Casting out to gather in

The opening paragraph could be rephrased without framing in moral judgements?

Our experience of being unseen or unsupported (denied) shapes an as yet undifferentiated love or self-awareness. Dissonance is taken in to structure or strategise our personal survival within our family or formative cultural constellation.
Sacrifice is the gift of limitation through which to learn, grow, acquire and adapt participance in the human experience set for 'getting' from a sense of self-lack.
We might also see it as separation trauma to a self-dissociation from a felt quality of being whose development or unfolding consciousness  serves to create our life-experience.
"Casting out" has many rich meanings!
Casting out to mask, hide, get rid of or forbid, adapts the law of Mind - giving and receiving as one - to a split minded defence against disclosure against fear of pain of loss. The defences then contain, persist and protect the unhealed conflict as a 'less intolerable' experience, in which guilt for dissonance of being is projected as praise (self-specialness) and blame (demanding penalty or sacrifice).
Seeking gain of function in external terms predicates on the mask or artifice and ingenuity of blind defences or machined thinking, such that we render creation (thought-intention of desire) to Other, to unconscious, and to the suppressed impulsed framed by fear as threat.
The Separation consciousness is real and compelling experience, of an alloy of love and fear seeking to mask in love, by which to hollow to ritualised automatic observances to a system of power set as safety under god of sacrifice or death... of love.
But the Prodigal is a phished or mis-taken identity set in the lie and the father of it - for a living Inherence can only be denied in concept - not in God.
God is not mocked, but belief we caused pain in the heart of God (or indeed the loves in our life) and are thus guilty, sets the masking defences that then - in the manner of self-fulfilling fears - manifest as our 'life gone wrong' or lacking acceptance, appreciation and support in which a wholeness of being is naturally guided or aligned to unfolding fulfilment of a wholeness - not boosting of a lack set needy and controlling by hooks or by crooks!
The complexity of the consciousness we have co-created as our world will not yield to the machinations of the mind that makes it! - but it would have your funding and attention to dedicate to the process of seeking that is framed to not find - yet always to offer some new variant of the same futility as if This Time will be different! The stimulus that numbs by persistent response hollows the reaction of looking without curiosity or expectation of seeing. So as to normalise  patterns of thought and behaviour running in place of a living will.
Recognising the pattern is a direct observation from innate awareness that can shift and expand from a willingness to actually turn up and look with the desire to see or know the truth uncovering - rather than confirm or boost the already installed operating system of 'identity'.
Directly felt qualities of knowing can re-activate patterns of neediness masking as the unhealed healer, such as rushing to tell others without truly abiding in its gift to be aligned integrated & transformed. This also is valid feedback or noticing patterns of guilting by which to choose not to use them and so regain trust in our life our being and our world - from a quality of being, not of thinking.
What then of thinking and the abilities we have grown, developed and in a sense become?
'Swords into ploughshares' symbolises the re-purposing or renewal of our mind and world.
