On the insanity of the guman in Norway
I would see Insanity as a dissociated mentality, a delusional mind - in which a sense of self is acted out or presented to itself that both feeds its own delusion - in terms of the wish to become meaningful or powerful - and acts out from its thoughts as if they were real.
I would generally see this mentality as a pervasive liability to us all - of which we are generally unaware - whilst playing out the role that it gives us. We may see some of its activity - but the uncovering of our mind to our awareness is generally highly resisted, defended against, taboo.
One of the ways that deception 'works', is in projecting the hateful - feared in our own mind - onto others. This sets up a survival investment in identifying with an externalised demand for fixing or overcoming the hateful - that now seems really 'out there' in personal as well as experiential terms - and denies opportunity for true healing.
Many in the world use deception as a manipulative device all the time - but in the belief that they themselves are one up in the game - or hope to become so. The desire to become special or 'win' the game of life is a deep set urge or wish regardless of the arena or scale in which it acts out.
If the very fabric of trust upon which any residual sanity remains - continues to be eroded by the increasingly fearful attempts to manipulate others and our own perceptions - as if that were somehow controlling reality - then the seeming pockets of a capacity to manage will become increasing besieged by breakdown and disorder.
To those committed to resolving externally, this is felt as a rising call to arms or to ever more fearful defence - at cost of our innate capacity to establish trust as the basis of communication.
BUT many are feeling a call to look within, to re evaluate the foundations of their thinking and uncover a true basis for sanity or integrity and trust in their own experience and in their relationships. This is a grass roots awakening.
Of course we deal with what arises to be dealt with, but unless there is a measure of a true sanity in place of a self-fulfilling and dissociated wilfulness of self - our actions will feed the fires that burn us, instead of growing in the wisdom to discern the best step as it needs to be taken.
To love to hate, as if that is love, and to hate to love as if love were weakness, heresy, or an outright assault on the very underpinnings of one's 'sanity' is the mark of enslavement to fear - where one's thoughts operate a tyranny so dense that hardly anything of love's reality can find welcome.
In the buildup of electrical charge, the path that is taken by lightning is simply that of the available circuit. As the charge of fear and hate is grown and fed - there are innumerable circuits available in many aspects of our living. It is a mistake to think one can eradicate evil by war - though lawlessness needs to meet a communication of limitation and restraint. And the managed war of modern social manipulations and controls is no less war for being conducted at a subtler level than brute force.
We all share in making our experience of our world - but not blame. Blame is the sickness of guilt and cannot serve true responsibility - which is an awakened love and not a coercive will upon our evil liabilities.
Such events speak to me as a deep and clear call for uncovering and sharing a greater Sanity - a unified and wholehearted witness to life in place of a self conflicted delusion. The desire for this is itself a creative act that replaces the desire for playing out the game of self interest at the expense of our true commonwealth.

The explosion of terror in our midst
Do not let the masks or labels deceive. Religious teachings, like anything else, may also be used by the mind of deception.
Hiding behind ANY presumed or accepted 'Authority' is not a real presence communicating truth. Do not be fooled. Do not take the bait. Listen more deeply. Your brother needs you as you need him.
So may the bomb of terror offer an unmasking of the mind of deception to our awareness? As we do NOT USE IT to justify our private judgements to ourselves.
It is so that we do not all seek to impose our will on Life and others by force of violence so as to self righteously judge and deny that which we falsely determine to be evil or wrong.
But the seed of this mentality is pervasive in human relationships even if it is not usually acted out in such raw acts of misplaced hatred. And the only way that heals our relationships of the deceptive basis which terrorises the heart is to cease to be a host for the mind of deception.
I am not addressing working mind - which attends to practical needs as it is called upon - but to the Heart's knowing that the thinking mind obscures. Because the basis from which we live out from is always the most important determiner of all that comes therefrom.
Deception seeds and breeds deception. True religion serves the undoing of the mask of deception and the awakening of the heart to its true nature. The wish to be a 'someone' in our own right is not of God or innate to our being. But while we choose to play out wishful imagination with forceful determination, we will participate in the murder or denial of the true innocence and sanctity that Life Is - (and yet which remains the uncoverable truth of you to accept as you are willing to see and share it).
The belief in evil as an actual power located outside our own mind is the excommunication of our true power to love; to see the presence of love and to be the presence of love. Terror is the crudest tool in the mind of deception, and is usually veiled in threat. See that it can have no authority in your heart and ask and listen for the way of peace - without prejudging what form that will take for you. Are you so willing?

