I know you will say that your world dictates, and that the actions of others dictate.
You think to be other-concerned but are asleep to your masking definitions running invisibly as your normalised 'reality'.
This pattern and device of virtue signalling always reveals itself a lack of love and indeed a resort to hate and weaponisation of communication such as you give example of smear and insinuation.
My point is that war is not the source, basis, creator or determiner of what and who your are, even if it is operating as the conditioning from which you perceive and react.
Nothing is more narcissistic than a Man's identification with his own thinking, mask it how you will to engineer or manufacture whatever personal and social 'realities' you think you want. Yet what you make will make you!
There is no awareness of Relationship in Narcissus, but to block it so as to protect a masked substitution for Reality. Hence the mask of virtue, for without it the hate, fear and guilt running beneath would be unmasked - and this is what the war is made to hide.
I invite putting aside your thinking to let a quality of relational being stir, move or prompt you to a different appreciation for living than me memes.
It is characteristic to project our own unconscious motives onto the 'other'.
You can then use your judgements of 'other' to address what your thinking masked your from owning - as if to make you happy.
Unselfconscious being is not manufactured, controllable or graspable. Self-consciousness is a capacity to inhibit, limit and seemingly oppose or deny reality - and we experience this at all levels of our human experience.
If you deny your (unselfconscious) Self, you will give yourself the experience of being denied, not least by seeking social reinforcement for grievance, defence and the call to war and sacrifice AS IF in the name of love - but always a broken, rejected, abandoned, denied, deprived, betrayed and lost love set in symbol.
Is THIS is god or power you invoke in worship of victimhood as source of 'caring'.
You are correct in this much; that any insights of life are soon marketised and weaponised by a mindset in lack, fear, loss of love and greed for a substitution.
So the words that are associated and made symbol of anything worthy of what we truly are, can be set in weaponised language or 'propaganda' of attempt to get or to manipulate by stealth and guile in place of open attack.
We don't really get out of an impossible situation, such as recognise we are not in it. The ego is an ingenuity for defining our self in contradiction or 'masking doublethink'. A split mind that knows not what it does. Brining our own thought and word to awareness in the heart of being - rather than the mask of virtue made by thinking - is the willingness to let our own self-propaganda be undone.
That which has an element of truth or worth is refined or redeemed to it original and that which has no substance is released as a meaninglessness that COSTS our awareness and appreciation of meaning. Until we see this, we will suffer evils as an active intent to deny or destroy us, that will set our body and mind in contraction and reaction to what our past has stamped on our present such as to deny presence in dreams that turned to nightmares with no way out.
An elitist exclusivism runs its memes on the minds of the many, to recruit 'sin eaters' whose thinking is set to acquire virtues, as credits by which to suffer less. Repackaging toxic debt in complex instruments is the mind of deceit set in highly defended self-evasion that flocks together as a greed for possession and control. The botnet of mind capture is founded on self-interest set in the frame of getting for a separated or distanced and masked immunity from truth.
That this cannot function to support life is the game of socially engineering 'musical chairs' and 'pass the parcel' - as to who gets a chair and who pays in sacrifice. The struggle to control the mind must then reveal itself hollow and false, and destructive - as an anti-life agenda.
Here is the crux of a choice;
Do you polarise against it as if a 'resistance' taking virtue by demonisation and attack?
Or seek out and release all that is already running as part of it bot-net of false thinking to open and accept a quality of responsibility for life that 'unconsciousness protected from'.
None of what I write is to suggest that our doing or action is absent - but that it must embody who and what we are accepting and identifying true of us in its moment. One who acts without inner recognition for being is as one who knows not what he does under subconscious habits that go back to unconscious or denied experience that is no less active for being packaged as the past, or as something covered over and replaced with complex adjustments and adaptation to a present sense of face as control.

I wrote this to the suggestion that all communication is propaganda.
Are you seeking to convince yourself amidst doubt?
My sense of propaganda is the weaponisation of language and of communication.
This is really not communication at all but only statements of reality assertion.
Communication is extension, self-revealing recognition both giving and receiving. Communication is the nature of Life or being.
The mind can operate as an interjection, as an imaging or model of reality/communication that can seem to come between giving and receiving, such as to render an experience of withholding or withdrawal from communication or separation, as a thing apart.
A thing apart from Communication, Life or being is set in its own terms as a thing in itself, or a self in and of itself. It sees all things in terms of itself, and reacts accordingly to others and world set in the frame of separateness, conflict and contradiction.
The 'reality' of the ego is a conflicted sense of self and world. It has all the reality we give it, bit none in and of itself because nothing IS in and of itself - but in concept - in mind, in imaged thinking and form.
I offer this to your freedom to alight in or ignore.
But my motivation is to share in what I appreciate, value and choose to meet in or resonate with. Without freedom, this would not be and so your freedom is mine, even if taking different facets of the whole or what it is to be.
I do not see or hold life or being as war, but I see the mind has this propensity to 'separate' in judgements given value and invested identity as a basis of sharing in like reaction, such as to reinforce an idea by opposition. The mind is very tricky. I invite watching the mind so as to know what you do, or else it can substitute or phish reality, while our attention runs in a distorted copy, unawares.
