persist in acting out the idea of itself it has 'created'.
But beneath the mind is the perfect or uninterruptable embrace of Consciousness being All That Is - which cannot be separated from or objectified... except in concept... as fantasy in the mind.
The question "Why is there something rather than nothing?” can be FELT as the arising awareness of Is to its own welcome.
The questions that rise from being are the vanguard of their own revelation, but to personify the question by 'taking it to mind' makes the question separate from the answer and require or necessitate a process of mind upon the matter in question. As is readily observable, mind operates as an construct of thought systems of conflicting ideas to which are applied rules of congruency and continuity - (though facts are never invited to spoil a good story), each unto their own defended 'truth'.
Yet embracing and pervading the realm of personal experience - and insinuating itself as a process of reintegrating consciousness - is the movement of wholeness unto itself; the recognition and appreciation and gratitude of and for existence ITSELF.
"Why is there something rather than Everything?".
Because the movement of consciousness within is reflecting a facet of totality as your Now, that is exactly expressing the ideas personal and collective, conscious and unconscious, that extend or project the unique signature of love - of what you are giving attention to and embracing as your self.
That we have agreed to be mutually distracted in a fantasy of fear and division has not changed the Law or Nature of Consciousness Itself;
What you give out is what you get back.
Meaningless ness is the condition in which mind can come out to play in determining its OWN meanings. It is also the condition in which one recognizes the fruitless and releases its futility.
All of what is created as experience can be opened to a greater perspective or one can persist in asserting a segregating coercion in the desire for power over Life.
A true integrity embodied, and thus shared, rests in the power of Life.
Trying to fit Life (others, self and world) into our wish, yields an isolated sacrifice of all that Lives You to a false god unrecognized as such.
"Why focus in the head instead of abiding as the heart?".
Because a sense of evil, threat or loss has made you homeless - and KEEPS YOU SO.
Innocent curiosity is Free. Beliefs demand allegiance. Releasing false allegiance moves to more inclusive beliefs and to the freedom from any need to believe. The movement of being is only 'hidden' from that which would hide itself - yet even this within a larger theme of creative discovery.

The nature of this interview gives a very loud voice to Krauss that corresponds to a 'loudness' of assertion - with capacity and willingness to interrupt in a self-certainty or 'self-righteousness'. Kraus energetically 'dominated' simply because he was actively confrontational and assertive and the others tended to submit or align - including the moderator.
If nothing = lie then all that is required to make something out of nothing is to assert it forcefully enough to destabilize and realign to it.
But the illusion of 'somethingness' is revealed when the distorting force is released or removed and the original undistorted clarity reveals itself.
Clarity in this sense is not a lie - but a direct awareness or recognition... accepted, welcomed and abiding as.
In this sense Existence is no thing. because 'thing-ness' arises as the object to a point of view. Unless One differentiates, one cannot experience point of view. Thus differentiation arises from self (reality) definition. However, note that the term exclusive is not necessary here. One does not identify exclusively within differentiated reflection, unless one seeks to excommunicate or reject or deny a part of one self.
Who or what is kicking who or what out?
A split mind experiences itself fragmented as legion - as a full cast of personae operating seamlessly in a continuity of action and reaction - as if self-becoming and self perpetuating. Time and space serve to keep a fleeting now from the Eternal Nowing, to keep out 'there' from being Total Presence... until willingness for the game wears thin and is no longer worth the candle. No longer worthy of giving your Light to.
When that which had been turned inside out restores its original nature, there not the nothing-ing of one's existence, but its redemption to a true foundation. That is to say only the lie of nothingness is undone of its appearance as a 'something' and is clearly seen and thus an illusion is revealed as such rather than employed as a frame of reference. There is a shock on discovering your brother is your enemy no more!
What doesn't occur to scientists is that the 'redundancy of God' is the redundancy of 'self.' There is no separate God = there is no separate or originating self.
What is the self that is presumed to have 'evolved' as a rational capacity to 'understand' the Universe? It is presumed to be the apex of a nature that is separate from, observing and and acting upon this nature.
This is given a series of props for acting out in the physical sense of existence - that is to say manifested existence. Manifestation is a local specific rendering of non local or universal potentiality - AND IS IN NO WAY SEPARATE FROM IT.