Speaking truth to power
This response arose after reading a BBC article by Lucy Kellaway:

The seven deadly sins CEOs won't admit. (Apparently they are Control freaks . Vain . Ditherers . Bad at listening . Bullies . Afraid of conflict . No good at small talk). But the line that prompted me was (in bold below).
"Given that most of the 60 interview candidates were probably guilty of at least one of the above, why did none of them own up?
The first possibility is that they didn't dare.
But I suspect the real problem is worse: they don't know what their faults are.
A decade of psychobabble, coaching and 360-degree feedback has made no difference.
It has not changed the most basic truth - people never speak truth to power."
This is generally true because of what and where power is defined and believed to be. We assign it to those persons whom we project our fantasies upon - and who seem to be able to have power of decision over the fates of others - or to exercise more influence upon events than others.
Rather than focus on such personas I feel to turn it round and consider the same mentality in our own mind and to look at why WE do not generally choose to listen to truth, and why we become caught up in a war of deceptive perceptions, in which partial truths are used as fodder for propaganda or truth is altogether hidden from sight - depending on the particular tactical advantage offered. Because we believe deception IS power over a fearful truth - or a truth that renders us powerless and invalid.
Is listening to truth possible, from within a love of the will to power?
Such a listening is clearly dis-allowed while the wish to assert one's will is active.
Why seek further for an understanding of why human beings deny, distort and deceive the truth of them selves and each other?
The self-identity that arises from the will to power is a trap. But it is traded in the same way as drugs. IE - in the implicit presumption that it offers enhancement of and relief from reality. But it reinforces the very conditions that it is supposed to overcome.
It might seem that leaders are particularly prone to such traits, (as the article lists), but you will find everyone quite able to assert their will in their own particular ways.
One subset of the way we assert our will is to avoid personal risk by getting or letting others to do what we not want to deal with.
Until there is a willingness to bring the issue of the personal will and its ego to light, we will continue to participate in a way of life that actively undermines and denies truth.
But truth isn't a contest of interpretations, definitions or mapped out models. Truth is one with trust. Honesty is predicated on - and extends - trust. Once we are willing to deceive ourselves, we dislocate our own mind from its true nature - but then experience the world in terms of threat, competition, scarcity and guilt - or a sense of self unworthyness that we may then seek to overcome.
Those who 'know not what they do', act out within their self made illusion, in forgetfulness of the willing that they are doing that dislocated their mind from its Truth.
Soul is not threatened - but to lose sight of the nature of our love is a terrible and desperate experience. It is also the core experience of the human doing.
Jesus - whether the story is considered history or not - is an example or model of human being. Because to be is a receptive listening, beholding and discerning - from which comes a different will than that of reacting to fearful or loveless judgements - whether those judgements are so called received wisdom of experience or panic or greed of the moment.
To undertake any responsibility in the world is going to involve difficult decisions - or choices where none of the options off an ideal answer. But in the willingness to allow true communication, the best or optimal step will arise as the expression of win-win - even if it can be seen as win-lose or lose-lose from a thinking perspective outside the process of communication.
Presence can be bluffed - but such a presentation has no true presence. A true man or woman has a clear presence. But unless you are in your own truth, you will not be discerning the difference.
The manipulation of truth is of course nothing to do with truth - but with perception.
It might seem that we live in amazing times, where mind control is writ large in corporate terms and appropriation and asset stripping move into the so called personal realm of our minds.
On what basis is anyone or anything to be believed or trusted anymore - and are my own thoughts reliable as the true expression of my heart's knowing?
Give unto Caesar the things that belong to Caesar - in that we do the things that are required while we are the world. But give unto God that which is God's - for the truth is not made by man nor is our own awareness and capacity to know truly.
Maybe God is too misused a word in a world that made its own competing versions. But to truly listen is to put the will to power behind you - and simply know what is truly given you to share. Awareness is true - but is hostage to stories that distract attention from a freedom of being that cannot be truly lost - but can be used to deny its own nature, while trying to become a 'someone' - all by ourselves.
The sense of powerlessness that is part and parcel of the human conditioning is illegitimate, but true power is shared and not wielded. Some are drawn to overcome their sense of self limitation in ways that are writ large upon the world, for better or for worse in worldly terms. Others feel that a strategic powerlessness of diluted power is safer, whilst secretly coveting the capacity to wield it.
Truth speaks to truth. The will to power speaks to a like will. While we try to serve both, each undermines the other. Listening to this will serve reawakening to your heart. Honesty is known in the presence of the heart.

