The shift of power

Energy price hikes 'inexplicable'. The Archbishop of Canterbury has slammed the recent energy price rises saying that they look "inexplicable."

Companies are not reckoned by law to have moral obligation and exist not as personal entities but as systems of making profit. The idea of market forces achieving balance falls apart in any monopolistic dependency and is only a small facet of a complex system that has largely developed from manipulative thinking rather than of serving the whole.

Blame and shame is part of the mentality of manipulative thinking - and if a large enough emotional reaction were generated, companies might indeed be influenced and also new legislation made law - but trying to balance off separate and conflicting interests is no way to 'balance' because it is being applied to, or imposed upon the system by force.

For every action there is an opposing reaction. But the action within the wholeness is called a 'shift' because it is an awakening from an expression of false premise and undesirable outcome, to a unified expression of willingness and intelligence.

How we organize our society is not dictated by those who fear to lose their apparent wealth and power over others, it is dictated by how we think!

Now thinking is made out to be an ineffectual wishful thing - not unlike imagination. With no power to effect change - unless one is ingeniously capable of devising complex financial instruments for the financiers of such manipulative intent, or any other specific intent to manipulate via the interference in discovered mechanisms of causation.

But 'as a man thinketh in his heart - so does he perceive' is no less true now that ever - for the unified power of thought and true feeling is the basis of all experience of existence.
"How will that keep you warm?". Well for a start it will shift you from a self protective dumb-terminal, easily managed and manipulated, to a greater awareness of what and who you really are - with everyone and everything, rather than apart from it.

We can often come to recognize and appreciate what resonates true, by first opening an experience of what is not. Think 'true' here not in lofty definitions but in terms of truly worthy of wholehearted commitment, appreciation and gratitude.

The 'church' has lost its voice if it speaks from within the cage that modern thinking has 'put it in'. Perhaps I could have said 'within the prodigal trough!' - not in blame - but in recognition that there is always a payoff for our choices - regardless of how hidden or disguised they are as our apparently but not very conscious agreements.

Fearful insecurity and rapacious racketeering go hand in hand. The answer is not war on evil (sigh) but a profound commitment to an honest self accounting. Call out the behaviour by all means - but in a way that elicits an opportunity to shift.

Will machines ever be able to think?

This BBC article promoted a brief consideration of Consciousness and 'machinery'.


If you can accept that Consciousness in its raw or native sense is all pervading energy that informs and communicates or harmonizes itself in all that it expresses as manifest and self-aware reality - then what we call consciousness is already in a sense an instrument or machine in which a 'portion' of a greater 'mind' explores its creative expression. To mimic the programs of our lower mind will not really make 'alive' but if we give our consciousness to them - they will be an outsource of our own. To let the Living be self-aware through 'machinery' requires all of the elements of consciousness to be received and communicated. That is both Feeling and Thought. The Feeling or intuitional knowing is not emotions, which are merely thoughts that limit or distort the Feeling dimension. Our current 'split off mentality' from Feeling tends to seek to replace Life with a model of mimicry (and gimmickry!) and of manual usurpations and interventions. Because the Feeling Consciousness is 'upstream or beyond the focus of a conceptual focus, it cannot be witnessed or demonstrated within the terms of a physically focussed consciousness - excepting to note the difference in the quality and reflection of one's own consciousness experience and relations.

The question 'Why?' is meaningless at the level of the meaning of existence - but is absolutely pertinent to the level of consciousness expression because to go forth and multiply what one does not love, enjoy, or appreciate truly... is to create a world of deprivation, isolation and conflict - as can be readily observed.
So the primary basis of foundation of choice or decision is not the responsibility of programmed thinking!

Happiness

Happiness at its root is a core function of being - of our being.
Happiness always expands and gives permission for being - but tends to then be associated with the forms of the situation or event.
Egocentricity, is the sense of identifying with the persona and its mental chatter - which runs like a virtual layer of interpretive imaginations on top of what actually is simply present. It is conditionally happy - that is it defines itself such as to define happiness in specific conditions and by defining it negatively as unhappy conditions. This conditioning of nurture and nature - is founded on a sense of there being something fundamentally lacking, invalid or wrong with our self. This is a psychic divorce from our true nature upon which we construct a mask or persona - and attempt to make it valid, solid, respectable, powerful or loved. No supply of which actually satisfies more than momentarily - such that unhappiness is defined as the 'standard' where each seeks there consolations or distractions of choice from a dissonance of being that does not go away but must be kept at bay.
This is of course a crude and general sketch - but those who have opened within also recognize the territory, even if they have become more aware of the basis out from which they live.
Happiness paradoxically comes from giving it away or releasing the desire to get it. Abiding with and through boredom, doubt and discomfort is the releasing of the surface mentality that is not generally directly connected to anything real - being a mentality of conditioned reaction that believes itself free.
Freedom - to be what you are is happy - or rather the full acceptance of what is actually present always connects to a quality of being that is free of unhappiness. It also re-establishes a perspective for choosing or discerning that aligns with your joy.
Yet to wake from the dream of a life that is trying to become something in its own right - one has to become aware of the definitions that actively create our experience of any given situation - including the opportunities that are present within it.
Decide to be happy and then everything that arises can be used to serve your decision. Disappointment is the result of appointed expectations being unmet - and so one uses it to own the thoughts and feelings.
Most do not want responsibility of mind and so choose to protect unconsciousness by giving power to external agencies to supply them with substitutes or justifications.
Guilt or blame - self invalidation - is the undermining of well being. It is easy to see in act - and releasing it a Gift of Life to oneself and others. The attempt to coerce and control via guilt is never going to result in happiness, because self-betrayal is a poison that can only be healed by 'going straight', and honouring yourself and others with honesty of being. There is apparently no market to exploit in such wisdom apart from writing books perhaps - and so it has no relevance to a 'marketized and weaponized society'.
For fear can be spread in ways that 'create' dis-ease which then can be sold 'protection'. There is a global trillion dollar market for this and it has our definition of profit and value - running cancerous with a parasitic intent that has corrupted our body politic. Happiness is the antidote. True and free and joyful happiness as our ordinary now.

