Deeper than Political Shenanigans

The trick is to induce people to slavery under the illusion of gaining freedom.

The 'choices' being carefully set and managed to work the same effective outcome but merely to a repackaged narrative masking representation.

It goes way deeper than political shenanigans, but they may also reveal the mind to itself.

What we want to believe can be based on what we fear to be true instead of what we truly love.

Thank God for truly loving!

I have a politics question here though:

Who and what was behind Cameron's calling the referendum?

My sense is that it is of the same stable as all top down narrative leverage.

Though these get globbed together, there must be factions and hierarchy to those called 'elites' along the lines of a 'shared' self interest set against anything perceived as threat or risk to their pursuing of such interests.

Astroturfing is not just faking grass roots movement, but of inducing and cultivating them.

This is not to say that some exposure to the idea of Sovereignty or free will was not involved in seemingly 'losing ground to <s>democracy</s> repackaged as populism, which has been no less directed by covid by media.

Reactive polarised identities drown out any real awareness of real issues. So does that mean we choose whether to identify in conflict or uncover what truly identifies us?

The question is real. Where did Cameron's referendum come from?

Are there sub narratives such as purging the political class of  'non team players' under a global PPP?

I'm all for valuing and conserving what worked - in ways that still work.

Throwing out the baby with the bathwater results from blanket judgements of a machine or dissociated thinking. Such as identity set in religion, family, nation, ideology etc causes war - therefore destroy religion, family, nation, ideology etc so as to reset it in a biosecurity state control system.

The 'cure' becomes the very evil it identifies in self-righteous hatred of.

Recognising our error is the only way that the polarity flips, but usually to simply reset the same pattern under righteous hate of that seen as betraying and deceiving - grievously and tragically so.

Where does a true grassroots movement arise that is NOT a polarised reaction to sins and evils perceived in Others?

Perhaps from a true gratitude for life and to the love of truth that moves us to recognise and value freedom to be - for others as for ourselves.