Slice of Pi? Tau but no thanks!
I like reading this article. I am of the conviction that there is much in our foundations that sets us on awkward courses - no matter how intelligent or devoted we may be in all further application of those fundamentals.
I am not a mathematician, but can see the gist of this.
I feel that the most revolutionary discoveries to come will be in our awakening to the errors of thinking, perceiving and experiencing - which also carry conflicted payloads and distorting filters.
But rendering Pi as a mystery integer to simply abandon instead of calculate, could symbolize the release of an impossible and unnecessary activity and the opening of a fresh basis from which to live.
"How could we ever have operated under such a pervasively impractical and self defeating idea?"
The real change is not in reality - which remains as it ever is - but that our mappings and definitions limit or program our own capacity to see.

Global Warning and waking up
I wrote this from a realisation that, of course I am a crank relative to scientific thinking - for denying false premises consciously surrenders the mind and opens the heart to Listen.

Scientific vision is a Dalek's eye view of the world, no matter how many Daleks corroborate results. I don't accept it's basis as applicable to anything other than mechanism - which it secretly seeks to manipulate in the same old wish to have power to 'create' its own life and world that Adam and Eve got lost in.
I see mechanism as the servant of desire. In other words, I see the experience of the world as serving the active seed desire that brings forth its experience. Such a notion is utterly preposterous to a mind that believes the world is real and out there - apart from and unrelated in kind to the awareness in which it is experienced.
Where does your awareness arise? Do you rest in it as the very Source and Nature of Life or do you live imaginatively via the experience of your own 'mind'?
A mind that believes it already knows is in negative or self validating loop until it questions the very basis by which it thinks. And its creative function is hidden while it 'lives' within its own programming. I guess I have to seem like someone who thinks he knows (smile). But I am simply seeking to articulate meanings that are available to discern regardless of the forms they are clothed in. I feel desire to share what we truly are in common and calm the fearful storms that we feed unknowingly.
That makes me a crank whose willingness opens relational space where others assert mechanism. I participate inherently with you in Living unified being where others see only a world of things to exploit for private and selfish ends, as a programmed sense of self that is rarely truly observed, enquired of or transcended in true responsibility - in a true love of Life.
This would be the domain of religion, but doesn't the same program tend to run there too? - and be sanctified by fearfully interpreted guidances? - so as to cultivate a special sense of oneself, one's group, one's rightness or superiority.
Truth is the first casualty of war in that a mind can war itself unknowing only when it elects to give preferences to its own definitions over the actuality of this intimate and innocent experience.
Global Warning is both a crisis of opportunity and of danger. Alarm can induce panic reaction or can call awake. Watching the mind (within or 'without') and praying (resting in the natural communioned trust of the heart). Is of the innate integrity of our being and is not belief based or mixed up in magical associations of a personal salve. It is the willingness to truly Listen - instead of thinking, opinionating, self validating or reacting to what is arising in awareness.
This is where Inspiration and guidance will be felt. And the Movement by which it is felt will clearly be of a wholeness of being that encourages, inspires and grows a presence of practical application to the whole of what is going on and not a Dalek's eye view. The old mind will scream - but this step is breaking bounds with an ancient taboo - so no surprise there!
It is never to late to begin anew. Cast your nets here and see what you will find.