Why do I say a lack of wisdom?
Science is bereft of wisdom - in fact it does not really recognize it exists nor indeed any of the heart's qualities.
It put everything that it could not measure to one side and ignored it while getting to know an awful lot about an awful little.

Of course individuals exhibits varying characteristics - including those of an integrated consciousness - or lack thereof. So blame is not my game - but simply to point out that a greatly increased capacity to mess with fundamentally powerful aspects of our Biosphere - with a greatly decreased capacity to deal with the wholeness of any given situation. Good intentions pave the way to hell! Wisdom can discern where the motivations that are within the ideas are coming from. Private self interest uses 'public works' like a trojan horse! But while everyone is essentially playing the same game - they think its the only game in town! Responsibility is a capacity to respond - but without first discerning WHAT the current situation IS - reaction plays out a programmed plot of blind self-interest. Perhaps you have faith that balancing of powers of a 'free market' will result in the best world for all concerned??? It is not free, the winners make the rules for a corporate hegemony. 'People', good or bad, become the stuff to use for whatever purpose suits the current imaginations of those in 'power'.

I do often wonder about what we can't measure, whether there is 'something' that is simply too nebulous and subtle to grasp with our big sicencey man-hands (albeit that have measured the voltage of a single electron), or whether such things are mere side-products of our consciousness (presuming that the latter quality is what brains have developed and not some kind of non-local cosmic entity in which we partake).

I suppose I can be a little chauvinistic and say there is science and the rest is just the human imagination and 'spiritual' mumbo-jumbo, but it behoves us all to keep a more open mind than that, however. We don't know everything, and it may be that I've just watched one Twilight Zone story too many, but there may be things in that 'evertything' that will surprise us.

Yes, a tool. Wisdom would be the intelligence as to whether or when and in what way to use it. Wisdom is not something that science can act or be brought to bear upon because it is a higher or more fundamentally inclusive intelligence.

The tool of science - operating at its most basic level, divides in order to rule. yet Actuality is an Indivisibility or true Individuality that the imagination can 'divide' out from so as to make rules. That is to say Consciousness is a self-programming expression of a more fundamental intent.

Now you may not follow me - or want to! - but in my way, I am in a similar business to the bio-geneticist - excepting I am observing within consciousness - not merely manipulating a structure of accumulated conceptual data - but the movement of consciousness itself. Whereas science - so far - imagines that it separates from what it observes (and exempts its personal consciousness from its findings), I feel consciousness is naturally revealed to a more fundamental awareness - IF it yields into a truly integrated purpose. This last sentence can include scientific purpose - if that is where the passion of your motivational interest inspires you. Rather than try to fix a 'broken world - that reflects a 'broken' self-sense, rewaken back into what actually and wholly works - is working now and always works. But we (humanly) tend to be addicted to our egocentricity - regardless that it 'breaks' our innate capacities and qualities of connectedness and communication. Where folly leads to a fall, humility, reconnects at ground zero. But perhaps not to repeat the same program in yet another disguise this time?

No. You probably confuse business with science. Science is a method - the most successful and 'true' philosophy in history. Amongst other things it provides things that immoral and amoral people exploit. They have always exploited people - slavery, murder and cannabalism go as far back as the archeological record does - and they continue to do so. They do this DESPITE science, for behavioural psychology, amongst other disciplines, shows better ways to behave. It is the politics of the stupid against which you rail, not science.

And do you really think religion is wise? 

A3: What is the business of science? It exists within Human Consciousness and is a specific focus. The philosophy of science is conjecture or imagination - that is... thinking.

Moral integrity of a system is different from moral codes of attempt to manipulate or control a mind externally.
Science is one aspect of a movement of consciousness toward uncovering truth. Like everything in a polarised world-consciousness it has both wheat and tares - that is the search for truth and the manipulation of what it takes as it 'divine or given' inheritance to exploit along the lines of its own private agenda.
I would see science draw back from arrogance and re-Member itself to a wholeness of being. To annul the imaginary divorce with the heart and express a unified intelligence.
I do not seek to undermine the gains of either religion or science. While a polarised session fails to communicate, the 'government is shut down' (to use a current metaphor). Any kind of war between aspects of One Thing is to use your term 'stupid'. I don'tfeel to use such terms for living beings - but only to the thought processes that repeat errors without gaining insight to correct them.

Wisdom and science cannot conflict because they are different orders of reality. But one can exercise science wisely or foolishly. One can also be blindly subscribed to prevailing ignorances that distort the foundations of a true understanding.

Science is 'married to' or very heavily distorted by the Corporately owned 'state'. Which is much more sophisticated than anything the Dark Ages could have imagined - for it runs hidden within the idea you are free-thinking- yet extends such thinking with a technological reach that will be able to determine what you are thinking and adjust it - whether you are aware of it or not or like it or not! Fitting you to a 'machine'. Perhaps you already believe you are one! Belief is not the mask of extra differentiation-validation - but the very 'fig-leaf' mentality by which we experience all things in its template.

I am afraid that this is drivel. Science is a particular approach to reality. It is a method of inquiry that provides true answers, rather than childish ones. It, by definition, studies only questions which may be answered, and that means that they must be falsifiable and amenable to repetition. It does npot address the kinds of questions that occupy some people, such as what it all means, or whether their dog bowl has a spirit, because these questions cannot be answered. It is arguable that these are non-questions, more properly considered from the viewpoint of mental health. They also have a legal (but not moral) right to carp in complete ignorance and frequently drasticly ruin their own well-being and that of others as a consequence (and then blame someone else of course). But this has the consequence that we live in a stupid, chaotic and ignorant society.

