The only truth in a world of lies is in releasing it

There are deeper shenanigans beneath the unfolding or world events. But your theme is worthy in illuminating not just outworn identity allegiance - but that this is the primary means of leveraging control over what is ostensibly, freedom to choose.

When we watch a film, most of the movie we experience is an internally constructed continuity.

The illusionists are thus using what is already in mind, to generate narratives that we then invest in and  are conditioned by as experienced.

That this technology can be used to express an integrity to life, as a projection of themes that hold recognisable resonances to our humanity, is so, but it is used to subliminally condition the minds of others to conform and comply with directed narratives as a means to frame and control or undermine natural human response.

In the world we have 'who started it' as a bone of contention, for there is an appetite for diversion and distraction in story that can reveal itself as a demand for unconsciousness as escape from what is.

But all of it can be observed within ourselves - not as blame and shame, but in curiosity for truth as the condition of an inner peace or living acceptance of what is.

The block to seeing is in the convictions of our active judgements and identity thereof; for we believe we already know what is, and seek to change, defend, escape, forfend, overcome, eradicate suppress or cast out some aspects while holding on to others.

Identity politics as such is the manipulation of ideological polarisation to serve as leverage or proxy to a third party agenda to whom no such 'identities' matter beyond their usefulness as a means of control.

Identity give to control is usually called 'power', but the power of life is not in the control of one part over others, but in its wholeness.

To All the king’s horses and all the king’s men, wholeness is at best - a future condition of restoring the Golden Age after getting rid of the bugs in the system - but never in the system of their own predicated identity in a fractured and fragmented 'power struggle' which IS identity conflict.

But no matter how real the movie in its emotional experience, it is all the meaning you give it, and if a director is gratuitously manipulating your willingness to extend trust as a relational endeavour of shared art and being, then don't give it permission to run within your own mind, your own home or to use you and your family to propagate a dis-integrity as a 'normal' of acceptable currency.

You are free to give and receive the meaning to your experience, but you are not free to make the untrue true - even if you choose to be-live it at expense of awareness and sharing in the true.

This also means the right to withdraw consent as a result of recognising lack of substance or illegitimacy of claim.

I feel it also worth noting that demonising our past is always undermining of our full presence.

That we operated under limitations, that were later found false, mistaken or misguided, is not a source of guilt and damnation unless we choose to give and receive such meanings from our current sense of limitation. We learn in and grow through the living. The intent to deny and lock down the living as a risk of threat to a system of control that will set the 'correct' meanings, narratives and genetic sequences to humans as machine code, is the machine-thinking of a mindset of proactive defence - that seeks to kill life before it can fully happen, so as to align in the sense of power over life as the intent and attempt to define, predict and control 'it'.

If we 'it' life, we alienate our self - or become what we are NOT - under All the king’s horses and all the king’s men. Life ‘sticks with us’ even though we set such insane thinking and suffer it as the dream turned to nightmare from which no escape seems possible. But if we did not struggle so, more light would come in and illuminate where we are our own worst enemy - but can choose to stop playing whack-a-mole with our hates and fears, and become curious rather than convicted and condemned. Truth isn't a weapon for war, but a revealing of what truly underlies the world we be-live and die to. In holding for the conditions of integrity of being truth is the rock of peace - not the rock to cast out at others. War is where communication - in truth - breaks down or is lost to conflicted ideas about truth.

The only truth in a world of lies is in releasing it, to a truly shared appreciation of an instant of recognition as a living love is allowed to our awareness of where we truly live. Though the 'world' returns, it is not unchanged by the direct experience of what is simply natural to being, but inhibited and suppressed by fear of loss of face or acceptance and inclusion in the terms of who we think we are.