The transcendence of self-will opens an Awakening to Life beyond life and death and is the essential Teaching and Demonstration of the story of Jesus - and restores true Purpose as the basis of our mind and our life.
When man puts his faith in his own thinking, he becomes self-concerned, deceived by his own fear and insanely disconnected from the source and nature of the love that unifies all things in Peace - and usurps all the functions that truly and rightly are of God and not of self-will. God has nothing to do with organisations on earth or human theologies or beliefs. God is a term pointing to the unified Source and Intimacy of the Life that is All That is Present - where you seem to be. God is the Totality of You that is denied, in order to play out the dream of an orphaned private authoritative mind or will. But God is only lost to those minds in dream while the dreaming is accepted and desired above reality itself. Where the desire to determine and control what is real usurps the acceptance of and participation in Reality as Given. Unified Being does not give a polarized experience. That is a gift we give ourselves and can thus be undone.
In everything we do, we teach ourselves - but also others. Human thinking, in its disconnect from living trust that can only be known in the heart, teaches deception and robs the life of the Life - of the true and present unadulterated feeling of Being.
The 'story of me', my world, my emotional drama - is NOT our Life - but is an overlay of self-will. The journey of a human life gives many opportunities to awaken as the Life. The key is to question or challenge our experience that seems unquestionably real. Not to merely think about it in its own frame of reference - but to willingness to look directly at the mind in action and see how it creates its experience that then defines 'you'. Such is an intimate gift of awareness.
There is more to You than a temporary freak of private thinking and its assertion of meaningless 'meanings'. Love is greater than death for love merely waits on welcome - but death is the ‘achievement’ of a lifetime of going it alone - even if it presented in socially acceptable terms.
To open the heart to love and give witness to love's Reality is the Sunniest and Holiest Place on Earth. This death is the death of meaninglessness and suffering in isolation. Instead of using the mind of self will as means to die to love's Reality moment by moment, through our human life, why not uncover the truly glorious and wondrous quality of the Innocence and Sanctity of Being?
What of pain? Pain is pain - but what we make of it is hidden behind the desire that wants our projections of meaning to be real.
Pain is rooted in the heart and mind that is separated from itself - from the Loving Unified Presence that You Are but believe lost to you. Pain is the Call to awaken from the dream of a separate life, all by yourself, by your will, in your private mind, defended against the infinitude of You as if protecting a real life.
Your will IS done as you elect to determine the meanings of all things - but until Heaven and Earth pass away as separated states - you can not know yourself One in peace, love and joy. Therefore let ‘Thy Will be done on Earth as it Is in Heaven’ hold your true Will in trust while you are restored to the knowledge of the Father you thought to have divorced - and to the full Inheritance that you thought to have squandered.
By willingness to relinquish the self-will that is your first-born son in true and universal service.
We are not human becomings - we are human be-ing. Let the qualities and nature of true Be-ing go forth and multiply in place of the falsely fragmented meanings we thought to make real before.

In everything we do, we teach ourselves - but also others. Human thinking, in its disconnect from living trust that can only be known in the heart, teaches deception and robs the life of the Life - of the true and present unadulterated feeling of Being.
The 'story of me', my world, my emotional drama - is NOT our Life - but is an overlay of self-will. The journey of a human life gives many opportunities to awaken as the Life. The key is to question or challenge our experience that seems unquestionably real. Not to merely think about it in its own frame of reference - but to willingness to look directly at the mind in action and see how it creates its experience that then defines 'you'. Such is an intimate gift of awareness.
There is more to You than a temporary freak of private thinking and its assertion of meaningless 'meanings'. Love is greater than death for love merely waits on welcome - but death is the ‘achievement’ of a lifetime of going it alone - even if it presented in socially acceptable terms.
To open the heart to love and give witness to love's Reality is the Sunniest and Holiest Place on Earth. This death is the death of meaninglessness and suffering in isolation. Instead of using the mind of self will as means to die to love's Reality moment by moment, through our human life, why not uncover the truly glorious and wondrous quality of the Innocence and Sanctity of Being?
What of pain? Pain is pain - but what we make of it is hidden behind the desire that wants our projections of meaning to be real.
Pain is rooted in the heart and mind that is separated from itself - from the Loving Unified Presence that You Are but believe lost to you. Pain is the Call to awaken from the dream of a separate life, all by yourself, by your will, in your private mind, defended against the infinitude of You as if protecting a real life.
Your will IS done as you elect to determine the meanings of all things - but until Heaven and Earth pass away as separated states - you can not know yourself One in peace, love and joy. Therefore let ‘Thy Will be done on Earth as it Is in Heaven’ hold your true Will in trust while you are restored to the knowledge of the Father you thought to have divorced - and to the full Inheritance that you thought to have squandered.
By willingness to relinquish the self-will that is your first-born son in true and universal service.
We are not human becomings - we are human be-ing. Let the qualities and nature of true Be-ing go forth and multiply in place of the falsely fragmented meanings we thought to make real before.