Science can be talked about in all sorts of ways and perhaps practising scientists who engage a spirit of curiosity with a passion for discovery and a methodology of exactitude - who are not compromised by peer pressures, funding incentives or personal ambitions to become a something in their own right - will be the first to say that science is greatly misrepresented. If they tried to speak out they may find they have no platform from which to speak.
I propose that the society we live in is not what it seems - but is the result of clearly identifiable thinking. As long as one 'wars' within the thinking, one cannot observe the 'battlefield'.
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. But this is true of an action of one aspect upon another. It is not true when the whole system shifts as one.
For every level of 'reality' there is the level which is aware OF it.
Putting reality OUTSIDE the process of its focussing, the templates of definition and meanings, and the actions of its discovering, is the IDEA that every thing is a thing in and of it self - and that the consciousness that has awareness (by whatever means) of a thing is itself a thing in and of its self, and that this 'self' is independent of its Source Nature, free from its defining relations and able to act out ITS OWN 'reality' via the extension of its own variants of meanings that are archetypal to its founding IDEA.
Now one can see a replication of this in 'discovering the Americas' (sic) - as if native intelligence has no validity. As if European IDEA is the one true Right to dominion.
Science 'discovers' according to scientific validations. It has its own 'ego' as a movement of institution and reputation. It therefore has its own filters and distortions - as well as some reactive tendency to engage in debunking what it feels superior to and self-authorized to
declare to be false - and in terms that reveal the personal agenda behind the act.

We could say that I like strawberries and yet know nothing of the language of the mountains from which the plant originated. That is true, but a falose comparison - just as comparingf electron microscopes with the state of our knoweldge of living things is a false comparison.
Whenever you meet an aphorism of that sort, you can be sure of two things - the originator does not understand what they are talking about and they have an axe to grind.
As for you, you carefully described your lack of scientific background so as to avoid giving undue weight to the aphorism. That is either a reasonable and good thing to do, or a cynical use of a fallacy together with a trick to avoid censure. I suspect (and hope) the first and would strongly encourage you to explore science - it is interesting, beautiful, and not at all 'hard', merely badly taught.

I didn't say it was verified - I said I hadnt verified it but had read it. I gave the link to the article where I read it. The context of that article leads me to be open to the idea that the means of 'observation' can influence or affect the 'state of the 'observed'.
So I do not feel to dig myself from a situation that you are 'seeing' me in for I feel your mind is 'putting' me there - and it simply is not true.
The essential foundation of taking things apart to understand them can ONLY discover crude mechanism. As instruments extend the senses, subtler aspects of crude mechanism are uncovered - that are in such multiple processes of communication and function as to be quite beyond a linear cause and effect model.
I don't have an axe to grind so much as a desire for a larger cultural conversation. When comment becomes personalized as to invalidate others for having a view - then a 'defence mechanism' has been activated. Once a polarized mutuality of self righteousness is enacted - an apparent barrier is erected and maintained as if it were actually there!

Thankyou. I accept your well wishing - for there is something to join in. But to close off with personal comments of a patronizing and derisory nature does you no service. Descriptions of reality 'work' or don't work for the purpose intended. Reality ITSELF is not something we can directly perceive because it is also being all that is present as the experience and abilities of our present local experience. One cannot turn around and see what awareness is to see what awareness is of. One can only become aware of its effects or manifestations. The positing of awareness as some freak that matter picks up along its 'evolutionary' path to becoming a scientist amidst a Vastness in which its insignificance is somewhat mitigated by an ongoing experience of becoming something valid (in its own right).

I expected to read that a great deal of corporate self-interest is poised in the investments of serving the protection racket to a scarcity market we have no say over by which 'British business' will prosper and all sorts of controls and changes would be imposed with the blank cheque of such justified extremity!
But I was wrong. There wasn't much of any article at all.


There is nothing so distorting of the mind as guilt and fear.
When minds invest so much in agreeing what reality is their very model of operation is brought into question when reality does not join the consensus.

I feel this issue will serve the breakdown of the scientific arrogance that puts the non-empiric to one side in disregard, and makes 'reality models' from its tiny focus upon those aspects of existence that can be currently measured in our tiny compass.

The search for truth has long been abandoned by orthodoxy as well as the search for healing and the search for wisdom. Such science marginalizes its relevance to life and becomes a hapless tool of the desire to manipulate and incept itself into every natural relationship so as to bring into manual control.

This is as much becoming the prevalent mindset in which social and economic decisions are made - because who can speak against it without being ridiculed, vilified or effectively denied validity?

Yet this is exactly the conditions in which love of truth uncovers and seeds new life - because this is exactly what is called for.

Underneath the desire to coercively control is the fear that its interference seeds, feeds and breeds.It knows no other agenda. It does not know or cannot bear to know it is a self reinforcing loop of negativity. So it seeks to dump its denial in ways that reflect back a relative innocence or a grain of righteousness amidst a world that its consciousness displaces onto.

Man is ever trying to 'solve' his consciousness in external terms.

We can see beliefs that do not agree in a polarized dance together. Some like to tango - it takes two you know. But what are the pay-offs or incentives that lead us each to WANT something to be true. In polarized reaction it is easy to seek and find whatever supports ones case in the errors of the other but less willing to observe one's own agendas.