The idea of belief of separating off from a Living Inheritance is the 'forgetting of the Father' for the manifestations of a splitting prism that likewise seeks to get for itself. This is the idea of getting nothing from Everything which cannot actually succeed because the very identification and attempt of negation, denial and self-asserting power depends 100% on that which it denies.
The Idea is the Universe - and not separate in any way from the Mind or Consciousness of which it arises.
But the segregative 'mind' renders and redefines consciousness as a tiny trickle somehow operating within material and organic limitations to which it is powerless EXCEPT by the development of its own abilities, chief of which is the cunning use of force and guile as self-justification for its own (separate) existence.

Cosmology, mythic consciousness and self-justifiction
Things That Were,Things That Are, And Things That Must Soon Come To Pass
I've scanned most of this (article). There are many narratives that point in similar directions from received historical/mythological sources as well as channelled material.
What if everything is true but your own resonant pathways of acceptance and sharing constituted your unique thread within a rich reflected infinity of All That Is?
Original sin is a concept of Christianity - but not from Jesus - who regards sin as something to awaken from and engage or identify no more. Jesus does talk of the lie and the father of the lie and this is a clue to the error from which and within which only further error can issue. To sin is to persist in unrecognized error because it seems to give something more precious than truth's acceptance.
It is all a matter of foundation - and indeed of true context.Our true foundation and context is Consciousness, and yet what we have mostly come to identify with as our consciousness is a mentality operating within and as, a walled off, separated and therefore disconnected self that equates itself with a body in a world of bodies or material reality. Be aware that actual separation is impossible. This is a journey within perception only. Thoughts do not leave their source. So to believe impossible thoughts is to experience the impossible as if it were true. It is all a matter of choosing - although the true spontaneous expression of what we have called choosing is creating - for Creation is out of Itself and not the 'choosing between' of a split mind.
Cosmologically, the separation/disconnection from the Non Physical aspect of our consciousness and its truly unified integral resonance is in past and our present is experienced within it framework. It operates as a reenactment loop and perhaps one way to look at it is to observe the traumatized split consciousness that dislocates from what it cannot tolerate in its own mythological creations - its own fearfully self-asserting story. Which is shrouded in 'mysteries' such as to be protected as subconscious necessity upon which a superstructure of self-justifiction is constructed as a personality construct that holds focus of continuity within the physical reality experience.
The identity that grows within the world is not at root in a consciousness in any way separate from Consciousness itself - yet is structured so as to 'flesh out' an individual focus within a collective 'agreement' that in truth is always a Unified Will and only seems to be many competing or conflicting wills. The mind can be used to disguise and in a sense deceive itself while it so desires - including the hiding of its desire in order to call forth and engage its experience - which is infinitely more than anything the filters of our mythic narrative and self justifiction allow.
The shock that collapses and fragments the mind so as to seem to turn it inside out upon itself, is unconscious to our justifiction or surface reality, it becomes symbolically communicative to our archetypal or mythic sensitivity - and yet can be interpreted as a reinforcement of the identity in denial that segregates and rejects in judgement against its wholeness, OR one can open to the interpretations that guide and reintegrate the seemingly segregated focus of attention to its source nature and consciousness.
The first is coercive and the second is receptive. The first is self-protective in terms of fear, the second is self embracing as willingness to love's awareness - although to desist from engaging fearful reactive thinking is to diminish the 're-enactment' of separation within the mind and allow love's awareness to rise to a conscious moment of appreciation.
Cosmology prior to a mono-religious assertion and its mono-Universe materialism, was fluid and yet all thought is creative and so holds the qualities of its creatorship integral to its creation.
The reawakening to the Consciousness that Lives us - That Lives All Things - is not inflating or adding to our identity so much as replacing and aligning a structure relevant to previous growth, with an expanded purpose.
The 'purposes' of fear are distraction, reaction, contraction and forgetting. As this purpose wears thin the movement of reintegration reinterprets it.
Each has their own timing and yet we are all part of each other because the One is in All and the All is in the One. But this is not Coercive upon you - ever.
What you put out is what you get back. The wages of 'sin' - of acting out of alignment with your joy is death of the awareness of your Soul Expressing. But only while you engage it!