Understanding Everyone: Empathic Reflections about Osama Bin-Laden’s Killing
"Even as you do unto any of men - you do unto Me.
I am the One who is with you now".
What you seem to do is an expression of what is in your heart. If fear and hatred find a place in your heart then you are lost to your love and will act insanely. But the healing of the heart does not lie in acting out from the belief that it's causes are out in the world or in the past, but in your willingness to be the love and see the love - even though love is beyond your own power to make.
The attempt to displace our own split mind onto the world and others can never be resolved in the world or by changing others.
While you seek to hide in the world, you need both enemy and conflict, in order to maintain a seemingly valid mind based upon a largely unconscious denial of your own thought.
None can be brought to reevaluate their own mind and experience but that they discover willingness freely in their own heart.
The seemingly endless conflict and suffering that man calls forth and takes value in is nonetheless the 'wake up' call for those who can no longer maintain their own illusions and believe them true.
Waking up is not an act or limited experience within the world but is the restoration to the mind of its true nature - such that stories of separation are no longer desired or acted out.
This moves us from viewing the world as persons or from identifying ourselves person. But opens to a living expression of the Life as it lives and moves and breathes all things.
God is no respecter of persons - because they are a mental construct in a script acted out as if it were real. Now, remains forever the point of responsibility - and the past is only substituted for it by our desire to experience a partiality as if it were real. This puts us in apparent conflict with reality. But only from the perspective grown within the illusion itself. Not in truth.
The undoing of sins is the nature of perfect love.
In preparation for receiving this we may find stepping stones - where we gain some sense of order amidst chaos by 'putting sins' onto a symbol - and killing it or driving it out. This is not the way that undoes sin - but simply seeds it in the darkness to rise again in other forms.
The mind that actively seeks vengeance cannot hear the call for truth - for it is possessed of its own assertions and a sense of surety that its grievance seems to prove. These are the poor for they know not what they are nor what they do. To love them for what they truly are is to grow the willingness for truth in one mind. One mind.
When the gift is given, it is received - even if the full acceptance of the gift is delayed.
Men live according to the thoughts that they accept into their minds. But have forsaken, denied, lost and forgotten their true relation and nature in their own thought.

Could Greece be the next Lehman Brothers? Yes – and potentially even worse
The system itself is bankrupt.
The mentality that is embodied in the system is bankrupt.
The system cannot fix itself because it can only use the mind that creates it.
An adjustment is the disappearing of an illusory sense of value or reality and a process of actually connecting.
Our minds need adjusting by a heartfelt desire for a true way to live.
Fearful resistance is so deeply embedded that we rarely awaken gracefully, but drag out in denial and evasion - using ingenious minds to keep the show on the road even as it simply becomes ever more deeply destructive and distractive to our real lives.
It may be that the world is on the slide into war. For war and death is an 'escape' from impasse that cannot be addressed. An out-of-control-ness that results from holding onto an illegitimate attempt to control.
But while its all up on the Big Screen, we have a millennial opportunity to see our minds reflected without dumping it onto others or the past, and allow a shift of our mind and our heart to open our perspective on everything.
Listen, receive and do.