The idea of global warming is a symbol of environmental guilt that is potent for many and has indeed become a pseudo religion. It can be a focus for such people of a leverage against what is seen as a sick or insane corporate-consumer death-trance. But the mentality underneath such a highly developed and highly intelligent corporate-consumer matrix, has already positioned itself to exploit this movement to its deeper entrenchment as the dominant global mentality. For the exploitation of life by the sacrifice of love's wholeness is highly adept at subverting and absorbing any new movement to its own agenda

Global warming/climate change serves now as an effective distraction device at the cusp of the most fundamental changes in consciousness, and therefore society and cultural foundation. Hardly anyone notices...
Primate Change is an attempt to manipulate humanity - and our world, that we all have some part in until we unsubscribe.
Whenever fear, guilt and blame are incited be sure that a deception is in play. If you want to use such unholy trinity to coerce your own life - then you will suffer its reflection in the world in terms you wont escape. One cannot make another's choice, but one can be willing to communicate where communication is possible. And releasing judgement allows communication of presence - for mere words are largely only for one's respective 'choir' now.

Make your own choices in the honesty and integrity of truly listening and feeling your way - and unsubscribe from the voices of guilt and fear in promises of protection from their own seeded agenda. If you want. Change is the only constant - but what you give out, you get back. There is one life in all and we are all in one life. You can test this by actually pausing from distraction long enough to truly feel and immerse yourself in existence - which is always here and always now and in which you can rest, refesh and regenerate. Don't forget to love yourself enough to feel your life and remember its connectedness to All That Is. And don't invalidate yourself because you did - and you do and your will forget. Guilt is the religion of darkness whatever packaging it present itself. Just say no!

Well, self interest is a universal - but what we define as our self will make that take every kind of pattern. I regard education as a socialisation and indoctrination process in some part - so I would qualify as invalid in your definition. What we invest in, we identify with and protect. As you choose to define yourself is ever your choosing no matter what anyone else says or does. But remember that our consciousness seeks and finds reinforcements to its choosing automatically and experiences the world accordingly.

The defence mechanisms uncovered by psychology were not invented by their uncovering - but if their revelation is to serve an integrative or healing purpose then the 'scientist' cannot stand outside his own relational collusions - as if to hide or deny his own self interest at work beneath a professional mask. The self-interest in hiding such agenda and playing the mask is pushed to the margins as long as the presentation of the mask are maintained.

Now I am not arguing with self interest nor attacking the fundamental impulse of the scientific enquiry, but a transparency of interest is something humans generally haven't discovered the value of yet. The 'defence mechanisms' all work to subvert our foundations and yet they are not understood experientially and are largely employed in the 'war' of conflicting interests' rather than used to restore sanity.

As an example SCHOPENHAUER'S 38 STRATAGEMS, OR 38 WAYS TO WIN AN ARGUMENT was written as an expose to serve real communication - but is used by many to equip their arsenal with stratagems for 'winning'.

While anything that actually works has obvious value - the treatments that are allowed, supported, funded and reported fairly on are very heavily biased in terms of proprietary profit making 'solutions'. Have a look at 'medical racket' on ahealedplanet.net
In so very many ways, our virtual reality costs us the Earth. I call it our virtual reality because it is not our actual life - but the one we think we are living in which we think we are free. But it always leads to a dead end.
So much of our social and economic conditioning, is farming and managing life for power and profit of the very very few over the very very many.
We are free to re-evaluate our thinking from the most fundamental ground of our being.
So many are conditioned against even the possibility of this and cannot believe that they are more than their thinking allows, and so they don't even look - but follow their thinking - which they think is their truth that gives life and takes it away.
The thinking that we have based our self and society on is a dead end, so it has to shift!

We don't WANT to understand what life is and how it works while we WANT to control it for self-isolating agendas. Natural being is NOT allowed in 'modern' living. What is natural? Do you look to your head to answer? That's what is unnatural. If you do it to yourself, don't be surprised that society does it to itself!

We are free to limit freedom while believing it makes us free, but at some point the beliefs cannot be maintained - even with a dreadful stick or a juicy carrot! (Not many juicy carrots these days, because the dread is of such a pitch that has to be maintained, or the spell will break).

What is conscience? The voice of guilt? Apparently so for many. Choosing within the mind in guilt does not open the eyes to Heaven - to a unitive and shared reality.
The inner guidance that discerns the true resonance of your being is the voice for truth. Of course only honesty can discern it. Sooner or later, we all come to a point of being worn out of all the other options... and then the voice for truth reveals what we truly want.
A Pope does not give anything you do not give him first. And anything he or anyone says will not have effect unless it is something you are opening to or believing in your own heart already.
Believing in the heart is different from conceptual camouflage. Anyone can make a mask and invest it with belief - but our experience is the fruit of what we each believes in our heart - which words cannot really contain but only point toward.
Denying the heart is the mind's attempt to protect itself. Wake up to that it does not speak the truth of You.
A true Spirit of helpfulness cannot work as 'divide and rule' and so is truly unifying. The harmony of true relations is 'Heaven'. But to uncover this in one's own awareness must first be true to oneself.
Sacrificing for 'others' is another way of using them for disguised attempts to feel better within a false framework of identity. It is pointless to 'try' to be what you are not as if what you are is unworthy. If you exist you are worthy of existing or else you wouldn't exist! Love's awareness is the 'birthright' of all.

The identification with ego-centricity, with self-concept is the ultimate killer. Self righteous arrogance and callousness that deal not with living realities - but as a righteous opinionator and manipulator upon their world, upon relations seen 'out there'. In such wise the ideas/beliefs given allegiance program our perceptions and therefore our reactions.

So much of what is dysfunctional in the world is a reflection of a breakdown of communication within each our own mind and therefore our society. The practical opportunity of my message is that you can use it to reflect back to your own legitimate curiosity and challenge the 'programming' of a fearful and manipulative tyranny from in you have become deceived into accepting as your protection.