Though the symptoms may persist as echoes - the immediacy of the turnabout of consciousness to alignment with its Source Code - is tangible, recognisable and restoring of peace of heart even if the mind yet persists in reflecting old habit choices. This is where one has to want alignment over and above the self-protective illusions of fear in order to demonstrate to yourself that your true will is free of all coercive intent, and so 'come home' to your natural creative belonging as one with the movement of being that you cannot not be; unfolding the ever New.

Consciousness is what is changing - hence EVERYTHING is changing
An article: Typhoon Haiyan: there is worse to come - led into the idea of Climate change.
Now I cannot say I know whether Climate change is significantly influenced by human behaviour. Nor do I know if the weather is influenced by mass consciousness - for the relationship between Consciousness and Experience has not really been allowed into anything except quantum physics yet, though Seth and many others point to a deeper Cosmology than materialism. Nor can I say I know much about HAARP (look it up) and its effects on weather - whether intended or unintended. It's all secret. Secrets and lies.
What I do know is that human consciousness has a manipulative aspect upon itself such as to seek to attempt to control any aspect of Life it can get a handle on - including perceptions or minds of others - and is riddled with deep guilt for exactly that reason - as the religious archetype shows, and which resurfaces in a climate change guilt-driven agenda.
How to know where to get information from when science is so heavily distorted by its marriage with corporatocracy - the new church and state. The dog that fetches the wrong stick is made into dogmeat! Survival of the fitting in?
I feel to discern the coercive intent - or lack thereof - as a guide to the underlying intent. Truths can be used to deceive after all, and fictions can be used to reveal the truth. Truth is in the heart and mind as one and is uncoercive upon you.
Science without a heart is like a mechanical heartless mind. It can execute 'logical' programs without any actual connection to anyone or anything - including those who at the top of the pyramid, who are abused and hollowed out by such mentality amidst seductions of power. Is it not so, after the 'rush' wears off?
In my heart, I feel that Consciousness is what is changing - hence EVERYTHING is changing. We each choose to unify our consciousness or to be fitted to a machine. But we cannot BE a machine because choice is our most fundamental nature as consciousness of existence.

New Cosmic Perspectives

It all started with a bang, but the universe may not be expanding after all
Cosmology:
Consider eternity as a timeless now, the idea of time and space are part of a consciousness construct within it. Not the fleeting now between a past and future but an edgeless awareness that seems to be contained or encapsulated within a virtual consciousness. Not a new idea - but an idea in which all things are ever new.
Is this not similar to at the notion of a field of infinite probabilities that is dimensionless (and thus pervades and includes all apparent dimensions) that collapses to an instant of perceived event.
The thing about new perspectives is that they tend to at first be fitted into the frame of the old. Like cinema at first emulated theatre.
Idea is like projectionist film in Universal Mind - and focus can shift within and among Idea so as to set intent.
Within our consciousness as currently experienced is a linear process of evolving ideas that tends to be selected to maintain a continuity of 'self'.
Because of the current denial and displacement of Mind/Consciousness the term is associated with the weakest frailest fragment of self-awareness. Almost as if it were designed to hide from its True Nature in a body as a temporary life in a world of dead stuff that is somehow exactly aligned to support it yet otherwise overwhelmingly hostile and inevitably fatal.
If we brought the scientific analysis to bear on the so called separate self - as we did with the notion of a separate external controlling God, perhaps the utter selflessness of the Living Universe might open the door to the self as a focal node of Universal Consciousness - a bit like an eddy in a river; a vortex of experience within a greater relation of vortices.
But as it stands the lack of vision or direction arising from scientism as practiced so far has hung back in victorian mechanical mindsets - although anything serving the weaponization of all things for the purpose of control is racing on ahead of any checks and balances.
Without new perspective to take up our bed and walk out from a dead stuff/mindless energy universe we well self destruct... or perhaps wish we had. Never dismiss imagination of integrity and serendipity to a willingness to notice for these are ways that information comes in that is otherwise filtered out which prepares a seedbed for uncovering the next step.
Theories that turn out to have profit or power applications are one aspect - but where is the truth that inspires, unifies, encourages, and heals?
Science is not a guide for living. Nor need it undermine the guidance for living that does fulfil the list above. It needs the dimension of participance and transformation and not the dissection of the dead by the dead!