I'd stake my life that Stephen Hawking is wrong about heaven
There is nothing so blinding as self image or concept.
This 'self' uses the body as its temporary 'home' and yet kills it over time - because the self is the idea of separating off from Life.
It usurps and distorts all that is eternally Alive in asserting its own 'kingdom'; its own judgement - and its own imaginative wishful thinking.
And yet it only works on a local copy.
That which is eternal is and always Is
What we choose to give our attention to is up to us.
But to let our mind rest of its attempt to 'understand' and thereby control all things to its own presumed perspective, is to allow the Universal Field of Being to align all things truly.
Because religion has been used as a tool of manipulation, its terms are degraded for those who refuse the carrot and the stick, but it remains true that if you cease to invest in your own definitions of life and others and the world, then you can experience the infilling Meaning that redeems and restores your awareness to its true roots - in a Non Local Field - even amidst all appearances of self and world and circumstance.
You are the scientist and you are the experiment in which you abandon the fearful, deceptive, mean spirited, self concerned mentality that is not worthy of the truth of You.
To those who still choose conflict as the lifeblood of their identity, hell is heaven and heaven is hell.
A modern fairytale is extinction - like a tv turned off. As if responsibility could EVER be truly evaded! Rude awakenings may nonetheless turn out to be helpful when help is accepted.
For by what we think and believe in our heart, we will experience.
If there is a desire to protect the thinking from the presence and relational current of feeling, then the dimension of Soul will be put aside, discarded, rendered invisible, unwanted - amidst a perpetual distraction that validates and enables thinking some more.
The god that we make is a symbolic representation that reflects something of the nature of our self. It can grow out from magical and fearful beginnings and become an opening way to a real relational receptivity.
God Presencing all things right where you are is all there is of you - not just in the locally defined sense of personhood and its experience - but as all in all.
Because such awareness or communioned being is prior to all thought processes, it is invisible and unthinkable and therefore non existent to a thinking based sense of self. Yet a thought cannot be observed but that Awareness is present.
We may define all things in our own image and live as if it were true - but we do not make awareness Be. Rest in the intimacy of your own being and don't get pulled into the crab-barrel of opinions. If you do not find rest, become a scientist. Watch the mind, the emotions, the body. See the nature of consciousness and see through your own deceptions. No one else can take this journey for you. You are free to take it when you are willing. Heaven is not what you think - but in letting your thought be guided in a truly listening heart, Love's Meaning will register with you.

Who wrote the Bible?
Whatever seems to be going on on the outside - what we call the world - is a correspondence of something Prior to the world and the mind that experiences itself within a world.
The understanding of the Bible from a surface based perspective is like any other surface based understanding in that it merely serves to validate surface based identity. When the identification with the surface identity breaks down or begins to disintegrate, a more inclusive awareness rises through the experience of being alive. In all times and cultures there are stepping stones, bridges and transitional aids that serve the re-awakening of being to its true nature - which is always and already true - but had been seen through a glass darkly; through the definition structures of thought and belief that filter and distort the experience of pure awareness or being - into a polarised play of apparently conflicting forces. I am writing in the heart and I rest in the meaning that is in my heart to share. Words can and will be given meanings what not intended - in a mind that is inclined to determine meanings rather than discern meaning. True authority does not use external props. Jesus' way is not idolatry of external specialness - but a living example for our own heart to recognize regardless of outer religion. Truth is to be realised through our own willingness and acceptance and not determined by talk or thought - or our vanity becomes insanity.

The cultural shift from story mind to scientific observing mind is beneath the seeming conflict between the Bible as heart-guide and the Bible as historically valid document.
The truth in a story is reflected in the heart of the teller/writer as well as the reader/listener and is not to be confused with the story itself - but honour the messengers of Peace. No image, concept, symbol or story can be equal to truth. The Bible teaches this. To realize truly we have to 'be still and know, rather than to imposture unrealized truths as if our own.
Science is not concerned with truth because it is inherently blind to the heart - but is involved with what it can map, measure and define and thus predict and control. It’s usage of the term truth is outside the heart sense of truth because the 'observer’ is presumed to be outside the observed. This itself is a story and serves as a mechanism and filter that brings forth a powerful capacity to manipulate the world - but with an ever depreciating wisdom - because it is disconnected from real relationship.
Thinking mind may define 'love, and relationship', but unless surrendered in service to the truth of these it is simply a way of distraction from intimacy - which is the nature of Reality despite that tricksy mind dissociates and hides in stories it wants to be true. What is truth to the mind that wants its own story to be true?