Aid initiatives can become subverted to corruptions, but the kindness of strangers is also like the touch of God - in terms of a validation of your core being - when YOU are the one whose need is great. But we have forgotten what giving really is in our corrupted 'giving to get'.

Giving is not primarily material, but is an unwithheld presence. Scarcities that are ultimately self-imposed give rise to the fearful conflicts and breakdowns and loss of vision to correct them.

If we use interpretations of the world to justify a lovelessness within, then we are making a choice and our world will reflect that choice to us.

Fear is a self-fulfilling prophecy, but it is a choice. Good intentions pave the way to hell because they are a mask upon a hidden agenda. Know thy self and uncover an integrity in which to align with the life in all.

Attend to that which is really here to be attended to and stop worrying!

You'll make yourself sick in focussing on negatives as if to make a positive for yourself against it. The world your mind makes is not so! Unless you WANT it so and then you can make it real to you by giving it. What you give is what you get back, so what ARE we believing and reinforcing? Don't fall for the scam that says you can get one over your world or your brother. It always ends in tears.



One may program the mind with belief but that same one can change their mind. One can insist that one's genes or one's upbringing 'did it to you' but that is the choice to NOT have a choice.

EVERY one within the focus of a physical consciousness is going to release it in transition that we call death. But the experience of is rich with opportunity for expressing and sharing Life - even within such limitations.

The rigidities of mind are reflected in its world, as a brittle ageing stuckness of unresolvable layers of conflicted fear and guilt. And quite naturally this is sloughed off. Fixing attention on the externals and seeking to resolve there what is actually at cause level and not merely symptom is such a rigidity to be released. It is not death we fear, but renewal. The mind gets stuck in its own trap. Change can be gracefully allowed or one can kick and scream. We all choose, but one can choose not to know this, if it is too fearful. So what is called for in a crisis, is calm, because without at least a moment's calm, reaction simply replicates the program that hides both the problem AND the answer.

There's no success like failure - and failure's no success at all

This clip offers a great metaphor for ungrounded or wishful government interventions.

Supporting what doesn't work and cannot work and then being unable to withdraw without seeming to be the cause of collapse!

Of course it isn't only governments who enact this pattern. Our financial 'rulers' set up similar scams but usually make it seem like someone else is responsible - and buy up cheap assets.

But closer to home, our own mentality indulges vanities or wishful thinking that leads to lifestyles or relationships that cant work and will never work - and likewise seek to keep the appearances together until time runs out.

The politics (actions that express and define our society) of today seems so much focussed on 'keeping appearances together', such as to be a war on our own mind - where what is actually going on cannot be addressed or even acknowledged, and any attempt at communication is subverted into polarized denial device such that persons and 'blame' get to dominate as the maintenance of the delusion of the status quo and the entertainment-distractions of self-righteous opinion.

It is perhaps a matter of how much we have invested in the appearances of something that lacks integrity or true worth.
There is actually a great freedom in not having to keep it all up any more. "I cant do it" is a simple and liberating honesty that - accepted - lets the chips or indeed the biscuits - fall where they may while resuming a Real Life. Everyone has one and is one - but its back in a closet because it doesn't look like an Emperor's outfit.

Maybe one has to do the utmost while a ship is going down until baling out or making rafts is no longer possible. But essentially what we invest in - where we give value - will become foundational to all that comes after.

Hard to credit that this 'bake-off' isn't a set up. The implanted pathetic one for whom the audience cringes at their somewhat sadistically written scripted presentation. But life also imitates art and a nation of telly-tubbies rises to mimic the culture that is quite deliberately fed them - or does a desire for unconsciousness demand to be fed one way or another?

There's no market for anything sane - what does that say about the mind that manipulates what once was a vehicle or focus of exchange of Goods and Services. (Capitalized to draw attention to that life is good and service to life serves all).

One might claim life is not good and that if you don't serve only yourself - no one else will. Such is the power of our investment in ideas. We really don't have to set up a life or world that fails. We simply need to re-visit the definitions and ideas we are already investing in that are not honestly working for our life, our world - without blame - so as to let go of what does not work and can not work - and bring our willingness to what is already working - and cooperate with that!

Humiliation goes with the territory here. If we cant release a self-specialness then we cant embrace the native integrity of our being. A mindset of blame, shame and guilt absolutely forbids any real engagement with problem or solution , and which cannot be effected by 'divide and rule' mentality. But if that is almost all one has ever known, how could I get this message across? I say 'almost' - because no one is totally without some stirring or moment of being seen, accepted, honoured or embraced in a quality that demanded nothing of them and let them be themselves.

Concept Carpets & Blinds

The thing about the concept of life is... that there is no life in it! But You that is Life can give it all the life you Are.

"Concept carpets and blinds" is a shop in Aylsham. It is also an apt phrase for the apparent division and splitting off of consciousness through a lens darkly. Looking for answers inside the mechanism of such reflection is perhaps an effective device for not letting down the D fences in conscious awareness to that there is no thing 'in and of itself' - and there is no one 'in and of themselves'.

The mind has an 'as if' capacity by which it can experience 'as if' it were a thing in an of itself, but cannot make that true. Yet the fragmented Universe of an amnesiac orphaned consciousness appears to be a problem or a riddle to solve.

What is Life and what am I? When no concept or definition is imaged and worshipped (identified with and defended) as if it were ITSELF reality, then is our personal NOT knowing becomes the condition in which ITS Inherent knowing 'comes back online' to our awareness.

Meanwhile a life lived in concept works to deny the Living unless it can exploit or use it to reinforce or validate the concept. But our self and reality image or concept can expand and transform if we are willing to suspend our belief and allegiance to anything that we discern as fundamentally dishonest - IF we are willing to pause long enough from blind assumptions and reactions, to test it in the heart.