Singularity:
Consider God as Singularity - a dimensionless Always. A nothing of which everything Is and by which everything is. Not an absence of thing but an I that cannot ever be object to Itself as so never a thing - yet all things are it as it 'be's all that is.
The indivisibility or individuality of God is the image of all individuality - not in form but in essential qualities - and all things are not things excepting to a consciousness that has thinged itself (embraced a process of limitation in dimensionality). They are all wholenesses of purpose in larger relations such that an integrity or integrated balance of all idea in expression remains and reflects and expresses a Singularity or Unified Purpose.
As in all Creation there is an economy of means serving an infinite expression with each expressing unique and complementary qualities to an ever unfolding wholeness.
The unified perspective is what we have lost or forgotten or indeed disregarded in our particular process of unfoldment - but it hasn't gone anywhere, we have. Or rather our focus of attention and identity has. The distortion of the channel of communication has given rise to the notion of free will as a self creating right - which is the idea of individuality preying on Source and on relations rather than extending and sharing identity through relations. This is the reflection also that insinuates our interpretations of everything. Only be choosing to release the distortion does the natural or original pattern restore true and unified consciousness.
Let free will be the freedom to be and to share all that you are rather than to become and prove a something in your own right. Listen at the level of intuition for I am not saying give all your things away - but allow the natural extension of the qualities and gifts that are yours to share and grow by sharing. Misery is miserly. Getting is a predatory intent that loses the value of relation for an evaporation. Everything is part of a giving and receiving that truly is One Thing going on, experienced in infinite variety. Always Now Always new. Open your mind from fear's dictate. Learn to trust and grow your deepest truth sense and don't give it to anything outside you but honour that which serves its awakening with gratitude. With honesty, honour and gratitude, the mind will not go crazy even if it has to go through fundamental reality shifts.
It all started with a bang, but the universe may not be expanding after all
Cosmology:
Consider eternity as a timeless now, the idea of time and space are part of a consciousness construct within it. Not the fleeting now between a past and future but an edgeless awareness that seems to be contained or encapsulated within a virtual consciousness. Not a new idea - but an idea in which all things are ever new.
Is this not similar to at the notion of a field of infinite probabilities that is dimensionless (and thus pervades and includes all apparent dimensions) that collapses to an instant of perceived event.
The thing about new perspectives is that they tend to at first be fitted into the frame of the old. Like cinema at first emulated theatre.
Idea is like projectionist film in Universal Mind - and focus can shift within and among Idea so as to set intent.
Within our consciousness as currently experienced is a linear process of evolving ideas that tends to be selected to maintain a continuity of 'self'.
Because of the current denial and displacement of Mind/Consciousness the term is associated with the weakest frailest fragment of self-awareness. Almost as if it were designed to hide from its True Nature in a body as a temporary life in a world of dead stuff that is somehow exactly aligned to support it yet otherwise overwhelmingly hostile and inevitably fatal.
If we brought the scientific analysis to bear on the so called separate self - as we did with the notion of a separate external controlling God, perhaps the utter selflessness of the Living Universe might open the door to the self as a focal node of Universal Consciousness - a bit like an eddy in a river; a vortex of experience within a greater relation of vortices.
But as it stands the lack of vision or direction arising from scientism as practiced so far has hung back in victorian mechanical mindsets - although anything serving the weaponization of all things for the purpose of control is racing on ahead of any checks and balances.
Without new perspective to take up our bed and walk out from a dead stuff/mindless energy universe we well self destruct... or perhaps wish we had. Never dismiss imagination of integrity and serendipity to a willingness to notice for these are ways that information comes in that is otherwise filtered out which prepares a seedbed for uncovering the next step.
Theories that turn out to have profit or power applications are one aspect - but where is the truth that inspires, unifies, encourages, and heals?
Science is not a guide for living. Nor need it undermine the guidance for living that does fulfil the list above. It needs the dimension of participance and transformation and not the dissection of the dead by the dead!
Singularity:
Consider God as Singularity - a dimensionless Always. A nothing of which everything Is and by which everything is. Not an absence of thing but an I that cannot ever be object to Itself as so never a thing - yet all things are it as it 'be's all that is.