In a sense, the form or world-aspect of a spiritual communication is secondary to the point. It reveals something true of your own heart and life as you become capable of discerning or recognizing truth. In defensive mind we will hardly listen, for one will be seeking to validate or protect the mind as it defines itself in your name. But self-seeking mind is destructive of true peace, love or joy and brings in time a willingness to reevaluate from a less demanding perspective, for we are not truly at home in conflict, limitation and pain.
When we open to the truth that renews, heals and reveals our freedom, what then tends to humanly occur is that the form or vehicle that served a true communication is lost to the mind that uses it as an idol - as an external absolute authority or power - and thus usurps the true authority of heartfelt communication, in support of private self-will.
Self-will operates as a largely a hidden or private attempt to control or manipulate one’s own experience founded on a usually unconscious but active desire to judge, which is a process of division and exclusion by which a pseudo sense of self is accorded reality and acted from as if it were true. All of our experience is filtered at this level such that we are deceived by our own mind and know it not - excepting we do know a loss of love, joy and peace no matter what thinking might be used to justify the denial of the heart, Soul or Spirit. And that is why we must question or challenge our experience from the basis of a true foundation and not from the basis of one’s own past based thinking.
The way that such guidance appears or arises in our lives differs - but the Bible, when read in a true willingness to listen rather than persuade or coerce the mind is a rich source of the opening to you of a higher law than human thought can imagine - and that cannot therefore be brought into the realm of human casual association without ‘taking the Name in vain’.
It is not possible to communicate to the surface from the inclusive depth because the nature of the surface is to turn away from the depth so as to engage in self-will. But it is also impossible to ACTUALLY disengage from true will or to CEASE to be what you truly are - no matter what 'experience' is generated to seem to prove otherwise. That which is untrue doesn't so much perish - as cease to be seen as ever having been real. There is a basis for the release of the false and the regaining of a true inheritance, but the mind that wants to study 'ABOUT' the spirit is simply a way to extend the avoidance of relationship.

Comment: I fully agree. But you have to find a less didactic way of putting it if you hope to convince the Atheists and agnostics here or even to help them understand it.

I dont seek to persuade or convince anyone here. Your mind is yours to engage or to release to serve a greater trust - but not mine to manipulate or coerce. I like good company - and look forward to being understood, but the love in a shared willingness to honour and value life doesn't wait on being understood in concept - but only of finding welcome.
Is there a need for fresh ways of speaking of things that cant really be spoken - usually associated with spirituality and religion? Fresh ways start from fresh foundations and it is this difference in foundation that cannot communicate to thinking based identity - because that thinks it already knows.
Receptivity isn't just about processing information. One may feel a communication without being able to currently make sense of it at head level.
Our opportunity - indeed our responsibility - is to discern the movement in our heart and allow it to move us. If this is truly un covered and extended, then it truly shares. The gift may not be fully accepted or understood but I have the benefit of having shared and you have a witness for your worthiness of my appreciation.
What we say in our mouth is not the governing principle - but what we think in our heart. If we limit ourselves to surface ‘realities’ we do not know what we do because we do not know our own heart. But we are not really escaping the truth.

Acid trips, self knowledge and the hidebound
Know Thyself is the Law of Being. It operates always and in all ways. Give as you would receive - because they are one in truth.
But to a mind engaged in hiding within its own thought - in its definitions, judgements and experience, the Law of love is hidden - and a prodigal journey is undertaken wherein a Heavenly Inheritance is squandered for the 'hit' of being a 'someone in my own right'.
All that you are remains all that you are - yet awaits your welcome and acceptance while you insist on being as you are not and demanding its little life is your own.
In ignorance, this ego thinks to 'discover' reality - as if Reality is not already Perfectly Alive and in Communion with Its Own! Put down the mask and be found in Its terms or play on in illusion and learn you do not want it.
The Ground of Being rises gently in us all - as a remembering of what was never really separate - and the playground of the night-mind is released of its fascination such that it becomes less and less easy to believe in, find fulfilment in or remain its follower. Perhaps it becomes more painfully meaningless. Painful because that is not your true home or environment
To 'stop the world' - which is of course to disengage the mind from its own chatter, its own drama-story and its own defensive lockdown on feeling/knowing anything fully and directly - is a simplicity of Universal grace. A noticing of what is already Moving in awareness from a perspective denied by the previous thinking. To be aware is not to think or even an act of attention - but is a grace and gift of being.
There is no need to use force against the mind to open her secrets when She gives all that she is to you freely in love.
Love - yes. That is what is seemingly lost in the tricksy mind that presents itself so as to hide in form that love's honesty is avoided.
Love is unimaginable to the mind that demands self specialness then hides from the consequences. It thinks it knows - and is therefor as blind and deaf as Narcissus by the pool.
The desire to know truly - to truly know - is awakening desire. By whatever paths it leads out of self illusion, be grateful - but don't presume the forms that served you as necessarily relevant for others.
The mind of deceit is not intending to deceive. It simply believes it knows and that it is you. But it doesn't know love and so it doesn't know you.
There is no experience high or low that can fulfil you excepting the truth of you - and that is not outside you, or hidden by anything except the desire to see Mind external to you and play out as if a-part, in a private mind.
Love is never so lost as to be unable to call its Own.
All experience can serve learning if we are following the discernment of the heart.
If we come at last to wisdom, we will not be able to give it - but only to live out from it and in its light - amidst a world in which folly is held in higher regard.