That there is a desire to 'account for' or 'explain' organic and material existence without a Creator is to some degree an understandable reaction to historical experience - but it still fundamentally offers a 'Luciferian' script of cutting off consciousness from Creation - albeit the consciousness in the scientific model is so limited and well hidden that it almost seems as if reality could actually be a wholly material fact (with no awareness of it actually existing!) Oh - apart from this 'special intelligence' that just 'happens' to be so specially defining and discovering all things unto its own 'reason'.

Self revelation IS the Nature of reality - but when reality is substituted by concept the law operates to reflect the nature of the concept - hence 'divide and rule' as a paradigm of apparently conflicting polarities has reflected us back to ourselves.

Now a self-concept of modernity adapts to fit a mechanism-universe and just look and see how it is operating in every walk and arena of our living to replace relationships with contractual transactions.

IDEA is creative - in that it focuses and limits awareness of what is Universally Presencing Itself in and along specific lines. But it doesn't actually 'create' in ultimate terms because that Always and already Is.

As a direct expression of that Life we are creative of a unique 'experience' or perspective of reality. But as a concept, we sleep in a 'template' of programmed reaction amidst 'accepted definition-meanings' - while Infinite Life is 'reduced' to such tiny and almost lifeless experiment of mind-control. But it is not affected. We but limit our awareness and appreciation of All That Is.

Perhaps the Idea that Life is Already Everywhere might make the expressions of its qualities less of a riddle - even in amino soup.

The building blocks of life's manifestation are implicit in all that is. Existence is God's 'fingerprint' - but of an implicit Consciousness from which no one or thing has ever actually separated from for even an instant. (Though one can play within that Idea).

The chances of a living organism being created by random collisions are less than one over the number of photons in the universe.

Mathematically, any chance, no matter how astronomically insignificant, may account for the instance of such astronomical insignificance. For its Fact comes as the fruit that proves the seed. But if appreciation of the Fact is reduced to a minimal mechanical rendering - then expect a 'random blind, mechanical dice-God!

Looking in the past and 'out there' for the seed or source of life has absolutely zero chance of success - and that is its appeal. 'Seek and do NOT find' is the job-description of a sense of self-separateneness. Oh I know we find all sorts of things that goad as with a carrot on a stick to feel vindicated... for a while. And the human condition (ing) beats us like a stick to seek some mitigation for the pain of such existence as knows no abiding peace or fulfilment - but in distraction of unconsciousness, substitutes a pale replica that fails under any honest scrutiny. And so honesty cannot be trusted, and 'righteousness' substitutes its judgements and mutual definitions in place of reality discerned- and shared.

Computer software can emulate hardware such that 'alien' software can run within that emulated environment. I suggest our apparently physical body-mind is itself a construct within an order of Creation of which its own little virtual mind in its virtual operating system will never know.

But beneath it is the Only Thing Really going on. The thing is that the emulated or virtual self regards its existence as exclusive, self-existing and endangered and we have come to identify THAT as our protection/connection and therefore our life. Not unlike those who now become addictively identified with an online persona.

"The only thing to fear is fear itself" but this means fear is a deception that blocks, distorts and manipulates vision and divides us from our selves and from each other - and is a caution to be vigilant. Or it would be an absurd statement

There is no 'chance' involved in that you are existence itself; that one existence is in all, as all are in existence. And that what you give out, you get back. No 'chance' involved, because these are already true. Apart from these, everything changes. Even change changes, which 'births' the unchanging in an eternal seamless circle.

Yes, science is a discipline of a 'mind' that is inferred and presumed to exist but not actually verifiable to scientific proofs. Is there ANY mind at all - whether God or self or other - in the Universe it purports to reveal? Is that the same as saying there is ONLY mind? - albeit operating at different vibrational frequencies of its own 'Thought'.

The desire or curiosity to know - and in specific to know what life is, what the world that it seems to occur within is and what its purpose or function is... WAS once within the scientific exploration and energetically is still in some seed-sense a motivator. But Science split off from anything that could not be empirically measured and verified by simply disregarding it, while focussing on the high-yield crop of discovery and society-changing utility of focussing exclusively on what can be currently validated empirically.

And so they know an awful lot about an awful little. e.g: A little 'knowledge' about germs brought reactions that have set up the raft for a whole new web of immuno-related breakdowns.

I'm not anti curiosity or anti freedom to think and feel and discover - but when implicit polarities of a wholeness are denied by a pattern of stuck-ness, it's time for a breakthrough from a fresh perspective. Though one may seek to express perspective in thoughts - it is not just more thinking to weave into the old mode. It is a vehicle of shared realisation.

The key to the discovery and integration with non-physical aspects of reality is in the shift from thinking to discernment. The former is associated with manipulative intent of a self-separateness, the latter with an honesty or congruency of being.

All of us engage in non-physical reality in all kinds of ways as a matter of course - but generally unconsciously or tacitly - while the play of an egocentric identification is acted out that uses the props available to 'strut its stuff!'

'Pure Science' was held to be ego-less, but the true-centred is of a wholeness of being, rather than an exclusive and rejecting, reactive 'self-seeking'.

I think I am a little more on the 'nuts and bolts' side of things, although I did once study philosophy, which was entertaining and recreational by turns, but perhaps ultimately mostly just words.

On the subject of the actual article I found it interesting to have a look at the Wikipedia entry on abiogenesis and use that as a starting point for exploring the current thoughts and theories. I am not religious, nor do I have a spiritual take on the universe - call this a limitation, it just happens to be what I am - so I do look to evidence-based science rather than religious/metaphysical explanations for the origin of biological life etc.