The indivisibility or individuality of God is the image of all individuality - not in form but in essential qualities - and all things are not things excepting to a consciousness that has thinged itself (embraced a process of limitation in dimensionality). They are all wholenesses of purpose in larger relations such that an integrity or integrated balance of all idea in expression remains and reflects and expresses a Singularity or Unified Purpose.

Reflections on an expanding consciousness
NASA discovers a new radiation belt around the Earth
Because science looks 'outside' in a way that cuts off what then seems inside, it tries to reverse-engineer Life, The Universe and Everything, from the fragments of a Humpty Dumpty that wont go back together again.
Yet of course we are seeing a reflection of an extended range of perception and have all sorts of stirrings as a result.
I find it heartwarming to consider that what we take as our understanding - (which tends to a mechanical universe mechanically justifying mechanical processes - with a nod to the evolutionary marvel of human intelligence which is going to get to the bottom of it all - isn't it!) - what we take to be true - is only a partial perspective - and that new information comes up that has the potential to shift everything from what was thought to be a foundation.
Now I don't know when or how - or if - it will be scientifically uncovered - but there is something in the nature of awareness that interfaces with a movement that can never be defined or measured. It cant even be called a 'something' because awareness itself is its nature and expression - not merely as local Universe but of Individuality infinitely expressed. The Word gives Definition - that is - awareness knows itself through the object of its thought. However, when a mind elects to know itself AS its own thought rather than as the Process of recognition itself, behold! I make all things in my own image!
To cut a long story short, the collapse from the awareness of being - becomes a 'Big Bang' experience in self-limitation such that everything outside an immediate sense of identified control is withdrawn from and differentiated as other or 'not self' and the tiny mind amidst unconsciousness - which is 'born' of an unconsciousness of its true source-nature - becomes the 'discoverer' and 'explorer' of a reality of chaotic and frightening aspect. This is at times very thrilling, high stimulus, challenging and sensual - quite addictive in fact. But only as a grasping at a substitute for the sense of being that has been lost.
But is a way of using action and reaction to get a virtual sense of self from that blots out the subtler and unifying awareness of integrally being.
The virtual self experience is defended against what would undermine it and is generally focused on the gross aspects of a polarized experience - and yet this is a kind of unconsciousness and the subtler aspects invoke and connect with a wholeness of being that cannot be accounted for within the vocabulary of the gross tangibles - and so stories to convey the feeling came into being as carriers of a deeper knowing - that are not meant to be more than the envelope for the message.
The mind that equates itself with a meat brain is one that has not looked within - not within its own thinking - but within this moment of awareness to the source nature and condition that is modified as our perception experience - yet has not actually become anything else. The dream in which we are separated consciousnesses is by desire made unconscious. But as science is un-covering, we are not what we think we are - much less who. Right in the place where we thought we knew, a shift occurs that renders our foundations faulty. Not because something real moved - but because something unreal was uncovered to awareness.
The pervading fields that are at the edge of our visibility have particulate effects.
But rather than try to get ever more subtle leverages upon the material, energetic and biological world, why not open to the oneness of the particle and the wave. You are an expression of Being - both the Is that pervades all and the exact moment of being just this event. They are not two - and nor can what has been divided be put back together - because its indivisibility is already true. Man wants to recreate life and make and order it to his own control - but isn't that a really Big Clue! What kind of science comes out from a sense of awakened wonder? Good science - and I don't just mean good data - I mean work that truly serves an awakening humanity and not the prostitution of the mind for the indulgence of superficial and self destructive appetites. Go for it - it's alive! It Feels deeply inspiring. Yes good science also needs trustworthy data. But trust isn't just a method applied - its a discernment in a relational field. You cant cut out the living part and expect it to be real unless your goal is to be really dead!
This writing extends and magnifies a relational field - it is tangible and yet only knowable by its effects. The defended mind keeps out that for which it cannot yet integrate - but it is being transformed from within by its own alignments with Life - such as to be resonant with qualities that before were not consciously available. Hence, inspiration, insight, recognition, discernment, convergence or coincidence of that which brings forth the next step, Self realisation (selfless and timeless awareness), Integrated Consciousness - that allows all aspects of a situation within itself and remains able to wash dishes, solve equations or whatever is called forth as one natural relational expression.