In ignorance, this ego thinks to 'discover' reality - as if Reality is not already Perfectly Alive and in Communion with Its Own! Put down the mask and be found in Its terms or play on in illusion and learn you do not want it.
The Ground of Being rises gently in us all - as a remembering of what was never really separate - and the playground of the night-mind is released of its fascination such that it becomes less and less easy to believe in, find fulfilment in or remain its follower. Perhaps it becomes more painfully meaningless. Painful because that is not your true home or environment
To 'stop the world' - which is of course to disengage the mind from its own chatter, its own drama-story and its own defensive lockdown on feeling/knowing anything fully and directly - is a simplicity of Universal grace. A noticing of what is already Moving in awareness from a perspective denied by the previous thinking. To be aware is not to think or even an act of attention - but is a grace and gift of being.
There is no need to use force against the mind to open her secrets when She gives all that she is to you freely in love.
Love - yes. That is what is seemingly lost in the tricksy mind that presents itself so as to hide in form that love's honesty is avoided.
Love is unimaginable to the mind that demands self specialness then hides from the consequences. It thinks it knows - and is therefor as blind and deaf as Narcissus by the pool.
The desire to know truly - to truly know - is awakening desire. By whatever paths it leads out of self illusion, be grateful - but don't presume the forms that served you as necessarily relevant for others.
The mind of deceit is not intending to deceive. It simply believes it knows and that it is you. But it doesn't know love and so it doesn't know you.
There is no experience high or low that can fulfil you excepting the truth of you - and that is not outside you, or hidden by anything except the desire to see Mind external to you and play out as if a-part, in a private mind.
Love is never so lost as to be unable to call its Own.
All experience can serve learning if we are following the discernment of the heart.
If we come at last to wisdom, we will not be able to give it - but only to live out from it and in its light - amidst a world in which folly is held in higher regard.

Thankyou for your blog. I am interested in uncovering the modes of thought and intention that I feel are reflected in the world as deception used to control. In some way not unlike the dog in the film the Wizard or Oz – who pulled the curtain on the old man with the levers. A role not unlike your own in the world. This is because I feel that deception – smoke, mirrors and false promise – uses nothing in such as way as to seem to be not only something – but a something that is different in kind and in nature from Truth – Reality – That Which Is – as it is – and not as it is presented via symbol, concept, image and derivative definitions. I cannot explore this with mere thinking – as concepts are the ‘currency’ of the mind that defines itself – but I can follow the guidance of thoughts that arise from a genuine and innocent desire to know truth rather than determine, assert or control truth.
The promises that seduce, appeal to a sense of lack that is itself an effect of the attempt to ‘get’ for oneself alone or indeed to grasp and possess life instead of sharing in it.
I felt to share this much as a token of appreciation and connection.
All levels of shared purpose are one. My own sense is to work at the level that sees insanity for what it is – in my own mind – (albeit served by my experience of the world in which it seems ‘other minds’ act out that which I find hateful – excepting I see the seed in my own thought and know that getting, grasping and private self interest, though writ large in the world – is also in my own mind’s habit – so I seek to notice it and nothing it – if you see what I mean.
The Commonwealth that is stripped and wasted by the mentality of seeking to possess and wield power has a Divine Root – and this is the Original Uneditable Love that remains true as our inherent nature, even if covered with wishes and lies and alibis. But unless that is expressed in a currency based on true wealth (gold standard) – it is just itself wishful thinking or at best a potentiality untapped.
Exactly how being saved from our own illusions translates into a rising of health and wholeness is to be uncovered. But for it to be so must needs to desist using them as a currency – but instead being vigilant to SEE directly without investment.
Perhaps I appear quite mad – but perhaps those who awaken to an insanity have taken the first step away from living within its dictate.