I get this feeling that ever since humans have been around we have tended to assume an external consciousness in the universe, because that's how it feels, because we are conscious and don't - or didn't - reallly have any rational explanation for it. Neuroscience tells us that it's a product of our brains, but not everybody will be happy with that idea.

Still...

What is the point of human imagination if we can't have our fictions, after all?

I suppose words serve either an opening to the noticing of the processes of cognition/perception or are the play of fictions within a virtual mind. I sometimes coin the term justifictions for the mind's employment as the justifying fiction for the identifications of an otherwise naked intent - one which clearly involves some sense of dissonance or conflict - or else there would be no call to make stories to justify and account for the identity asserted.

Religion spirituality whatever - if used as an identification are just variations on the theme of using external associations and social definitions. This is what I mean by identifying in or with concept. Doesn't matter what is used to mask the idol - it aint alive - even if it uses the symbols and forms of our highest concepts of life. However, it matters in that what we identify and energise in belief and by reaction will define and colour our experience such as to either limit or open to the qualities of life - such as are innate rather than manufactured.

Your willingness to extend honour to me regardless of your dissent is tangible. I don't care what people think they think or think they believe - for it is by our fruits that we are known - and these always reveal something of the character of what a man or woman holds in their heart - even if they've never much thought about it.

I also feel for an evidence or fruits based way - but unlike material science - requires the willingness to disengage thinking habits and observe. That is, one is the questioner and one's life is the experiment and the outcomes are transformational rather than add-ons.

The 'birth' into a limited consciousness is a kind of forgetting. It is as if all the inner lights go out and this personal sense thinking becomes a focussing that covers over the pristine feeling-awareness of vibration! colour! sound! I think you get the picture - our consciousness grows the world-concept along with the self-concept.

Concept carpets and blinds - as I keep saying on this page - but it also carves out experience.

Don't underestimate the proclivity of the apparently external environs to provide frameworks of experience. At the physical density, one sees habitats inherently inviting calling or inviting life explorations as well as life fitting its environment.

The reason we cannot hardly begin to communicate with our reality is because we have this arrogant little mind that thinks it can lord it over all else. Though there is a hierarchical series of relations in Creation nothing 'lords it' over anything else.

Out of sync, out of step and out of our (true) minds - but what a ride it's been!

I-magi-nation is perhaps our most fundamental asset - not in a role of escapism - but as the portal to fresh ways of seeing anything and everything. If you cannot imagine it then you cannot yet perceive it. This is why believing IS seeing and what we see is our belief - no matter how mutually reinforced it may be as true it is belief. But do we notice that? Not generally. Too full of a belief in our own 'independent life'. Now there's an oxymoron.

Darwin shows there is but one life, but the anti-God brigade interpret it to suit their agenda.

Dawkins and the like are useful to eat away the rotten flesh of merely magical beliefs of no foundation. For if one cannot communicate and embody the process of realisation, even truths become personal fictions. But who can truly bear the stark powerlessness of conscious existence without ANY thought to make some sense of personal reality, excepting they who yield its reactivity to an abiding at rest that needs take no thought to be.

I feel more for participance than entertainment - but that is a seed within it - so if I have offered anything of any enjoyment then life has occurred on planet Earth as an instant of conscious participance. And why not!

Design is presumed to imply a separate designer and indeed time and space. The first is a fallacy of the separation consciousness and the latter are both part of the design.
Where we most likely would not meet is that I don't predicate Consciousness in organic existence but the reverse.
The idea of a separate perceiver is just as much a fallacy as the separate designer - yet clearly they serve some currency of exchange at some level of consciousness.
Note that design can introduce the idea of random into itself. Computer generated drumbeats are too perfect to feel alive and so more sophisticated versions introduced very tiny and subtle mis-timings. You get the principle? If you were to design a world-experience to live through, you would very quickly tire of the predictable. Call it an evolutionary dead end!
In dance, there may be step sequences - but the WAY you get there is the life of it. This is the uncovering and yielding into a movement that is spontaneous - even if one has trained for years.
When an issue polarizes - ie Creation/Evolution it indicates a breakdown of the receptivity to the polarities of vibrational existence. The way out of impasse is to love thine enemy. That is to use the apparently opposing polarities to deepen one's own perspective.
If you designed a drama in order to access emotional experience - would the passion that was felt be accidental? It is all you - and doesn't leave your mind - and yet a willingness to engage it as if real can access any and every kind of experience.
The mechanical theories support a mentality that makes the world we see. Whatever is held true is foundational to the culture of individuals and their societies.
Truth does not get involved in this personal sense of definition - but when our conceptual reality cracks is when we realize it was in fact a vanity and deception.
To seek to define reality in mechanical terms is absurdly insane - that is; a dislocation of thinking from its relational context.
I'm not saying it might not be exciting for those who want it. Or that it is sinful. Just that it is a trick of the mind that serves the design or purpose called forth in the mind. (One could look up defence mechanisms to see a range of designed illusory realities).
Idea-belief-definitions are the template level of the design of our experience. There are personal aspects to this, family and cultural aspects and planetary and universal aspects to this.
But there is no mind, separate and apart from ANY of it ever - anywhere. Hence the idea of all pervading Consciousness or Spirit as the Prime Radiant expression of Infinite Mind. (Which was then projected onto and associated with traits of our own conditioned consciousness.
Prometheus thought he'd stolen a bit of Light and has had a tummy ache ever since! I jest here - but cannot exaggerate the distorting effect of guilt and fear on consciousness. Hence the design of a defence psychology of isolation in a fearful world.
Now what if all the props (Universe) are actually neutral until we give them meaning? In this sense we create our reality-experience within frameworks of probability, but can as it were reprogram or redefine anything if we have a sense of value in doing so.
A crisis becomes an opportunity - why? Because mind is not fixed - despite any appearances and reflections to the contrary. The desire to limit it is part of the human design; an intentional forgetting.
As we uncover the more of what we are so science and insight will expand our horizons. We are not alone. But that which wants to be isolated, designs its experience so as to protect from being breached. Yet reality is an interpenetrating vibrational fusion of no separate parts. Eggs are meant to crack when the time is right. Our perspective of reality grows with us. But the embyonic perspective is also valid to its level.

NSA: One Ring to rule them all and in the darkness bind them?

The mythos or story beneath the Lord of the Rings postulated a very similar abuse of power and technology - albeit in symbolic terms. One Ring to rule all the others.
On the discovery that the guidance, skill and support of Sauron had been all along but a feigned kindness over an intent to control, open war broke out. Most 'power ring' wielders were absorbed to become simply agencies of control and domination while a few hid them.

While not presuming to swallow a 'fairy story', such stories nevertheless serve as vehicles of transmitting insights or cultural wisdom. For there is nothing new under the sun in it's principle, if not its form of expression.

My own contribution is to call attention not to the worldly expressions (regarding secrecy, privacy and control) in themselves - but to see that they are embodiment of a mindset of deception IN WHICH WE ALL HAVE A SHARE. It is inevitable that a pervasive mentality of control seeks to extend itself via new technology - using the veil of helpfulness, free goodies and promises of a better world for all. But we CAN recognize the agenda beneath the mask because it is our own REFLECTION. And we CAN change our mind - or rather the active purpose of our desire and intent.

In the Tolkien story, it transpires that one of the little folk of no apparent consequence - with no great store of a 'will to power' becomes the active symbol of the relinquishment of that 'will to power'.

While there are 'battles' of competing and conflicting interests in the world, there is also the dimension of our own personal will; that is, our thinking, our masks of secrecy and deception and a hidden intent which both calls these into existence and maintains their justification for employment.

Put simply it is the intent or wish to prevail over another, and over life, at the other's expense. This mindset has received a sort of sanctification in modern thought as 'genetic' programming at the heart (sic) of Life. But a moment's pause reveals that we embody it as a parasite upon our own Life - in terms of person, relations, and planet.

The issues of control and trust are as ever at the very root of human consciousness. To uncover the root to reveal a different foundation is not unlike the 'journey to Mordor'. Not where one would otherwise choose to bring focus to. But one might say that the darkness is coming after us whether we yield, hide or flee - ANYWAY. So to reconsider everything in the light of the thinking (beliefs and definitions) that embody it - as a direct observation in one's own daily living is in some sense to wake up from the compulsive or mesmeric fascinations of the Big Screen of the World.

Whatever the World Is - can not be known about but through the filters of our mutual definitions and beliefs. I am saying that Consciousness - in its truly active nature sets up the experience we are having and yet is inseparable from the World that is in a sense, dreamed real.
The technology of our day is reflecting the releasing of the apparent separations of our personal or human consciousness from its true Nature and Source.

Not everything about this Global Convergence of technologies is evil or dangerous, but the crisis that it opens in our midst is that of having to accept responsibility (not blame) for our thoughts - for our consciousness and for those aspects of what we called or rendered unconscious, to be accepted and integrated.

It is a fairy story indeed to think that one could hide from truly Living Communications within Concepts kept secret from All That Is. Truth will out!
But a mentality of manipulation and control will subvert this in any-which-way it can - so as to persist as your own.

Secrets are ultimately that which we are trying to keep from ourselves. Control at home is served by setting up a 'foreign agenda'. That's why we don't look within and simply see the deception de-cloaked.

But the recent events reflect that in fact this de-cloaking IS occurring in our conscious awareness.
"Just say No" to being part of the 'botnet' of intent to wield fear and division in an attempt to control in our Name.

Up all night on the drug that never sleeps

Law of karma? Not at all. What you give out you get back.
If you get from 'outside' instead of bringing forth from within, then you 'give' your power away to the 'outside' and what makes you high will then also make you low.

I am going to reveal a great secret here. To actually open a desire to do something and accept and embrace it without letting your thinking interfere is to open a channel for Life to express and embody through.

Currently it appears you do not actually or wholly want to write your article and so your mentality creates the resistance and distortions or blocks to its unfolding. Just try embracing a true desire as the movement of Life and see that - in a sort of way - your brain and body is ALREADY a drug factory that aligns to support your intent and desire when simply trusted and clearly held.

Now you do have to actually WANT something - so if actually you have no interest or motivation, then that itself speaks of the action as itself a distraction or block to something you DO want.

The mental presumptions of beliefs and definitions that create the experience of the world that is lived and sort of shared without any real intimacy - express a sense of inadequacy and lack that demands  'external' manipulations of one kind or another to enable a sense of self-validity, and so the market works to provide them - and magnifies the sense of invalidity so as to be able to sell more of its product or service for your enhancement and protection.

What one chooses to think or belief or oneself and reality becomes a part of what one gives out - and cannot NOT be the measure of what one receives. This is really just the immutable nature of MIND. You may imagine and construct a sense of self with a mind that seems different, but this doesn't change what mind is - only what you are using it for.

Using a communication device to distort,  filter or block communication can create a sense of disconnection, division and conflicted self and world - but the mind remains a communication device and available for that function because that Is its functionality.

What I am saying is that the ego-sense of self in persona, tends to become a block to our own true communication. Yet in trusting what we are truly moved to do, we do not lack character or authority at all.

The difference is one of letting or yielding into the movement of our being rather than trying to exert force upon it. In order to get into the zone, be the willingness of curiosity and discovery.

A drug may open your realisation to that there is SO MUCH MORE available to live and share than the trickle that is accepted reality - and yet the truth is that You are this Wholeness already - but in a filtered down and limited conditioning.
